Anyways I want to apologize to you guys- my readers. I've been in the hospital if you don't read my other story for doing something really inner Tomboy in me told me to do it, so blame her! Also I have finals for the whole week so it's been stressful.
To leave it off, I'm sorry. I hope you like the story and don't forget to review. I love the reviews you guys sent me, I missed them so much.
Chapter 13

''LET ME TAKE IT APART, DAMMIT!'' Elaine, was under Crawford and Luana holding her down for the 10th time the past week. Kate just sat in the back round sip her cup of coffee as she watched.'' Elaine, you're scaring, Ollie!'' Crawford yelled.
Elaine shot a glare at Crawford,'' Like a give a-''
''Language.'' Kate murmured.
''Elaine, calm. down.'' Barlow said, very poorly as he joined Kate for the cup of coffee, calmly.
''But it's been around 2 weeks!'' Elaine whined as she pouted to take a moment to relax.
''Elaine, he had 2 flights cancelled not to mention he had to take a small trip in Fiore to visit the Ringtown Leader.'' Barlow continued.
Kate almost chock on her coffee, the ranger leader...it was that guy, that told her to be a top ranger. She wonder was he's been, it's been a long time since she seen him. Would he ever remember a Nature Freak such as herself, when he had a region of people to protect? Kate sighed as she continued to listen to the scene.
''But I can't wait!'' Elaine screamed. Crawford began to tie her up then was placed right next to Ollie. Oh, you should feel bad for the guy, he had a pale face.
''It's just 7 minutes.'' Barlow countered back,'' Oh and Nature, I need you to pick up the Professor Hastings. He should be on the Vein forest by now.'' She nodded as Pachirisu climbed up, her shoulder.
She walked out the door seeing the sunrise of the town, yes it was pretty early, 7:30 to be exact. She felt like she would fall right down and start catching some Z's but she needed to stay alerted.
She stumbled to the Main trail of the forest to see an elderly man...talking to himself.
''If I find out whose prank that was to put that barrier over the Lookout Ridge, I would...'' The elderly, mumbled,'' But it didn't serve a strong position in it's defense since I just had to kick it to make it collapse it's amusing... Only if that young Ranger stop trying to force me to take a Staraptor here. I need the excises after having that jet leg.''
Kate just watched him lost in thought but then reminded herself why she was here,'' I beg your pardon, Professor?''
He glanced up,'' Eavesdropping, are we?'' As his brow rose up.
Kate took a second of shock of misunderstanding,'' N-no, sir.'' Kate gave a faint blush, from the response,'' I was sent here to escort you back to the base.''
He humped,'' Well after that scene you pulled back there, I was a bit surprised that you came all the way here; just for my protection.''
By this point, this man of technology had seem to get her flustered and beyond confuse; just after one conversation with him. No one in her life made her feel like this, he was sure, was a powerful professor.
Before she could ask about him last statement,'' How about we get to the base by jogging back?''
She didn't have a chance to answer, when he had already made it half way back. Kate gave a small freak before she went catching him, she was impress how far and fast he could go on his feet for a man his age. Before she knew it they were both inside the base.
''FINALLY!'' Elaine, screamed in excitement as she broke free of the ropes, binding her from causing any damage. She went to the side of the machine with bright stars in her eyes as she had many several sharp objects in her hand.
''Maybe we could go inside and rip in from the inside? Or test it on how it was resist to may dangers elements and she how it can withstand? Or, or!-'' Her fast little experiments where cut off.
''No, no none of that. First we need to see what it's propose is then find out how it works as we able to identify it's materials.'' He started
''Hm?'' He said as he looked closer at it's appearance. ''I've seen this very recently in Pueltown, many young men where carrying them. It took a few of them just to carry one, it just assume it was a new design of mailboxes in stock.''
Really mailboxes?
''Alright I see the picture of the situation.'' Barlow said,'' Alright Luana...and Kellyn, you will both take the mission for further investigation.''

