Sorry, haven't been posting for a while. But now I'm back. And here's the next chapter.

Zim kissed Gaz back for a few seconds, the seemed to realize what he was doing. He pushed her away roughly.

"No, Gaz-human. This is not right. We're not even the same species."

"Oh, who cares. No one, excluding Dib and I, and possibly Miss Bitters, knows that you're an alien."

Zim suddenly smiled. "You think that Miss Bitters knows my secret, too? It's not just me?"

Gaz shrugged, and sighed."There's no way of knowing what she knows. But that's beside the point. You're changing the subject. Do you think that it's always going to be like this with us? Are we just gonna kiss then act as if it never happened?" she asked.

Zim was deep in thought at this. Finally he answered, "I-I don't know, Gaz-Human."

She sighed again. "Fine. Then let's be that way. We'll never speak of that kiss again.

And for some strange reason, she actually felt a twinge of sadness.

How can that be? she wondered, thinking it over.

Zim was not much better off. He was still think over her decision. He knew that Gaz was too stubborn to change her mind without help, or you know, the proper "persuasion".

The lingering of the kiss they had shared still tingled on his lips. Gaz, why are you doing this? was the question that echoed painfully clear in his mind.

But he still knew that there was still a chance. A minor one, true, but that was better than nothing at all.

So Zim did what he did best. He schemed.
