The Running away (again)

"So will you run away with me 'Prince' Natsu" I asked him once more, emphasizing the word 'Prince' (its my turn to annoy him) HAHA.
The atmosphere here is getting kinda awkward.
I mean I was already madly blushing here and he was just.. He was just standing with no emotion shown on his face while he was drenched with wine.

People around us were whispering bad things about me. I ruin Natsu's birthday but here I'am I look like a fool waiting for him to take my hand.

"Luce..."

DON'T YAH ANSWER! I'm not yet ready to hear your answer yet.

Let me start first in the beginning.

[Earlier Today]

"Lucy..." I opened then closed my eyes.

Five minutes more.

"Dang it! WAKE UP LUCY-SAN!"

"NYAH!" The little blue haired girl giggled.

I'm starting to have a heart attack.

Wait where am I? I observe my surrounding I'm on a train and I'm cold, I blinked.

Wait..

"WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING IN THIS TRAIN EARLY IN THE MORNING!?"
"LUCY-SAN! Calm down! Natsu-nii carried you here" Wendy said. I raised my eyebrow.
"Natsu did what?"
"I'll explain everything we made a deal remember?" Wendy said and smiled.

I nodded.

Did I won? I remember that I did. My head is aching badly, I guess I'm experiencing hangover right now. I know that I won but, I have this feeling in my mind that I'm forgetting something important.
I shrug, its a drag to force myself to remember. I shook that thought off and focus instead on Wendy.

"Tell me everything Wendy" I said.

It was silent for awhile the sound of the train is the only thing I can hear.

"I'll start from the beginning, Natsu-nii has been criticize by people since the day he was born. He was trying his best to receive everyone's pleasure but the opposite was given to him, since then he act cold and arrogant towards to everyone even to us. The truth is My father din't banish him he was the one who ran away from home."

Is this means that both of us are similar?
I've been treating Natsu in an unkind way I've been saying mean things to him.
I din't know that a jerk like him has a story like this.

"Wendy, why would people criticize him, I mean he was the prince right?" I asked, Wendy sighs.
"Because, Natsu-nii was cursed by Zeref..."

I looked down.
I also remembered that I haven't yet fully removed that curse on him. Urgh! I'm pissed..
I want to see Natsu right now! This is madness!

"That's it! I'm going to see him NOW" I stood up.
Wendy startled by my sudden reaction.

"Sorry to ruin your moment, but Lucy-san you do realize that were on the train right?" My eyes widen. "WENDY WHAT AM I DOING HERE?" I ask. Wendy sweat drop. "Lucy-san please be sited" and I did I was too focused on him that I suddenly forgot that I was still on the train.

Wendy sighed.

"As I told you earlier Natsu carried you here, He said he won't go anywhere without you"

OMG Natsu, I also won't go anywhere without you (heart)

"He was also saying that his 'pet' is no good in directions" even if that is true my moment was..
My moment was ruined I look at Wendy smugly.

CURSE you NATSU DRAGNEEL!

"Oh Wendy, I forgot to ask can you tell me your reason on why you came here?" I asked. Wendy giggled.
"Actually its Natsu-nii's Birth-"
"WHAT ITS HIS BIRTHDAY!? AND YOU DIN'T TELL ME EARLIER!? WHY WENDY? WHY..."
"Lucy-san calm down" She said again, I pouted.
"Sorry..." She made a small laugh.
"This was supposedly the mission of Happy-san, to bring Natsu-nii back home but its been years since that mission was given to him. So me and Carla took this opportunity and bring Natsu-nii back, and also Lucy-san the reason why I want you to be the first place on that contest is because that cash price was my only chance on buying Natsu-nii's gift."

I sighed.

"I see its his birthday, hmp. I don't even have anything to give to him." I said in a depress tone. Wendy stood up putting her both hands on my left and right shoulder making my eyes to open widely, she narrowed her eyes on me.

"Lucy-san" Wendy said in her serious tone.

"Your 'love' is enough for my Natsu-nii" She added. I blinked twice and blushed.

*speechless*

My eyes widen a large building with high thick walls made me surprise as I stare on it. So this is the house, (no wrong term) so this was the castle of Natsu Dragneel. After arriving Wendy already left saying she was going to buy some strawberry juice and Natsu's gift.
I stared on my black wrist band and sighed.

"I don't have anything to give to him" I murmured.

"Oi! Blond wolf, how dare you to make me wait again" My depressed faced changed,
I narrowed my eyes to the idiot pink haired.. Bast-
He paced his way to me combing his hair with his fingers ( with wind effect )
my jaw drop as I was looking at him he was eyeing on me. Ugh stupid Natsu..

Its like he always make me think, again and again on what love truly means.

