Thank you guys so much! I know a lot more of you have reviewed, and I am sorry for only saying the names of those who reviewed on the latest chapter, but if I did write everyones name, there wouldn't be time for me to review! And that would be horrible! Hehe... And I would like to apologize to everyone though that Mai was dying... I just didn't have the heart to hurt her any more... but I still got the emotional reactions! So thank you for that xD Love you guys!

Naru: I would like to point out, that Danielle doesn't own Ghost hunt

Lin: Probably for the best

Me: Hey! That's my line! That's it, you guys aren't in this chapter!

"Mai?" Naru called, seeing as Mai just stopped mixing the tea, and just stood there looking dazed. Mai snapped out of it, but didn't try to assure him that she was OK. She wasn't, and she wasn't going to lie. She was a terrible liar. But she sure wasn't about to share the madness running through her head either. She would just have to put up with it for now...

Mai packed the last of her things, and was ready to leave. Her assistant was left with the report, but Mai didn't offer to help. She just wanted to go home and relax...

*Knock knock*

Well, she supposed that would have to wait for awhile. Mai stood and answered the door, not at all surprised to see the SPR regulars. Mai frowned, stepping back as Monk tried to hug her.

"The case is over, so I don't understand what you are all doing here" Mai stepped out the way and let them in anyways. She knew them to be loud, but she also knew them to be persistent. They wouldn't just leave her alone now... Mai sighed.

"We just got you back Jou-San! We are not letting you go again!" Monk yelled, only serving to prove Mai's silent point.

"Yeah, what the hell Mai... where you planning on leaving us without even saying goodbye! We don't even know where you live!" Ayako pointed out, although it sounded like Mai was being scolded. Mai rolled her eyes at there nonsense. They never changed.

"I didn't see any point in this. I have work to do, is that all you came for? My home address?" Mai asked, sounding bored. Madoka took a step forward, and hit Mai upside the head. "Hey, what was that for!" Mai cried, rubbing her slightly sore head.

"Act like Naru and I will treat you like him! We had this conversation before! We are your friends and family! Don't you dare shut us out" Now Mai was sure she was being scolded. Mai bit her lip, and looked down at her shoes. Madoka was right. She shouldn't take her anger out on her friends- no her family.

"I'm sorry..." Mai muttered. She was about to allow them to hug her, as she could see most of them struggling not to, when Mai's phone rang. Mai excused herself, and stood in her kitchen. Everyone let themselves in, and turned on the lights. This was the best room in the hotel, and it showed.

The walls were cream, and chocolate. The floor was hardwood, with a lush cream coloured carpet under a glass coffee table. It matched the cream sofas, that you could just sink into. The main sofa was facing a flat screen TV, and the marble fire-place just under it. The other was just to the side, facing the door. The room was a complete open plan. The kitchen was joined to the front room, and the only separation it had, was a counter that doubled as a table. It was also marble. And what made the room more elegant, was the spiral steps. And they lead to the second floor. It literally opened into a bedroom, but looked like a balcony of some kind. The room was truly beautiful.

Mai came off the phone a few minutes later, and put the kettle on. She watched as everyone was seated. The boys had just found somewhere on the floor, but Masako, Ayako and Madoka took up the main sofa. Mai took a seat on the sofa chair.

"That was just a modelling company. They want me to come in tomorrow and do a shoot. They keep asking me to join fall time, but I normally don't have time... Ayako, Masako, Madoka, you three wanna come with me tomorrow?!" Mai asked, a smirk on her lips. The three looked at each other, before agreeing all too eagerly.

"Are you sure they would allow you to bring guests?" Masako asked, her kimono sleeve covering her hopeful smile.

"They are always kissing up to me when I'm there... free clothes, free shoes. They wouldn't mind me bringing friends" Mai assured, waving it off.

"Free clothes" Ayako repeated, not being able to stop the stupid grin on her face.

"Free shoes" Masako echoed. Mai rolled her eyes again, before standing and finishing the tea.

