Chapter Twelve: Departure & Royal Help
The next morning, Angelo woke to find Will still asleep and snuggled up to him with a small smile on her face. A smile grew on his face as he gently brushed some of her bangs out of her face, with his free right hand, hoping not to wake her. He then rested his free hand behind his head as he held Will close with his left arm while looking out the window.
'Life is pretty good here.', he thought to himself. 'But it would be great to go back home. And I know that the girls feel the same way.', he thought to himself as he looked down at Will who was sleeping peacefully causing him to smile. 'We have to get home. Before we lose hope of ever returning back. And so help me, I'll continue the fight to return home.', he said as he felt Will stir a little as her eyes began to open and focus on him.
"Good morning.", Will said in a lazy voice as she sat up with a yawn while stretching her arms exposing her bare chest to Angelo not caring if he saw her chest.
"Good morning.", Angelo said. "I take it you slept well."
"Yeah.", Will said with a small smile. "So are you ready for our journey?"
"Ready as I'll ever be.", Angelo said as he sat up in his bed. "It's finding the Blue Destiny piece and getting out alive that worries me."
"Don't tell me that the big, brave Sir Angelo is actually scared to go on a mission.", Will teased with a smirk as she reached under the blanket and pinched his bare rear making him jump a bit.
"Hey!", Angelo shouted at a laughing Will. "Two can play that game!", he said with a smirk as he reached under the blanket and pinched her bare rear getting a yelp of surprise out of Will to which Angelo laughed.
"Oh yeah!?", Will questioned as she flipped the blankets and sheets off of her and Angelo and quickly straddled Angelo's pelvic area with a playful smile. "What will you do now, Sir Angelo?", she questioned as she slowly ran her hands down his chest and to his stomach with a look that said she wanted some pleasure from him.
"Let's find out and see.", Angelo said as he wrapped his arms around Will and pulled her into a kiss that she returned just as the door to his chambers opened to show Cornelia standing there in her robe and slippers.
"Why am I not surprised?", Cornelia questioned with a smirk as Angelo and Will pulled away from each other. "When you two are done, I suggest you take a bath and then get some breakfast, like I'm about to do. It's going to be a while before we can take a good bath eat some good food.", she said as she left while closing the door to Angelo's chambers.
Will and Angelo looked from the door to each other before Will giggled and Angelo snickered. They then broke into laughter as any worries they had went away for the time being.
"I guess we better go get cleaned up and get something to eat.", Will said as she got off of Angelo and off of his bed. "Besides. Who knows who may come in here next.", she said as she grabbed her robe and put it on along with her slippers.
"I suppose you're right.", Angelo said as he got out of his bed and put his robe and slippers on as well. "The sooner we get ready the sooner we can leave for the Skyan Kingdom.", he said as they left his chambers and headed for the Bathing Rooms.
Once at the Bathing Rooms, Will went into the one she and the girls use while Angelo went into the one he went into. Once in the one she and the girls used, Will saw that Taranee, Hay Lin, and Irma were already in there bathing in the Bathing Pool that was there.
"Hey, girls.", Will said as she took off her robe and slippers and got in the water with Hay Lin, Irma, and Taranee.
"Hey, Will!", Hay Lin said as she was bathing.
"Did you have a good night with Angelo?", Taranee asked with a grin and a smirk.
"Why yes I did.", Will said getting a giggle out of Hay Lin.
"I bet you did.", Irma said with a smirk. "You and Angelo together in his chambers on a warm evening. Makes me wish I was with him instead of you."
"It was nice to be with him last night,.", Will said as she let the waters of the Bathing Pool relax her. "I mean, it's going to be a while before any of us are in a comfortable bed. I'm just glad that I got to sleep in one with Angelo."
"Well, I plan on having some fun with him once we get to the Skyan Kingdom.", Taranee said. "They have some wonderful hot springs that I intend on using with him."
"Looks like we have the same idea.", Irma said to Taranee.
"Really now?", Taranee questioned. "Then may I suggest that we extend our trip so that we can both have our fun."
"I got no problem with that.", Irma said as she and Taranee high-fived each other.
"And while they wait to do that, I plan on spending some nights snuggled up with him in his tent during our journey to and from the Skyan Kingdom.", Hay Lin whispered to Will who giggled with her.
"I just may take some nights myself.", Will said.
"I know that Cornelia will.", Hay Lin said with a grin.
