There are so many female dancers in Canopy Kingdom. Pearl was one of the best known dancers there is. Pearl was known as the popular combat dancer for her amazing motivational speaking work, but she does harbored a dark secret under her extravagant appearance. Secretly, Pearl spent all of her eternal life carrying an ancient parasite named Ma'at and used her powers to feed off strong negative emotions, she gains in her speaker work to make herself young and beautiful forever. Inside the Grauman's Ethiopia, many people were clapping and cheering for Pearl's latest performance. She has long black platted pigtails, blue eyes, dark skin, and blue star-shaped birthmark on her chest. She wore a white crop top, ultra white short shorts, and white boots with heels. She was employing a stylized bladed sword with the moves of combat in the form of seductive dance while being praised by the amusing crowd, who came for her outstanding performance.
After her dancing performance, Pearl's large feral feline servants drove their mistress to the towering skyscraper that pierces New Meridian's skyline known as the Medici Tower, where she was strangely summoned to meet with Lorenzo and Vitale Medici. Through the luxury elevator, Pearl stepped out and walked casually inside the room with fine luxury to see the Medicis waiting for her arrival.
"Greetings, Lorenzo." Pearl spoke calmly. "It's been long since the last time we've met."
"Welcome to our tower, Pearl." Vitale said. "I'll be speaking on my father's behalf tonight. I assume you heard about the latest Skullgirl already."
"Not really just like anyone else in this city." Pearl replied.
"Also, my business found about that scramp of yours." Vitale continued. "Just imagine if the public found out about you creeping on all your victim's negative emotions, Pearl."
"Wow, you finally have the right chance to blackmail me." Pearl said dryly. Her calm face slowly turned into a dead glare. "But I'm not that easily frightened. I was willing to leave your partners to their well-paid job, but I never imagined you would go this far to find out my other side."
"Well, we both have our secrets to protect." Vitale said. "That's when you come in."
"To hunt Skullgirl." Pearl said firmly. "Please. Don't waste my valuable time. Some of us have urgent business in their lives."
"Don't underestimate us." Vitale said sternly. "We know damn well what you're capable of. But of course, we wouldn't send you there alone."
That's when the youngest member of the Prower Six stepped in the office. She has orange bob-cut hair, blue eyes, and peach skin. She wore a long-sleeved orange crop top, bulky dark orange gloves, orange short-shorts, and dark orange boots. On her head was a brown living weapon goggle with orange lenses and long flat arms coming out from the sides with fingers that looked like five wrenches named Wolver.
"You can count on me for your assistance, Vitale." Topaz said.
"Topaz here will ensure that everything goes smoothly while accompanying you." Vitale said to Pearl.
"I'll do my best." Topaz said determinedly. "I also have the location of that treasure hunter for the prize."
"That's my kid genius." Vitale grinned. His eyes faced back to Pearl. "If you fail your mission, your precious secret is out."
"Kill her!" Lorenzo yelled outrageously from his desk. "Kill that child and bring me her heart! Do you hear me?"
Pearl's eyes widened in shock. She pictured the time where Lorenzo was youthful and powerful, but now she's staring at him as a decrepit old man.
"Oh my, Lorenzo." Pearl grinned with a hint of cruelty in her voice. "You're now weak and pathetic. Even a zombie can look so terribly desperate."
"You want to see desperate?" Lorenzo yelled. "I rip out your skin and see if it's more useful to me than you are!"
"You should hurry on out of here before it comes to that." Black Dahlia remarked as she stood next to Lorenzo.
Outside, Anuket and Serqet stood in front of the limo as they waited for their mistress to walk out of the tower. Pearl and Topaz both took their leave out of the tower to meet the feline women, whose eyes glued right at the kid genius.
"You mean to tell us the Medici send this shorty to join us on a quest for the Skullgirl?" Serqet questioned with a smirk. "You gotta be kidding me!"
"The kid will be seeing red by the time the Skullgirl done with her." Anuket said calmly.
"Look, Vitale send me out of my lab for the job. So, you two need to deal with it!" Topaz snapped.
"Hm, your Living Weapon. It is the source of your scientific and mechanical techniques channeling straight into that intelligence of yours." Pearl said with a grin as she stared at the Wolver on Topaz's head. "A talented gift that was truly valuable to your worthless loyalty to the Medicis."
"If you're trying to compare me to you and your Parasite, then 'don't'." Topaz said with a threatening tone.
"Know your place, child." Pearl said firmly. "I only want to get this worthless job over with."
"There's no need to worry about that, Pearl." Anuket said with a grin. "I believe we have found our first lead."
"You got that right." Serqet snarled. "I've got the scent of the grave heading this way."
"Let's get this business started." Pearl said.
Pearl, Topaz, and Anuket followed Serqet to track the scent of death that led them to an undead teenaged girl, who was running as if she was escaping from someone. She has long curly pink hair in thick ringlets, yellow eyes, and light pink skin. She wore a pink top with a white and gold bodice along with a dark pink sarong and white petticoat, and dark pink high heeled shoes with dark gray soles. She also has a golden hoop earring on her right ear. On the girl's neck was a parasitic cloak.
"That kunoichi sure knows how to fight that Living Weapon of hers." Quartz said as she took a few deep breaths from running. "But we escaped and that's all what matters."
"Well, she's the least of out worries, that's for sure." Kinzo said calmly.