"Yeah, they are very nice, especially when they are trying to make a model sign full time... They have plenty, but are still trying to make me quit working with the police" Mai sighed, letting the tea seep.

"What time do we meet? And where?" Madoka asked. Mai wrote down her address, and told them to go to hers at 10am. Tomorrow was going to be a long day...

After the team shared tea, and a few old memories, everyone went to their own rooms, and Mai went home... she had a long day tomorrow after all...

Mai woke from her slumber, by a horrible screaming sound. Mai pulled the pillow over her ears, and tried to go back to sleep. It stopped after a while, but started up again a few minutes later. Mai forced her eyes open, and looked at her bed side table. Her alarm clock... that was making all this noise. Mai reached for the snooze button, but just ended up pushing it on the floor.

Sighing, Mai sat up. She looked at her clock, to find it to be 8am. Sighing again, Mai removed herself from her silk cover and placed her bare feet on the warm, shaggy rug. She found her slippers, before pulling on her old dressing gown. She would have worn the one she was given from one of fashion shows, but her old one was warm and comfortable. While she loved her new clothes, they looked good, but they weren't practical. Although she knew she had to wear them today. She couldn't show up in one of her old mini skirts. She was a professional, and was already bringing people... she didn't want to push it. Although it didn't matter, they would still be obsessed with her.

Mai opened her walk in wardrobe, and glanced at the hoard of glossy dresses, and colourful outfits, all expertly picked for herself.

Mai glanced out the window, seeing her beautiful drive. The well maintained grass, and hedges framing the driveway, that circled round a fountain. It wasn't raining, and it wasn't snowing, so Mai deemed it appropriate weather to wear a dress.

After spending about ten minutes finding a dress, and shoes to match, Mai strolled into the bathroom, where a bath was already drawn for her. She guessed her maid was currently readying her breakfast.

The room was tile-less, due to Mai's requested. She didn't feel comfortable with them in her home after the case with the tiled room, and the masses of blood. She wasn't even too comfortable with a normal bathtub, that her one was the old-fashioned kind. It looked more like a small pool then a bathtub. The floor was marble, but the rest of the room was very Japanese styled. The bath was fitted in the floor in the mid-back of the room, and was about two meters in length and two in diameter. It had a wooden base, and currently filled with steaming water. Beside it is a small flat rock that doubled as a table, and held some cleaning materials and products. Behind it, the whole wall was a window, and looked out onto the back garden. The window was tinted, and so Mai was OK with using it. Next to the bath, to the left of the room, was a shower, that Mai was sure was made for two. It was huge, and roomy. Under it, instead of having a single plug, the floor was wooden planks, with gaps that allowed the water to drain away. The rest of the room was painted with cherry blossom trees. Around the giant window, was bamboo.

Apart from the bath and the shower, was a small clothes rack, and beauty table. It was more modern styled then anything else in the room, and the mirror was shaped and beautiful. And held only a few products, like lotions and lip balm and perfumes. Nothing too extravagant. And the chair that went with it, was more like a small sofa or a bed. It was a very light pink, to go with the sakara, and only had one arm rest and was long enough for Mai to lie down on. It had a back to it too, for when it was used as a chair.

After hanging up her outfit and disrobing, Mai climbed into her bath. She sighed, feeling the soothing water against her skin. She unclipped her hair, allowing her soft brown locks free.

After half an hour, Mai got out. She then walked to her shower, and quickly washed away the overwhelming scent of lavender. While she enjoyed bathing in it, the smell became overwhelming if she didn't wash it off.

Once finished, Mai dried herself with a towel, before putting on her rode. She kept her hair in a towel, before rubbing a lotion on her skin. Then she took her hair out the towel, brushed it, and put a little product to keep it shiny.

She then ditched her robe, and dressed up in her favourite dress. It was verily plan, mid-night blue dress, that hugged her upper-half, but free-flowing on the bottom half. It was a soft material, summer dress, and she paired it with a black waist belt, and black strap up sandals.

