-Savannah-
I was walking the corridors with Luna, both of us talking about her crush on Castiel, then my phone rang. Since Luna knew about me and my brothers, i pulled it out and looked at the caller ID, instantly brightening more.
"Jo!" I practically yelled into the phone,
"Whoa, calm ya horses, Savannah." The twanged voice drawled out on the other end.
"Oh my gosh, it's been so long since I've heard from you, how you been?" I asked as me and Luna sat on one of the benches, me putting the phone between me and Luna, so she can hear.
"I've been good, still workin', takin' down those evil sons of bitches that keep poppin' up all over the place" she told me.
"I'm sorry, Jo, wish we could all be there to help you and your mom" I said.
"It's not a problem, me and Bobby are handlin' it" she told me.
"Speaking of that Idgit, how is he? Haven't heard from him since we became enrolled" I asked
"He's good, cranky as ever, but still good" she told me.
I laughed, "aw, I miss you guys over there" i said,
"We miss you too, how're things in London-town?" She asked.
"Things are fine, nothing our kinda strange happening" I told her.
"Well that's good, for now"
"Tell me about it. So Jo, how's your mom?"
"She's good, still not so comfortable with me huntin', but someone has to do it. Hunters keep droppin' like flies for these last few months over here"
"Oh wow, I'm incredibly sorry"
"Don't worry 'bout it, Savvy. Me, mom, Bobby and Ash got things covered"
"Okay, if you're sure"
"I'm positive" she replied.
"Alright" i said
"So, any news? Any boyfriends, any cute British guys like they claim there are?" She asked,
"Well Jo, to be honest, i technically have a boyfriend"
"Whataya mean technically?" She asked.
"It's not entirely official yet, i mean, we're still taking things slow"
"Friend-zoned i see"
"No, it's just... Well. We've done some things, but our relationship isn't official yet"
"Wait, by that, do you mean that you did what i think you did?" She asked,
"Yeah, we kinda did."
"Oooh, how was it?" She asked and i can practically see the grin.
I blushed, Luna taking it as her cue and walking off a bit. "It was... really amazing. So mind-blowing and i just loved every second of it. He was amazing, and well, he was my first in everything" i told her, smiling, blushing more.
"Aww, he's your first? That's so cute"
"Yeah"
"Does he know?"
"Know what?"
"What you really are and what we all do?" She asked,
"Oh yeah, he knows. I told him a while back"
"Well that's good. So, you planning on taking things further with him?" She asked.
"I don't know, I mean, we did share -a lot- with each other and i really like him, but I'm not sure if this puts us in a relationship"
"Have you talked about it?"
"Honestly, yes, but when I brought it up at the time, i wasn't ready"
"Talk about friend-zoned" she said
"No no, it's not that, it's just... I don't know, I don't want anything bad to happen. Not with the life we live. It's not safe for anyone, why do you think Dean has one night stands and Sam never truly dates?" I pointed out.
"You're right" she said
"I mean, I haven't liked a guy until i met Harry, but i don't want to bring him into our life like this. I don't want him getting hurt"
"Sounds like you really like this guy" Jo said,
"I do"
"She does" Luna chimed in at the same time as me as she came back.
"Who was that?" Jo asked.
"Luna, my roommate."
"Wait. Where are Sam, Dean, Cas and Gabe?" She asked.
"Well, when we got to the school on the first day, they separated us into houses and Dean, Cas and Gabe were separated from me and Sam. Sam's probably in the library as usual" I said.
Jo laughed, "typical Sam"
"Yeah, so Jo, what news do you got?" I asked.
"Nothin'" she said quietly,
"Sure doesn't sound like nothing to me. You know you can't hide anything from me Joey" i teased.
"Don't call me that" she said,
"Fine, how about Joanna?" I said, laughing, Luna laughing with me, then i heard Bobby's gruff voice in the background telling Jo to stop yapping and get to work.
She laughed, "not that either. Gotta go before Bobby gets even crankier" she said.
I laughed again, "alright, bye Jo, I'll check in on you guys later" i told her, then we hung up.
"So, who is Jo?" Luna asked
"She's another hunter and my best friend, she's like a sister to me, her father knew my father, they hunted together, but uh, our father got her father killed, Jo hated my dad for it, Dean feels bad."
"Let me guess and say Dean fancies Jo?" She asked.
I nodded, "yeah, they have a thing for each other, but they don't wanna admit it, pisses me and Sam off"
Luna laughed, "I can imagine" she said, then looked at me curiously, "what's an Idgit?" She asked, her blue eyes wide and curious, completely reminding me of Cas.
"Oh, an Idgit is Bobby's way of saying idiot." I told her, "it just caught on, so we began saying it"
"Oh" she replied...

-The Next Day; Savannah-
I walked into Potions with Sam, telling him about the call with Jo and how things were going bad back home.
"You think we should go back?" He asked.
"I feel that we should, I mean, she told me we've been losing hunters like crazy, that doesn't sound weird to you?" I asked,
"Of course, i mean, we're dying off, this isn't good, Sav, i think we have to go back"
I sighed, "i know, I want to, but we're not done here, we haven't even started. There are too many distractions, what with the rest of the tournament, we won't finish right away" i said.
