Britt and Yami walked together as they searched for a duel to have after their tag team duel. As they were debating on who they should duel next, they saw some kids run by talking about Joey in a duel.

That's interesting. We may want to check it out. Britt thought.
Hmm.. Joey's dueling? Yami thought

"Come on, let's check it out." Yami said to Britt.

They hurried in the direction the kids went but when they saw the crowd, Yami found a ladder and had Britt go first. Britt wasn't one for heights, but she carefully climbed up the ladder so they would find a spot to watch. Yami could sense Britt's fear as they got to the top of the building.

Once they were at the top of the building, Yami put an arm around her as they watched. They watched as the duel began and seen Joey was having a hard start. As they watched, they overheard some boys and looked over, seeing that the boys were seeming to make Espa Roba a fake.

This is bad. Hopefully Joey can figure this out. Britt thought

As they watched, they saw that Joey had a disadvantage at first in the duel with Espa Roba, knowing what cards were in his hand. Britt and Yami knew Joey could figure it out if he just thought about it. It wasn't much as they watched. They knew there was a lot Joey needed to figure out and he also needed to remember the battlecity rules. When Espa Roba's brothers informed him Joey had two dice cards, he told Joey that if they were both graceful dice he couldn't play them. As Britt watched with Yami she noticed it was really a Graceful Dice magic card and a Skull Dice trap card. It wasn't long that Mokuba had come and spotted the boys cheating for their brother.

Even though Britt and Yami were watching the Duel, they would occasionally look over at Mokuba and Espa Roba's brothers to see what he was going to do. The boys promised their brother could win the duel if Mokuba would let the duel continue without their help. Mokuba was caught in the middle as he listened to their story of how their brother defended them and it wasn't long that Mokuba looked over and saw Britt and Yami looking over at them.

Joey can win this, but he has to be smart about his moves. Britt thought.

Espa Roba is a strong duelist. Yami thought.

Yugi watched beside them and he knew that this was going to be a tough duel. Then they saw that Espa Roba brought out a duel monster named Jinzo. It was a tough duel as they could see, with Joey having some good moves, but they were most impressed when Joey used a magic card to take a risk. He attached it to one of Espa Roba's monsters and when Espa Roba yelled stopped, his monster stopped on his Jinzo, making them destroy each other and Joey winning the duel.

Good Job Joey. Britt thought

Her and Yami went back to the ladder and Yami went down first so Britt felt he'd be able to catch her. Britt followed behind but she was scared to get down. Yami got down and he watched her and when she was close enough he put his arms out.

"If you're too scared to go the rest of the way, let go. I'll catch you Britt." He said

Britt nodded and she let go as she closed her eyes. She thought she would hit the ground, but Yami caught her as he promised. She stayed close to him while she was letting the fear pass through her system. He started walking while holding her as he knew they needed to find another duel so they would be able to get into the finals together.

In New Domino city, Yusei was taking Bre to the place he had in mind. She had to wait to figure out what to expect. Her thoughts raced as she knew there could be many things but she felt like he was trying to take her out on a date.

"Where are we going?" Bre asked
"Oh, you'll see." Yusei said

When he stopped, he took her hand and helped her off his turbo bike then unblind folded her. She looked and saw that they were at a cafe in town. It surprised her, but she was much like her twin and kept her surprise expression from being noticed. Yusei led her in and they got a table. He pulled the seat out for her before he got in his own.

"I didn't expect to come here." Bre said.
"Well it'll help you get to know the area better if I start taking you around town. Jenna is going to come by and take you back out to get you some more clothes while we figure out a few things." Yusei said

It wasn't long that the waitress came and handed them menus. They both took a menu and even though there was a lot to decide from, Bre looked at only the drinks. Yusei noticed she looked at the drinks and occasionally looked over at the deserts. It wasn't long that the waitress came back to see what they wanted. Bre decided on a glass of tea to start off with while Yusei got something to drink. When the waitress delivered their drinks, she walked away.

