Hiei only needed one sniff to confirm his suspicion, but a hard blow to the chest made him jump back and he inadvertently went to a human shape to rub his chest. "Ouch! You're so mean!" Sasuke was facing his old teammate, not understanding his anger. A messenger of the Hokage came to him and said that the Senju wanted his presence. Naruto was adamant in following him, claiming that the woman wouldn't mind. In their way there they bumped on some guys, but Naruto was sure that he saw fox ears on the little boy. "The war must be getting to me." "What are you mumbling there dope?" "Nothing."

Sakura went to the hangout bar, made solely for kunoichi, finding the other girls of the Rookie group save for Hinata. 'It's time!' She sat down and began bragging about how she bedded Uzumaki Naruto, praising his stamina. When she looked up at her friends she saw that they had covered her ears. "What are you doing?!" Ino was the first one to speak up. "That's disgusting Forehead. And it's old news compared to what we found." "Oh? Enlighten me then." Tenten kicked the shin of the blonde. "We promised to not tell anyone!" "Ow, be easy on me, I didn't forget!" Sakura was confused, it seemed that she was the only one out of the loop, and she hated it.

Hinata went to the private bathhouse in the compound, taking her time to relax and let out the stress. It was much better than the public one, where she was bound to be badgered by her friends to spill out any secret she might have. After cleaning her body she entered in the warm pool, sighing in bliss. At the same time the group of foxes were reminiscing the old times while Tesshou struggled to bath Hiei. "So, did you decide in your gift?" Kurama groaned. "Ah, yes. But I think that rings are overrated now." He recalled his two first vessels in this village, all them had liked their gifts, but there was an undertone of disappointment, as they seemed to want something different. "Are you guys taking about Hinata?" "Hn?" Kiba was padding towards them, followed by Shino. "If you want a gift, I guess that a bracelet is good." The Aburame nodded. "Such an object is an unusual engagement gift, so I suppose that it will be a pleasant change." "Stay still you brat!" *WHACK!* The men turned to the source and saw the boy laughing at the man, who had a bucket shoved on his head. "Good! I knew that you had it in you!" Both Kiba and Tenko were openly cackling at the situation of Tesshou. "You got owned by a kid man!" That was it, the Inari decided. Those three would get what they deserved! Kurama and Shino saw the dark look and bailed out, not wanting to take part in the war. The brunette jumped on the trio and exacted his little revenge.

Hinata got out from the bath and got dressed, then she walked to the one garden that belonged to her mother. 'My life turned in a mess. I want to love Kurama... but I'm confused.' She wondered what her mother would say. 'She would want me to be happy...' She heard steps behind her. "Sis?" It was Hanabi, who simply sat by her side, hugging her in a way to compensate all those years they spent apart. "I miss Neji..." She smiled sadly. "I know, but remember what I said once?" Hinata was patting her back. "Yeah, he's always watching for us, like mom."

Tsunade steeled her nerves to face the Uchiha, if he got upset, the result wouldn't be pleasant. "Why are you here brat?!" She was glaring at Naruto. "Calm down granny, I'm here for a friend!" She snorted, the boy would never back off. "Do you recall your meeting with the council this morning?" She looked towards Sasuke, who had a smug smirk. "Yes, I assume that the Hyuuga accepted the terms, right?" Time to drop the bomb. "No, he tore apart the copy of the contract, refusing to even consider you as a suitor for anyone in his clan." Eyes got wide, showing the Sharingan. "Why not! He should be honored to help rebuilding my clan!" She saw that the Uzumaki was smiling. "I have one more new to you. His daughter, Hinata, was already promised to a man." "WHAT!?"
