What happened?
I don't know, I swear!
Liar! He was here, I know it!
I didn't see him! I don't know why he was here if he was ever here in the first place!
You damn bastard, where is he?
I don't know!
Yugi gasped, awakening from his nightmare. The darkness seemed to be amplified, the only light shining in from the barred window. Pushing the dark gray duvet off his sweaty body, Yugi made his way to the window, eyes darkening as all that could be seen was destruction. Trees uprooted, earth overturned, rivers murky and brown, fires destroying more and more of the world around it. What had he done? The clanging of metal on stone brought him out of his reverie. Amethyst eyes glanced down at the iron shackle and the chains binding him to the stone cell, before it closed solemnly. If only, if only he was able to fight back. Clenching his hands, the pale reflection of dark red on stark white made his mind register the pain. Oh, he had cut himself again. Letting the blood drip off onto a hollow nut shell, he watched as the blood collected and filled the small basin. Once it was filled, the wound closed and healed itself up, dark shadow tendrils escaping the area afterwards. Letting a tendril touch the shell, the blood crystallized and formed a dark crimson gem. A soft cry called Kuriboh to his side.
"Take this and give it to them. This and," Yugi paused, this won't be enough. Looking around, he couldn't see anything that would really help before his eyes landed on a mirror shard he had shattered at the beginning of his imprisonment. He grabbed the piece, ignoring the blood trickling down it as the tendrils unconsciously formed veins of red all over the shard. Handing both the gem and the shard to the brown fluff ball, he whispered, "The resistance, this might help. Hurry." Once Kuriboh flexed his wings and hurried away, Yugi let his hands fall. A tear fell down his face. Oh what has he done? Steps echoed down the hall outside as he hurried back to his cot, kneeling down on it submissively as the locks were undone and the cell door was slammed open.
"Are you finally going to tell the truth?" Amethyst eyes looked up into dark crimson and the son of Ra. Yugi remained silent. Pharaoh Atem was after Yami, and Yugi won't give them up. It was bad enough Yami was in the area when the Pharaoh did his rounds. But it was Yugi's fault Yami was there in the first place. Yugi couldn't lie, the fact that his hikari magic was corrupted without Yami made the fact that the little shadow magic he could do was a miracle in itself. He was stuck between the two rulers, the Pharaoh and his lost twin, one who rules the kingdom with a firm and harsh hand, the other ruling the darkness and the resistance, hoping to free the people of the tyranny.

So? What do you think? I've been on a role, updating so much. ^.^
So this is basically a random idea that popped up in my head. Yugi is captured and held hostage by Pharaoh Atem. Yami is the leader of the resistance and the Pharaoh's twin. Yugi is stuck in between. Yami was injured in one of the skirmishes and ran into Yugi. Yugi, being a healer, did not question the bloody figure lying in the forest when he went to gather herbs and healed him up, nursing him until he recovered. A relationship began to form (Puzzleshipping). The problem was, Yugi's parents were a lord and lady, and despite Yugi being a healer and being relatively free from his family, they had offered him up as a concubine to the Pharaoh. It just so happened that Yami had forgotten his dagger once in the herb basket when he was helping Yugi during a visit. The Pharaoh was suspicious and placed guards monitoring Yugi's home. Yami became aware of them and, recognizing the danger Yugi was in, went back to steal the dagger back so Yugi can't be incriminated. Unfortunately, the Pharaoh threw Yugi into a celled tower until he confessed what Yami was doing there and if he was in leagues with him. What is even worse is that Yugi and Atem were once childhood friends, but Atem had forgotten and all Yugi could remember was the boy with crimson black hair with streaks of gold and the kind light red eyes with the simple dream catcher he made him. So it is a huge convoluted mess.
In the end, it is supposed to end up being Mobiumshipping.
Anyone willing to adopt this plot bunny? Just PM me if you do. I want to read it.