"By the way, where is Cornelia?", Will asked as she poured some bathing oils in the water.
"I think she took her bath before we did.", Taranee said.
"That doesn't sound right.", Will said. "She said that she was going to take a bath when she came to Angelo's chambers."
"Well, she didn't come in here.", Hay Lin said.
"So where did she go?", Will questioned when it hit her and the other girls.
"Angelo!", the four of them said together.
"That little sneak!", Irma said as she smacked the water. "She's copying me!"
"Got to admit, it pretty clever.", Taranee said with a grin.
"Wonder what's going on between them?", Hay Lin questioned.
"Who knows.", Irma said. "Either way, I know Corny will get her prey."
"She isn't one of our best hunters for nothing.", Will said before laughing with the girls.
Meanwhile, in the Bathing Room Angelo was in, Angelo was taking his bath in the warm waters of the Bathing Pool when he looked up at the wide spout that some cool water flowed out of to keep the water at a warm temperature. He knew that the water, in the Bathing Pool was heated by special crystals that were under the pool. The water that was already there drained out to the same crystals and get evaporated in to steam.
"This is the life.", Angelo said with a happy sigh. "It'll be sad to have to leave all of this when we complete Blue Destiny and end the rebellion.", he said looking up at the ceiling of the room. "Oh well. I guess I should just enjoy all of this while it last."
"I couldn't agree more.", came a familiar voice that got Angelo's attention as he looked in the direction the voice was coming from.
Angelo looked towards the water that was flowing out of the spout and saw a figure standing behind the water and knew who it was as she slowly walked through the flowing water naked with some of her hair hanging in front of her covering her chest as she smiled at Angelo.
"What are you doing in here, Cornelia?", Angelo asked surprised by her actions.
"I figured that I could spend a bit of time together before we depart for the Skyan Kingdom.", Cornelia said as she walked up to Angelo. "We barely get some time to ourselves like this.", she said as she slowly snaked her arms around Angelo's neck."
"Uh-huh.", Angelo said as he slowly wrapped his arms around Cornelia's slim waist and pulled her closer to him as they shared a kiss he knew she wanted.
Later that morning, after bathing and eating a good yet light breakfast, the six knights were geared up and ready to begin their journey to the Skyan Kingdom. Standing there with them were their saberwolves as well as Phobos, Miranda, Cedric, Orube, and Raythor.
"Good luck you, my knights.", Phobos said. "And safe journey to you all."
"Thank you, Your Majesty.", Angelo said as he and the girls bowed to him. "We shall return as soon as possible."
"Of course after spending sometime in the hot springs.", Irma whispered to Taranee who smiled a bit.
"Be careful while in the Skyan Kingdom.", Miranda warned. "Their warriors have patrols that go just about everywhere."
"Not to mention them having an advantage in the sky.", Orube added.
"We'll be careful.", Will said.
"Yeah!", Hay Lin said. "We have stealth on our side."
"There's no doubt about that.", Cedric said.
"Plus, we have our special cloaks to keep us safe and hidden.", Taranee said.
"Even so, be careful.", Raythor said. "After getting the piece of Blue Destiny from the Florina Kingdom, I'm sure that the Skyan Kingdom has tightened security around their piece."
"We already figured a way around that.", Cornelia said.
"Don't worry, Raythor. We'll be back before you know it.", Irma said as she mounted her saberwolf, Coco. "Let's go, girl!", Irma said as she rode off.
"Let's move, Fang!", Will said as she said to her saberwolf as she mounted him and took off after Irma.
"Time to ride, Silver!", Hay Lin said to her saberwolf as she mounted him and took off.
"Let's go, Shadow!", Cornelia said to her saberwolf as she mounted him and took off leaving Taranee and Angelo who simply looked at each other and grinned before mounting their saberwolves ready to go.
"Good day to you all.", Taranee said to Phobos, Miranda, Cedric, Orube, and Raythor with a smile. "Let's move out, Ruby!", she said to her saberwolf as she mounted her and took off after the others.
"And with that, we're off.", Angelo said. "Time to ride, Snow!", he said to his saberwolf as he mounted her and took off after the others.
"Safe journey to you all.", Raythor said praying for their safety.
Meanwhile, in the capital city, one of the palace servants was making her way to a certain pub hoping that she wasn't followed. She walked through the streets as if nothing was wrong so any of the soldiers patrolling the streets wouldn't notice her. But deep down she was very nervous doing what she was doing. But she also thought that what she was doing was right. Even if it meant betraying a friend. It took her a while, but she made it to the pub where the person she was looking for. Once at the table, she sat there getting the person's attention.