"So, not all the dead are under the Skullgirl's control." Pearl spoke as she took few steps forward to Quartz.
"Uh, what are you doing?" Topaz asked. "We can't waste time here."
Quartz's eyes widened wide in surprise as she recognized Pearl through her striking appearance.
"Wait a minute! You're Pearl! I'm a huge fan of your combat dancing and you still look as beautiful as ever!" Quartz squealed.
"That's very kind of you, sweetie. Your family were very entertaining." Pearl said with a pleasant smile.
Suddenly, Pearl's blue star-shaped birthmark began radiating brightly and her entire body started to change into a parasitic being. Her entire skin became icy blue with a luminous, iridescent glow. She has long dark purple hair, two slanted glowing purple eyes, and a white star-shaped birthmark on her chest.
"But I'm sure your parasite friend remembers me all too well." Ma'at hissed with a dark voice.
"Ma'at?!" Kinzo gasped sharply.
"What the heck are you doing?" Topaz hissed at Ma'at as she watched the skin parasite returning back to her human host. "You can't just blow your cover like that!"
"Oh, I won't worry about that." Pearl assured in a collected tone. Her eyes went back to Kinzo. "Kinzo, I know you and Ma'at have your differences in the past, but pledge your allegiance to us and together we will show the world how powerful we really are."
"Or do you rather be a ragged cloak on this poor girl's neck?" Ma'at spat as her face rose out from Pearl's skin.
"I'll pass. I have my duty to protect those I care about." Kinzo said with a glare. "I don't know what you had in mind, but you will be stopped!"
"Looks like someone's willing to stand in our way." Anuket said. "I love to see the beauty of that."
"How delightful." Serqet spat. "Just try and stop us, cloak!"
"Kinzo, who are we up against?" Quartz asked.
"The ice-drenched idol was known as the Snow Diva long ago." Kinzo replied firmly. "The rest of them are sorry amateurs."
"Amateur?!" Topaz exclaimed angrily.
"That glorious title brought out so many fear and intimidation through my veins." Pearl said with a calm grin. Her eyes slowly turned blue and her voice became malicious as if her tone was joined with Ma'at's voice. "Now, let's see if your host is worthy for our own strength, Kinzo."
[Pearl VS Quartz]
"You will never be a match for us!" Kinzo snarled as Quartz pulled down her hood and got into her fighting stance.
"The heart and soul are meaningless to me, Kinzo. Now join me or die beneath my feet." Pearl said as she got off from her servants' shoulders and got into her fighting stance after Serqet and Anuket leapt out of sight.
Pearl charged her hand with ice power and surrounded herself with the ice energy while spiraling herself through the air towards Quartz as a torpedo multiple times. Quartz jumped high into the air to perform a horizontal spin while Kinzo was enveloping her host in the flame at high speeds into the snow diva. Before Pearl could get back up, Quartz summoned many small flaming rings that encircled her body and began to fire them one-by-one in her gypsy dancing moves that damaged Pearl in the process. Pearl then jumped in the air and formed ten large icy blue ball of ice energy to launch them at Quartz with a snap of her finger. Kinzo covered her host's legs for Quartz to attack Pearl in a drill-like manner and Quartz spun herself around for Kinzo to create a fiery tornado to erupt a geyser burst of flames at the snow diva, knocking Pearl a few inches away from her. Pearl raised her hands in the air and slammed them to create ten pillars of ice erupting from the ground in front of her to hit Quartz. Kinzo summoned flames to envelop her host into a highly destructive large fireball for Quartz to launch herself forward at increased speed to run into the snow diva. Pearl then levitated slightly and drove her left fist straight into the undead zombie's stomach to release a large ice energy explosion. Quartz performed five spinning kicks aimed at Pearl's face that launched her into the air, allowing Kinzo to grab the snow diva in midair with her giant flaming cloak hands and Quartz dove Pearl into the ground with a grateful styled backflip that hit her back to the ground. Pearl then threw several crescent-shaped waves of ice energy with a quick arm motion before firing a volley of icy shards at the undead zombie in every direction that hit her directly and knocked her out from the fight.
"Impossible..." Quartz said, passing out to the ground in defeat.
"Don't try to stand. There is nothing more you can do." Pearl grinned calmly as she flung her hair upward that send out a light icy cold breeze and released a calm, victorious grin on Quartz.

Pearl looked over at Quartz and stood over to see her trying to get up from the ground in pain.
"You failed to see the opportunity, Kinzo. You and your dead weight along with your new fancy tricks are no match for my ultimate power." Pearl said calmly.
"She's...too strong...for us, Kinzo." Quartz said weakly to Kinzo.
"I know, Quartz." Kinzo agreed. "But for now, we must retreat immediately."
"There's no escape from us, zombie girl!" Serqet snarled.
Serqet dashed forward and delivered a fast straight punch at Quartz, who swifty dodged out of the way and conjured her flames to propel herself far away from Serqet before she could strike again.
"Damn, she got away!" Serqet said.
"I have to admit for a zombie she's pretty fast." Anuket said.
"Kinzo will regret the day she wouldn't fully understand my purpose to this world." Pearl said. "Although she has gained some skills that I've never seen before."
"Can we please try to stay focus on our mission here?" Topaz asked impatiently.
"I can assure you that interaction was strictly professional." Pearl reassured.
