Chapter 12:

Guess who got this typed up while all her family members were out at a soccer game? THIS ONE! Yeah anyways, had some free time away from school/cosplay and I FINALY GOT IT DONE (seriously no idea where I got the time buuuuut did it)! SO sorry it took me so long BUT I made it extra long *give innocent look*.So without further adieu HERE'S CHAPTER 12! Thanks too all who motivated me to get it done! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! There should be one more chapter and then MAYBE if it is wanted a sequel ^-^! Oh and just got my Jack Frost cosplay done *jump up and down* ANYWAYS TO THE STORY! Reviewing and Favoriting is appreciated ^o^!

Barely awake I felt a presence. I felt someone holding me in their arms cradling me. It was cold, chilly, and smelled of minty-pine….

JACK?!

Forcing myself to open my eyes I saw a pair of big blue eyes that I knew all too well. Out of utter happiness I was able to rasp out his name.

"J-jack?..."

"Yeah, it's me," He said smiling pulling me closer.

"J-jack, the sand-," I said trying to make words.

"I know," he said seeing that it was just hard enough for me to keep my eyes open, "Don't worry everything's going to be fine. You're going to be fine. I'll make sure of it."

Tilting my head back I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath, trying not to pass out again. Then out of nowhere I heard a moaning sound. A sound of pain…Again I heard the land's tormented screams.

"I-it's hurting…" I said as my eyes shot open with tears rolling down my face.

"W-what's hurting?!" Jack said scanning me over, looking for traces of black sand or signs of an injury.

"T-the land….i-it's hurting…." I said scrunching my eyes in horror and despair.

Looking back up at Jack all he had was a shocked expression on his face. I could see sadness in his eyes along with unshed tears. As he wiped away my tears with his cold thumb I saw his expression became more determined.

"Cly-"

There was then a large crack of thunder that caused me to jolt in his arms. As we all looked up in the sky, there was Pitch. He was on a dark cloud of black sand.

"Get Cly and Jamie out of here," Jack said picking me up, along with the blanket that was covering me, and walked out of the sleigh.

"Who's gunna carry sheila? I'd do it…but I'm puny and North isn't feeling too hot either," Bunny said implying that North was getting weak as well.

"I am fine!" North said taking me into his arms.

"Don't worry Nature. I am big strong man! I won't drop you," he said with a nervous chuckle.

Oh dear evergreens I'm going to be dropped….

Walking up to me, Jack placed a kiss on my head saying, "Don't worry I'll be back."

He then walked off and flew in Pitch's direction.

"Be careful Jack!" North called out as we all started to walk/run in the other direction.

As we were rounding a corner, North said to me huffing and puffing, "See he likes you."

Sighing I replied, "Y-you're just saying t-that now b-because I-I'm too tired to argue…."

"No….well maybe…but we can argue later," He said giving me a smile.

"Ah this way! This way!" Bunny said leading us to a dead end in an alley.

"AH a dead end! Other way! Other way!"

Before we went in the other direction, Jack came falling out of the sky landing of a big garbage bin and rolling off of it onto the concrete ground.

"Jack!" I called out, wishing I was able to walk.

As we all made our way over to Jack, Jamie and Tooth helped him up.

"It was good try Jack. 'A' for effort!" North said still trying to hold to no avail.

"He's stronger, I can't beat him," Jack said still trying to get up.

"Ugh….oh no..." North said abruptly falling over, with me falling on top of him.

"I-I can't s-she's too heavy," North said between breaths.

"I'll try not to take offense to that," I mumbled trying to roll myself off of North.

"Hey you still have enough energy to retort. That's still good, right, "Jack said picking me up bridal style.

"I got her North," Jack said as Tooth helped North up.

Starting to feel even colder (probably from Jack) I put my hands under the blanket that was still wrapped around me and rested my head on Jack's shoulder.

There was then another crack of thunder and lightning, along with a wicked laugh.

"All this fuss over one little boy and still he refuses to stop believing. There are other ways to snuff out a light," Pitch said breaking the lights that were on the walls around us, with his shadow.

"You want him you're gunna have to go through me!" Bunny said walking in front of us.

"Look how fluffy you are. Would you like a scratch behind your ears?" Pitch said as his big shadowed hand started to point towards Bunny.

