A/N: I don't own this. We all know who does. What I do own is a house full of Christmas decorations that need to be taken down today. They're so pretty to look at. I'll miss them. :( Especially my Little People Nativity Set and the sparkly tinsel-filled tree. :)

A few tense moments passed as I watched my parents greet Edward's parents. I could see them sizing each other up, probably planning their, "Is it just me or are these kids crazy?" questions for one another. Edward took my hand and smiled at me before pulling me along behind him.
"Mom, Dad, I'd like you to meet Bella Swan," he said with a smile. "She's the one I've been looking for."
His mother smiled at me, then stepped forward and wrapped her arms around my shoulders. "Oh, Bella. It's so wonderful to meet you," she whispered into my ear. "You're just as lovely as I imagined."
Edward's father stood off to the side a little bit, and though he seemed pleasant enough, I could tell he wasn't happy. He sighed before rubbing his fingers along his brow. "Edward, son, can we talk about this for a minute?"
"Dad, I told you, this is it. I know what I'm doing."
"I know you did, but son, this is a big deal. You don't have to rush into anything," his father said, looking toward my dad. "I'm sure I'm not the only parent here having a difficult time with this. Why the hurry?"
"I love her, and she loves me. I just wanna be married to her, Dad."
"It's so romantic, Carlisle," Edward's mother said softly, smiling at me as she rubbed her hand up and down my arm. "You remember what young love is like, right?"
Carlisle sighed. "Oh course, Es, but they've been together what, two, three days? And before that it was one evening when they spent a few hours together. He's my son. Why can't I be the voice of reason here?"
We all stood quietly for a few moments, just watching each other, before finally my father stepped forward. "Carlisle? Is that right?" Edward's dad nodded. "I'm Charlie Swan, Bella's father. Mind if I speak with you alone for a moment?"
As our dad's walked away from us, my mother moved toward me, keeping a close eye on Esme. "Honey, why don't you go on inside and I'll bring your dress. You need to get ready. Maybe Edward's mother would like to help us?"
"Oh, I'd be so happy to help," Esme said quickly. "I'd really love a chance to freshen up a bit, too. I planned to do that when we landed at the airport, but then security confiscated my bathroom bag. They said it was for my own safety, but I don't know why they thought I'd need protecting from my make-up. I mean, do people here steal cosmetics or something?"
My mother smiled before lightly patting Esme on the shoulder. "Don't worry, I've got things you can use." They started walking toward the trunk of Rose's car. "Your lipstick is such a lovely shade of pink. You know, I think I've got something that will match it perfectly."
Edward kept hold of my hand, jerking it a little and causing me to look up at him. "You still okay with this? Not changing your mind, are you?" he quietly asked.
"No way. You can't get rid of me that easy," I said before reaching up and taking hold of his face. "Kiss me before I have to go referee the cosmetics war that's fixin' to start up."
Once his lips were on mine, my world was right again and I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that no matter what our parents said or did, we were okay. And we'd be makin' babies before the day was over, even if it was just practicing to make them. Darn Edward and his practicality in wanting to have some time for just the two of us.
"Oh good gracious, Bella! What is that smell?" my mother shouted as I heard her and Esme coughing and gasping for breath.
"I guess they found my bouquet," I said before kissing Edward one more time.
Soon enough I was wearing my white sun dress, holding the bouquet of flowers that had been drenched in my mother's favorite Mary Kay fragrance. Though to be honest, it didn't really help get rid of the stench. I thought about just going without flowers, but they really were kind of pretty, and then Mary Jane offered me a little pre-ceremony distraction. It was the good stuff, top quality and fresh from her daddy's grow houses. After that I was feeling good and didn't have a care in the world. All I wanted was to get to the end of the aisle and kiss my man.
It didn't even worry me when my mom and Esme started comparing cosmetic line notes with one another. My mother's, "Mary Kay has a great product to help with this," statement was quickly followed by Esme's, "Wow, I didn't know that. Well, Avon started making this product that really helps with that," and so on. They were civil, and even seemed interested in what the other was saying. For a little while I was pretty sure it was just the weed making everything seem so happy and lovey, but as I watched them I started to wonder if it was something more. Maybe I wasn't the only one growing and changing. Maybe my mother really meant it when she said she'd try harder. Maybe I was more important to her than her Mary Kay reward car after all.