"Well, guess we better get started now" he said.
I nodded, then we got to our assignment Snape gave us.
"So what do you think is killing off the hunters? We haven't had this much deaths since the time we killed the 'yellow-eyed' demon." Sam asked me as we worked on our potions.
"Either demons, or something more. I'm not sure. Jo didn't say, Bobby interrupted"
Sam sighed, "I really hope it's demons. They're easier"
"I know. Maybe it's Crowley"
"Doubt it. He wouldn't kill off hunters, he knows better than that. Crowley's a lot smarter than we give him credit for"
"True" I said, then sighed and sat down as i waited for my potion to brew.
"Could be Meg" he suggested
"Maybe, but what if it isn't a demon? What if it's something worse?"
"What can be worse than a demon?"
"And that's what Bobby's looking up"
"Well, what -can't- it be?" He asked,
"Vamps for one thing, they wouldn't go for hunters."
"Well. There was Gordon" Sam pointed out,
"Yeah, but he was a prick, he deserved it. He tried turning Dean against me and you, saying we weren't strong enough to be -real- hunters, according to him"
"What else can't it be?"
"Wendigo, they don't get hunters, they get anything. Um, werewolves, they go for anything, whatever this thing is, it's only targeting hunters and i don't know anything that does that"
"Well, like you said, Bobby's looking, he'll find something. Besides, we have Ash, so it'll be faster progress"
I nodded, then sighed, sitting back.
After a while, the bell rang and i walked with Luna,
"So, who's Joe?" Harry asked.
"Hmm?"
"You were talking to someone yesterday named Joe. Who is he?" Harry asked.
I looked at him and I noticed the fury in his eyes, "whoa, wait a minute. Did you just say 'he'?"
"Yeah, he, as in 'guy', like, oh, I don't know, you're boyfriend?"
"You seriously don't think I'm cheating on you, do you?"
"Well. You did say 'technically' and it sure as bloody hell sounded like you were trying to let him down easy"
"What are you talking-?!" I was asking when he cut me off,
"I'm over here, thinking you're the perfect girl for me and then i overhear you talking to some person named Jo, calling him Joey. I'm glad i didn't stick around longer, so i wouldn't hear what else you would've had to say to him"
"Well, you should've"
"Why?" He asked.
"Because, you would've heard me call -her- Joanna" i said. I didn't yell, i didn't scream, i said it calmly, but i wasn't calm. Oh no, I was -far- from calm.
"Wait, what?"
His cluelessness set me off and i blew, "-Jo- is a -girl- and she's my best friend, not some fling I'm having on the side! If you stuck around the whole time, you would've heard me tell Luna who she was, but no, you're just like every other guy who hears something and assumes the worst and that pisses me off! I trust you and if you listened you would've heard me tell her that i was scared for you and that i care too much for you to get hurt! Just because her name sounds like a guy's doesn't mean she's a guy! If it wasn't obvious, i only love -you-, no one else. I don't know why you can't see that. That's why it makes no sense that you would assume that I'm 'cheating' on you" i said, not even realizing what I said.
"Wait, Yo-you love me?" He asked,
My eyes widened, oh god, did i say that out loud? I sighed, "yes, I do, that's why I'm so scared for you, because i love you too much to let you into my dangerous life. If you didn't hear, hunters have been dropping dead lately and if hunters are doomed, then are so are regular people." I said.
Harry sighed, "You're right, I shouldn't have assumed anything of you. It was wrong of me" he apologized after a while.
I nodded, "damn straight you shouldn't have" I crossed my arms.
"I'm incredibly sorry, I shouldn't have listened in to your conversation or assumed the worst out of you" he added.
I kept silent, then as he turned to leave, I sighed and reached out to him, pulling him back by his arm.
"What are you-" he was asking when I cut him off, pulling him into a tight hug.
He sighed, wrapping his arms around me, hugging me back. "I'm sorry" he whispered again.
"It's okay, I forgive you" i told him, holding him close.
"If it helps any, I love you too" he said softly.
I pulled back, surprised, "you do?"
He nodded, "yeah, I've loved you ever since the day we met in Snape's class. Hate to admit, but i was glad i had him that class" he said.
I blushed deeply, smiling at him, then i pulled him in and kissed him sweetly.
He smiled, kissing back, tightening his arms around my waist.
I slowly pulled away, smiling more, then Cedric came up to us.
"Hello Harry" he spoke.
"Hello Cedric" Harry responded.
Cedric looked around, then leaned close to Harry, telling him something.
Harry pulled back after a while, "oh, okay, thank you Cedric"
Cedric nodded, then left.
"What did he say?" I asked as we walked, Harry taking my hand.
"Well, you know how I got that egg during the first task?" He asked
I nodded, "what about it?"
"Turns out i have to take a bath with the egg" he said.
I rose an eyebrow, "that's weird" I commented,
Harry nodded, "yeah, it is" he said, then we walked to our class. "Savannah, you wouldn't mind joining me, would you?" he asked a bit shyly.
I bit my lip, then nodded, "i wouldn't mind" i answered with a slight smirk.
"Great" He smiled, then we went to their seats.