"Don't you even think about it!" Bunny said running and climbing onto North.

Looking ahead I saw some figures coming into view.

"I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see you all like this," Pitch said coming into view, riding on one of his sand horses, while others walked beside him.

"You look awful."

We all huddled around Jamie (well I was being held) trying to protect him as the shadows from the horses got closer. I felt Jack pull me closer to his chest and I ended up wrapping my hands around his neck.

W-what are we going to do?!...

"Jack I'm scared," Jamie said heavily breathing with wide eyes.

Jack and I both looked down at Jamie with wide eyes. Jack then looked over at me, but all I gave him was a worried look.

Looking back down at Jamie, Jack said after a slight pause, "We're going to have a little fun instead…"

What?...is he LOOSING his mind!? How are we going to have fun a situation like this!?

"That's it…THAT'S MY CENTER!" Jack said in astonishment.

Jamie looked very confused and didn't seem to understand what Jack was saying at all. I then felt Jack gently prop me over his shoulder so his other hand was free. He gave me a quick smirk darting his eyes down towards his other hand. I then saw what he was doing.

He's kidding right?...

Coming closer to us Pitch chuckled saying, "So what do you think Jamie? Do you believe in the Boogey Ma- UGH!"

Pitch was then hit square in the face by one of Jack's snowballs. Jack then held me bridal style again as Jamie and all of us started to laugh (even me). I saw Jack look over towards some big garbage can lids and other random items that were set by the wall beside us.

Oh no….he's not thinking what I think he's thinking is he?...

Turing toward Jamie, still holding me, he said, "Now let's go get your friends."

While Pitch was distracted everyone grabbed an item to ride on.

"Hey you think you can ride on my back?" Jack quickly said setting me on the ground.

"Yeah I think so," I said nodding.

Jack turned around and hoisted me up on his back.

"Ok hold on tight!" he said making a path of ice that everyone started to slide down on.

Rushing past Pitch, Jack (and I suppose, me) led the way.

I slightly giggled having the feeling of being able to "fly" again. I could also hear everyone else laugh behind us. We were sliding down the street that one of Jamie's friends lived on. And then another and another. We finally went to this one house where Jack carried Jamie up to the window, but set me down beforehand. Looking up I couldn't help laugh at the expression the girl had seeing Jamie "floating" in midair. And soon enough one of Jacks snowflakes landed on her nose and little sparkles dispersed, I could tell by the look on her face that she was now able to see Jack. Picking me back up we continued to slide down the streets. Sliding past one of Jamie's friend's houses we all called out the children.

"Reduce, Reuse and recycle!" I called out.

"Merry Christmas!" North's booming voice called out.

"Happy Easter!" then Bunny.

"Don't forget to floss!" And then Tooth.

Looking back, I didn't even notice that some of Jaime's friends were sliding with us. When we eventually stopped (somewhere in the middle of the city) all our happiness faded. Looking ahead there was a big wave of black sand in the distance. And after looking all around it was all around us.

"Oh, no…." I said as Jack shifted me from his back into his arms.

"Yeah!" One kid said running in front of us, but then after seeing the sand ahead, he screamed and ran behind us.

"You think a few children can help you, against this?!" Pitch called down from up above.

North lifted up his sword and tried to say something, but ended up grunting and leaning on it instead. I understood his pain….I wish I could say something as well.

"They're just bad dreams Jamie," Jack said glancing back towards Jamie trying to reassure him.

"We'll protect ya mate," Bunny said trying to calm the children down.

"Awww, you'll protect them, hahahaha!" Pitch chuckled as more thunder and lightning occurred.

"But who will protect you?!"

He's right….how are we going to protect the children when we can't even protect ourselves….

Glancing at each other we didn't know what to do. I was paralyzed in fear, but not for me, but for the children.

"I will," I heard Jamie say from being us, walking forward.

"I will!"

"I will!"

"I will!"

"Me too!"

"I-I'll try…" the last kid said.

I looked down at the kids in astonishment.

They're going to get themselves killed!

"Still think there's no such thing as the boogeyman!" Pitch sneered as the walls of black sand started to come at us at high speed.

"I do believe in you….I'm just not afraid of you," Jamie said giving a stern look.