''WHYYYYYYYYY CAN'T YOU JUST TALKKKKKKK OLLLLIE!?''
''Oh, why the ears?'' Kate whimpered as she tired to keep the sound out of her head.
Her screaming voice bounced off the walls of the Lookout Ridge, since it the walls right underneath it where very able to produce reflection of sound so it was able to increase and multiply the echo.
Well...more like the screaming echo.
''Oh, I'm sorry Ka-'' Luana cut herself realizing her mistake,'' No, I meant Kellyn.''
''I'm sorry! I guess I still have some adjusting to do.'' She apologized.
Kate started to wave her hand back and forth with a smile,'' No, no, it's alright, it's not your fault.''
''Well, good because that was good to say!'' She in yelled in relief but making it bounce of the Ridge once again following Kate groaning again as she placed her hand on her head.'' Oh, no I did it again!'' Luana cried as she went to Kate's side.
''No, it's not that...'' Kate mange to answer,'' It's that horrible sound again...it must be near by.''
''That sound?''
''That's how it sounds like!?'' She continued on.
''It's horrible!'' Luana gave a small screech. Luana did feel it but somehow it wasn't server, it gets annoying like the hiccups that how it can be described. Kate took interest that it didn't have much affect on her than it did on herself, was it because of her hearing? Or was it something else?
''Come on, we need to stop that!'' Luana cried as she help Kate up and both started to head to Pueltown's entrance.

Kate felt her head get even worse when she got to the front entrance of Pueltown. Luana had to a moment to take in the whole scene, she couldn't believe her eyes. She could only stare at them and have sympathy. They were all going insane with the bare of suffering attached to them.
''I-...I don't know what to say to this...'' Luana confessed as she still had her hands covering her mouth.
''I know, I know and that's why we have to stop it.'' Kate said to comfort her.
''Rangers? Rangers! Thank Arceus that you're here to help!''
Kate turned around along with Luana to see a man with a tropical flowery shirt, sandals and...some odd bright pink hair; rushing up to them with panic.
''Name's Brook and I need your help.'' He said,'' They been acting a bit crazy since people in black were carrying mailboxes then when they left them the Pokémon started to act crazy!''
Really, is everyone around here an idiot?
''It's alright, we will take care of it.'' Luana told.
''I'll take the west part of town and you go east. We need to slip up to cover more ground and save time.'' Kate explained.
''Right. I'll meet up with you at the port.'' Luana responded as she started to take care of the one ahead of them.
''Oh and Ka- Kellyn?''
Kate turned around right before she was out of sight,'' Yes?''
''Thanks, thanks for making this more easier and fun.'' Luana gave a small smile.
Kate was a bit taken back by the thought but returned the smile,'' No problem.'' She mange to say,'' My lady.'' She finished off with a smirked before dashing down the lane.

Right away Kate saw a blue machine right next to...the electric gate.
What are the odds?
She smirked as thought of this as child's play as she climbed up the blue machine, ready to jump right over the Pachirisu, scoffed as she jumped into the air and gave the gate a thunderbolt to zap it right open. ''You're one hell of a Pachirisu.'' Kate commented. She smiled as she went back up to her shoulder.
''AHHHHH HELP ME! PLEASE!''
Kate rushed up the stairs to see what was wrong, she continued up to see a light blonde headed girl being surrounded by Pokémon. But it wasn't just any girl, it was Issac's little sister, Melody.
''Don't worry! Brook will save the day!'' Kate glanced back to see Brock running towards her direction.
''SUPER BROOK JUMP!'' He mange to pull off him super jump but he realized that he was also trapped too, so he began to panic.
''Um...A little help here, Ranger?''
''Pachirisu?'' Kate cued.
''Pacha!'' She squealed as she released another thunderbolt to the blue machine right near by. The machine, blew up and burnt over to the side then the Pokémon finally run over and once again thanked Kate and Pachirisu then rushed off, leaving an unharmed Melody and Brock.
''Thank you, big brother's friend.'' Melody thanked before leaping in for a hug. Kate gave a light blush by the sudden contact.
''You're very welcome, my princess.'' It was Melody's turn to start to blush.
''I saw some shady guys going near the harbor.'' She murmured under her breath. Kate smiled by the new information as she gave one last hug before she rushed back down the stairs heading towards the harbor.
''Ha, need to hurry.'' She said to herself trying to control her breath from nervously.
''Wait up!'' Kate glanced back to the voice see a tired Luana running towards her. She had to slowed down so she would be able could catch up with her. ''I got everything in the west side of town under control. An citizen told me they were here so I went here.'' She explained as she continued to run.
''You're right, now let's hurry.''

