Santana POV

I love my sister, I really do. But I was about to flip my shit if she didn't stop interrupting my Britt-Britt time. It started the moment that Brittany arrived a few hours ago. Spencer had been the one to open the door and jokingly told Brittany that I wasn't home. To which she had almost left again if I hadn't been there to stop her and apologize for my sister's childish act.

… And she's still going at it.

Spencer barged in my bedroom interrupted our peace, without knocking, too. She stopped in the middle of the room and looked startled but the smirk on her face told me that she exactly knew what she was doing. "Ah, so sorry to have walked in unannounced. Nice to see you again, Brittany."

"What are you doing here, Spence?" I sat up slowly, taking Brittany with me since she was lying on my chest.

"Huh? I can't come see my baby sister?" Spencer pursed her lips, cocked an eyebrow and, to finish of her stance, placed her hands on her hips.

"Not when Brittany is here, no." Scoffing, I went to stand up but Brittany held me down with a displeased grunt.

"Ah, you're no fun." I ignored Spencer and drew Brittany closer against my chest, basking in the scent that was pure Brittany, which calmed me down.

Hoping that Spencer would leave once we didn't give her any attention, I went to ask Brittany what she wanted to do the rest of the day when Spencer once again interrupted me. "What happened to your elbow?"

Frowning, I flexed my arm to take a look at my elbow. Remembering the dark bruise that sat there after tumbling out of Brittany's bed, I shrugged. "Nothing, I fell out of bed when I was sleeping over by Britt a few days ago."

"Really?" Spencer gaped at us; her gaze flitted from Brittany towards my elbow and back. "I never imagined Brittany to be such a wild one in bed." She smirked.

"Wh-" Brittany's eyes were wide open, shocked.

I quickly cut Brittany off and grabbed one of my pillows, throwing it at my sister's head. "Oh my god! Get the hell out, Spence!"

/

A little later she once again found the need to join us in the living room. Perching herself in the seat next to us, Brittany lifted her head up from where it was placed on my shoulder to at what Spencer was doing, then shrugged and once again snuggled into my side like she had been doing before. I was glad that she didn't seem fazed by my sister being around but to me, Spencer was annoying as hell.

Spencer looked over at us and met my annoyed, burning gaze. She smiled sweetly and gave a little wave, "Don't mind me. By all means, do continue."

Shaking my head, I leaned down and gently nibbled on Brittany's earlobe, earning a giggle from her. "If you want, we can go back up to my room." I whispered and smiled down at her when she looked up at me with a dazzling smile.

"It's okay, I don't mind." She grinned and placed a soft kiss on my jaw.

A blush appeared on my cheeks as Brittany continued trailing soft kissing along my jawline, knowing my sister was watching us from her seat. Normally I wouldn't mind having an audience all that much but when the audience was family, it became awkward.

For the sake of not drawing too much attention, I closed my eyes and put all my focus on Brittany's wet lips against my burning skin. I had to bite the inside of my cheek not to moan out at the attention she was now giving my pulse point.

Someone groaning loudly made me refocus on our surroundings, more specific on the person who was mumbling about sitting right there and something about respect. To which I send a death glare her way, "No one said you had to join us and no one is making you stay. So go away if it bothers you." I ended with a huff and wrapped my arms tighter around Brittany, pulling her almost completely on top of me.

Brittany giggled right next to my ear when Spencer finally stood up and left the room, muttering a few incoherent words under her breath.

/

Leaning against the frame of the kitchen door, I smiled at Brittany who was standing with her back towards me. She was dancing in front of the open fridge door while looking for something to eat for the both of us. I giggled and smiled adoringly at her when she retracted herself from out of the fridge with a bright smile and some leftovers in her hands. "Found some!"

"You're just too damn cute." I said while walking slowly towards her, my palms sliding along the kitchen isle, inching closer and closer towards her with a smirk. Once I reached her, I turned swiftly and placed my hands on each side of her waist behind her on the counter, effectively trapping her.

