Hey it's my birthday on February Second so I thought I'd publish this chapter in celebration of that day.

Monstro Pt Two

Daisuke, Sora and the rest of their group were running through the inside of Monstro in search of Pinocchio who they had heard scream a few minutes ago. They ran into several groups of heartless along the way but they were nothing that the group could not handle.

"Pinocchio where are you?" Veemon called out for the little wooden boy his voice echoing throughout the stomach of the gigantic whale which had swallowed them and their ship whole, when he got no response he sighed sadly, "Man where'd he go?" Veemon asked the rest of the group who all shrugged their shoulders in response.

"Riku! Where are you?" Sora called out for his friend but he got no answer either from his friend, Sora sighed as they all continued to search throughout Monstro for both Pinocchio and Riku. A few minutes later the group had now arrived in a very large a spacious chamber that had several entrances and exits in it.

"Okay where do we go now?" Daisuke asked the group looking at all of the different holes leading away from the chamber that they were in, then suddenly several heartless emerged from out of nowhere and lunged towards the five of them.

"VEE-HEADBUTT." Veemon shouted as he jumped and headbutted a heartless that was coming at him while Donald whacked two with his staff in the heads making them turn into clouds of black smoke. Goofy meanwhile was ramming heartless left and right with his trusty shield leaving the rest of the heartless to Sora and Daisuke who had summoned their Keyblade's and attacked the remaining ones and turning them into clouds of black smoke, soon all he heartless had been dealt with leaving the five companions slightly exhausted from the battle.

"Honestly, those things can get really annoying," Veemon said wiping some sweat from his forehead as the rest of the group nodded their heads in agreement with his statement, however unbeknownst to them five shadows were moving towards them on the ground, everyone didn't notice the shadows until one lunged up at Goofy and tackled him making him yelp and fall through a hole, everyone turned to where he had just been but they could not see him.

"Goofy, where'd ya go?" Donald quacked out looking around the chamber before he too was tackled by a shadow and fell down the same hole as Goofy did, he quacked loudly in shock as Veemon saw him fall through the hole.

"Donald!" Veemon cried in shock before another shadow tackled him down a different hole he screamed in shock and surprise as Sora and Daisuke looked around to see where the shout had come from but all they saw was an empty chamber.

"Veemon?" Daisuke asked looking around the chamber "Where did he go?" She asked in confusion scratching her head, Sora then noticed that Goofy and Donald were missing as well.

"And where did Goofy and Donald run off too?" He asked Daisuke looking for any sign of the two, just as they turned around two shadows charged across the ground towards them and tackled them from behind shoving them down separate holes, Daisuke screamed as she flew down a tunnel before she exited the other side of the tunnel and hit the ground hard and groaned in slight discomfort.

"Oh, I gotta stop doing that," She moaned getting to her knees and looking around to see that she was all alone in another chamber a bit smaller then the one she was in before she was shoved down the hole she groaned "Great, just great now I'm stuck in a whale, and I'm alone," Daisuke complained getting to her feet. "Hey Veemon! Donald! Goofy! Sora! Where are you guys?" She shouted in the hope of finding the others but she had no such luck, "I guess I'd better start looking for them, God knows what they'll get into without me to save their butts," she said to herself before walking down the fleshy and squishy corridor that was the giant whale known as Monstro. She walked for a while until she heard somebody coming up from behind her and she quickly pivoted and summoned her courage Keyblade and swung it only for it to be blocked by a golden Keyblade, she gasped as she saw a familiar face grinning at her.

"Willis?" She asked in shock seeing the blonde grin at her.

"Hey Dai, long time no see Huh?" He asked her with a chuckle as he lowered his Keyblade with Daisuke doing the same.

"Willis, what are you doing here?" Daisuke asked the blonde American DigiDestined who was still grinning at her.

"Well I got swallowed by this thing, I suppose that's how you're here as well?" Willis asked Daisuke who nodded her head.

"Yeah, but I got separated from the others, and now I've got to find them again, think you could help me out?" Daisuke asked Willis who grinned and nodded his head.

"Sure, I got nothing better to do, I'll help ya," Willis told her with a grin making Daisuke smile and nod her head before both she and Willis set off in search of the rest of the group.

"So, Dai, what's that kid Sora's problem with me?" The blonde asked Daisuke who looked at him and shrugged her shoulders at the question.

"Honestly, I've got no clue, he never acted that way before," Daisuke answered him, Willis then got a grin on his face as he leaned closer to Daisuke and whispered

"Maybe he's jealous of me?" He suggested as Daisuke flushed in embarrassment and sputtered.

"Don't be stupid, why would he be jealous of you?" She asked him who grinned at her,

"Hm I'm not sure, maybe it's because of my good looks, or my witty charm, or the fact I'm a close friend of yours, a very close friend of yours," Willis grinned draping his arm over Daisuke who scoffed and sighed with a roll of the eyes,

"Okay lover boy, back off I'm not in the mood," Daisuke told Willis before walking away from the blonde leaving him slack jawed, he sighed and smirked before following after the mahogany haired girl as they walked through the inside of Monstro. A few minutes later they were nearing the end of the corridor they were in when they heard several shouts and a distinct quack that echoed throughout the whale that Daisuke recognised. "That was Donald!" Daisuke shouted in shock.