"Just understand that your drama doesn't concern me, okay?" Topaz said with a glare.
"Don't worry. It won't be a bother once I teach you some manners." Anuket said with a threatening tone.
"Don't mind her attitude, Anuket." Pearl said calmly. "The child agent have been quite entertaining. Serqet, start the car! The strong feelings of anger should be perfect to fuel my supreme energy."
"Yes, mistress." Serqet said with a nod.
Arriving in a daytime seaside Dagonian-populated section of New Meridian, Pearl started to look around the town of Little Innsmouth. She could see a small but bustling residential and business district by the coast accented by bold, clashing colors and chimney pots resembling coral. All of the buildings are connected by an extensive network of wooden decks, walkways and stairs, with strings of jellyfish lanterns hanging overhead. A tram runs between the areas above and below sea level throughout the day, when the tide is low. This is also when the lowest level is exposed: the walls are covered in graffiti, the ground littered with trash bags thrown from above, and everything is tinted green from algae. Pearl, Topaz, Serqet, and Anuket looked around the area.
"Man, what an extraordinary environment!" Topaz breathed. "I highly doubt that we find the Skullgirl here."
"Whoever contains the amazing engine of anger should even bow before my might." Pearl said with a grin.
"Well, coming from that Dagonian restaurant over there, fish is the only thing I'm smelling." Topaz said.
That's when Pearl, Topaz, Serqet, and Anuket spotted that trail of anger led to a teenaged girl up ahead. She has a long red hair pulled into a long ponytail, violet eyes, and wore a red top with a white crescent moon on it and a dark red sleeveless jean vest, dark red leather leggings, dark red boots, and black leather gloves with pointed knuckles. On her arms and face were curved bright green lined tattoos.
"This town is filled with fish, shorty." Ruby said as she crossed her arms over her chest. "So get used to it."
"Wait a minute! You're the treasure hunter Vitale wants!" Topaz exclaimed. "Hand over the Master Shard you stole or else!"
"Don't even try to threaten me, shorty!" Ruby snickered. "I am one with the Master Shard, not the Medicis."
"Master Shard...? Oh dear!" Pearl said with a giggle. "You mean to tell me that decrepit old fool Lorenzo lost that precious jewel to this treasure hunter? How pathetic. Bestow your marvelous anger upon me and I may let you live."
"Not gonna happen, lady." Ruby snapped. "It looks like you and your Medici brat will have to take your chances with me and my fists!"

"Time for a knuckles sandwich." Ruby snarled as she cracked her knuckles hard twice and got into her fighting stance.
"Your anger will feed my ultimate power." Pearl challenged as she got off from her servants' shoulders and got into her fighting stance after Serqet and Anuket leapt out of sight.
Ruby proceeded to throw a powerful flaming forward punch with her right fist multiple times at Pearl, who blocked the attack in an instant. Pearl channeled her ice energies into the ground and released a series of powerful icy blue energy columns that knocked Ruby away from her with great force. Ruby then performed a flaming powerful punch that caused friction with the air to create a small explosion at the snow diva. Pearl fired large shards of ice at the treasure hunter from her palms in rapid speed while spinning her body as a fast tornado. Ruby jumped high in the air and then whirled directly down through the air with both of her fire-powered fists pointing downward and came spinning down like a drill to attack the snow diva in contact below. Pearl created large shards of ice that erupt underneath Ruby from the ground in a zigzag motion. Ruby jumped into the air while charging up fire energy at full power and then punched into the ground with her fists to create a large column of red energy made of bursts of fire and minor exploding shockwaves in a wide red field to surround the combatant fighter, who was moving around to attack Pearl in the process. Pearl got back up and released Ma'at from her body for the skin parasite to unleash large luminous blue crescent-shaped wave from her claws at the treasure hunter multiple times into her more fearsome form to her victory.
"But...the Master Shard...!" Ruby said, passing out to the ground in defeat.
"Ha! You don't look so tough." Ma'at chuckled as she flipped her hair in a vain manner and looked at Ruby with a cold-hearted grin.

Pearl, Topaz, Serqet, and Anuket watched Ruby struggling to get on her feet from the ground as she was feeling great pain though her body.
"I guess...I didn't use all...my strength." Ruby groaned painfully.
"Ladies, we're taking the girl with us." Pearl giggled sinisterly. Her eyes slowly turned blue and her malicious tone was joined with Ma'at's voice. "She's valuable to me now."
Anuket lifted Ruby's arms with her long tail and tossed her into the back of the limo as Serqet slammed the back door shut, leaving Ruby struggling to break free.
Later on, Serqet and Anuket drove the limo through the streets of New Meridian. Topaz was chatting with the snow diva about the great success on capturing Ruby for the Medicis.
"Looks like the mission was successful, but I need to know how am I going to extract the shard out of her." Topaz wondered.
"Your boss is not worthy of the Master Shard." Pearl said. "And the Medicis have some nerve to claim the treasure. What foolishness."
"What are you trying to say anyway?" Topaz questioned firmly. "You're suddenly an expert on the Medici now?"
"Since I've wasted my valuable time in that wretched tower." Pearl said. She looked at the window. "Oh look, we're finally here."
After getting out of the limo, Topaz followed Pearl, Serqet, and Anuket to the extravagant building. She walked inside to view the place as a freezing water and ice themed area. The thin ring of ice with several ice crystals were shining brightly from the floor, the wall, and the ceiling while the freezing water appears to be streaming warm despite the freezing cold temperature.