Brittany gulped and bit down on her bottom lip while looking at me through hooded eyes. Smirking, I leaned in closer, our noses barely touching. Her breath hitched when I slipped my leg between her thighs and a soft moan escaped perfect lips. We hadn't gone further than kissing yet and I knew that the kitchen wasn't the best place to be the first time, as well as it being way too soon for us, but a little teasing couldn't hurt.

"S-san." Her eyes flutter closed and her tongue darted out, moistening her pink lips.

I nudged her nose playfully before pulling her closer by her waist and connecting our lips together. She whimpered and drew in a deep breath through her nose before full on kissing me back. I smirk and pull her flush against me, our heaving chests and breasts sliding against each other. I could feel her heart beating so fast it might actually burst out of her chest.

I smiled in the kiss when a moan slipped passed her lips and swiped my tongue over her bottom lip. Being granted access, I moved my tongue passed her lips as my hands made their way up her side to rest on her shoulders. While our tongues battled for dominance, I slightly started rocking my leg, which was still sandwiched between hers. She took my bottom lip between her teeth and tugged gently, groaning each time my leg pressed against her core.

When she let go of my lip, I trailed soft kisses along her jaw until I reached her neck and went to suck on her pulse point. She leaned her head back, exposing more of her neck for me to ravish and let out sexy, breathy moans, which sounded like music to my ears. Breaking away from her neck and I went to lean my forehead against hers, breathing heavily. "Britt."

"I…" Brittany bit down on her lip and didn't finish her sentence.

"Hmm?" I stared deeply in ocean blue orbs and smiled softly, letting her know that I was listening and to say what she was going to say.

She shook her head and smiled back, "It's nothing." I let her ponder for a moment before shrugging and leaning in again, full on meaning to get back to making out.

Someone's footsteps padding softly across the floor caused us to break apart from each other just as Spencer's voice flittered through the kitchen, "Just here to grab some food. Not my fault you choose the kitchen to start a make-out session."

Letting out a frustrated groan, I step away from Brittany, putting some space between us and glared at my sister while she moved around the kitchen. "Can you stop interrupting us all the damn time?"

Spencer shrugged, "I could, but it's too much fun so I won't." She replied with a shit-eating grin, if Brittany weren't holding onto me right now I would have hit her.

I was fuming, who was she to interrupt us at any time of the day?

"Just get out, Spence."

Spencer narrowed her eyes and snorted, "I have every right to stand where I want to, San."

"Spencer- urgh fine, then we'll just go. Come on, Britt." Groaning, I grabbed Brittany's hand and dragged her along with me out of the kitchen and up the stairs to my room.

"Buh-bye." Spencer waved dramatically after us with a grin.

Brittany POV

It was Monday again, which meant we had to go back to school. Santana and I had to sleep in our own beds again and for once I actually stayed awake for almost all night. Being kept awake by just any sound, it almost drove me crazy. So right now, I was standing at the front gate of our school, waiting on Santana to arrive. Well as much as you can call standing, more or less I was slumped over, almost falling asleep on the spot.

Many students that had passed looked weirdly at me but I was too tired to even care. My eyes drooped closed and shot back open every few moments. Eventually I gave up on trying to stay awake and closed my eyes, leaning my head against the wall.

Once I was on the brink of falling asleep, I could faintly hear my name being called. "B… Britt… Brittany!" My eyes flew open and met the familiar dark mocha orbs of Santana who were now fleeting worriedly over my face, looking for something. "Are you okay?"

I gave her a droopy, sleepy smile and nodded, "Jus' a lil' sleepy."

"Didn't you get enough sleep?" I heard Santana ask softly.

Shaking my head, I tried to keep my eyes open and replied through a yawn, "You weren't there."

Santana's face lit up with a bright smile and I just couldn't help but to smile back. "Same here, it was also pretty cold without your warmth next to me." I bopped my head up and down in understanding. She giggled and wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me into her side. "Come on, let's go inside and you can sleep some more during first period."

I liked the sound of that.

