Chapter 11

A few hours had passed and Misaki was still missing. Usagi was back at home with the police trying to figure out what was going on. After Usagi called the police he had also called Takahiro and Aikawa to let them know what was going on. Both were in shock and made it to the author's house within 30 minutes.

The lead detective on the case asked all three several questions detaining to how Misaki looked, how he acted, if he ever mentioned anything about being followed, and other procedural questions. The act of all of this lasted for over an hour.

Soon Usagi grew restless and demanded that they go out there and find his boy. As usual they told him that they were doing everything that they could and they left it at that, they got back to work.

Usagi stepped away from all of the police and went to make a phone call. The phone rang for a while, but no one answered.

Misaki was just waking; slowly he tried to get up, but was stopped short as something was holding him down. Looking up he saw nothing but darkness. He tried moving his hands but they were bound by the wrists, so were his legs. Slowly fear crept into his stomach. He couldn't see, hear or smell anything to indicate to where he was. As far as he knew he could be in some other country, far away from his bunny. And this terrified him.

The silence of the room terrified Misaki. He tried opening his mouth to call out, but some sort of cloth was blocking him from doing so. All he could do was sit there and wait for someone to come and talk to him. Misaki sat there and tried to heighten his other senses. He could smell cold, crisp air. It was as if he was inside a building. He listened closely and he could hear footsteps and voices in the background. It seemed like the voices and footsteps were getting closer.

Misaki froze and waited. The voices stopped, but the footsteps gained in speed and stopped right in front of his door. Misaki breathe slowly and deeply and counted, 30 seconds have already gone by and nothing has happened. Still he sat there controlling his nerves, breathing, and counting. Already a minute has passed by. But to Misaki it felt like an hour has gone by.

He couldn't help but think of Usagi to distract himself. Where is he now? Is he worried? Is he looking for me? I miss him so bad. I need him with me. Who's doing this? Could it be Haruhiko? Or someone out for money? But I'm not worth anything! Why would someone do this!? Calm down, calm down.

As Misaki tried getting his breath under control yet again, the door silently started to open. The faintest creak was made from the door and Misaki tensed up. He started breathing faster, his breathes became more shallow.

"Calm down Misaki. We are not going to hurt you. We just want to talk to you. Don't struggle, don't scream, just relax and be calm." The voice came from behind the young man. He was terrified, but to the strangers command he started to control his breathing.

His breathes became more deep and calming, but his heart was still in a frantic run. He could hear the beat of his heart bursting through his ears, it was as if his heart beat filled up the room and left everything else silent. Misaki had heard the voice and it sounded so familiar. He knew who it belonged to, but he couldn't speak. Not for fear for what they would do to him if he had, he simply couldn't, there was something still covering his mouth.

After two-minutes of controlled breath he simply nodded, and gentle hands went to work on getting off his binds. At the first touch Misaki tensed up and slowly started breathing fast again, but was stopped short at the sound of the voice again. "No need to be alarmed we are simply unbinding you so we can talk and you can stretch."

Misaki nodded again and the men went to work again. Three-minutes have passed and Misaki was un-bound from the chair. There Misaki stood in a corner of the room, holding himself. He couldn't believe his eyes. He was in the Usami mansion, on the other side of Japan. And there standing in-front of him was Haruhiko and Tanaka, the house butler.

Misaki looked up from the ground in horror. "Why? What is it that you want that you had to go to such lengths to do this?" Misaki stood there and shook his head, trying to shake the terrible feeling he was having. Slowly he slipped to the floor and began sobbing.

Usagi was still pacing the room. The phone call he made was odd, whenever he called, there was always an answer. This only made his fears rise. Two-hours have passed and still nothing is being done about Misaki missing. The police have done nothing but get word that his love was gone. Takahiro and Aikawa went out personally and passed out flyers around town. Usagi could do nothing but pace the room and be worried. He pulled out his phone again and made several more phone calls. He gained a lot of information from the calls.

Usagi couldn't take the wait anymore. He grabbed his coat, put his shoes on and left without letting anyone know. He drove around and went to find Takahiro and Aikawa. He drove around all over the neighborhood but didn't find them. When he got to the business district he found both of them leaving a store with still plenty of fliers in their arms.

"You guys should probably get into the car. I think I might have a lead as to where Misaki is."

"Sensei how would you know?" As they got into the vehicle Usagi didn't speed off, until the door was shut. "I know because I made many phone calls. The first phone call I made was to my old home, and there was no answer. Usually there is an answer. So I caught that as suspicious. And I can just tell that my family is behind this, it has my brother and father written all over it."

Takahiro looked at Usagi in shock. "But why would you think that."

"Because my brother is apparently in love with Misaki and I try to keep him away from my family but it never works out. And my father is part of this because he doesn't want me to be with Misaki. He's been trying to split us up for years. But I didn't think my father would stoop so low as to kidnap him."

The rest of the ride to the house was in silence, each person thinking through what was going on. Another 30 minutes pass and they were just round the bend to the front of the house. Quickly they ran out of the car and ran up the steps to the door. Usagi got to the door first and started pounding fast and loud on the door. 2 minutes past by and still no answer to the door.

Usagi steps back and tries to kick he door down. But before that happens the door opens, revealing and older man in a suit. "Ah Master Akihiko it's you, welcome home. And I see you bring guests. Please come in. How must I help you today?"

"Tanaka where is my father and brother?" Usagi and the rest made their way into the house. Each of them looking through the rooms. "Ah Master Akihiko the others are out on business, what is going on?"

Usagi just made it to his father's office. He made his way inside and started looking through his paper work. "Misaki is missing and I believe that my father and brother have something to do with it. Now I need you to tell me where they went and how long they have been out. And anything else they might have told you."

"Master Misaki is missing? I'm so sorry to hear that. And to where ever they were going should be in their office. Check today's plans. I will call the driver and have him come immediately."

"Thank you Tanaka-san. Please I need you to call me as soon as you find something, whatever it may be."

"Of course Master Akihiko"
