Welcome back everyone. This features a taste of what is to come but "Balor of Wilusa" will not be the next story. That shall be "Dalv and the Ample Brook." Enjoy and review.

Addendum

Einar went on to name Balor is successor in his will and swore loyalty to Wilusa as long as Balor was Chieftain. People who would have been were enemies were friends instead.

As for Balor and Brigid, a few months less than a year later a son was born to them, a son named Kormac. Six years after Kormac would come another son: Kukhulainn and another six years after him a daughter named Epona.

It would come to be that Kormac would learn the story of how his father came to the rescue of his mother and all those who aided him. Kormac would hear of this on the homeward march to Wilusa after the Evabon witch Hecvia had been slain and Kernunnos had rejoined his friends and family whom had long thought him lost. It would be that time when Balor was no longer called "Chieftain Balor" but "Balor of Wilusa."

This, however, is a story for another time and while the epic called "Balor of Wilusa", for that was what WilyKit came to call it, it ended up being Gard who was the protagonist of this epic. "Odd" said many who read the epic yet Gard's brother Procyon had been cursed by Hecvia and later she abducted Kormac bringing Gard's wrath down upon her like a raging volcano!

And what of Gard's enemy Donalbain? Surely, he would come into conflict with Gard and his family again. He did but not as the master but as the minion.
