I apologize for taking so long but like I said, being in college takes its toll on you. For the past few weeks I've been swamped by nothing except schoolwork, projects, exams and performances so that's why it took me more than a month to get back into writing. But look on the bright side I can tell you with all honesty that none of my stories are gonna die, that I assure you. It pisses me of when a story doesn't reach its end, I'm not one of those kind of writers who abandon their story just like that.

Next Chapter! Be done with you!

It was a beautiful day. The sun had just risen, and Hiccup was the first one to the training grounds. The past few days have been the ride of his life. Learning the art he always dreamed of and all the while helping Jack.

Hiccup had made a ridiculous amount of progress of his training in just a very short time. Gobber was impressed to say the least, never in such a long time did he meet someone so dedicated and hard working like Hiccup. To further test the young boy Gobber pitted him against his fellow students. Hiccup was more than happy to show just how much he's progressed in the time, and manhandled pretty much everyone Gobber threw at him. The next contender made another uneasy glance at his opponent. The said freckled faced autumn caster named Hiccup only gave him sympathetic smirk filled with the most confidence the teen had at this time, and considering how well Hiccup has progressed with his training in the past few days, the confidence was very high right now.

Both contenders got into their stances and stared each other down as they waited for the signal to begin. Gobber watched with a smile as he observed the most promising student he's had in years perform right infront of him "All right the two of you start when I say so!" he shouted from the sidelines.

Hiccup smirked then assumed one of his stances and stared down his opponent, said person took an involuntary step back and put his hands up in an utterly useless attempt to defend himself. Both of them stood there awaiting for their signal to start. Hiccup was still as stone, with a face of pure confidence, while the other was a mess; body trembling, visible sweating and a nervous twitching face.

Gobber finally announced "BEGIN!"

The other boy quickly blasted as much amber leaves as he could to Hiccup. The freckled teen merely made a quick spin and dispersed the shot. Then he spun his arms and made a gigantic gust of wind at his opponent and sent him flying to the stands. Gobber and Hiccup held their silent laughter as they watched the boy steadily pick himself up. The golden haired man began walking towards the both of them

"Nice try Gustav" he said to the boy "In a couple more years of training maybe you'll be able to take down one terrible terror" He kidded. Gustav groaned and sank lower into the ground feeling completely and uterly pathetic. Gobber smiled fondly at the boy and watched Gustav slowly make his way back to the bench where Hiccup's opponents for the day. All of them were boys of different shapes and sizes collectively nursing themselves to a better state of feeling.

The echo of collective pained groans and the sight of bruised skin and the messy look as if they had just gotten out of a war zone amused Gobber very much. "Anyone else care for a rematch with Hiccup?" He asked with a giddy little voice. Their was a loud sound of nothing as they all shrank back and bowed their heads trying their absolute hardest to conceal themselves.

Gobber had his answer, with that he smiled and turned to Hiccup "Hiccup my boy, you've advanced much more quickly than any student I've ever trained" Hiccup felt his pride glow as he heard that "You have proven that with fierce determination, passion and hardwork...anything can be done" Gobber's smile than pursed to a thin line "raw talent alone is not enough" he said looking at someone in particular.

Hiccup followed his line of sight and saw that Jack was having a fun little game with was conjuring some snowflakes and watched as the creature tried to catch them in his bare palms, only to be disappointed when he saw nothing but water in them. The Guardian desperately tried to contain his laughter at the sight.

Gobber cleared his throat with a little more noise than necessary. Jack immediately jumped and stopped what he was doing and turned his attention back to his master. Gobber's face did not falter even an inch. "Care to step into the sparing circle and show us what you've learned young Guardian? Since you found the time to play with your pets I'm sure you've already mastered Autumn Casting" Gobber crossed his arms and leveled the teen.

Jack wavered a little bit "I wouldn't exactly say mastered, but check this out!" he threw his arms in the direction of nearest tree and siphoned some sap and brought it to his hands. He then began to shape it into a blobby little form of some sort and proudly showed it to Gobber and Hiccup.

The two raised their brow's and stared at the picture trying to make heads or tails out of it. After a brief moment of silence "Okay? What is it?" Gobber finally asked while pinching the bridge of his nose.

Jack made a shocked face, he really thought they would've gotten it right "What is it?! It's a sap man. A tree sap version of a snowman"he said.

Gobber only stared underwhelmingly, while Hiccup just face palmed himself and groaned.

Snotlout pitchforked another pile of hay to Phil. The bison yeti was quick to begin munching on it happily. Feeling pleased with what he was seeing he turned his attention back to Anna who was sitting on a fence in the stables keeping him company. "So let me get this straight, South Berk doesn't have palaces?" she asked

Snotlout chuckled at that "Are you kidding me? The biggest house there was only two stories tall and even that was made out of sticks and stones" he replied.

Anna laughed joyfully at his remark then walked over and gave him a light smack to the back. The larger teen then began rubbing it ,even though it didn't really hurt that much. The two then spent a few moments to just look at each other after laughing to their hearts content. For a moment their troubled lives seemes to stop existing as they just got lost in the deep beauty of each others eyes.