"Nice place, but why are we here?" Topaz asked.
"You thought that Master Shard could make that weak fool Lorenzo all high and mighty?" Pearl asked with a calm look on her face. "I have my own plans with the treasure hunter."
"I figure you must double crossed them, but you're not the only one." Topaz said with a glare.
"Now, that's surprising." Pearl smirked. "The Medici has a secret spy that not even they were aware of. Go ahead. Just try and stop me."
"I'll be delighted!" Topaz shouted boldly.
"Let's dance." Pearl declared as her eyes slowly turned blue and her malicious tone was joined with Ma'at's voice.

"Time to fly some circles out of you!" Topaz said as she placed her living goggle down on her face with a grin and got into her fighting stance.
"You are nothing but a worthless wrench for the Medicis." Pearl said as she got off from her servants' shoulders and got into her fighting stance after Serqet and Anuket leapt out of sight.
"Time to get wild!" Ma'at shouted confidently.
Pearl charged forward to attack first, but Topaz threw a batch of explosive energy orange discs at the snow diva while while Wolver rotated his arms as propellers to fly high in the air. Pearl enveloped her hands with ice and then surrounded herself with ice energy to spiral through the air towards Topaz in a rapid torpedo fashion. Pearl and Topaz kept lightning speed blows, but Pearl had a bad time dodging as she wasn't able to keep up blocking Topaz's attacks even with the help of her parasite. Pearl then levitated slightly and drove her left fist straight into the kid genius's stomach to release a large ice energy explosion. Topaz got back on her feet and Wolver punching rapidly at Pearl multiple times in a nick of speed as Topaz swiftly threw a batch of explosive orange energy discs that hit the snow diva to the ground. Pearl swiftly channeled her ice energies into the ground and released a series of powerful icy blue energy columns that knocked Topaz away from her with great force. Wolver fiercely slammed his fist at Pearl on the ground when Topaz performed a full split with her legs. After that, Topaz quickly crouched low on the ground with Wolver aiming his arms at the snow diva and fired a hail of wrench-like missiles directly at her. Pearl got up and formed a pair of icy blue bat wings to fire a hail of icy missiles at Topaz. Wolver began using his arms as propellers to let the kid genius flying through the air towards the snow diva and Topaz unleashed two large beams of orange energy to the plasma warrior from Wolver's lenses. Pearl then released Ma'at from her body for the skin parasite to unleash large luminous blue crescent-shaped wave from her claws at the undead zombie multiple times into her more fearsome form to her voice.
"You'll...pay...for this..." Topaz said, passing out to the ground in defeat.
"Foolish child, this Medici Tower shall be the funeral of your grave." Ma'at chuckled as she flipped her hair in a vain manner and looked at Topaz with a cold-hearted grin.

Ma'at pinned Topaz and Wolver to the wall by several luminous blue claws coming from Pearl's back as she was ready to finish her off.
"You may have beaten me, but face against the entire Medici family is only one thing that you cannot beat!" Topaz shouted. "They will know your betrayal once you get the Skull Heart from the Skullgirl."
"Those pathetic Medicis cannot stop me even if they try." Pearl said with a sinister smile. "Your life ends now."
With that, Pearl thrusted one of her luminous blue claws forward to Topaz's brain, sucking out all of her negative emotions through her skin. Then, Pearl dropped the dead Topaz to the ground.
"Well, there's no need to worry about her." Anuket said to Pearl. "Spy or not, she no longer have a future with the Medicis."
"Ladies, it's time to find the Skullgirl." Pearl assured as her eyes slowly turned blue and her malicious tone was joined with Ma'at's voice. "There's only one woman who can rule the planet through fear and intimidation."
After being victorious at her battle with the other fighters in her travel, Pearl finally arrived at the Grand Cathedral. She observed the hallowed building that serves as a place for the citizens of Canopy Kingdom to worship The Trinity. She quietly opened the doors and was amazed by the place resembling a traditional Catholic church with white marble walls, large stained glass windows, ornate frescoes, and a large imposingly statue. Eventually, Pearl realized that the Grand Cathedral was actually the headquarters for the Skullgirl herself. But she was only paying attention to the scent of negative emotion around her.
"All this essence of pain and anger in this place is making me stronger by the second." Pearl said. "I can feel it."
"This place makes me feel so cozy all of the sudden." Anuket smirked. "I don't know why though."
"Sometimes, you two are hard to understand in time of need." Serqet sighed heavily as she rolled her eyes.
Pearl, Serqet, and Anuket detected a school athletic star have entered inside the church through the doors. She has blue short spiky hair, green eyes, and peach skin. She wore a dark blue tank-top with azure denim open vest, azure skin-tight shorts with white trim, and blue knee-high boots. Around her neck was a navy blue scarf that has five claw-like blades crossing over her neck.
"Hello." Sapphire called out.
"I find it almost entertaining for a schoolgirl coming here for confessions." Pearl said with a calm smile.
"It's you. The Snow witch." Zephyr snarled with a glare. "So Kinzo was right all along. I don't know how are you not dead after all these years, but you deserve to be perish."
"Greetings, Zephyr." Pearl said. "Even after all of those years ago, I hope you were more understandable than Kinzo."
