A/N: Hey guys. Remember that itsy bitsy promise I made about how if I didn't get 25 reviews before the end of that week? Well, since I had nothing else to do, I decided to update the story anyway. :D
Anyway, I noticed that there are only 2 people who bother reviewing my story anymore, which profoundly disturbed me. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to actually quit this story or not, but it's still fun to write it anyway.
So…
Chapter 12
Revelation
~gr8job~
'Why? Why didn't he tell us?' I thought. I couldn't believe it. For the longest time, we'd been trapped in that cell down in the Nether, and Ninja had become my best friend. When servants brought us food, Ninja would curse at them and tell them to go away. He never really seemed hungry too often. As I now realized, the pigmen always abused me and iEcho, insulted us, threatened us, but although hard to notice, they always sort of respected Ninja. They never threatened him, they never attacked him, and they didn't even really talk to him unless spoken to. It all made sense now.
So why was he was in that cell? Was his story about being caught in the Nether the truth? Was he a spy? I didn't understand. Now, I was determined to find him. I had to. No matter what.
"Hey you!" I heard the shout and immediately spun my head around. A pigman with his sword drawn stared me down. I drew my weapon, and his eyes narrowed. I cursed and ran into the box, closing and locking the door. Before any more attention could be brought to me, I flipped levers, I typed in keypads, and the handbrake was flipped down in an instant. I looked at the monitor, showing an outside view of the box. All I saw was the endless vortex. I sighed. "Too close for comfort…" I said.

When I awoke, I found myself in a castle. It was made of refined Nether Brick, though it was horribly ruined. Cracked. Broken.
"You're awake. Hee hee…"
At the sound of the voice, I snapped to attention. I could see not a single thing around me. There was nothing in the room save for the bed and I. I quickly got up and stripped the sheet, tucking it into my inventory. 'You never know…' I looked around, looking for any sign of an exit, and felt under the bed. I felt a handle, and believing it to be a lever, pulled. What really happened, was that I pulled out a shiny budder axe. Before I could begin to wonder why it was under my bed, I felt someone tap my shoulder. As I turned around, he disappeared again. I kept on looking around, before finally….
"BOO!" he said. I fell to the ground and screamed.
"Haha! I can't believe I can still do that! Tehehhehee!" From the looks of him, I already knew. It was Metscatcher.
Flashback
I was lost in thought, pondering the situation. These people…. They seemed to simply be travelers. On a quest. I liked adventure, it kept life, interesting….
"Before we got here, we were attacked by someone named Metscatcher. He looks a lot like me…" Ninja seemed to drift off at that before continuing. "…except that the letters on his shirt will be M and C. If you see him, best you attack on sight." I nodded.
Flashback End
"You…" I lunged at him with the axe, only for him to quickly sidestep and catch my wrist. "Ugh, no! Let me GO!" I struggled in his grip, but it was almost as if his fist was made of diamond. The more I struggled, the more his grip increased. Then, I heard an audible crack, and felt a seering pain in my arm.
My screams were loud, yet they went unheard.

"You're such a horrible friend. I love that." I said. I chuckled as I continued to speak with Brotato. He looked at me. For a moment, his eyes were filled with malice, but the look was gone as quick as it had appeared. He most likely didn't think I saw it. I turned back to my other companion.
"Mmmphhhphhhh!"
"It's no use, I do the talking here brother." I chuckled as the demon's father continued to yell and struggle in his restraints. It wasn't any use, I knew. The more he struggled, the more his restraints squeezed.
"Now, I'm aware that you are an esteemed member of the high council of gods. You were favored over me by our older sibling, do you not remember?" At the thought of the face of that ridiculous bald idiot, I felt the need to throw up. "I'd like to have some intel on recent events. I'd call it evening the playing field. Can't have you weaklings' plots go unnoticed."
He glared and struggled, but it was no use.

Stone cracked. The drill was starting to run out of power. I went back to the main area and smelted some of the iron in the furnace. I opened the small chest and took out a small bottle of water. "You thirsty?" I asked.
X looked at me and nodded thankfully as I gave him the bottle. "You do know that you can just grab a drink yourself if you want, right?" X shook his head. "I don't want to use up your hard earned supplies. I have my own home in the X system. I just need some rest, then I'll be out of your hair."
I raised an eyebrow. I knew X was a nice, and honorable person, but to go as far as to starve and thirst himself instead of just grabbing a drink? It was kind of stupid, really. I just turned around and walked away.

With all the bodies piled around me, I was scared. Really scared. Then I realized that with no one to help me, and no more of a town, I had very little to survive. I immediately started gathering supplies. I went into what was left of all the houses, and I searched each and every chest, grabbing every last morsel of food. I searched as many bodies as I could for more supplies, finding tools from different people, farmers, woodworkers, miners, hunters…. I felt tears in my eyes as I saw a tiny boy, who couldn't have been older than 5 years old, slumped over, cut in half by a wooden plank. I grabbed an Iron Sword off of a hunter, as well as his rusted and broken armor. Once I readily equipped myself, I walked out of the town. I tried my best not to look at all the people whose lives I took. They were all innocent, and could've done so much. Even the children weren't spared. I understood right then, that I was the true definition of a monster.
~Rick~
I cut down some more trees. I needed to gather more wood for our camp; we were running out of fuel, and Ninja still hadn't found any coal. I suddenly heard a hiss, and turned around to find two creepers moving too quick while being too close for me to be comfortable. My crystal began to shine, and on instinct the earth rose from the ground and smashed the creepers…
...just as some girl tried to take a dive at the creepers and have a 'saved the male' moment.
I just stared at her as she faceplanted into the ground.
It took me a full ten seconds to process what just happened, before I immediately burst out laughing.
A/N: So, how was this chapter? I honestly think it was my best yet, most likely because I haven't written for so long that I can't tell the difference anymore.
Shout out to DrWhovianist who submitted the OC who popped up at the end! :D
Anyway, see you next time.