To my luck we had a free period right after our first one and Santana told me to try to sleep some more so I would be able to concentrate again during the rest of the day. I was all too happy to comply and immediately fell asleep once I laid my head down on my arms.

When I woke up, Santana was nowhere to be found. Thinking she might just have gone to the bathroom, I shrugged and laid my head back down on the table, slipping back into a slumber.

I was woken again from my little nap when someone was running his or her fingers up and down my arm, rousing me from my sleep. Peeking up from my positions, I saw tan fingers making their way back down my left arm, causing my hairs to stand up. "Tickles." I mumbled out and the tan fingers stopped their movements.

Santana giggled and brushed away the strands of hair that had fallen in front of my face. "Sorry, babe."

I stretched my arms out in front of me and yawned, "Where did you go to earlier?"

"Huh? I was right here the whole time, Britt." Santana bit down on her lip and let her gaze wander away from mine when I looked up in confusion.

"No, when I woke up, you weren't here."

"Oh… uh, I j-just…" She stuttered and tried to come up with something to say.

Shrugging, I said, "I thought you might had gone to the bathroom."

"I did!" Santana replied a little louder than necessary and nodded furiously. Confused, I raised an eyebrow but then shrugged again, not quite fully awake yet to question her weird behaviour.

I yawned and smacked my lips together which earner a giggle from Santana in responds. Smirking, I went to stretch my arms above my head, causing my shirt to ride up slowly and my stomach to be put on display for her to see. Glancing in her direction I could see that she was indeed looking and chuckled softly, she was so predictable.

I coughed and her eyes snapped towards mine immediately. She knew that she had been caught staring and quickly averted her gaze, a blush evident on her cheeks while she mumbled some words that I couldn't quite understand. Before I could question what she said, the bell rang, indicating that our free period was over.

/

When lunch rolled around, I was waiting at Santana's classroom for her to come out. Student after student left the room but none of them were her. Biting down on my bottom lip, I peered in the class but couldn't spot her neither. Once the teacher exited the room and locked the door behind him, I started to worry. Why was Santana not amongst all the other kids? Did she already pass by? Did I miss her somehow?

With a pout, I turned around and headed for the cafeteria in hope that she would be waiting for me there.

Once there, I tried to locate her but she was nowhere to be seen. Not in her normal seat by her team and not in our spot at the far end of the cafeteria where we had been sitting for the last few weeks. I frowned and continued to scan the rest of the cafeteria.

I noticed Mike waving me over towards his table where he was seated with some of the Glee kids so I made my way over to him.

"Hey, Brittany!" He said once I was in hearing distance.

"Hey." I replied timidly, not used to having someone remember me and let my eyes wander over everyone else who was seated at the table, most of which I didn't remember their names other than Rachel's.

"You looked a little lost there so I thought you might wanted to sit with us." Mike smiled sweetly at me and patted at the seat right next to him.

"O-oh… right." I didn't want to disappoint him by telling that I actually didn't want to sit by them but I couldn't form the right words in my head. "I-I'm just..."

"She was just waiting for me, boy Chang." Santana appeared right next to suddenly, glaring at Mike and saving me from needing to explain myself. "Come on, Britt." She pulled me along with her towards our regular table.

"Where were you? I was waiting by your class by you never got out." I pouted at her and went to sit down across from her at our table once we reached it.

She sighed softly and reached out to take my hand in hers, "I'm sorry, baby. I should've texted you. I wasn't feeling so well so I went to the infirmary."

My eyes widened and my grip on her hand tightened, concern flowing through my body. "A-are you okay? Do you want to go home?"

She quickly shook her head, "No no, it was just a headache. I got some medication and it's already better." She tried to brush it off with a smile but I couldn't help but feel that she was lying about something.

"Are you sure?"

"Yup!" She nodded and started to eat. I eyed her curiously but eventually gave up on trying to find out what seemed to off and ate as well. After a while Santana tapped my cast covered hand and smiled softly, "So, when can your cast come off?"