"Let's show the world who we are before as gods." Ma'at said darkly as her luminous blue face rose out from Pearl's skin neck.
"You're insane, Ma'at." Zephyr snapped. "You and Sekmet are the whole reason why the entire world hate us in the first place."
"What a shame." Pearl said.
"You have chosen to stay with a child instead allying with a remarkable dictator." Ma'at said.
"Zephyr, who the heck is this woman?" Sapphire asked her parasite.
"This woman was the destructive entity to the entire world and now she's here to claim the Skull Heart for her own intention." Zephyr responded.
"Humankind have called us Parasites instead of understanding power." Pearl explained. "I just wanted to reclaim our status once more, Zephyr."
"Can't you even realize that the whole reason things only turned that way because of your megalomaniac crap?" Zephyr yelled. "And the reason for Chloris's death! Your ruthlessness will end right now!"
"Let's stop her, Zephyr!" Sapphire said.
"You have to get through us, sweetie." Anuket hissed.
"Don't close an inch close to Madame Pearl." Serqet hissed.
"Very well then." Pearl said. Her eyes slowly turned blue and her malicious tone was joined with Ma'at's voice. "Let's begin the challenge between us as host."

"Time to break the ice." Sapphire remarked as she breakdanced with a cocky smile and got into her fighting stance.
"You cannot fight our destiny, Zephyr." Pearl shouted as she got off from her servants' shoulders and got into her fighting stance after Serqet and Anuket leapt out of sight.
Pearl made the first move and raised her hands in the air and slammed them to create ten pillars of ice erupting from the ground in front of her to hit Sapphire. Pearl then charged her hand with ice power and surrounded herself with the ice energy while spiraling herself through the air towards Sapphire as a torpedo multiple times. Sapphire delivered a powerful spinning double kick to the snow diva and attacked Pearl with a small cyclone made of sharp, sky blue winds that wrapped her around to ensnare her for a massive damage. Before Pearl could get up and fight, Sapphire moved forward at lightning speed as a living beam of wind energy with enough force to attack the snow diva with Zephyr releasing several crunch-cross-slashes with both of his claw blades. That's when Pearl jumped back up and wasn't done just yet. Pearl fired large shards of ice at the track star from her palms in rapid speed while spinning her body as a fast tornado. Pearl then released Ma'at from her body for the skin parasite to attack Sapphire on her own by pinning the track star in two large chains made of ice from the ground and slashed her repeatedly before delivering a final lashing slash to Sapphire's face that lead to her victory.
"No...way..." Sapphire said, falling down on the ground in defeat.
"You...monster...!" Zephyr groaned.
"Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Ma'at laughed sinisterly as she flipped her hair in a vain manner and looked at Sapphire with a cold-hearted grin.

After defeating Sapphire and Zephyr, Pearl glanced down to watch Sapphire getting up slowly from the ground in her weak state.
"This is truly sad, even for you, Zephyr." Pearl said with a grin. "But I'm impressed that the girl has the exact same extreme speed and strength like Chloris. Oh well, duty dalls. We'll meet again soon, Zephyr."
"Wait...stop right...there!" Sapphire moaned as she watched Pearl, Serqet, and Anuket walking away past her straight into the catacombs.
"No, Sapphire." Zephyr whispered. "We gotta find Quartz and Kinzo for a backup plan. At least, we have more time in our hands."
"Who was Chloris, Zephyr?" Sapphire asked as she got up from the ground and took deep breaths from the fight.
"She was the most beautiful, kind-hearted woman in her way as a great warrior." Zephyr responded with a heavy sigh. "We fought against the past Skullgirl and the Skull Heart years ago. She was everything to me until one day the increased hostility towards Parasites and their hosts had made Pearl was responsible for her death."
"She sounds like a brave woman." Sapphire grinned. "Dead or alive, I'm sure she's very proud of you."
"Of course." Zephyr smiled.
Inside the catacombs, Pearl and her feline crew glanced around the broken ruins of the place and they saw a bizarre blue light coming from the teenage silver-haired girl, who was sitting on the throne made of bones with a large field of skulls around her as if she was patiently waiting for them. She had silvery-gray hair with skulls on her ponytails, bloody red eyes that has the outline of a semi skull in both pupils, and wore a black maid outfit with a blue light hanging on her back. Marie stared calmly at Pearl, Serqet, and Anuket once they walked in the middle of the room.
"This feeling of anger and rage is extremely remarkable." Pearl said with a sinister smile. "Something I can really sink my teeth into."
"This place is really creeping me out." Serqet said.
"You can say that again, Serqet." Anuket said with a nod.
"Either way, I would love to thank the Medicis for sending me on this journey." Pearl said.
"You work for Lorenzo Medici?" Marie asked calmly.
"Well, not anymore." Pearl replied. "All I care about is to perish your existence and claim the Skull Heart all to myself."
"This chamber is lined with the corpses of Medici scum." Marie said. She then raised her arms apart with a demonic look on her face. "I'll be more than welcome to include you."
As Marie lifted her hands in the air, the loud sound of lightning and thunder bolted around the catacombs. Pearl, Serqet, and Anuket looked around to find the catacombs transform into a skeletal battlefield. Several fragments of broken Trinity statues loomed overhead as a full moon shone down onto the arena and the entire ground was formed into thick, bright blue strands with skulls laced into them with several skulls were littering at the ground. Marie's eyes are now glowing bright red with a skull on her pupils as she began hovering in mid-air.
