Chapter 12.

Cassandra's POV

The next several months flew by in a wirlwind for me. I started doing backstage interviews and I had to admit I was loving the job. Especially when I got to interview John. I sometimes found it hard not to start beaming every time he stepped up to do an interview with me. He certainly had an effect on me. I was madly in love with him and getting very excited about our upcoming wedding. Which would be taking place back in Toronto at Casa Loma.

We were going with a Medieval/Fairy Tale theme for the wedding. John would be dressing up in stage armour as a knight. He had so much fun doing that when he proposed to me at Medieval Times that we knew that he had to do it again for the wedding. Only this time I would be dressed as the Princess to match him.

I had finally found my dress. It was prefect. A snow white strapless satin ballgown with a big puffy skirt and beautiful lace appiliques, I chose a sparkly tiara and veil headpiece to go with it. We even had a pair of glass slippers custom made. My bouquet would be made up of red roses and white and pink stargazer lilies.

The bridesmaids, my Diva friends, Melina, Kelly, Nikki and Brie and Natalya would be my ladies in waiting. They would be dressed in different jewel coloured satin gowns and they would carry small bouquets of matching gerbera daisies. The Groomsmen, John's brothers, would wear black tuxedos with bowties and cummerbunds to match each bridesmaid.

Time continued to fly by...and finally the day was upon us. I awoke with a big smile on and looked outside to see a beautiful sunny Saturday morning in June in Toronto.

I couldn't help thinking about John. Last night we had slept apart for the first time in months because according to tradition the Groom isn't supposed to see the bride before the wedding. I couldn't wait to see him! I knew he was going to look very handsome! I didn't have much time to worry about it however because the hairdresser and make up artist arrived and began to make us all beautiful.

While we were being transformed, there was a knock on the hotel room door where we were staying, and Melina answered it. There was a guy there with a card from John. It said:

Can't wait to see you.

Can't wait to make you my wife.

Can't wait for our life to begin.

Love always, John.

I was moved to tears. (Thank goodness for waterproof makeup!) He was so amazing. Ever since we had met, We had fallen deeper and deeper in love with each other. Now here we were getting married. It was almost unreal.

Finally it was time to head off to Casa Loma. I hurried out to the limo with the other girls, and we all piled in.

The ceremony began promptly, and as I began my walk down the aisle to Enya's "Fairytale" I couldn't help smiling. Especially when I finally caught sight of John at the other end of the aisle. It was then that everything else just seemed to dissapear.

JOHN'S POV

I felt my heart skip a beat as the doors to the Conservatory opened and the first notes of Cass' entrance song began to play. This was it! I was finally going to see her in her wedding gown. When she appeared at the end of the aisle on her father's arm, I felt a big smile come over my face. She looked like an angel. My bride, my princess, the love of my life.

When she finally reached the end of the aisle, I walked over and took her hand from her father, and we turned to face the minister.

Everything carried on, and then we got ready to exchange rings.

Cass looked me in the eye, and said solemnly "With my hand I give you my heart, With my heart, I give you my soul. We are one, today, tomorrow, and forever."

I looked at Cass and repeated what she had just said, sliding her ring on her finger.

The minister declared us married, and I pulled Cass into my arms and everyone cheered as we shared a very passionate kiss.

CASSANDRA'S POV

After the ceremony ended it was off to pose for pictures. Which we did in the gardens. Then it was time for Cocktails and snacks in the Great Hall, while we waited for the Conservatory to be turned into our reception area.

John and I smiled and greeted guests in the receiving line. Everyone congratulated us and said it had been a beautiful ceremony.

Soon enough it was time for the guests to go in and be seated for dinner. John and I got a few minutes to talk to each other while that was happening.

"If I forget to tell you later, you look absolutely beautiful." he said to me, and leaned in for a quick kiss.

"You look pretty hot yourself there, handsome." I told him.

"I can't wait until tonight." he said to me and I blushed.

Just then we got the word that it was time, and we took our place just outside the doors. I smiled as I heard the DJ playing our entrance song, L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole.

Then we heard John's brother Matt introduce us

"Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in welcoming in public for the first time as man and wife, Mr. And Mrs. John Cena!"

John and I smiled, and went out into the middle of the dance floor together. The DJ took his cue and our first dance began to play. The song was "I Swear." by John Michael Montgomery. John pulled me into his arms and held me as we began to move around the floor.

I see the questions in your eyes
I know what's weighing on your mind
But you can be sure I know my part
'Cause I'll stand beside you through the years
You'll only cry those happy tears
And though I'll make mistakes
I'll never break your heart

I swear
By the moon and stars in the sky
I'll be there
I swear
Like the shadow that's by your side
I'll be there
For better or worse
Till death do us part
I'll love you with every beat of my heart
I swear

I'll give you everything I can
I'll build your dreams with these two hands
We'll hang some memories on the wall
And when there's silver in your hair
You won't have to ask if I still care
'Cause as time turns the page
My love won't age at all

I swear
By the moon and stars in the sky
I'll be there
I swear
Like the shadow that's by your side
I'll be there
For better or worse
Till death do us part
I'll love you with every beat of my heart
I swear

I swear
By the moon and stars in the sky
I'll be there
I swear
Like the shadow that's by your side
I'll be there
For better or worse
Till death do us part
I'll love you with every beat of my heart
I swear
I swear

Everyone applauded as we finished the dance and headed for our seats at the head table.

Dinner was served then. The menu went a little something like this.

Strawberry Romaine Salad

Prime Rib with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Veggies

OR

Honey Barbecue Chicken Breast with Parisienne Potatoes and Steamed Broccoli

Lemon Sorbet (To cleanse the palate)

Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

OR

Italian Tiramisu

Coffee and Tea

Speeches by John's brothers, The Maid of Honour and our parents followed dinner and then there was the father/daughter dance, I loved the song I had chosen for my dance with my Dad, to the song"I Loved Her First" by the country and western group Heartland.

John's dance with his Mom was really sweet. It wasto a really sweet song about how he would always be her son. I had tears in my eyes after it was over.

The DJ announced that the floor was open to everyone, and the party started to get into full swing.

Before we knew it, it was time to cut the cake. It was so beautiful that it seemed like a shame for us to be cutting it up. It was a five tiered square cake, with a castle on top made of spun sugar. John cut the cake with his sword and everyone laughed as we smashed the cake in each other's faces.

I couldn't believe how quickly the whole day had just flown by...but it had been amazing, and I would remember it for the rest of my life for sure.

After the tossing of the bouquet and garter, John and I were dashing out to the limo under a shower of glitter and confetti. We would be spending our wedding night at the same hotel where we had spent our first night together. The Fairmont Royal York, before catching a private plane in the morning to Jamaica.

Once we were on our way, I cuddled up against John, and we kissed.

"I love you Mr. Cena!" I said to him

"Ditto, Mrs. Cena." he told me.