The wave of black sand was about to hit us, but something happened. When Jamie put his hand up to block his face from the sand, as soon as it touched his hand it turned golden.

Gold sand?...

It spread and streams of golden sand started to flow everywhere. Glancing over I saw Tooth was able to fly again. She was zipping around with the biggest smile of her face. Looking over towards North I saw he had that "look" in his eyes again. Picking both of his swords up, he called out in joy. I then felt this weird warmth spread throughout my body. I felt empowered. It was though my body was full of energy.

"Hey Cly, looking good there," Jack said winking at me.

Glancing to the side I saw my hair was pure white again. I jumped out of Jack's hands and gave his the biggest hug I could muster (and actually ended up picking him up, but I put him back on the ground when I realized what I was doing).

"I can change to the seasons again!" I said as he swung me around.

Golden streams of sand started to twirl around me and I started rise in the air. Letting go of Jack, I looked down at him with a happy and perplexed look on my face. The sand then engulfed me and all I saw was light. There was a moment in which I felt as though lightning was surging through my body. The sand then dispersed away from me leaving an illuminating burst of light and sparkles. I gently fell to the ground and landed on my feet. Before I could comprehend what had happened I heard voices that didn't belong to my fellow companions.

Is it? IT IS! I CAN HEAR THEM AGAIN!

Reaching up I rubbed my fingers across my head and felt my wonderful ears. Looking back, I then and saw my big white wings. I finally then whipped my head and looked down and saw my big fluffy white tail. Grabbing my tail I jumped and cried out in pure joy.

"I CAN HEAR THEM! I CAN HEAR THEM! I CAN HEAR THEM! I CAN HEAR THEM!" I said jumping back into Jack's arms once more.

He just laughed in delight along with me, hugging me back.

"Haha, I missed seeing you with those ears!" he said ruffling my hair and petting my ears.

"W-wait one more thing!"

Letting go of Jack I put my hands in my mouth and felt two SHARP canine teeth.

"TOOTH LOOK!" I said smiling.

"YOUR TEETH!" she said flying over to me and putting her hands in my mouth, which was expected.

We both giggled and jumped up and down in utter happiness.

"Ugh, enough of this! GET THEM! DO YOUR JOBS!" Pitch said in anger.

The horses then started to charge at us. Quickly looking over I saw Bunny still hadn't changed back to his normal size yet, and was about to get trampled by the horses.

"Bunny look out!" I said flying over and grasping the little ball of fur.

"H-hey I was fine!" Bunny said looking embarrassed.

"Yeah sure you were," I said with a smirk.

I quickly placed him down back where everyone was. North by then had summoned his yetis by producing portals with his snow globes. The kids looked at them in astonishment. Looking down I saw that Bunny wasn't by me anymore and was being chased by the horses….again.

What am I going to do with him?...

I saw him scamper under a car and the horses surround him. I was about to go and save him yet again but when one of the horses pulled him out from under the car he was full size again.

Heh, talk about perfect timing….

After quickly defeating the horses he tapped the ground with his foot, causing his rabbit hole to appear. His big stone eggs started to emerge as all the kids watched in awe. Standing there I started to wonder what happened to my babies….what happened to Oak…..Seeing that North and Bunny where able to summon their workers I should be able now too. Being Mother Nature I have to go to many places around the world in a short matter of time, so I am able to summon things and make portals like Bunny and North. Closing my eyes I focused as hard as I could. I was about to place my hand on my necklace (which I need to do in order for it to work), but it wasn't there.

"Oh no!" I said franticly feeling around my neck.

Just then, two portals opened up beside me and swarms of wolves were coming out. I was so surprised that I didn't notice the certain canine that was standing in front of me. Looking forward I saw Oak.

"OAK!" I said lunging at him, throwing my arms around his furry body.

With tears running down my face I said, "I thought-I mean-how did you-I mean I-"

He just gave me a smile and titled his giving me his signature look: "I'm just that good."

"Oh who am I kidding I never know how you do these things!" I said laughing, hugging him tighter.

He rubbed his head against me but then gently pushed me away.

"What is it bud?" I questioned confused.

Lifting his head up I saw he was wearing my necklace around his neck.

"How did you-"

He grunted his response to me.

