Chapter 12
Lance slammed the locker as hard as he could to let out some steam. Why was he this angry? Perhaps you should see what happened yesterday with him and Valeria.
...
"Come on Lance, it's no biggy if you invite Samuel over."
"But I didn't invite him. Just because you want to bring someone who wasn't invited over to my home isn't right. In fact, my parents would be furious."
"What? Your parents wouldn't mind if you invited Natalie!"
"By the way Valeria, its Naryu, not Natalie."
"So what? I'll call him for you."
"No, he's not coming over, if you have a problem with that, just leave."
"I do!" Valeria spat, standing up and walking out the door
...
"Lance..."
I turned my head to see Valeria leaning against a locker, she was twisting a few strands of her hair anxiously.
"What do you want?!" I questioned angrily
"Just chill OK? I came here to say sorry about last night. And...two days ago. I should have remembered about Naryu's feelings for you. I totally forgot, and messed up your friendship. I know it means everything to you two, and that's why I'm here. But...I got a little jealous, so I convince my parents to switch me to this school, and since I was your friend, maybe you would help and pay more attention to me. It all started when I drank that punch at a friend's house. I kept on feeling funny, and yesterday I went to the doctor. They said something was wrong with me, and that I was going to have to live somewhere else for 2 years before I can come back. So...this is good-bye."
"Wait...what?" I said, surprised
"This is good-bye Lance, tell Naryu I'm sorry."
And Valeria hugged me before running off down the halls.
I can't believe this is even happening...
Hylia sat cross-legged on a bench waiting for Din to arrive. It turned out that Skylar was switching a few classes so he could avoid Erick and Mara some more. Hylia had a change of heart. She no longer hated either of them. She was friends with Mara, but she wouldn't show it when Skylar was around, and that began to make some problems. Erick was telling Hylia to just join their group altogether, and sometimes he wouldn't bother to point it out in Skylar's face. And now, she was talking with Skylar.
"You would really join the team that tried to kidnap you!"
"Skylar, it wasn't them, it was that gang, and you also have no proof if it was them anyways."
"Still, trust me, we've been friends longer than they have tried to become."
"Skylar, I'm sorry, but if you can't handle the fact that I'm being friends and friendly with them... I don't think you'll want t hang out with me anymore."
And Hylia got up and left Skylar fuming with angry. She didn't know it, but that was definitely going to cause trouble in the future...
At Naryu's new neighborhood, she was neighbors with a classmate, James. He had dark bluek(black and blue) hair, and purple eyes. He was a writer, and very soon became friends with Naryu. She didn't really have feels for him, but you never know, some of the moments, you might be able to ship them, as long as you had a box and stamp. So at this moment, Naryu and James were chatting in the hallways about their futures.
"So, would you do the OC Meme sheet if someone were to tag you?"
Naryu laughed, "I think I would. I love seeing how everyone writes in it, there's just one question I wouldn't answer."
"What?" James asked
Naryu blushed, "my type."
James snickered, "what is you type, Naryu?"
She poked him playfully, "whatever."
"OH really...am I not your type?"
Naryu blushed, "be quiet before a bookshelf falls on your head."
All of a sudden, Lance walked in. He stopped in his tracks when he saw James.
"Eh...Nayru, can we.. talk?"
"Sorry, another time Lance."
Lance put his head down, "oh, OK."
Skylar frowned angrily, why would she want to hang out with them. I mean, I know they tried to kidnap her. I guess I'll need to find my way in and collect evidence.
