Chapter 12: Confrontation

Blaze and Tangle stood face to face with Ardin and Dione respectively in the middle of the arena. Marine remained unconscious above them hanging by her chains.

"Let's end this once and for all, Ardin." The feline ignited her fists in flames.

Ardin laughs at her power. "You think fighting fire with fire will help you? You really have no idea what I'm capable of." He points in her direction sending a bolt of lightning at her and Tangle.

Tangle grabs Blaze dodging the strike. "What the…!? You can use lightning!?"

"Like an earth mover can learn to manipulate metal and lava, a fire mover can learn how to harness the power of lightning." He fires a second bolt at them.

Blaze leaps towards Ardin pouncing on him lashing her claws at him.

Tangle follows only to be struck by a rock.

Dione launches several more rocks at the lemur drawing away her attention.

Tangle blows away the rocks with her wind before launching Dione off the platform.

Ardin looks over at Dione. "No!"

Blaze strikes Ardin while he's distracted with a fire ball.

"Ah! Dione!" He runs over to the ledge looking down.

Dione had solidified the lava beneath her with her.

"That's my girl."

"You know it." She leaps back into the battle kicking Blaze to the edge.

Tangle launches a gust of air at her only for Ardin to counter with a flame blast.

Dione stomps her hoof on the ground trapping the feline in stone.

Blaze struggles trying to break free to no avail. "Can't…move…"

Dione walks over placing her hoof on Blaze's head. "How's about I help you move your head from your shoulders?"

Tangle grabs Dione with her tail swinging her into Ardin sending them off the platform. Afterwards, she ran up to Blaze attempting to get her out.

"Don't worry about me. Save Marine."

"We started this together, Blaze. We're going to finish it together too." She is then struck in the back with lightning. "Ahhhh!" She collapses in front of Blaze unconscious.

Ardin laughs menacingly at the pain he's caused. "A shame that she won't see the finale."

Blaze struggles in the stone prison looking at Ardin angrily. "Don't hurt her!"

"Without Tetra, we couldn't do what we intended. However, we always prepared for this."

Dione comes back up as she lowers Marine to the platform setting her down on her back. "Who will have the honor of ending the multi-mover?"

Ardin hands Dione a rapier. "The honor is yours, my love. Cleanse this world of its highest power."

As Dione readied the rapier to strike down the raccoon, the entire room became engulfed in a dome of fire.

"What? Who's doing this?"

Dione looks down. "Look."

Marine's hands were engulfed in flames as she slowly stood up. She clenches her fists as she opens her eyes. "This ends now."