Spraying a little of her perfume, Mai walked downstairs, and walked up to her dining room table. Her maid put some bread roles and some fillings as well as some fresh juice.

"Thank you Miss Hanako" Mai thanked, shooting the girl a smiled. Hanako bowed.

"You're welcome, good morning Miss Taniyama" Hanako greeted, smiling sweetly. Hanako was also an orphan, and so Mai had offered her the job, and since the home had two spare rooms, Mai had given her a place to stay, and food. So this girl was living rent free, with free food, and her only job was to clean. And she was still paid. So Hanako was very grateful for her job, and the fact that her boss was so kind, she was also free to educate herself.

After Mai was finished eating, she got her bag, and had Hanako call for her car. Not only did she have a maid, she also had a personal driver.

Mai glanced at her clock, knowing that the girls were due any time soon. Sitting on the sofa, Mai heard the door go. She was about to stand, when her maid beat her too it, and answered the door. Mai sighed, already wondering what they would say seeing her like this.

"Hello" Hanako greeted, bowing. "Please come in Miss Hara, Miss Masuzaki and Miss Mori. The mistress is waiting in the main room" Hanako had been asked to learn there names, so she could address them. Mai rolled her eyes as she pondered their reaction.

Walking in, the three were greeted by a huge stair case that was easily the centre piece of the home. The wooden carved stairs lead to a second floor, that was a balcony from the front and either side. There were three rooms each side, and one in the middle. Masako guessed it was a the master- or in this case mistress- bedroom.

Hanako knocked on the door leading to the main room. "Miss Taniyama, your guessed are here" She called.

"Let them in" Mai called, standing to her feet. The wide eyed three walked in, taking in every small detail. The home was beautiful, and with the artwork adoring the walls, the mansion was truly perfect. "Good morning guys, should we go?"

"Mai this house is amazing!" Madoka cheered.

"I would hardly call it a house... it's more like a mansion" Ayako argued.

"Mai, you have outdone yourself" Masako chirped in. Mai smiled.

"Yeah Mai, this place is awesome!" Yasu added. Mai smile brightened, before it dropped off. She saw Yasu hiding being the door.

"Yasu?" Mai asked, wondering when the hell he got here.

"Sorry Miss Taniyama, he ran right past me" Hanako apologized, bowing her head in shame.

"Please don't worry Miss Hanako" Mai waved her hand dismissively. "Yasu, stop hiding, come here" Mai called, rolling her eyes again as he came out of his hiding place. He walked over, scratching the back of his head.

"Hey Mai!" He greeted, grinning.

"Not that I'm not happy to see you, but why are you here?" Mai asked, genuinely curious.

"I wanted to see where you live... and I wanna see the inside of the fashion shoot" Yasu explained, the second part holding a slight cocky tone, as if to say, 'well that was obvious'.

"Fine, you can come, just don't make trouble." Mai begged, and Yasu nodded.

"I will be the perfect gentleman" Yasu promised, grinning. Sighing, Mai walked towards the door.

"Lets go. The car is already out front" Mai called, seeing the driver stand outside waiting for her. The four followed Mai out, all in cheerful conversation.

"Mai you look beautiful in that dress" Ayako commented, seeing the colour, and guessing why Mai liked it so much... the colour was strikingly similar to Naru's eyes.

"Thank you" Mai smiled, looking back at Ayako. They saw the car and then four were yet again in a state of shock. It was a limo...

"Mai, what happened to your car?" Madoka asked, remembering the black sports car.

"I use that for work, and since I am required to use it so often, I use this one when I am not working. I do have a different car, but since you are my guests, I use nothing but the best" Mai explained as they reached the limo. The driver bowed, opening the door. He offered a hand, to help Mai get in.

"Good morning Miss Taniyama" He greeted. "And Miss Taniyama's honoured guests".

"Thank you, and good morning" Mai thanked, before getting in. And not to their surprised, the inside of the limo was just as glamours.

And with that, they were on their way...
