CHAPTER-12

Description: Neither Twilight or any of its characters does NOT belong to me.

I wrote this story a few years ago but didn't upload it in . My account on has this story with different character names. When I first started writing this story I was a cheese filled teenager so if you find something utterly cheesy that blame it on my teenage romance filled head. I'm not gonna change anything from the original story.

This chapter or this story has not gone through any Beta or pre reader. Mistakes are mine.

Now onto the story:-

"Mom! mom!" Alice called Lydia restlessly.

"What happened sweetheart?" Lydia asked wiping her hands with a towel.

"Mom, did Bella call you last night?" Alice asked worriedly.

Her insides were twisting in a strange kind of pain. She knew this pain from earlier experience. Four months ago, when Bella was staying with Brandon family, she had a small accident and Alice was at a party that time. Her insides were aching like this that day too. When she came home, she found out that Bella was hurt. But today's pain was immense. She wasn't being able to ignore this pain. She knew something was wrong with Bella.

"Why asking dear? Didn't she mail you last night?" Lydia asked ignoring Alice's agitation. She knew her daughter overeats sometimes over silly matters.

"No mom. She's not even answering my calls. I'm worried for her. I hope…she's fine." Alice mumbled the last line.

Suddenly a new idea crossed her head. She grinned and dialed Bella's landline number. An unknown person answered the phone.

"Hello?" said that unknown person.

"Uh…hello, can I talk to Bella, please?" Alice asked hesitating.

"Well…she's not home. You can leave massage." Rosalie replied in a disturbed voice "By the way, who are you speaking?" she asked.

"Hi Rosalie; I'm Alice, Bella's friend." Alice said.

"Oh…Alice, hi. Tell me if you have any massage for Bella." Rosalie asked sitting on the couch.

"Actually…last night she didn't sent me any mail…neither she called, I was just worried. Is she fine?" Alice finally expressed her anxiety.

"Alice, I…actually don't know where she is. Last night, I was on a date with my boyfriend. I came back late at night and when I peeked in her room, she wasn't there. Her bed was messed up; I thought maybe she was in bathroom. But this morning, when I went in her room to wake her up. She wasn't there. I'm calling in her phone since then…but her phone is unreachable. I called every friend of ours to find out if she's with any of them but none know about her at all. I'm also very worried." Rosalie told Alice.

"Rosalie, will you do me a favor, please?" Alice requested with shaky voice. She knew something was wrong. Because Bella wasn't that kind of girl who'll leave without telling anyone.

"Yes Alice, tell me what can I do for you?" Rosalie asked kindly.

"If she didn't come home till evening, then call me in this number, ok?" Alice said in a pleading tone.

Rosalie jolted down the number. "I will. I promise." she assured Alice.

Alice nodded "Thanks very much Rosalie. That'd be so kind of you." a betrayer tear escaped her eyes. Lydia noticed that from a far. Lydia understood that Alice couldn't talk to Bella for some reason. She narrowed her eyes in doubt.

"No problem Alice. I'll hang up now. Okay? Bye." Rosalie hung up the phone.

Alice slowly put the phone down from her ear. She sat there silently like a statue. Lydia noticed the sadness in her only daughter's eyes. She left what she was doing and came to her daughter.

"Baby! Alice! What's wrong? Did you talk to Bella?" Lydia asked impatiently. Alice just shook her head in response. Lydia sighed worriedly. "Tell me baby, what happened?"

"Mom, she's not in her home since last night. Her house owner and friends are searching her every where possible but didn't find any trace yet. I'm sure something is very wrong, mom...I think…She's in some trouble." Alice kept whispering the last line again and again.

"What?! How's that possible? Bella is not that type of girl. She'll never leave without telling anyone." Lydia said insistently "I'm calling your dad and will tell him about it. You don't worry nothing will happen to her." She assured her daughter and left to the other room. Alice just sat there silently.

Darkness covered the sky gradually. The sun left silently without protesting at all. The sun in Alice's sky suddenly disappeared. She stayed in that sun's bright light for a very long time, that's why when it disappeared she's not even being able to see those little stars. Eve was silent and depressed too next to her. Even she was feeling the same. One sister from there triplet was missing. She was sighing every moment.

"Don't worry girls; I'm sure she'll be fine. Maybe she's with her boyfriend." Corey tried to assure the girls about their best friend.

Alice snapped at the word 'boyfriend'. Rosalie didn't tell her anything about talking to Bella's boyfriend. Suddenly the phone rang loudly enough for them to hear. Alice received the phone absent-mindedly "Hello?"

"Hello…Alice? I'm Rosalie." Rosalie replied.

"Yes Rosalie, tell me, is she back yet?" Alice asked even after knowing the answer.

"No Alice. She's not." Rosalie replied sadly.

"I'm coming to New York. Can I stay at yours?" Alice asked coldly this time.

"Yes! Of course you can. I also want you to come here and help me find Bella. I think she's in some deep trouble." Rosalie uttered the last line uneasily.

"I'm coming tomorrow evening." Alice replied. Eve and Corey exchanged worried glance.

"I'll be there to receive you. Get some friends with you if you want to."

"Hmm…bye for now. see you tomorrow."

"Bye" and they hung up.

"You're going to New York?" Eve asked putting one hand on Alice's shoulder.

"I'll do anything for my sister like best friend, Eve."Alice said and left the room. Eve looked at Corey; he just nodded to console her.

"But…Alice, baby, can you handle this matter alone?...Let me come with you." Tom requested his daughter.

"Dad, I'll be fine. I'll handle everything nicely but yet…if I feel that I need your help…then I'll call you." Alice guaranteed her father.

"But alone?" he wasn't ready to send another one of his daughters alone.

"Mr. Brandon? Don't worry Alice won't be alone there…" Eve said from the staircase.

"What do you mean?" Alice asked looking at them, frowning.

"Tell me you didn't really think that I'll sit here and will let you go alone to search Bella, did you? Oh…come on… she's my best friend as well. How come I'll not go to search for her?" Eve said. Alice smiled at Eve's reaction.

"I'll also join you girls." Corey added. Both girls' smiles widened.

"Let them go. I know they can do it." Lydia assured Tom holding his hands.

He sighed and said "I'll book the tickets." and he left.

A/N: I know some things in this chapter don't really happen in real life. But it's not a real life story. It's just some random cheesy fantasy of mine ;-)

Some reviews about what you thought so far would be appreciated. If not then it's okay too..