[Pearl VS Marie]
"I'll suck the life out of you." Marie said, lifting her arms to bring forth giant skulls to protect around her in battle.
"Now, face the mighty Pearl." Pearl said as she got off from her servants' shoulders and got into her fighting stance after Serqet and Anuket leapt out of sight.
Marie summoned a pile of skeletons from the ground to grapple Pearl's feet with slight scratch damage before tossing her across the field. Pearl acrobatically got back up and charged towards the Skullgirl, but Marie created a skeleton between her and the snow diva from the ground that exploded Pearl in front of her face. Pearl then raised her hands in the air and slammed them to create ten pillars of ice erupting from the ground in front of her to hit Marie, but that attack was blocked by her giant skulls that surrounded her. Pearl jumped in the air with a snap of her finger and formed ten large icy blue ball of ice energy to launch them at the Skullgirl, who kept blocking the attack with the giant skulls. Marie spewed out an endless array of skulls that are constantly flying directly towards Pearl, who was dodging and getting hit at the same time. Pearl charged her hand with ice power and surrounded herself with the ice energy while spiraling herself through the air towards the Skullgirl as a torpedo multiple times. Marie send a cluster of skulls towards the snow diva at a horizontal angle and Pearl then fired large shards of ice at the Skullgirl from her palms in rapid speed while spinning her body as a fast tornado. Marie began to lower herself down to the ground in blue smoke and transformed into her second form. The Skullgirl was now floating in the air with a blue-veined figure created by the Skull Heart floating right behind her. Marie pointed her finger at Pearl that send the shadow sinking down into the ground until it came back up to attack the snow diva with a strong uppercut from underneath. Pearl created large shards of ice that erupt underneath the Skullgirl from the ground in a zigzag motion. The shadow had randomly disappeared from Marie and rushed out to attack Pearl from behind before doing it again from the front. Pearl swirled her hands around in front of herself to generate a miniature ice sphere and released a gigantic tornado out of the icy sphere that draws the foe into the Skullgirl. Pearl and Marie kept attacking each other in fast speed as they kept blocking each other's attacks, but Pearl got the advantage to channel her ice energies into the ground and released a series of powerful icy blue energy columns that knocked Marie away from her with great force. In her weaken state, Marie managed to glare at Pearl for a minute and then transformed into her final form as she was exploded in a blue smoke explosion. The Skullgirl was now a merely bone organism surrounding the Skull Heart as if the skeletal artifact was now the only thing keeping her together, but Pearl knew that the Skull Heart must be attacked to hurt Marie. Pearl began to charge forward, but Marie spew out an endless array of skulls to fly towards the undead zombie. Then, Marie summoned the shadow to fly upward and came back down to stomp onto Pearl from above. Pearl knew the exact move to beat the Skullgirl for good. Pearl charged forward on the Skullgirl and released Ma'at from her body for the skin parasite to attack Marie on her own by thrusting upward spinning in a corkscrew manner with her feet leading above and blew out an icy blue heart-shaped kiss towards the opponent Skullgirl that damaged Marie in a huge explosion. Marie fell to the ground with a painful scream and the Skull Heart was only hovering in the air.
"Now we know who the deadly one is around here." Ma'at smirked as she flipped her hair in a vain manner and looked at the Skull Heart with a cold-hearted grin.

Marie began to fade out of the world, leaving Pearl and her feline crew alone together in the catacombs. Pearl then moved straight to the Skull Heart to continue her dark agenda.
"Well, sucking the Skullgirl's anger and rage was better than nothing." Pearl muttered as her eyes turned blue and her malicious tone was joined with Ma'at's voice. "You should have chosen a better host than that, Skull Heart."
"I've...found...you...!" The Skull Heart spoke at its own will.
"What?" Pearl breathed surprisingly.
"The...Snow...Witch..." The Skull Heart said slowly.
Suddenly, the right side of Pearl's face got unsuspectingly severed out of nowhere.
"Mistress! Are you okay?!" Serqet called as she and Anuket ran over to help Pearl.
Pearl, Serqet, and Anuket looked at the source of the attack. It was Double! The infuriated nun was consumed with rage in her distorted humanoid form.
"Betrayer!" Double yelled. "You alone shall never be forgiven!"
"Keep that creature away from Pearl!" Anuket cried to Serqet.
"Who...is that monster...?!" Pearl muttered as she touched her face with her hand.
"It was you...You and the Crimson Scourge killed them...!" Double hollered as two blood tearing girls appeared on her chest. "Aeon. Venus. You two murdered my daughters and destroyed my kingdom!"
"Queen Lamia!" Pearl gasped weakly. "That creature must have carry her deep grudge on me. I need to get my full strength. But how?"
Just then, Pearl noticed that the blood from her face was dripping down to the glowing bony ground that led all the way down to the underground. Her eyes slowly widened wide and saw a perfect opportunity to regain her full strength.
"Magnificent." Pearl said with a dark smile. "Let's go, ladies!"
Pearl formed a pair of icy blue bat wings and dove down to the underground as Serqet and Anuket immediately dove down to follow without question.
"NO!" Double screamed.
Double chased down after the snow diva and her feline servants through the opening hole.