"Is there something you want?" Yusei asked
"Hmm.. I may be interested in trying that chocolate cake." Bre said

Yusei could tell she missed her old home back in her own time. He wondered if she wanted to check on her siblings. Then he recalled her blackout moments and realized that maybe she was connected to one of her sisters. They stayed there long enough for them to have their drinks and Bre to have a piece of chocolate cake. Once they were done there he payed then took her back to his place. It was a long day with how things had been so he wanted to make it good for her.

Yami was walking holding Britt as he walked around looking to see where would be the best place to go. Britt was starting to calm down and she opened her eyes as she looked around, though she realized he had been holding her so a blush came to her face. Britt noticed Brittania was awfully quiet lately during the whole thing and she wondered why. Suddenly they started to hear a laugh. Yami and Britt looked over seeing a clown. Clowns were one thing that freaked Britt out so she didn't mind that Yami still had her in his arms.

"Who are you?" Yami asked
"Hello Yugi and Britt. We've been looking for you." The clown said
"Who's we?" Yami asked
"You'll find out, if you walk that way," The clown said pointing to the tent. "53 steps forward and into that tent. My Master is waiting for you inside. It's in your best interest to go." The clown added before running away.

Mr. Motou and Tea saw them and were trying to catch up with them as they seen Yami enter the tent with Britt in his arms. They looked around seeing no one was there but they did notice the box under the words magic show and the clown was in it, motioning for them to come.

"Britt, maybe you shoul-" Yami didn't get to finish before Britt cut him off.
"We're going together. Marik is after both of us and if he gets ahold of me he'll use me against you." Britt said

Yami knew there was no way of changing her mind when she had a good point so he kept walking. Tea and Mr. Motou entered the tent and were looking for him when they noticed him entering the box with Britt still with him.

"Yugi! Britt!" Tea and Mr. Motou said but they noticed that it seemed like they could not hear them. Once Britt and Yami were inside, there was a mist and the box fell apart. Tea and Mr. motou looked around wonder where they were. In another box in a building, the door opened and Yami stepped out holding Britt, but he put her down on her feet as they walked out to a computer screen. As they looked they seen Yugi's dueling profile with the Dark Magician image changing and a hologram show up out of the screen. Yami wasn't afraid and neither was Britt.

"Alright, enough of these tricks!" Yami said

They heard a laugh come from the darkness and a man started to appear before them. They wondered who he was and what he wanted.

"Welcome Yugi Motou, I am the illusionist known as Arkana. Soon your favorite card will be dueling for me." He said to Yami. As he seen Britt beside Yami, a smirk came to his face. "I see you brought your beautiful friend Britt Petrova with you." He added

Arkana challenged Yami to a duel and had them follow him to the dueling Arena. Britt stayed back to watch as she seen them walk to a table and cut each others decks. She thought it would be fine until chains came out of no where and grabbed her, pulling her back and having her wrists handcuffed.

"Britt!" Yami said as he seen what had happened.
"Sorry my dear, but we can't have you helping him." He said.

Next she saw the floor under Yami and Arkana start to move backwards where their ankles were locked in so they couldn't escape. As she listened to the terms of their duel and seen what Arkana called dark energy disks appear, she worried for Yami, hearing that one touch and their mind was sent to the shadow realm.

"If you lose, not only do I get your Dark Magician, but your mind gets sent to the shadow realm. And as for your girl..well, she'll be put to good use." Arkana said

Arkana explained the rules on how the numbers above the energy disks were representing life points and the box between their feet showed the opponents life points. To get the key, they had to take out their opponents life points to get free.

"And what about Britt?" Yami asked Arkana.

"Look over by her. There's a Key hanging where she can't reach it. So if for some reason you win, you get to save her." Arkana said.

Yami saw the key hanging out of Britt's reach. He knew he had to win to save himself and to save her. Britt folded her arms as she was forced to just stand there and watch. Yami had the first move and she smiled as she seen it wasn't a bad start. But she felt Arkana was up to something. She wouldn't put it past the guy to figure he'd be cheating somehow.