Anna then quickly snapped out of it "Snotlout, this is wrong" she stated turning her back to him

Snotlout frowned at her "What's wrong? we're two friends just hanging out"

Anna turned to him while shaking her head "I'm engaged! It just-it just , IT FEELS Soooo-" she sighed defeatedly unable to finish. Snotlout looked as the girl slumped forward feeling so unhappy. It pained him to see the princess like that. He turned his back to her unable to face her. Looking dejectedly in the ground, his sight drifted off to the bison yeti he was feeding. Then a brilliant idea popped into his head.

He looked to her with a smile and said "I know what you need, a ride on my good friend Phil"

Anna went wide eyed "Uhm no thank you, I ...never... really ...flew before" She reluctantly admitted

Snotlout cocked his head "You live in a kingdom filled with flying reptiles, and you're telling me you never flew before" he deadpanned

Anna only chuckled a response "It's not really my cup of tea" shrugging her shoulders she gave him a nervous grin.

Snotlout smiled back, this girl was just so adorable "You'll love it. Trust me."

The two the got ontop of Phil and Snotlout grabbed the reigns and sat down o the bison yeti's head. Still reluctant to go with the boy Anna unsurely sat down beside him. Once they were sat down, Snotlout then lead Phil out of the large stables and into the clearing. Anna gave a nervous look around her "So how exactly can this thing fly without any wings?" she asked

Snotlout only smirked "Let's not do questions about my amazing little friend. You hanging on tight?"he nodded slowly "Well then, Yip...Yip" Phil slammed his giant tail to the ground and the three of them immediately shot up into the air.

"OH! MY GOODNESS!" Anna screamed as the winds blew violent threw her face and hair.

Once they were high enough, Snotlout slowed down and just hovered through the air for awhile. Anna took this minute to look down at her kingdom "The view is beautiful up here!" She said.

Snotlout felt another smile tug across his lips "That's not the only thing that's beautiful" Anna tensed a little, but then blushed feverishly at what he said. The two of them then continued their flight across the kingdom.

"Is it always this cold in the sky?" Anna hugged her body tightly.

Snotlout knew he shouldn't but he couldn't stop himself from hugging her body close to his. Going to her he put his arm around her "Not when someone's with you its not" He said merely inches away from her face.

Anna felt her heart melt as she looked down trying to hide her flustered face. Snotlout placed two fingers under her chin and lifted her head up so they were now facing each other. They closed their eyes, and litttle by little the space between them became smaller. Their lips were about to meet until a sudden darkness loomed over them. Both stopped and looked to the sky.

Snot;out's breath got caught in his throat as he saw that the sky was covers in a large cloud of thick black smoke "No" he whispered.

Anna was confused "What's happening?"

"Smoke" Snotlout said

Anna looked at him "Huh?"

Snotlout's face had a look of darkness, as if he remembered something paining him. "I've seen this before, right before my village was attacked. A cloud of black smoke came before-" he stopped looking further down.

"Before what?" Anna had to ask.

Snotlout looked at her "Its the Summer Nation. Their coming to Arendelle, and judging by how big the smoke cloud is, there's alot of them coming" he turned his attention back to the horizon and looked at the coming threat.

On the deck of the leading ship, Alvin stood there with Elinor at his side. They were conversing on their task as they ventured through the ocean. Alvin was pleased with himself, being the one to lead the invasion of the great kingdom of Arendelle. He had hopes of capturing the Guardian to make his name, but as long as he can help his nation spread the cruelty of this war he was happy nonetheless.

"This invasion will truely be remembered General Elinor" He said "Just think it, centuries from now they'll hear of me! Alvin! The glorious Summer Caster who brought down the last of the Autumn Tribe civilizations. I feel so incredible!" he laughed proudly at himself.

Elinor seemed unphased as she just looked at him with a blank expression "Be careful what you wish for Alvin, History hasn't been kind to its subjects" her voice was completely monotone. Deep inside Elinor really wanted to blast this man's head off, make him suffer, let him know great pains. She wanted him to pay for what he tried to do to her niece. But all in good time, she can't mess up this opportunity for Merida.

Alvin only chuckled, clearly not minding her "I take it that's something from experience. But rest assured, this will not be like your failure at Pixie Hollow" with that he turned his attention back to the horizon. Elinor only bit her lip and did her best to restrain herself. "Please go tell the captains to prepare for first strike" he commanded. Elinor saw it as a good thing she really didn't want to be around this man anymore than she had to.

Elinor made her way through the halls of the ship as silently as possible making quite sure nobody was able to see her. As soon as she was sure nobody was around she quickly picked up her pace and darted off to the corner of the ship where Merida was. Elinor saw her niece still wearing the soldier disguise and walked over to her.

"We'll be reaching Arendelle soon, do you have a plan?" she asked

Merida pulled of the helmet and let her aunt see the uncertainty in her face "I'm working on it as best I can"

Elinor sighed dejectedly, she hoped to hear better than that.