"Blondie, stop starring on me like that" He said, without noticing he was already close to me.

You idiot. I pinched both of his cheeks.

"Oh, its because I just missed my 'Master' so much that I want to keep him forever until his last breath"
That sentence was half sarcastic and let me say its half true.
He was looking at me with no reaction on his face.
I was still pinching him and its awkward.

He grab my both of my hands on his face, I immediately shook them off because I suddenly felt shock like I was being zapped by lightning at the moment he touched me.

"Luce, you're acting weird"

Yep, I know that too well Natsu. I started to be weird since chapter 9. Your just too dense to just notice it now.

"Ah! Daughter in law!" I startled as a terrifying familiar voice breaks my peaceful mind.
"Lucy dear, its been awhile you haven't changed at all"

I bowed my head.

"Greetings, Its nice to see you both again Queen Grandine, King Igneel"
I lift my head and saw both of them smiling as they marched their way to us.

"What? Luce? You know them?" Natsu asks.
"Natsu, You don't remember?" The Queen asked. Natsu shook his head. "Well that's your problem" The Queen replied.

The King eyed on me.

'I hope you still remember your punishment for breaking the law' his expression said.

I made a nervous laugh.

"Luce? Are you alright?" Natsu asked. 'NO!' my expression said.
"Lucy dear from now on I want you to call me as your Mommy" The Queen said. My eyes widen.

HOW CAN SHE STILL REMEMBER THAT SCENE WHILE NATSU CAN'T?

I madly blushed, I can't look at Natsu anymore.
"Mom, stop that" Natsu said smugly. The Queen sidled to him and hits Natsu on his back.

The king looked at me with an expression saying.

'Lucy she's waiting for you to say it'

I nod and suddenly felt embarrass.

"M-m-m-mo-Mommy.." I sounded like a child being thought how to speak words.
A wide grin appeared on her face she looked at me with satisfaction.

The King clings to my left arm and pulled me away to Natsu.
"Daddy, will be taking Lucy. See you later Honey, Natsu"

I glance at Natsu who was surprise from what happen while the Queen was still in her daydream mode,
and my expression was saying.

'NATSU HELP ME'

The King Igneel replied with his expression
'sssshhh! Its Natsu's birthday, and your punishment is to help me do this'

"Hey, Dad Luce is coming with me" Natsu said as he grab my arm into the King's grasp.
"Natsu, Lucy need to do her punishment" The King said. Natsu narrowed his eyes on him

'Lucy! Do something!' the King said in his expression.
I looked at him confused. 'oh and also, I want you to call me Dad' he added.

My eyes widen. WHAT!? Whats wrong with them?

"NATSU" Happy appeared flying his way to us.
"Dad is right Natsu, I need to be punish" I said to him. Natsu raised his eyebrow and looked totally confused.
"Luce, what is this punishment you-"The King cuts his words pushed him to Happy, then dragged me away from him.

"Seriously, his starting be over possessive" The King said smugly.
I sweat drop.

"D-d-da-DAD! Do it Faster!" I yelled while wiping the sweat in my forehead.
"Lucy can't you see I'm busy watching 'this' and tell your celestial spirit to stop holding 'it' she's not even doing anything." The King said.
"Dang it! We don't have any time left!" I said already panicking.
"Princess, I'm still holding this" Virgo said.

I put my palm on my face.

BANG

The door was widely open.

"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING HONEY!? YOU BETRAYED ME AND THE WORST IS YOU DID 'THAT' TO MY INNOCENT DAUGHTER-"

The Queen with a surprised expression stopped, while the King was doing his best to hide his strawberry apron.

Me and Virgo are in the kitchen with King. My punishment was to help him to bake a cake in Natsu's birthday. We were down to the fifth trial I was trying to teach him but it was hopeless. I summoned Virgo instead but I was wrong she did nothing but to stand at the middle holding a spatula and I clearly told her to use that in mixing the flour.

The Queen was shock to the actions of the King. She made a small laugh and dragged me out.
"Honey, I'll be taking Lucy now, its already time for the party"
"WAIT! The cake hasn't been-"

The Queen closed the kitchen door, stared at me and smirked.

I sighed.

Okay here we go again.

The Queen dragged me into their huge dressing room.
My eyes were full of excitement and amazement.

"Y-you have so many clothes" I said as my eyes sparkled.
"That's not all I also bring some strawberry juice." Wendy said.
"Lets start dressing girls!" The Queen said. Both of them giggled,
I smiled.

While drinking the third glass of strawberry juice the Queen and Wendy are both looking for a perfect dress that suits me, I told them everything is fine but they insisted saying they want to give me the best.

I feel like I'm having a real family its so nice and warm.
Thank you for this day Natsu, I already know what to give to you.