Well this is a different turn of events. We're shackled where we can't move from where you stand. Brittania thought to Brittney.

Why were you so quiet earlier when Joey was dueling? Britt asked Brittania.

Bonding time. We're becoming one person so soon there won't be two of us talking to each other. So we're going to have to get used to it after all, i'm just a fragment of what you were locked in the bracelet. Brittania told her.

They were both relieved when they saw Yami use a magic card called Card Destruction to make them both send their hands to the graveyard and pull a new hand. Arkana was not happy about this as he sent his hand to the grave. Yami, though, seemed happy with his hand as they watched by sacrificing a monster he was able to summon his Dark Magician and use a direct attack for 2500 point damage to Arkana's 4000 life points.

He'll win. The Dark Magician is one of his best cards. Britt thought

Unknowing to Britt, in New Domino city her sister Bre had been walking with Yusei and suddenly collapsed from her power sending her to her sister's side. Bre once again was transparent as she seen her sister was handcuffed with limited room to move around.

Britt? She's handcuffed?! The Pharaoh is dueling against this creep.. Bre thought

Britt and Bre watched as the duel progressed but when Britt saw they each had four facedown and one Dark Magician card, she was hoping for the best. Arkana used one of his face down cards called Guillotine and used it on Yami's Dark Magician. Britt tried to move away from the shackles but was not able to. Right when it seemed hopeless, she noticed that Yami saved the Dark Magician, but she noticed that Arkana and Yami met move for move. When Yami asked who was Arkana's master, Arkana went to explain his past and how he met Marik who promised to reunite him with his love.

"Now then, Marik wants the girl, but if I eliminate you, then she's useless to Master Marik." Arkana said

Britt wanted to know just what Marik wanted with Yami and the puzzle, but she knew it had to do something with the Millennium items. As she looked over at her item, she wondered if it was just useless to anyone else besides her. Britt wanted to do something, anything, to help Yami, but she sighed knowing this was bad. When she seen Arkana use a trap to wipe out Yami's defense monsters and use a magic card to bring back his dark magician, she became very worried. Britt became so worried, her eyes flashed a bright Nile Blue, and suddenly, her entire posture changed.

"My Pharaoh, you can win. Fight until the end!" Britt said

Fight til the end? My Pharaoh? This is different. Bre thought

Britt watched as the magic card that Arkana played worked for Yami and allowed him to summon Dark Magician girl. She smiled as she listened to Yami explaining how Dark Magician Girl had 100 more life points than Arkana's second Dark Magician. She heard him say that Dark Magician Girl gained an extra 300 attack points from every Dark Magician in the grave yard, adding 600 attack points to her original 2,000 attack points totalling in 2,600. Britt and Bre watched as Yami wiped out the rest of Arkana's life points. As she watched and seen that below Yami was a locator card and a key to get out of the shackes she smiled. As Britt watched she seen Yami get himself free but they soon heard their friends and Mr. Motou. Yami switched places with Yugi. Yugi saw the key Arkana had was on the floor so he ran over and unshackled Arkana, making the Dark Disk miss him. They watched as Arkana went to where his Katherine was supposed to be as Yugi went over to Britt grabbing the key and unlocking the handcuffs on her wrists. They noticed it was a dummy that was in Arkana's arms but then they suddenly saw him be controlled by Marik.

I don't like this. He's after my Pharaoh..my love. He'll stop me from getting Yami his body back..someway..somehow..I'll do it. Brittania thought

Britt knew she wasn't in control but Brittania was as they were listening to Mariks threats about taking Yami's power. She knew Marik was after them and more importantly wanted to capture her and Brittania to use against them. She wasn't sure if it had to do with their power or just because of their connection to Yami. It wasn't long after Marik finished that Tristan, Tea and Mr. Motou were able to get in.

Britt is mixed in a danger that I don't understand. I feel though that we will reconnect and soon I'll understand her connection to the Pharaoh. Maybe we do share a past after all, but I'll need to start searching our ancestors to figure it out.. Bre thought