Santana POV

"Yes, that's what I said. What do you mean, you don't understand? Britt has-" I spoke into my phone, holding my hand in front of my mouth so the words would be a little more muffled when I talked.

"What do I have?" I jumped up in surprise and quickly turned around to see Brittany standing a few steps away from me.

"B! Oh uhm, nothing. Just talking to Spencer." I flushed at being caught red handed. I turned my attention back to my phone where my sister was asking me questions and quickly whispered, "Gotta go, we'll talk later. Don't forget to do what I told you. Bye."

Brittany stared incredulous at me and raised her eyebrows, "What does she have to do?"

"Uh… she has to uh… tell mom I won't be eating with them." I winced at the horrible lie but smiled anyway, hoping it will convince her.

"You won't? Why not?" Brittany questioned.

As much as I loved that Brittany wanted to know everything that I was doing, right now wasn't the right time to be asking questions; I hated to lying to her. "Ah… I forgot that we were going to have… dinner with everyone from the team."

"That's great, am I invited?" Brittany clapped in her hands and smiled brightly.

"NO!" I immediately said and winced again when her face fell and a sad pout took the place of her beautiful smile. I had to say something and quick. "I mean, it's only team members allowed." Biting down on my bottom lip, I nodded sadly and hoped that she believed me.

"I see." She nodded as well and her demeanour went from sad to irritated.

I felt really guilty, being responsible for her looking at me like that but I couldn't crack now, I had to go through with this for everything to work out. It'd be all worth it in the end. "Sorry."

Brittany shook her head and shrugged, "Don't worry about it. Gotta run to class, see you later, San."

Without waiting for a reply, Brittany turned around swiftly and went on her way to her next class, unaware of the sad stare I send after her. I couldn't let her know about my plans; I just wished I didn't have to lie to make them.

Sighing, I followed behind Brittany and remind myself why it was so important to keep her in the dark about this.

Flashback; Lopez residence

"So, my baby sister has a girlfriend before me, huh?" Spencer pinched my cheeks and grinned widely.

"Brittany is not my girlfriend." I slapped away her hands and rubbed my sore cheeks.

Spencer's eyes widened and her eyebrows shot up in confusion, "What?"

"We're just dating." I shrugged and hung my head a bit.

"Ah, but you want her to be your girlfriend, right?"

I nodded furiously, "Of course, I do!"

"Okay, then what the hell are you waiting for? For someone to steal her right in front of your eyes?" Spencer scoffed and crossed her arms.

I bit down on my bottom lip and shook my head; "No… but isn't it too soon?"

"When is it too soon? Or when is it already too late?" Spencer shrugged, "Do you think it's too soon?"

With a shrug, I replied in a steady voice. "If it was my choice, I would have already asked. But I don't know what Brittany thinks about it."

"Hmm…" Spencer thought for a moment and then snapped her fingers. "I got it! Ask her out on a surprise date and try to find out if she finds it too soon. If not, then go for it." She smiled bright and shrugged again, "If she does, then wait a while longer."

End flashback

And so far, everything was still pretty much going as planned. The preparation for the date was in full action. If I managed to deceive Brittany for a few more hours then it was bound to be a success. It was now all in the hands of Spencer, I had given her clear orders on what to do and I hoped that she could do everything in time.

The one thing I had to worry about was getting Brittany to my place after school and not to die from nervousness before that. Simple, right?

Hell no!

While I made my way towards class and sat down next to a still rather annoyed Brittany, outside in the hallways Quinn made her way over towards Brittany's brother with determent eyes and a smirk playing on her lips. She tapped him on his shoulder and asked him some questions to which he raised his eyebrows. He shook his head and waved her off but Quinn was persistent and tried to make him answer. Brent sighed deeply and answered her question before telling her off again. Quinn nodded in understanding and with a triumphantly smile turned around and walked away, a sway in her hips.

Inside the classroom, I rolled my eyes at the annoying beeping tone from Puck's phone and watched him read whatever text he got. Probably something inappropriate. When he turned his head and looked towards Brittany with a smirk, my eyebrows shot up. Why the hell was he looking at her like that? Was the text about her or something?A scowl made its way on my face as I glared at him.

