A/N- *Hides behind enlarged telephone* Sorry for not updating!? I was on holiday for a week with no Internet and then I got back and... well, that book Poison Study I mentioned the other time, I stopped reading it for a while because the author was being unnecessarily mean to my favourite character and now... he's dead. So I was really upset and then popular people decided to get on my nerves and also my Harry Potter songfic was reported for plagiarism for the second time so I took it off the site for the second time.

So yeah, I'm just generally annoyed at people so make my month better by reviewing! I will be happy!

Disclaimer: Am I a man- NO. Have I written a published book- NO. Did I invent the Lorien Legacies- NO.
This means that I am neither of the authors of the Lorien Legacies so I don't own the series.

Six POV

I woke up to muttering and hushed voices. "They might go somewhere else completely different in an hours time. There's no point in chasing them all over the country!" A voice I recognized as Adam's said.
"Well we can't just leave them there! What if they assume that we're coming for them and stay there!" John argued. I sat up and tried to listen to the conversation.
"It's dangerous in Chicago, they think that we'll try to go back so they're probably swarming the city like flies!" Adam explained, he never referred to the Mogs by name.
"What's going on?" I asked curiously.
"Sam, Nine, Marina and Eight have gone from India to New Mexico briefly then to Chicago" Sarah told me exasperatedly. For once, couldn't they just be somewhere that isn't swarmed with Mogs or in another continent?
"We're trying to decide whether to go to them or let them go somewhere safer first" John said tiredly. He looked exhausted and I wasn't surprised, he had probably stayed up all night watching the tablet for the location of the others.
"Why don't we wait for an hour, then if they haven't left we can go get them" Ella piped up from the other side of the room. John and Adam both opened their mouths to argue but then shut them again, seemingly not finding anything wrong with her plan.
"I agree with Ella" Malcolm stated. Quickly everyone else agreed and Ella looked extremely pleased with herself for suggesting the new plan. Now all we had to do was occupy ourselves for an hour with no means of training.

Marina POV
We were staring up at what was left of Nine's penthouse. I was still holding Eight's hand so I yanked it and started to pull him over to a nearby shop. As I expected, Nine and Sam followed. "We need to get out of here. The Mogs are probably hiding in every corner of the city" I told them, trying to make it look like a casual conversation.
"It looked so much worse than what I was expecting" a glum Nine said. That penthouse was his home and he had just seen it completely destroyed.
"I'm sorry, but we need to get out of here and we can't teleport on a random busy street" I proclaimed.
"Why don't we try to look for a place behind a store where no-one can see us?" Sam suggested. We all nodded in agreement and as we left the store I suggested that we split into twos. Teenagers were expected to be so... I don't know, dodgy, even a small group of four might look suspicious lurking in the unseen corners of Chicago.
"Come on then Sam!" Nine announced, slapping Sam's back and heading out the door.
"Wow, I didn't realize the penthouse would affect him so badly." Eight muttered and I just shook my head then lead him outside. We tried to discreetly find a place where no-one would see a few kids vanishing into mid-air, I don't really want to be this reason that someone is admitted into a psychiatric hospital. Eight took my hand and I squeezed his and smiled at him. He opened his mouth to say something but was cut short by a huge crash which sounded like it was coming from the direction I last saw Nine and Sam. I froze and felt my heart start racing wildly out of pure terror. There was a dust cloud forming and more crashes pulsed through the air. I snapped myself back to life and started sprinting towards the sound. It was just getting louder and I couldn't see anyone.
"MARINA!" Eight shouted and he ran over to me, grabbed my hand then teleported. Teleported right into the swirling cloud of dust that my enhanced eyesight couldn't see through, right into the heart of the battle. I saw the shapes of two Kraul and a Piken but there was probably more.
"It's Ra!" I heard Sam scream. No. Three Loric and a human against an army of Mog soldiers, at least three Mog demons and no less than Ra himself. I always tried to be an optimist, but I really don't think we can all survive this battle.

A/N- Cliffhanger? I don't know make up your own minds! I promise I'll update sooner next time, if not you can erase all of my memories of Eight. Unless, you know, something tragic happens and I'm attacked by a velociraptor or something like that.

I want to add a new POV so vote in reviews or PM me!