It was already seven pm when both of them finished dressing me.
My hair was perfectly braided and I was wearing a beautiful light green gown.

"You're so beautiful Lucy-san" Wendy said with her sparkling eyes.
"My Daughter in law is just so perfect" The Queen said.

BAM

"LUCE!"

Our eyes widen as both of us starred on each other.
He was wearing a black vest with matching black pants and shoes.

I recovered immediately but he was still speechless, I stick my tongue out and laughed at his surprised face. He shook his head and narrowed his eyes on me, Natsu grabbed my hand then both of us ran out. I can hear Wendy and the Queen giggling and of course I was already blushing.

Natsu was still speechless while walking me and OMG he was still holding my hand!

My mouth open I was about to break to silence but then..

"N-Natsu, I need to go to-" He stopped my words and lifted my chin we were now inches away.
My eyes widen.
"You're leaving me again? I resist this damn day without you and now you're leaving me again?" He asked with his serious tone. His onyx eyes were focusing on me.

NATSU I don't want to leave you its just that I really need to do this.

"Natsu, I really need to let this go.." I manage to say, I gulp.
"Luce, do you really want to leave me that badly? Am I not that good Master to you?"

OMG I can't fight this feeling anymore.

"NATSU WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? I NEED TO GO TO THE RESTROOM, I REALLY WANT TO PEE"
He looked at me surprised. He cleared his throat he felt embarrass.

I walked quickly. Hold it Lucy almost there..

"Luce you look like a penguin" Natsu said. I looked at him with a sarcastic smile.
He pulled me carried me to his arms and rushed to the nearest restroom.
You can already guess what I look Its either embarrass or surprise plus a blushing face.

"Natsu you can let go of me now" I said.
"Are you sure?"
"Of course" I said smugly. He puts me down slowly

"aaahhh" I feel relieve, I want to stay here forever.

"LUCE!? Are you alright in there!?"
Natsu asked while knocking the door loudly.

NATSU I'M ENJOYING THE MOMENT HERE

"YES! And don't break the door!" I shouted.
"but-"
"NATSU wait for me outside!"

I can hear him stomping his feet.
I also need for a moment of privacy for goodness sake.

The night was calling me.

When I went out Natsu was already gone, I can hear the noise of the people up to here.
I felt uneasy so I rushed and look for him.

I gasp, everything was perfectly decorated. Everyone was looking flawlessly.
But he wasn't. This was his party but he looked like a silhouette he was doing his best to please everyone.

My reason for running away at home because of freedom is nothing compare to his.
I hate it, I hate to see Natsu in this state.
I grab a glass of wine and paced my way to him.
I smiled as everyone I passed became silent and eyed on me.

The piano started to play I stopped and glance on Happy playing it.
I continued walking and glance back to Natsu, his jaw drop the people moved giving me a straight path to him.

When I was close to him I laugh at his surprised face.

'she must not go near to him'
'that boy was a menace'
'why did the King accepted him'

Jerks are everywhere how dare they insult my first love.
Natsu looked down, too ashamed to face me I don't like this at all, this wasn't the Natsu I used to know. Urgh! I'm getting annoyed.

I poured the wine to him.
He looked at me with his eyes widely open he was already drenched.
The people around us gasp.

"Natsu, you're not the antagonist in this story anymore" I whispered in his ear.

'what kind of woman is that'
'how disrespectful'

I laugh at his drenched face ignoring the comments about me.
He narrowed his eyes on me.

Finally the Natsu I know appeared.

So I can finally believed that Love is Blind
Why? because I still love him whatever he is.

I held my hand out.

"Natsu will you run away with me?" I said madly blushing he was just looking at me with his eyes widen.

I glance at the Queen the King and Wendy. They were smiling at us.

'Until we meet again'
The King Igneel said in his expression.
I smiled, we once again left Happy behind.

Natsu puts me down in front of my apartment his eyes were looking at me closely.
I want to tell him what I feel, I want to say my true feelings but I won't.
I seriously don't want to fall to the sky again.

I pulled his arm and putted a black wrist band.

"Luce..."

I smiled at him.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATSU!"

Yes, I know that this gift worth like nothing but it was special to me, because when I received this it was the very first time that Natsu met me.

I lean up about to kiss his forehead.

"LUCY HEARTFILLIA!" I stopped, I turned my gaze.

My eyes widen.

"L-La-Land L-Lord?" I said surprisingly shock while stammering my words.

I gulp she glared her eyes on me.

"BEFORE YOU DO FLIRTY THINGS, PAY YOUR RENT FIRST!"
"H-h-HAI!" I said and saluted to her.

Natsu laughs in an annoying way and I look at him with an expression saying.

'You're such a jerk'
