Once all were inside and Jackson had returned wearing jeans and a tee shirt instead of his workout clothes they sat, waiting for Miss Holiday's instructions. She shuffled some papers on her clip board, a frown on her face.

"Well...?" Matilda pressed.

"Ah," Miss Holiday looked up. "I hate to to this but, you will be splitting up." She held up her hand as the team prepare their protests. "I won't be choosing the teams that is entirely up to you. Ivan has been spotted and I want two of you in the building's security, two by the doors and two stopping Ivan. Best fighters at the front please." She went back to her paper's saying, "We will be sending you to Cairo Africa so please try not to destroy anything."

The team turned to each other, watching Pufferfish for instructions. She bit her lip as a tickling pain shot through it. She was allergic to too much attention. "As much as i hate to say it i am not one of the strongest fighters, so I'll go up to the Security." she looked over. "Hyena will accompany me, to make sure no one gets in."

"Got it," Mindy said grudgingly.

"Flinch, I need you and Matilda to gaurd the doors," the pair nodded.

"Which leaves Brace- err Murcery and I to go after Ivan." Gluestick nodded.

"Great," Jackson groaned. "Well at least I get to pummeling him for last time."

Once on the ground Mindy stood, shaking her head. "I don't think im ever going to get used to jumping form that height."

"Well we're not on the ground yet," Pufferfish said, glancing over the side of the building. They had landed on the roof, preparing to sneak in through the fire esape.

hyena nodded and followed her leader.

On the ground Flinch and Wheezier waited by the doors while Gleustick and Murcery headed inside.

"You know..." Gluestick said, keeping time with his teammate's longer strides. "i might never get used to your new name."

"A bit weird isn't it?" Jackson smiled. "I'm still getting used to it myself."

They stopped by a potted plant, out of sight to any passers by, but not completely hiden, amking it look like they had merely paused to check the time.

"Ivan is on the second floor," Glue stick tapped, his hologram watch. "Pufferfish should be sending us the security cam."

Upstairs Pufferfish was tapping away on the computer for the security cameras, the unconsious guard on the ground next to her. Outside the door Hyena kept watch, catching her breath form the quick knock out she had given the man.

"You almost have it?" asked Hyena, peaking in through the door.

"Just... about..." Pufferfish tapped the last few keys. "and got it! Gluestick?" she called through the nose link.

"Yes?" Gluestick's voice said.

"I'm sending the images now."

Outside both Flinch and Wheezier sneezed and listening in on the message. "Do you think that Mercury will be able to control his powers now?" Wheezier asked.

"Hyena trust it and Miss Holiday trusts him," Flinch shrugged."Do you know why we got the boring jobs?"

She folded her arms, a dark expression flashing across her eyes. "I don't question orders from Pufferfish."

Flinch shrugged.

Back inside Gluestick and Mercury walked up the stairs casually, both looking like they belonged there.

"You going in, I'm backup?" Mercury confirmed. That was how it usually was.

"No, do you think you could follow me in on the ceiling?"

"Sure," He shrugged.

"Then follow me in. I'll go right you go left, stick the door so he cant escape. I'll get his attention you knock him out."

"Backup plan?"

"Knock him out."

"Got it."

Upstairs Hyena walked inside, and leaned against the closed door.

"What are you doing?" Pufferfish asked, not moving her eyes from the screens.

"It look suspicious if I'm just standing outside the door. We control the security, we can see anyone coming down the hall."

Pufferfish nodded, understanding her point.

"If you knew that why am I here," Hyena crossed her arms. "you could have knocked out the guard by yourself ad I'm no computer whiz."

"What is your point?" Pufferfish growled, scratching the back of her hand. She was allergic to confrontation.

"You could have split up this team anyway you wanted, Gluestick could have done the computer things better, even Wheezier knows more than I do. So WHY am I here?"

Pufferfish ran her hands through her curly hair. "I know you and Jack- Murcury are the best fighters, but you don't make the best team."

"What do you mean by that?"

She tried to find a way to put this delicately. "You two... like each other and I don't want your feelings getting in the way of the mission."

Hyena rolled her eyes, keeping her temper in check. "I dont like him, we're just frined. Besides, how would care for each other even make a difference?"

"Mission always comes first," Pufferfish said. "We can't let our feelings, no matter how strong, get in the way of that."

"Fine."

Downstairs both Mercury and Gluestick walked carefully on the ceiling. Gluestick watched while his teammate struggled to stay on the ceiling by use of very crude spider like tendrils he had created in his fingers.

"You ok?" Gluestick mouthed.

Mercury nodded though his face was bright red. "Hurry," he mouthed. He dashed across the ceiling, in position for the attack.

Gluestick carefully crawled along the ceiling toward the other side of the room, watching Ivan. He was getting flashbacks. The teen was standing in the middle of the room working on something with wires and tiny metal pieces. But something wasn't right. The EMP was supposed to be huge and deadly. The pieces on their couldn't be much larger than a slice of bread.

He landed on the ground with a gentle tap, not as quiet as it should be, but loud enough to get Ivan's attention.

"Come out form behind there," Ivan called. "How many of you are there this time?"

Gluestick came out from behind the crate, pretending his bravery was quivering. "Just one!"

"I'm almost disappointed," Ivan sighed, not bothering to look up from his creation. "Would you like to know what I'm working on?" He asked.

"Why would you tell me?" Gluestick said cautiously.

Ivan sighed. "I thought you had learned by now, I'm not your typical villain, if you can even call me that."

"Why wouldn't I call you a villain?" Gluestick walked forward.

"I don't seek world domination or to control anything," Ivan continued working on his device. Behind Gluestick saw Mercury slowly sneaking forward, the particles of metal swirling in and out of his fingers.

"So what is your purpose?" Gluestick wondered for a moment if this mission wasn't needed. If his mission wasn't world domination then what was it?

"Simply this," Ivan put down his machine and gave his full attention to Gluestick. "Once perfected my EMP will be able to enhance or destroy any electronic device in the entire world with the flip of a switch." He grinned almost maniacally. "Imagine all the cell phones blown up, cars unable to run, or they could run even faster, giving us unlimited access to the Internet. Everything cold speed up, eventually our brains able to take in thousands of Terabytes of information and-"

THUNK!

Mercury jumped back as the older teen fell to the ground, unconscious. "Ow!" he shook his hand as his fist pulled back. "He's got a thick skull."

Gluestick laughed in relief. "This guy's crazy. Let's take him in. Then we can be done with him."

A chuckle came from the supposedly unconscious body. "Good punch," he groaned, "you almost had me convinced you were alone Agent Gluestick. Unfortunately," he stood, keeping his eyes locked on the dark haired boy. "It didn't quite work." He turned and grinned, "ah the cyborg boy. So nice to see you."

"How are you still up?" Mercury said, ignoring the jab about his abilities. "That kind of punch should have had you out cold."

"Ah," Ivan smiled, "that's just it. I'm not here. This is my robot, a mere hologram really."

"What?" Gluestick cried. "That tech is way to advanced for you the only people who have that power is..." Mercury glanced down at his still vibrating hands.

"Yes, you see when our little cyborg boy latched onto the hull of my escape ship his lovely little nano bots got stuck there as well and I was able to examine them. It is thanks to you I am able to be somewhere else."
