As Mikey wandered through the sewer tunnels, he hummed a little tune to keep his mind off of things. He swayed his hips rhythmically to the imaginary beat playing in his mind. Mikey continued doing his little jig before abruptly halting. He tapped a finger on his chin. "What does Raph do exactly?" he asked himself. The only answers that he could come up with were: fight, growl, argue and get angry…yep that sums him all up. On his way up the ladder he practiced various growls and grunts to imitate Raph. A random hobo passing by overheard the noises coming from under the manhole cover and backed away slowly. Once Mikey was sure that no one was around, he exited the manhole, placing the lid back over the opening. After heading up the fire escape, on to the roof tops, he looked for any sign of the vigilante. "Casey! Casey!" he called out, slightly above a whisper.

"Over here Raph!" came a voice crawling up the other side of the building.

Mikey looked at Casey, who was nearly out of breath. Casey climbed over the edge of the rooftop and ran towards the other. He immediately hunched over and grabbed his knees. "You won't believe it!" he said in between each pant, "There's a bunch of Purple Dragons not too far from here! If we hurry now we can probably get to all of them!" Now it was Mikey's turn to speak. He paused for a moment."Remember how Raph acts!" he told himself. "Act now and think later."

The red banded turtle gave a wide malicious grin. "Sounds great! Let's do this!" he exclaimed in a deeper tone than normal.

Casey cocked an eyebrow, "What's wrong with your voice?"

It took Mikey a minute to realize that since he was already in Raph's body he didn't have to make his voice deeper because he already sounded like him. He mentally kicked himself."Um…no reason."

Aside from the random change in the turtle's voice, Casey noticed something else that was different. Eyeing the nunchakus in Mikey's weapon holders, he asked, "Aren't those your brother's weapons?"

Mikey placed a hand on the back of his neck. He avoided the boy's gaze as he tried to come up with a story that would pass for the time being. "Well sensei made us switch weapons for some lame training exercise. Pretty messed up right?"

Casey crossed his arms. "Gee I'd hate to be the one who had to switch with Donnie. His wooden stick wouldn't do much in a fight." Mikey glanced at the wooden hockey stick that Casey fought with and shook his head but kept listening to what the boy had to say. "The nunchucks look kind of cool though."

Kind of cool?! "My—uh—Mikey's nunchucks are awesome just like their owner!" he protested.

This sent Casey into a fit of laughter, leaving Mikey dumbstruck. About thirty seconds later Casey's laughter had slowly subsided. "Good one Raph!"

"Good one?" Was that supposed to be funny?

"Yeah, you always complain about Mikey being a complete goofball because he always annoys you and now you're acting like he's the best thing in the world!"

Casey started laughing again while Mikey held an unamused face, "Can we just go fight some Purple Dragon's already?"He asked impatiently.

OooOooO

{Three Hours Later}

April and Donnie were in the lab. April was busy observing her three fingers, moving them in various directions while Donnie sat in front of the Kraang device. He had been in that same position for about thirty minutes now. His eyes never leaving the object instead they focused on the device as if it would move at any given moment. April's attention moved from her fingers to the tails of her mask. For some reason she found sitting there extremely boring. It was like her body was begging to run around or do something energetic like skateboarding or break dancing. Suddenly Donnie jerked forward casing April to jump in response.

"Incredible!" he remarked.

"What is it Donnie?" she asked, forgetting all about her earlier feelings.

"How could I have not noticed before?" he asked, mainly directed towards himself. Upon realizing that someone had asked a question he turned his head. "The answer to our problem is so simple! All I have to do is rearrange and cut most of the wires in this contraption. Once I'm finished, the machine will be up and running and the effects should end up being reversed!"

April looked completely overjoyed after hearing the great news. "Really?!" she asked in disbelief. It sounded almost too good to be true. Her eyes were wide with anticipation as she waited for an answer. Donnie replied with a simple nod of approval. She beamed at him. "Okay no pressure but how long do you think it will take?"

Donnie pondered for a minute "I estimate about two hours if I'm not interrupted in the process, is that alright for you?"

The former mutated turtle made a small yelp when April gave him an unexpected hug. She gave him a swift peck on the cheek leaving Donnie with the feeling of butterflies in his stomach. He silently cursed the sudden growl of a stomach that interrupted them. He wished that moment would've lasted forever. The next thing he knew, April was already halfway to the door. "Well I'm off to go fix some breakfast," April announced," you should eat something too. I don't want you to make my body starve to death." As a sign of commitment he put a hand over his chest, "I promise." After realizing what his hand was close to touching, he blushed madly and raised his hand so that it was in the form of an awkward solute. This body would definitely take some getting used to…

OooOooO

Mikey took down the last Purple Dragon and raised his nunchakus in victory. "Oh yeah! Booyakasha!"

Mikey didn't understand why but taking out the Purple Dragons made him feel really enthusiastic. Don't get him wrong he did enjoy pummeling Purple Dragons here and there but this feeling was the type of feeling he got whenever he beat his high score or succeeded in a prank. Casey put his hockey stick back in his weapon holder. "Isn't that what your brother usually says? I thought you said it was lame," he smirked.

Mikey lowered his nunchakus, "I did?!" he said in utter shock. "I mean, that's what I thought at first until I realized that booyakasha is an awesome word that someone like me would never have the brains or the creativity to make up." How dare Raph insult his favorite word?!

Casey just stared at Mikey and shrugged, "Cool, but I'll just stick to goongala."

Mikey glanced at Raph's T-Phone. Seven fifty-three in the morning?! He had to go home soon. "Okay I think I'm gonna call it a night…or morning and go home." He said while stretching his arms.

Casey gawked in disbelief, "What?! The night's still young!"

"It's almost eight in the morning and besides Leo will kill me if I come home too late."

The vigilante raised an eyebrow. "Since when did you care about what Leo says?"

Unable to come up with an answer, Mikey just stared blankly at Casey. He's right. Raph would never stop a night fighting Purple Dragons because Leo said so. Casey didn't give him time to answer before dragging Mikey by the arm. "Come on Raph, don't be such a stick in the mud."

I guess it wouldn't hurt to stay out a little later.

OooOooO

Donnie prepared to cut the first wire. The silence around him allowed him to stay focused. Cutting the wire wasn't so hard; he just had to make sure he cut it in the right spot. A small drip of sweat ran down his cheek the more he concentrated on the task at hand. Just as he was about to finally cut the wire an unexpected urge caused him to cease abruptly. "Oh no! Not now!" he thought. He crossed his legs in hope that it would cause the pain to lessen. Of all times, why did Mother Nature decide to play tricks on him now?! He bit his lower lip. He tried to ignore the discomfort but that was all he could think about. Okay, He had one of two options. One, hold his urine inside and just endure the pain, which was not a good idea because the more his bladder stretched the worse it felt. His other option would be to go to the bathroom and let nature take its course...

Well that sums up chapter twelve! There is much more to come but in the meantime read and review :D!