"Well come on, let's go!" Willis said to her as she nodded and they both set off towards the source of the noise coming from Donald who was still quacking wildly, soon the duo arrived at a very large chamber and what they saw in the middle was baffling to them, it looked like a gigantic parasite with a cage like thing on its stomach and Pinocchio, Donald, Goofy and Veemon were inside the cage trapped.

"Veemon!" Daisuke shouted to her partner who looked at her and waved.

"Hey, Dai, Willis mind getting us outta here?" The blue dragon asked Daisuke and the blonde who both nodded their heads.

"Hey Dai, there you are!" Daisuke turned to see Sora and Riku run up to a separate platform of the chamber.

"About time you got here you two!" Daisuke called to them with a smile who both nodded back at her.

"Sora, let's go!" Riku called summoning a crimson and black blade, Sora nodded and summoned his Keyblade as well before they charged towards the large parasitic creature in an effort to free their friends. Daisuke nodded at Willis who nodded back at her but before either of them could draw their Keyblade's a heartless dropped down in front of them, it was wearing a ridiculous outfit and it had a wooden cross on it's back and was wearing white gloves.

"What in the heck is that?" Willis asked Daisuke in shock who shook her head in confusion.

"Uh it's a heartless, but this one looks like a marionette though," Daisuke answered Willis in confusion as they both looked at the heartless who looked back at them before it lifted it's hands at them and shot streams of lights at Daisuke who crossed her arms to block the attack but she felt nothing hit her she lowered her arms and grinned and summoned her friendship Keyblade.

"That didn't work pal," Daisuke taunted the heartless marionette who cocked it's head to the side before it pulled its arm back and Daisuke suddenly went skidding across the ground towards the heartless.

"Daisuke!" Willis shouted in shock as Sora and Riku saw Daisuke turn around and the heartless held it's hands out as Daisuke found her arms lift her Keyblade up, the heartless then flexed it's fingers and Daisuke found herself compelled to run towards Willis who yelped as Daisuke swung her Keyblade at him, he ducked the swipe and summoned his Keyblade and blocked another attack from the controlled Daisuke who sent an apologetic look to the blonde before she jumped and twisted in mid air and delivered an axe kick to the blonde knocking him back, then Daisuke was forced to jump again towards Willis and attack again, he body was limp because of the heartless and she was simply it's puppet as she attacked Willis again.

"Let her go you heartless!" Veemon shouted towards the marionette heartless who pulled Daisuke back and made her turn towards Veemon and blow a raspberry at him and pull faces infuriating the dragon at how Daisuke was being forced to act, Willis tried to get the marionette heartless while it was occupied making Daisuke taunt Veemon but as he got close Daisuke was forced to jump backwards and block the attack defending the heartless.

"Darn, this is getting tricky," Willis thought to himself as Daisuke wheeled around and kicked him in the side nocking him backwards, Daisuke then leapt at him and was forced to punch Willis hard in the jaw sending him reeling as Daisuke charged again but Willis jumped over her and saw the strings attached to Daisuke's body, he nodded and swung his Keyblade at the strings and Daisuke went to block but the strings were cut and Daisuke collapsed to the ground in a heap before Willis helped her up.

"Thank you Willis, now let's get this guy!" Daisuke shouted before she was enveloped in a crimson light and when said light died down she was now holding a crimson Keyblade with the crest of love as the hilt of it, Daisuke grinned as she examined her new Keyblade before she swing it and a gust of wind flew towards the marionette heartless sending it flying high into the air, when it crashed into the ground Willis charged and bifurcated it making it turn to smoke and vanish he then smiled at Daisuke who smiled back at the blonde before Riku was sent flying into Willis and Daisuke looked to see Sora get thrown around like a rag doll.

"Hold on Sora!" Daisuke shouted as she summoned her courage Keyblade and launched a fireball at the parasite making it squeal in pain, Sora looked up to see Daisuke attacking the parasite with fireballs and fire blasts, he grinned as he got up and charged towards the cage where Veemon, Goofy and Donald along with Pinocchio were, he swung his Keyblade against the bars of the cage and they cracked but didn't break, the parasite knocked him back with a tentacle and he crashed into Daisuke sending them both tumbling to the ground, Willis and Riku nodded to one another as they charged the parasite and attacked the cage and finally cracked it enough for Veemon to burst his way through freeing everybody from the parasite. The parasite squealed in anger but Daisuke got an idea and she fired a fireball and then sent a burst of wind at it making the fireball grow in size and strength before it collided and burned the parasite completely to ashes.

"Alright we did it!" Sora cheered as everyone else nodded their heads in agreement when they all started to hear rumbling and groaning,

"Oh no! Monstro is going to blow!" Pinocchio cried in shock.

"What!" Daisuke shouted.

"Lets go!" Sora shouted as everyone nodded but when Daisuke looked around she couldn't find Willis or Riku at all.

"Dai come on!" Goofy shouted to her she nodded as they all ran back towards the ship and once they got there they saw Geppetto running up to them.

"Oh my goodness, we must leave quickly!" He told them as everyone nodded and they climbed into the Gummi ship.

"Hold on tight!" Daisuke shouted to the others as Monstro sneezed loudly and the force of the sneeze blew them out if Monstro and away from him as he swam away.

"Phew! That was close!" Donald quacked in relief as everyone else nodded their heads.

"Great so where to now guys?" Daisuke asked.

"Let's get Pinocchio and Geppetto back to Traverse Town, then we can continue with our journey," Veemon said as Daisuke nodded as she piloted the Gummi ship back towards traverse town.