Arriving in a barren underground wasteland, Pearl and her feline crew landed on her feet on the ground. They looked around the brim area filled with teeth, eyes, veins, and other organic materials. The tall columns, statues, and other broken debris are over around an old civilization that used to live in the area with a large pool of blood flowing below a glimmer of light shining the reddish area from above. Pearl spread her arms wide open to feed on all of Gehenna's negativity that made her more powerful than ever just the exact time Double had arrived in front of her.
"I've never felt so alive in my entire life." Pearl said with a satisfying smile. She then turned around to face Double. "You should know your place, you pitiful blob. Even the Trinity should bow before my might."
"The only mistake you ever done is step upon into my world." Double snapped. "You shall pay for your crimes, Snow Witch!"
"Face the neverending nightmare!" Pearl said with a sinister grin as her eyes slowly turned blue and her malicious tone was joined with Ma'at's voice.
[Pearl VS Double]
"Lamia shall be avenged!" Double hollered as she opened her frighteningly red eyes and opened her mouth impossibly wide to transform back into a grotesque monster of distorted flesh and teeth with a crown-like object on her head.
"My ultimate power will annihilate you and your beloved masters." Pearl shouted as she got off from her servants' shoulders and got into her fighting stance after Serqet and Anuket leapt out of sight.
Double transformed into Parasoul and began firing bullets from her Luger pistol at Pearl, who were dodging each bullet coming in her way. Pearl charged her hand with ice power and surrounded herself with the ice energy while spiraling herself through the air towards Double as a torpedo multiple times. Double went forward to attack Pearl by shapeshifting into a huge, demonic hand with a mouth to grab the snow diva with the tongue that contains three hands and crushed her before spitting her out to the ground. Double then began to attack Pearl again by shapeshifting into Emerald to hit the snow diva with a laser beam from her fingers and and then transformed into Topaz to summon a buzz-saw attack from Wolver with a downward drill move that send Pearl crashing hard to the ground. Pearl got up as she charged forward to attack Double once more. They kept on attacking and blocking moves from each other. Pearl then levitated slightly and drove her left fist straight into the shapeshifting monster's stomach to release a large ice energy explosion. Pearl swiftly moved behind Double and formed ten large icy blue ball of ice energy to launch them at the shapeshifting monster with a snap of her finger. Double shapeshifted into a large puddle on the ground and then transformed into a giant monster's head to devour the snow diva before spitting her out. Then, Double transformed into a charged up Ruby and summoned a swarm of red energized dual-blades out of nowhere in a boomerang effect to attack Pearl, leaving the shapeshifting monster to transform into Emerald and fired a highly powerful green energy wave from her blaster. Pearl slowly got up after the dual-blades were gone, but she wasn't ready to call it quits yet. Pearl raised her hands in the air and slammed them to create ten pillars of ice erupting from the ground in front of her to hit Double before firing large shards of ice at the shapeshifting monster from her palms in rapid speed while spinning her body as a fast tornado. Double rose back up from the ground and then shapeshifted into one of Emerald's friends Nirvana to relentlessly knocked the snow diva around the battlefield with a series of powerful blows in a different form by transforming into Sapphire, Opal, Garnet, Topaz, Umbrella, Emerald, Ruby, Minerva, Aquamarine, a spring, Black Dahlia, Quartz, and lastly Mrs. Victoria. Double then transformed into a massive Easter Island moai and bombarded Pearl with energy rings and walking bombs. Pearl recovered with her Parasite bursting out of her body. Ma'at somersaulted forward while whipping her legs around Double multiple times in rapid speed and then backflipped her into the air as she then plunged her left claw into Double's back and leaped upwards with the shapeshifting monster with a vertical slash. That attack hit Double, who went crashing down hard to the ground that finally defeated the shapeshifting monster.
"My...revenge..." Double said, passing out to the ground in defeat.
"And to think I came here to see your full power. Pathetic!" Ma'at laughed sinisterly as she flipped her hair in a vain manner and looked at Double with a cold-hearted grin.
[Pearl Wins]
Pearl stared at Double slithering up from the ground while looking all red and battered.
"Face it, Lamia." Pearl said with a grin. "Just like your precious daughters, you will tremble down before me."
Pearl formed a pair of icy blue bat wings on her back as Serqet and Anuket climbed onto the wings on either side. She flew out of the creepy area and headed straight to the Skull Heart at fast speed.
"It would seem that only having the Skull Heart fueled by a Trinity grudge isn't good enough for my expectations." Pearl said. "So, it no longer pleases me."
"Don't think this is over." The Skull Heart stated. "There will always be the Skullgirl out there to finish you!"
"And I will love to see you try when you are done existing in my presence!" Pearl cried.
Pearl transformed her left arm into her icy blue claw and swiftly slashed the Skull Heart in fast speed, destroying the artifact in the process. Pearl escaped through the exit with her crew safety out of the Grand Cathedral.
With the Skull Heart destroyed, Pearl and her feline crew went back to their extravagant place. Pearl was relaxing herself in freezing water pool while wearing a white one-piece swimsuit as she began plotting on her future plans.
"If the Medici found out that I don't have the Skull Heart, they will come after me for sure." Pearl muttered as she took a sip of her white wine. "But I could always use that treasure hunter to bring Lorenzo out of his wretched tower."
Suddenly, Quartz and Sapphire along with their parasites came bursting through the entrance doors.