"What do you have to report?", the person asked the servant.
"The six knights are heading for the Skyan Kingdom as we speak.", the servant said. "They are going after their piece of Blue Destiny."
"Are you sure about this?", the person questioned.
"Lady Hay Lin told me herself.", the servant said.
"I see.", the person said as she drank the last of her nectar. "This could be our chance to capture them.", she said to herself before turning her attention to the palace servant. "You've done well, Karen. Thank you. This may be our chance at capturing them and turning them to our cause."
"I am glad to be of service, Mrs. Nerissa.", Karen said with a small smile. "Can I make a request?"
"What is it?", Nerissa said with a kind smile.
"The six knights are very kind to us servants, in the palace. Especially Lady Hay Lin.", Karen said. "All I ask of you is that not much harm come to them."
"Do not worry, Karen.", Nerissa said as she got to her feet. "We do not intend on hurting them much.", she said as she left some gold coins for payment of the meal she had there.
"Thank you.", Karen said with a smile. "Please give my husband my best."
"I shall.", Nerissa said with a smile that Karen returned. "Until the next time."
"Until then.", Karen said as she waited until Nerissa left the pub before leaving herself. "Soon this will be all over and me and my husband will be reunited.", Karen said with a smile as she returned back to the palace.
Later that day, the six nights stopped for lunch in a small thing of trees seeing as they had a light lunch not to mention their saberwolves could use some rest as they were drinking some water from the pond that was there.
"I wonder how far we are from the palace.", Irma said as she drank some water from her canteen.
"Good question.", Will said before eating some of her sweet bread bun.
"Well judging by the speed our saberwolve were going, I'd say that we were at least close to three hundred miles from the palace.", Taranee calculated. "Give or take a mile or two."
"Wow!", Hay Lin said. "That is far!"
"Most defiantly.", Cornelia said. "It's amazing how much ground the saberwolves can cover with their speed."
"That and the fact that we always travel light helps make a lot of difference.", Angelo said as he drank some of his water.
"Very true.", Will said. "Plus, we don't push our saberwolves to much either."
"There's no need to.", Cornelia said as Shadow laid down behind her. "We'll get to where we need to get to in time.", she said as she stroked her saberwolf's fur gently.
Soon the other saberwolves went to their respectful partner and laid behind them getting some rest before they had to move out. Now back at the rebel base, Nerissa had just told Mage and Vathek about the knights and where they were going. Hearing this made Mage worry a bit.
"I did not expect this.", Mage said as she paced back and forth. "I figured that they would wait and go after the Ferala Kingdom's piece of Blue Destiny. But they're going after the Skyan Kingdom's piece first."
"Should we send word to the Skyan Kingdom", Vathek asked.
"No.", Nerissa said. "I have a better idea."
"What are you thinking, Nerissa?", Mage asked.
"Why just have one piece of Blue Destiny when we can have two?", Nerissa questioned with a cunning smirk.
"You want us to go after the knights after they get the Skyan Kingdom's piece of Blue Destiny.", Mage figured.
"We can pull it off.", Vathek said. "They'll be on guard, but we can still pull it off."
"Are you two sure about this?", Mage asked. "You two along with Frost I believe are ready. It's Caleb, Aldern, and Drake I'm worried about."
"Believe me, Mage. We all are ready.", Nerissa said. "I already know which knights each of us will fight. This may be our one good chance to capture them. I say we go for it."
"As do I.", Vathek said in agreement. "This war has to end. The sooner that happens, the sooner we can work on rebuilding our kingdom."
"You both make good points.", Mage said as she thought to herself. "Very well. You have my permission to go after the knights.", she said getting nods from Nerissa and Vathek. "But wait until they cross the border before you attack. And if you become overwhelmed, turn back. You'll have other chances to fight them."
"Of course, Mage.", Vathek said as she and Nerissa bowed to her. "We shall not fail you.", he said as they left her quarters.
"Can they really pull it off?", Mage questioned to herself as she sat in a chair. "Perhaps they can. And if things go as planned, then Meridian shall have a new ruler.", she said as she began to think of victory.