After a few more seconds of running they where able to reach the port. But they had to remind silent, they didn't want anyone to notice them.
''The hell do the Gigaremo have to weigh a ton!?'' A man in black started.
''Yeah, it starting to feel like I'm carrying Jim.'' Another started to agree.
''Hey! I'm not that overweight!'' A man that didn't really seem to fit the uniform, lied.
''I'm not complaining, if we pull this off the boss might give us a raise, so shut the fuck up!'' The man that had his red hair sticking out with his face uncovered ordered to the rest.
There where about 4 beeps coming from the one in charge's pocket. He pulled away from the mechanic and glanced down with a scowl. ''Shit, the Rangers destroyed all the Gigaremos. We need to get out of here!"
Kate got up ignoring Luana's pleads,'' Why the hell are you all doing this!?''
The men turned around, the one that was over weight was actually dumb enough to actually respond.'' We are Dim Sun a organization that plans to take over the world by taking control of Pokémon. They will be come our slaves!''
Enslave them?...Something snapped.
''You sick bastards.'' She growled, with a dangerously low demonic voice. They all flinched back with Luana in the process. She only seen this side of her once, back in the forest when her sister was in danger, but this time was different somehow...
''What are you, idiots doing!? It's just a boy!'' The leader yelled, serious disappointment.
''Right, boss. Rattata seize him!''
As expected five Rattata came charging in with their bloody shot eyes piercing at her. Kate gave a unseen smirk before she pulled out her Styler and made the capture in 5 seconds.
"Heh, is that all you got?'' She said with a twisted grin.
''N-no! Toxicrogunk, show him was we can actually do.''
Kate, had to admit the Pokémon had impressive speed but.. it stood no chance for Kate's capturing skills. It took a few more seconds longer to capture since it disperse it's toxic everywhere but she mange. She really just want to talk but, it would be wasteful, it couldn't hear her.
The group took a moment to process of what happen before trying to retreat to the near by boat with the remaining yellow Gigaremo. Even thought she seemed to won the battle, she just needed more, it didn't satisfied.
''Oh, boys~''
They turned around wonder what was with the sudden change of voice.
''Give me a call. I'm really into the bad boys~.''
With the sudden confusion with blushes they stood still processing the statement.
''Too bad, I have to stun those pretty little faces of ours.''
Kate reached into her left shoe to grab out an unknown device that none in the near by area knew about. She flipped a switch as she zap onto the boat but it fail since it was currently moving.
''The openly gay Ranger tired to kill us!'' They were able to scream, as they finally where able to have the boat turned on. They seemed to finally get out of the situation but it left Kate almost crushing her weapon.
''Stupid Paralyze and it's aiming issues.'' She murmured. She could sit there and let them get away so she started to run near the sea. But someone stopped her, a dark haired girl, Luana.
''Just let them go...you seemed tired out.'' Luana softly pleaded.
Kate was about respond but then came Brook rushing to the scene but he was going to fast he was going to-
''SUPER BROOK JUMP!''
Splash.
Well there goes the moment.
''He has his sandals in his mouth.'' Kate's sweatdropped.
''Is he going to be ok?'' Luana asked.
''Oh, yes he will he should come back there is a reason why this part of the sea to known to as Salty.'' The man in charge of the port replied.
Soon enough he came back to the land, with him soak to the bone,'' Blah! It's too salty for my eyes!''
The two girl laughed, forgetting all the bad things in life.

''I see the picture, you two mission clear!'' Barlow stated. The girls did their poses to celebrate.
''The Professor needs to have further inspection on the...Gigaramo?''
''Gigaremo.'' Kate corrected.
''Eh, I was close though.'' Barlow shrugged.
In the back round you could hear the argument the Professor and Elaine.'' Maybe if we could smash it with it's mallet!'' Elaine suggested as she brought out of the mallet she spoke of.
''No, no that won't be necessary!'' The Professor pleaded.
''Ugh, I think you should probably get in early. You don't want to stay here.'' Barlow warned as they once again saw the stars inside Elaine's eyes. Kate and the rest agreed before dashing into their rooms.
But Kate didn't really care if they were all insane, she would never leave their sides because they stood by her for a long time.
She finally had the feelings of real friends.