The people in the kingdom started to panic. This is the first time a threat to their kingdom was so huge. They had managed to fend of the Summer Nation before but never this many. Their kingdom sounded the alarms, letting everyone know to gather at the great hall to figure out what to do. Once they were sounded everyone ran to the hall as fast as they could.

In the midst of the panic Snotlout was leading Anna by the hand to there but suddenly the princess stopped and pulled her hand away from him. "What's wrong? we haft to go!" Snotlout said

"Snotlout...I..I ..I CANT SEE YOU ANYMORE!" she said

Snotlout went wide eyed "What? We're just friends" he tried to reason

"I wish we could just stay that way, but we can't. I like you too much and it's confusing for me to be around you when I'm getting married. TO SOMEONE ELSE!" her voice cracked as she said that

Snotlout saw the look in her eyes, and studied it, something was off. "You don't love the guy do you? You don't even seem like you like him" he said.

Anna shook her head "I don't. But its for my people, I haft to, I love them"

"Its not them your marrying" Snotlout reached out to her only to have her pull further away.

Anna took a deep breath and then looked to him with a dead serious face "You don't understand. I have duties as a Princess of this kingdom. Duties to my people, to my father. I can't treat this as a choice" With that settled she began to walk away from him "Goodbye" without another word she ran off, leaving a very heart broken viking teen behind.

The next day, the day the battle for the kingdom will take place. Jack watched the horizon as the bright blue sky painted by the shine of the sun loomed over the peaceful ocean. It was a beautiful and breathtaking sight to behold. It was hard to believe that in a few hours the rage of war would soon be destroying it.

Chief Richard walked over to him "The stillness before battle is unnerving isnt it?"

Jack was surprised to see him there but it couldn't bother him. SO much was riding on the line he can't seem to focus on anything else "It is. Chief Richard, I wasn't there when the Summer Nation attacked my people. This time I'm gonna make a difference"he said.

Gripping his staff he turned his head back to the horizon and braced himself for the coming battle.

They were all set and ready, The battle ships of the kingdom were all aligned at the dock's, Several dragon riders were in their take off position, Their catapults were prepared to fire at a command. Now they waited. In their sight they saw the first ship come into view, and saw that it had catapulted a fire shot.

It came towards them with great speed and deadly accuracy. Comepletly obliterating one of the ships. The shockwave of the explosion int he water shook the other ones in it's place. With the first attack fired the warriors were quick to shout "ATTACK!" and with that the warriors of Arendelle sped off to battle. The Autumn Casters used their winds to further proppelle themselves in the water making for better speed. The dragon riders began flying into the direction of the enemy.

Jack saw that another shot had been fired. Another gigantic ball of fire coming towards them. He leaped into action immediatley. He flew towards the fire ball and intercepted it. Once he was close enough he froze and shattered into bits of pieces. He then landed on one of the enemy ships and began to fight the crew. Weapons were thrown, shots were exchanged and powers blasted. Fortunately enough Jack got the upper hand and ended destroying the ship. Flying of to safety he took another look at his handy work.

"Not bad. Didn't know I could break things so easily" He laughed then proceeded to fly further into the war zone. Once he was high enough he saw that there were so many other BLACK, METAL, SMOKE FUMING ships were headed towards the kingdom. His heart sank, they were so many!.

Chief Richard stood infront of the troops assembled before him "MEN!, we're going to be infiltrating the Summer Navy ships. you'll need these uniforms" he said. A tall leanbuilt brunnette man dressed in a bright orange colored soldier out fit then stepped forward.

Snotlout couldn't help but chuckle at the sight "HAHA"

The man glared at him "What's so funny?!" he growled.

Snotlout stopped and then replied "Summer Navy Uniforms don't look like that"

"Ugh yeah they do! These were captured from actual Summer Navy invaders!"

"Pfft! Like when? A hundred years ago?"

He paused for a moment then mumbled "Eighty five" he corrected

Snotlout only grinned and then crossed his arms his point had just been made "Chief Richard, the uniforms now are more stream lined, with less shoulder spikes" he walked over to the man in the outfit to play with the things.

Chief Richard rubbed his chin in thought "I see, we will haft to rethink our strategy"

The Model of the outfit toe his shoulder away from Snotlout and turned to Richard "Chief, how do you know you can trust this oaf!? he has a bold tongue for such a new recruit!" he said.

"HANS! Snotlout, is from our sister tribe, a capable warrior, and I trust him with my own life!" he screamed. Hans only glared at Snotlout who was wearing a look that said 'What do you have to say now punk?'. Richard then cleared his throat and snapped the two from their staring contest "Now then, our first priority is to identify their commanding officer" he said

"His name is Alvin" said Snotlout. Silence loomed over the group of men as they all stared at him. Snotlout shrugged them off and explained "Long beard, rugged face, a couple of missing teeth, the guy tried to kill us most of the time sort of hard to miss"

"Snotlout I want you to tell everything you know to Hans, he's the one who's leading this mission. Hans show Snotlout complete respect, I expect nothing less from my future son in law" With that chief Richard turned around and left the room