"Time to take you down once and for all, Pearl!" Zephyr cried.
"There's no way you can escape from us!" Kinzo hollered.
"I'm surprised you two made it this far to show up." Pearl said with an unimpressed face. "But you will regret the day you decided to confront me for round two."
"Quit wasting our time!" Sapphire snapped boldly. "We won't let you get away with this!"
"We'll put an end to your schemes right now!" Quartz shouted determinedly.
"Very well then." Pearl said with a shrug. Her eyes slowly turned blue and her malicious tone was joined with Ma'at's voice. "Show me your power. All of it! Don't hold nothing back."
[Pearl VS Sapphire and Quartz]
"Looks like the party's getting started! Time to rock and roll!" Sapphire declared as she breakdanced with a cocky smile and got into her fighting stance.
"Come here and take your punishment." Pearl shouted as she got off from her servants' shoulders and got into her fighting stance after Serqet and Anuket leapt out of sight.
Pearl jumped in the air and formed ten large icy blue ball of ice energy to launch them at Sapphire with a snap of her finger. Pearl then charged her hand with ice power and surrounded herself with the ice energy while spiraling herself through the air towards the speedster as a torpedo multiple times. Sapphire then jumped back up and delivered a powerful spinning double kick to the snow diva and attacked Pearl with a small cyclone made of sharp, sky blue winds that wrapped her around to ensnare her for a massive damage. Before Pearl could get up and fight, Kinzo unleashed mulitple wild slashes from his blades while Sapphire was breakdancing coolly that ended with a one final slash. That's when Pearl jumped back up and wasn't done just yet. Pearl created large shards of ice that erupt underneath Sapphire from the ground in a zigzag motion. Pearl then released Ma'at from her body for the parasite to unleash large luminous blue crescent-shaped wave from her claws at the treasure hunter multiple times into her more fearsome form that lead to her victory. After Sapphire and Zephyr laid down on the floor in defeat, Pearl was prepared to fight Quartz, who jumped high into the air to perform a horizontal spin while Kinzo was enveloping her host in the flame into the snow diva at high speeds. Pearl fired a volley of icy shards at Quartz in every direction, but Kinzo then summoned flames to envelop her host into a highly destructive large fireball for the undead zombie to launch herself forward at increased speed to run into the snow diva. Kinzo then covered her host's legs for Quartz to attack Pearl in a drill-like manner and Quartz spun herself around for Kinzo to create a fiery tornado to erupt a geyser burst of flames at the snow diva. Pearl then channeled her ice energies into the ground and released a series of powerful icy blue energy columns that knocked Quartz away from her with great force. Quartz summoned several small flaming rings that encircled her body and send all the them hovering around Pearl to point towards her, firing down at the snow diva one-by-one when Quartz turned away and snapped her fingers. As Pearl then released Ma'at from her body, Ma'at created a icy blue crescent-shaped wave from her claws that hit Quartz and then repeatedly slashed her before delivering a final powerful slash to the undead zombie to her defeat.
"We can't... let her..." Quartz said, falling down on the ground in defeat.
"You're just too delicate, sweetie." Ma'at chuckled as she flipped her hair in a vain manner and looked at Quartz with a cold-hearted grin.
[Pearl Wins]
Pearl grinned sinisterly at Sapphire and Quartz, who were struggling to get up to their feet from their defeat.
"No! Quartz!" Sapphire shouted to Quartz.
"Kinzo...Sapphire...I can't..." Quartz muttered.
Quartz then fell back into death with the loss of the Skull Heart that was destroyed by Pearl.
"Ha! What weakness." Pearl said with a calm grin. "My Parasite knows no limits. Serqet, take care of Quartz. Anuket, you handle Sapphire. They have failed to prove their strength yet again."
Serqet and Anuket obeyed their mistress as they walked over to the defeated Sapphire and Quartz. Serqet picked up Quartz and locked the undead dancer and her Parasite in a room. Anuket secured Sapphire and Zephyr together in tight chains as she placed them next to the chained Ruby, who was wearing a red bikini top with white straps crisscross over her chest and white puffed pants over red tights that have the feet cut off with a dark red belt.
"Quartz will eventually be reawaken when the Skull Heart resurfaces into the world again, but I can always use Sapphire as a suitable punching bag for my boredom." Pearl said with a dark smile as she sat on her smooth white throne chair. "Now that the Skull Heart clearly has nothing for me to possess, I can finally rule the world with an iron fist. Serqet, Anuket, watch the place. I'm going out on my own tonight."
"Yes, mistress." Serqet and Anuket nodded with a respectful bow.
Pearl stood up from her throne chair and slowly merged herself with all of the negative emotions she has collected over her life to create a massive feminine figure. She has icy blue skin, spiky, dark blue-black hair kept in an untamed style, bright blue with star shaped pupils, and plump lips. She wore a ripped, dark blue skintight bodysuit with white star shoulder pads. Pearl slowly started approaching straight for the Medici Tower, so she can destroy the Medicis once and for all.
"Say goodbye to this world, Medicis! Your time has come!" Pearl and Ma'at declared sinisterly.
Suddenly, Pearl was intercepted by a giant construct made of Trinity statue pieces and glowing-blue tendrils.
"What?!" Pearl exclaimed shockingly.
Inside the giant's head was the resurrected Marie.
"Were you not been told?" Marie spoke grimly. "This is not over."
