I was pacing. Up and down. Up and down. I couldn't think about anything but Olivia's sad face. I felt like an idiot. I was an idiot. I had no idea how to fix this. I was prepared to do anything, because I'd missed her a lot since we hadn't seen each other for four days. Olivia was obviously skipping the lessons we had together or worse she had asked to be moved.
I heaved a sigh and fell back on my bed dramatically. I had no idea what I was going to do. Worrying about this was really affecting my game, and the guys were starting to notice that something was bothering me. I just said I had man flu which they took as a good answer but it obviously wasn't man flu.
'Hey man.' Duke said, entering our dorm. 'Still suffering from man flu?'
'Yeah.' I said with a small smile. 'I'd stay away.'
'Man flu isn't contagious… is it?' Duke wondered, looking me up and down, as if the bacteria were going to fly towards him.
'Don't be stupid.' I said with a laugh, throwing a pillow at him.
'Just making sure, I don't want to be ill.' Duke said, throwing the pillow back.
'How are you and Olivia doing?' I asked suddenly, as Duke sat down at his desk.
'We are going nowhere…' Duke said slowly. 'I don't think she's interested in me.'
'Have you talked to her?' I wondered.
'Not lately, last time I talked to her was like two days ago.' Duke sighed. 'In fact she's been kinda of quiet for the past few days.'
I sighed; she hadn't even talked to Duke. I really did hurt her. I had to fix this. I stood up, with a determined look on my face; Duke didn't miss this.
'Where are you going?' Duke asked.
'I have to get some fresh air.' I said fleetingly, I knew Duke would wonder why I was off to see Olivia; possibly jealous. 'I'll see you later.'
As I walked to Olivia's dorm room, I was desperately thinking about what I was going to say but I had no idea how to begin. Before I knew it, I was standing outside her doo and knocking.
Maria answered the door, once she saw it was me; she gave me the most disgusted look, and was about to shut the door but I roughly pushed my foot.
'Is Olivia in there?' I asked.
'She doesn't want to see you.' Maria said again, attempting to close the door but I was firm.
'Olivia!' I shouted, 'Olivia, I need to talk to you.' I said, over Maria's shoulder.
Maria looked over her shoulder where I assumed Olivia was, she didn't look happy when she looked back at me. Maria passed me, leaving the door open for me. I entered the room, feeling apprehensive. Olivia was sat at her desk with her back to me.
'Olivia,' I whispered softly.
She turned and looked at me, I could tell by her watery eyes that she had been crying but despite this, she still looked beautiful. I really couldn't get enough of her.
'What do you want Sebastian?' Olivia said, her blue eyes piercing mine.
'You know, I spent the walk here trying to figure out what I was going to say to you,' I said, I took a deep breath. 'I realise I fucked up. In a major, idiotic way. I was extremely, utterly stupid. I'm sorry…'
Olivia didn't say anything, she looked down at her feet. I had no idea, what else to say.
'Olivia, I miss you,' I carried on, spouting anything that will convince Olivia that I was sincere. 'I miss talking to you. I know I treated you liked shit, I can't tell you fucking sorry I am. Can't we just be friends again?'
Olivia now looked at me with complete disbelief in her eyes, I didn't understand it and started to run what I'd said again through my head.
'Friends?' Olivia questioned angrily. 'We nearly have sex and you just what to be friend? We flirt relentlessly with one another and still fucking friends? We fucking make out and just friends?'
This is the first time I'd ever heard Olivia swear and seen her angry; her natural sweet disposition was totally gone and I had to say I missed it. But her feisty side was extremely sexy and a total turn on.
I didn't know what to say, she was right; I had given her completely mixed signals. I was worse than a guy.
'Olivia those were-'
'Mistakes?' Olivia finished scornfully; she got up and walked towards me. 'You can't feel the heat between us?'
The cat had truly got my tongue, as I couldn't think of a single thing to say as Olivia curvaceous body slinked towards me as if I was her prey.
'I know you can feel it, I don't know why you won't just go with the flow? Are you scared?'
Olivia was now right in front of me, and her perfume was overwhelming. She was too close. I don't think I would be able to control my actions very longer, so I took a cautious step back. This elicited a small smile from Olivia.
'I make you nervous, don't I?' Olivia laughed softly.
'Yes you do.' I said softly, taking a step towards her; I just always felt that I should be near her.
'Kiss me.' Olivia whispered.
I didn't hesitant, that fire that we both felt for each otbher ignited to new levels as we kissed. It was a slow and passionate kiss. Olivia's moans turned me on and I just wanted to give her more pleasure. I pushed her back against the door, trailing soft kisses down her neck; her moans became louder.
Her hands, started to rub against my body unexpectedly, I jumped away from her.
'What?' Olivia asked me breathlessly, confused. 'If you mention anything about friends again, I'm gonna hurt you.'
'No it's not that. It was nice,' I said, Olivia gave me a sexy questioning look. 'It was much more than nice, amazing in fact but I think we should slow down.'
Olivia looked perplexed. I knew it was probably to do with the fact that she had never encountered a guy who had asked to 'slow down'.
'We don't want to rush, do we?' I reasoned.
'Yeah, I guess you're right.' Olivia said with a frown, but smiled as she pulled me back towards her. 'No sex, until you're ready.'
Olivia winked, I was literally the least manly guy ever. Although as a girl, I wasn't even sure if I was ready to have my first time with a girl but I definitely wanted to be with Olivia; I never felt like this for anyone. Coming to this realisation made me sad that I was deceiving her to such an extent, it hurt almost.
'But, that doesn't mean we can't make out.' Olivia, kissing
me hard. 'I could get used to this.'
'Mmm, again.' I said, greedily wanting more of her.
Olivia chuckled softly as she kissed me again, biting my lip softly which elicited from me a soft groan of pleasure. It felt too good kissing her, it was addictive.
'You're a good kisser.' Olivia said, as we came up for air.
'Yeah,' I said with a smile, all doubts flew out the window when I was looking into Olivia's blue eyes. 'You're alright.'
Olivia rolled her eyes and swatted my arm.
'You're the best kisser.' I whispered sincerely in her ear, her breath hitched – it made me smile, how much of an impact I had on her.
'Why thank you, I try good sir.' Olivia said with a smile, as she moved past me and sat on her bed.
For some reason the good sir comment got to me. I knew what I was doing was completely wrong, I should tell her the truth about me but then what? Mr brother would be in deep trouble, I would be in deep trouble and I wouldn't have my chance to show Cornwall soccer team, that girls could be just as good. I had to focus on the latter, being in trouble will come later but winning against Cornwall was my ultimate aim. Nothing else mattered. Just soccer.
Then I looked at Olivia, who I was only half listening to as she talked about some guy that Maria liked. Olivia mattered. Too much. It was so easy being around her and with her. I had no idea what to do about this; I had to talk to someone. These were uncharted waters.
'Are you listening?' Olivia asked with a smirk, I must have looked so vacant.
'Maria likes some guy?' I questioned with a smile as I sat next to her and flung my arm round her shoulders.
I smiled as she snuggled into me, I kissed her cheek softly. It was a total reflex which I had very little control of; Olivia smiled. I liked that she was so happy with me; it was something that I could totally get used to.
'You so weren't listening.' Olivia pouted; she was cute when she did that.
'I so was.' I countered playfully. 'Maria likes some guy in her Math class.'
'English, but close enough.' Olivia said with a laugh.
'Want to go for some lunch?' I asked.
Olivia was quiet, at first I thought she was going to say no but she smiled and stood up, taking my hand with her.
'Where to?' Olivia asked
'Where do you think?' I said with laugh. 'Cesario's.'
