The Reddings coven all has a power over the mind, but it is not always mind control. Collin had that control over the mind, but Conner was a hypnotist. I'm sorry I didn't make that more clear, but I thought I hinted at it enough (hence the hypnotic eyes…).
I am not yet done with the story! I haven't even gotten to the preface chapter, so don't worry. There'll be more updates. I guess I'm a little over halfway through…