"You took it off of me when we were fighting Pitch?!" I said in astonishment.

I didn't even notice he grabbed it off my neck before I ordered him and the others to leave….

Hugging him once more I said, "You amaze me every time."

Looking up I saw everyone fighting together side by side against the nightmares. And we were wiping the floors with them. As my eyes scanned the crowd for Jack I saw he was up on one of the buildings fighting Pitch.

"Come on!" I said to everyone and started to fly up towards them.

Flying up as fast as I could I saw Pitch was about to throw an arrow of black sand at him. Taking my spear I slashed the arrow in half causing it to poof into black sand particles.

"Thanks Cly!" I heard Jack call out.

"No prob!" I replied with a smile on my face.

Making a U turn I followed Pitch as everyone else was. As Pitch tried jumping from one building to the next on his horse, North jumped towards him from the building Pitch was going to jump on ( I have no idea how North got on the wrong roof) and slashed his sword through Pitch's horse, having it disperse into black particles of sand. Right after Pitch landed swiftly on the ground, so did North, and they went into a sword fight.

Looks like North has his spunk back.

Bunny then came over and threw his boomerangs at him, which he dodged, but he didn't notice the vines I put over his ankles. As the vines pulled on his ankles, it caused him to fall over on his back with a thud. We were by then all gathered in front of him….side by side…like a real team.

"It's over Pitch," Jack said as we all started closing in on him.

"There's no place to hide."

Pitch just gave us an evil look and cackled. Quickly he hid himself in the shadows. Looking around, we franticly tried to pinpoint where he went. Listening intently I finally heard where he was….he was behind us! Turning around he was about to plunge one of his big arrows into Jack.

"Jack look out!" I said lunging forward past Jack and swung my spear at Pitch's arrow, causing it to go to the side.

Before I could swing my spear again a ribbon of gold sand wrapped itself around Pitch's arm and pulled him in the air and far away from us. We all looked at each other questionable and went in the direction that it took Pitch.

What the heck was that?

As we quickly made it out way over there, I saw a big ball of golden sand…..and SANDY?! While Pitch looked in horror, all of us looked in astonishment.

"SANDY?!" I gasped with a smile on my face.

Pulling Pitch towards him he smiled and shook his finger, and proceeded to punch him high into the night sky. Since Pitch was still attached to the ribbon of sand, Sandy pulled him back down and he hit the ground with a loud thud. While the kids where in awe I rushed past them and hugged my golden friend.

"YOU'RE OK!" I said burying my head in his soft shoulder and wrapping my wings around him.

Crying I said, "I thought you were dead….."

He then tilted my chin up and he shook his head with a smile.

"I guess we can't get rid of you that easily huh?"

He nodded his head and hugged me back.

Everyone else was now gathered around us, laughing in happiness that Sandy was alive. North picked Sandy up laughing and put him back down.

"Man, you're a sigh for sore eyes," Bunny said looking over at Sandy.

Smiling at us, Sandy made a cloud of gold sand and floated into the sky. He then started to spread his old sand everywhere, giving good dreams to all the children. Looking around there were all sorts of golden sand animals walking around. There was a unicorn, then a big long neck dinosaur, a big sting ray, and so forth. Glancing over at Jack I saw him give me his usual smile.

Wait is that a snowball in his hands?

Jack snickered seeing that I saw what he was planning. Jack looked over at Jamie and threw the snowball at him. Quickly turning around Jamie looked at Jack and giggled, and started to make his own snowball. Everyone then started throwing snowballs.

"You ready to be beaten?" Jack said looking over at me.

"OH please honey, I invented snowballs."

And the epic snowball fight began.

Yeah sorry...but that's about it...oh and I have something to tell you guys ^-^ but first *hides behind Sebastian* ok so usually when I can't write (due to a writers block which I had when I was trying to write this chapter) I have to write something else. It was kind of a little writing here and there and it pushed me to write this chapter. So in the process of that I wrote my first chapters for Free! iwatobi swim club AND hetalia. Don't know if I am going to post them yet since they aren't really edited, but if they are wanted they can be posted ^-^ But don't worry "The lost girl" chapter is first priority before that as well as this story ^-^. ANYWAYS...C U IN THE NEXT UPDATE!