When his gaze met mine, he moved his eyebrows up and down and smirked again. Scoffing, I turned my gaze back towards the front of the class and refocused. Whatever what he was going to do, I wouldn't let him come near Brittany.

As class went on, nothing in particular happened until I looked off to my side and noticed Brittany shooting glares at almost everyone in the room and mumbling under her breath. Confused, I watched everyone she was glaring at and saw that some were clicking their pens repeatedly; others were popping some bubblegum or whispering with each other. All these sounds, which my hearing didn't automatically picked up on if I wasn't paying close attention to them, were irritable sounds for Brittany's hearing. I immediately knew what was happening and called towards the teacher that Brittany wasn't feeling well and that I would escort her to the infirmary.

Without waiting, I pulled her up and gathered all our stuff, leaving the classroom. Once outside, I steered us towards the empty choir room and sat her down gently. I crouched down in front of her and placed my hands on her knees, squeezing gently to get her attention. "Better?"

Brittany nodded and took deep breaths, trying to control her rapid beating heart. "Just give me a second."

"Take all the time you need, baby." I replied gently and patted her knees softly.

After a few minutes, Brittany looked down and let out a sigh, "This can't be coincidence, right? How can they all make these irritating sounds all at once?" Brittany mumbled to herself; I had to strain my hearing to listen to her mumbled words. "How? Why? Did they find out? Do they know? But how?" I could practically hear the gears in her mind work at full speed.

"Britt?"

She gasped and shook her head, "That's not possible." She looked down at me with wide eyes, and then averted her gaze again, shaking her head and mumbling some more words. "Impossible."

"Uh? What are you talking about, Britt?" I asked gently, trying to get her to tell me what she was all thinking about.

"Everyone must've know about me, why else would everyone do this at the same time. They must've known. Someone told them, I'm sure of it." She said in one breath.

"Okay… but then who?" I questioned and watched her turn her gaze back at me, staring intensely.

"….Wait! You think that… you can't be serious right? How could you think that I would go around telling them something like that?" I was furious. How could she think that? I would never want her to go through anything like that on purpose. Hell, I wouldn't even want her to go through it on accident.

"You're the only one who knows about my condition, San."

"Your brother does too." I gritted my teeth, still not believing this was happening.

"Are you saying that my brother did this? That my own brother would let his sister suffer like that?" She asked, not believing her own brother would do something like that.

I pursed my lips and tried to keep from shouting, "And you think that I would?"

She narrowed her eyes, "I don't know, San. Would you?"

"Of course not, B. I got you out of there, right? I'm right here, am I not?"

Shaking her head, Brittany stood up, "And where were you right before lunch? Or whenever I was waiting in front of your class to walk along with you? And those phone calls, were they really all to your sister?" Brittany said through clenched teeth, trying to keep her tears at bay but failing miserably as I took a while to reply. "Tell me!" She choked out.

"I… I can't." I wanted to tell her but I couldn't, I tried so hard to keep this date a surprise all day long, I couldn't cave now. It would all be worth it in the end, I repeated in my head over and over again.

"You can't? Why not?" Brittany spat out and threw her hands up in the air, unable to control her anger.

"I just…" I sighed and closed my eyes tightly. I guess had to tell her the truth. I couldn't let her blame me for something that I didn't do. Surprise be damned, I needed Brittany to know that I had nothing to do with this.

But once I opened my mouth, Brittany scoffed and shook her head again, sniffing loudly, "I can't believe this. I trusted you, San! I trusted you with one of my biggest secrets but you go around and tell everyone about it behind my back." Tears where rolling down her cheeks and a sob broke out. "I thought you loved me."

Shaking my head, I went to tell her that I do love her and that this is all a big mistake, only to stumble back as a blur of blonde hair shot passed me. The door shutting in place with a loud bang let me know that Brittany had left me standing there alone.

This can't be happening. I'm dreaming right now. This did not happen.