As for our six knights, after taking a small nap with their saberwolves, they headed for the nearest town to rent some rooms at the nearest inn for the night. Once they found a stable for their saberwolves, they found a pub to get something to eat and then headed for the nearest inn to rent three rooms. Of course this meant that one of the girls would get to share a room with Angelo. And there was only one way to settle this.
"Okay.", Angelo said as he held five straws in his hand. "Whoever pulls the short straw shares a room with me. Deal?"
"Deal!", the girls said as they reached for a straw and... "One. Two. Three!", they said as they pulled one at the same time.
"Aw!", Irma whined as she pulled a long straw. "No fair!"
"How was that not fair?", Cornelia questioned as it was Taranee who had pulled the short straw.
"Fair is fair, Irma.", Angelo said. "Shall we, Ms. Cook?"
"Lead the way, Mr. Vanders.", Taranee said as they headed for their room.
"Goodnight, ladies.", Angelo said to the other girls as he and Taranee headed into their room.
"I'm hitting the sack.", Will said as she let out a yawn and headed for one of the two other rooms they had for the night. "Who's bunking with me?"
"I'll bunk with you.", Cornelia said as they headed for one of the other two rooms they had.
"Looks like it's you and me bunking together, Hay-Hay.", Irma said as she wrapped an arm around her best friend's shoulder.
"Okie-dokie!", Hay Lin said as they headed for their room.
Sometime later, Angelo and Taranee had their gear and clothes laying on one of the two beds in the room, while they were together in the other bed sleeping very comfortably together. That is until Taranee woke up and sat which woke Angelo up.
"You okay?", Angelo asked as he sat up next to her.
"Yeah. I guess.", Taranee said with a sad sigh.
"What's wrong, Taranee?", Angelo asked as he placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "You know that you can me anything."
"It's nothing.", Taranee said. "It's just that... What if our when we go back to Earth and our families don't believe we're their children? What if they think we're dead and have moved on. They may think we're a bunch of liars when we return.", she said as her eyes began to water.
Seeing this, Angelo wrapped an arm around Taranee and pulled her closer to him as her tears began to flow.
"I know that our parents will believe we're their children.", Angelo said. "We remember to much for them not to believe us. Besides. They know where we are. I just know it. It's the Veil that's keeping us apart. And once we find and complete Blue destiny, we'll be heading back home to our families."
"Where you and Will are neighbors in the same town while Cornelia, Hay Lin, and Irma live in the same city.", Taranee said as she wiped her eyes. "As for me, I'll be no where hear you guys."
"We can always visit you. And you can always visit us.", Angelo said. "But until then I say that we enjoy the time we have here. Together.", he said before he gave Taranee a kiss that she returned as she wrapped her arms around his neck while he wrapped his arms around her waist before laying back down on the bed together as their hands began to roam over each others body giving each other some pleasure as they continued to make out.
Then Angelo took his right hand went to Taranee's ample bosom and gently massaged her one of her breast while his left hand went down to her firm rear and began gently to massage both areas getting moans of pleasure from Taranee who held onto Angelo feeling safe with him. Soon their making out came to an end as they both laid together. Angelo was laying on his back with his right arm behind his head while he had his left arm wrapped around Taranee's waist holding her close while she had her head resting on his chest. Neither of them said a word as they slowly fell asleep for no words were needed between them. Soon, morning came and after making use of the inn's bathing rooms, the six knights had their breakfast at the local pub before leaving the town on their saberwolves. A few days later, the six knights had finally arrived in the Skyan Kingdom. A kingdom that was mostly mountains with some valleys. As our knights rode though the land, they all wore brown, hooded cloaks to hide their faces as to not draw any attention to themselves as they had a mission to complete.
"So where do we go from here?", Irma asked as they rode their saberwolves towards the mountains.
"We have to head for the mountain that is the royal palace.", Taranee explained.
"Come again?", Irma questioned. "The mountain that is the palace?"
"That's right.", Will said. "The Skyan Kingdom is mostly mountains with some valleys. In the valleys are some towns where those who can't live in the mountains due to the thin air live."
"Namely, those who aren't Aveons. The winged people of the Skyan Kingdom.", Hay Lin said.
"But the Aveons can take the thin air in the mountains.", Cornelia continued to explain. "Which is where they live. They carved out homes, shops, and other places in the mountains for themselves."
"And one of these mountains is the royal palace.", Irma figured.
"Yes.", Angelo said. "Once we locate it, we can plan out how to find the piece of Blue Destiny they have. But first I think we need a place to make camp for tonight. Somewhere isolated."
