this idea came to me when i was watching xena/hurcules hope u like it! goku's birthday celebration goes awry when callisto poisons his friends in a ploy to get to the tree of life, whose apples not only cure the sick but also grant immortality.

Krillen stood there while Master Roshi looked around, "Anything?"

"No not a sign of him."

"Now what?" Master Roshi asked not knowing what else to do.

"It's hotter than Tartarus in here." Krillen said scratching his neck. "You know, I got a bad feeling about this. Let's go back."

Krillen starts rushing back.

"Wait. Wait. Wait. What's wrong?"

"You ever get a feeling that your life is just ebbing away?" Krillen said nervously as Roshi wrapped a comforting arm around him. "You're kinda getting out of step with things, and, I don't know, there's nothing you can do about it?"

Master Roshi turned his head as Krillen turned back around, "Did you hear that?"

"What?" Krillen turn to look around. "I don't hear anything, what..."

Master Roshi shushed him and listened, "There it is again."

Krillen turns around looking again, "I can't hear anything."

Master Roshi walks on, "I'll be right back."

Krillen turns back around to find Master Roshi gone. "Master Roshi? Master Roshi wait."

Just as Master Roshi turned a corner in the hall, Krillen stumbled, just missing him. He panicked looking for him. He shouted, "Master Roshi! Where are you!"