Of course it could have just been the calm before the storm, the lightning that was preparing to strike the church. After Rose stumbled into the Bride Room, pulling the hem of her dress down and pushing her hair back into place, it was pretty clear Emmett had caught her. But as long as her dress was in one piece and there was nothing running down her leg as she walked up the aisle ahead of me, and the lightning didn't strike me, I was fine. I was cool. I was so damn horny and aching for my man that I couldn't stand it anymore.
"Let's get this show on the road!" I yelled at the top of my lungs before tightening my grip on my stinky flowers and ordering everyone out of the room. "Mary Jane, tell the preacher man I'm ready to go!"
Once they were all gone and I was alone with my dad, I let out a deep breath and smiled. He looked so handsome in his suit, even if he couldn't quite get the jacket buttoned over his belly. I didn't care. He loved me and that's all that mattered.
"I think I managed to smooth over things with Edward's father," my dad said as I helped him straighten his tie.
"Yeah?"
He smiled at me. "Sure. How could anyone not want you for a daughter?"
Once again, my eyes started filling with tears, but I ignored them as I wrapped my arms around my dad. Or at least as far around him as I could get them. "Thank you, Daddy. I'm gonna miss you, but I'll come home every chance I get."
I felt him kiss the crown of my head as he hugged me back. "You be happy out there, Bells. Heck, maybe this will give your mother and me a reason to take a vacation. And I'll have to lose a little weight if I wanna fit into those tiny airplane seats they have now days."
"No more apple anything for you. Promise?"
"I promise," he said. "I think I'm switchin' over to strawberry. There's something about that smell that gets me."
I forced down the groan that was building because I knew why he liked the smell of strawberries so much. It was because of the strawberry scented shampoo my mother had always used. It was the one non-Mary Kay product she'd never given up. He really did love her, even if his taste buds had led him astray for a little while.
"Now, I think there's a young man waitin' out there for you. We'd better get you down that aisle before he comes lookin' for you." He smiled at me, then wiped away the few tears that were rolling down my cheeks.
A few moments later as the double doors opened and I could see the chapel, I looked at my family that was there, both my old family and my new family. And I looked at my friends who were smiling brightly at me. Edward's parents were beaming, his dad's arm wrapped tightly around his mother's waist.
"Dad, what did you say to Edward's dad to convince him?" I whispered.
He just chuckled. "No need to worry about that. Just promise me that my first grandson will be named after me."
"But what if Jasper has a son before I do?" I mean, it was pretty likely he was gonna knock up Mary Jane long before Edward got around to wanting kids.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure if he has a boy, his name will be Jerry Garcia. Or Snoop Dog. Crazy pot heads."
I laughed at his words, and then my eyes found Edward and everything else melted away. You know how in those crazy romantic comedy movies there's always that hazy moment when they see the person they're meant to be with and all the clocks stop and traffic slows down and people disappear and there's no sound or wind or anything really? Yeah, totally happened. I couldn't get down the aisle fast enough.
"Hold on there, honey. Let him look at you for a minute. He's not goin' anywhere," my dad whispered as he kept a firm hold on my hand. He was right, Edward wasn't going anywhere, and once my hand was placed in his I knew that no matter what he'd always be by my side. No matter how crazy my family and I were.
"You look so beautiful," he said.
"You, too. You're so fuckin' hot," I mumbled in awe of him. Edward smiled his swooniest panty-melting smile as the preacher suddenly coughed after hearing my words. "Oh, sorry, Father. I mean you're so freakin' hot."
"Very well, then," the preacher man said, clearing his throat. "Let's get the union started, shall we?"
And with that, I married Edward Cullen. I went into the church as Bella Swan, the non-Mary police chief's misfit daughter who didn't want to sell Mary Kay and live in a trailer, or spend her life in a small northwestern Washington town. I came out of that church as Bella Cullen, wife of the hottest man alive - a super smart graduate student who was the first boy to came along and the only one to swept her off her feet, and who was going to show her the world.
It was perfect, and everything I'd never dreamed of. But everything I'd always wanted.