"Leave that to me.", Cornelia said as they rode they found the mountain trail that they were traveling along.
"Remember our training for areas like this.", Will said. "The air will get thin the further we go up. "We need to take our time traveling up the mountains.", she said getting nods from the others as Cornelia led the way up the mountains.
At the same time, in the palace of the Florina Kingdom, Prince Dorean had received word from the messenger he sent to the rebels. And he was not pleased as he read the letter Mage wrote him.
Dear Prince Dorean,
As much as your help could make a difference, we rebels can handle our own problems. If you were to help us in fighting the six knights and word were to get to Phobos, then Meridian may go to war with Florina. And I know you do not want that to happen. So for the sake of your kingdom, please do not come and help.
Mage
"How dare she turn down my help!?", Dorean snapped as he tossed the letter into the fireplace of his chambers. "She will regret turning away my help!"
"Perhaps not, Your Majesty.", the messenger said as he pulled out another letter. "I was asked to give this to you. It is from one of the rebels that will be fighting the knights."
"Really now?", Dorean questioned as he took the letter and began to read it.
Prince Dorean,
I hear that you wish to lend us your strength in fight against the six young knights. If you are truly serious about this, them meet me by the lake in the Great Forest of our kingdom. If you truly wish to fight along side us, then you can pick which of the knights to help fight.

"It seems that there is one who sees that there is strength in numbers.", Dorean said as he tossed the letter in the fireplace to burn with the other letter. "Soon, I shall have my battler with Lady Will. And when I am done with her, she shall make a fine bride!", he said with a smirk before turning to the messenger. "You are to say nothing of this to anybody. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes, Your Majesty.", the messenger said with a bow.
"Good.", Dorean said as he handed the messenger a small bag of gold coins. "Here is your payment. Now leave me."
The messenger said nothing as he bowed to the prince and left. As for Prince Dorean, he walked up to the self where he had his shield siting. It was the same shield that he used to battle against Will with. As he examined his shield, he saw the scratch that Will made on it with her wave swords.
"You are quite powerful, Lady Will.", Dorean said as he ran his finger along the scratch. "You shall make a grand queen for my people. A grand one indeed."
A few hours later, in the Meridian Kingdom, Cedric and Orube made their way to their chambers for some private time. Once inside their room, they began making out as they threw their clothes off while making their way to their bed. Once on the bed, Cedric looked into Orube's eyes as she looked into his as they both were smiling at each other.
"I love you.", Cedric said to his wife while smiling.
"And I love you.", Orube said smiling as she straddled her husband.
With a smirk on his face, Cedric spun Orube around so that she was still straddling him with her rear facing him ready for some loving! Cedric's hands slowly made their way up to Orube's bosom and began to massage both mounds gently gaining moans of pleasure from his wife as he slowly began to suck on her neck as she began to grind her rear along his erect member getting moans of pleasure out of him. Soon they both couldn't take anymore as Orube turned around and shared a loving kiss with Cedric as he inserted his member inside his wife who held on to him as they proceed to make love. Orube let out more moans of pleasure from the feel of her husband going in and out of her with each stroke Cedric took just as he was letting out some moans of his own with the feel of each stroke he was taking while making love to his wife as the head of the bed was banging against the wall. Within time they both reached their peak as they climaxed and laid on their bed both sweating and breathing heavily from making love. The cool air flowing in from the window was relaxing to their heated bodies as they laid next to each other.
"I love you, Cedric.", Orube said as she rested her head on her husband's chest.
"And I love you, Orube.", Cedric said as he wrapped an arm around his wife's waist as sleep over came them both.
Now in the Florina Kingdom, Prince Dorean had packed what he needed for his trip to Meridian. Once he was ready to go, he left a letter for his parents and left his room and headed down to the stables. Once there, he mounted a horse and left for the Meridian Kingdom.
"Soon, Lady Will. You shall be mine!", Dorean said to himself as he rode away from his home. "Oh yes! You shall be mine!"
A/N: Well this is an interesting turn of events. Will our heroes are in the Skyan Kingdom in search of their piece of Blue Destiny, Prince Dorean is on his was to help the rebels at the request of Caleb. Even though Mage doesn't want his help. I see trouble for Caleb and Dorean. Things don't look good for our heroes. Can they get the Skyan Kingdom's piece of Blue Destiny and make it back to the palace? Only time will tell, my friends. Only time will tell.
