For the past few minutes I was spying on Team Rocket. They were practically giving away information! I can't wait to tell Lyra about the guy who specifically said where he was sending Lyra while the door was open. I thought I would have to spy on Team Rocket for an hour but I only needed to do it for 5 minutes.
You may ask me why I want to tell Lyra this if she's not my friend. The truth is I have no friends. I didn't even have one in Ranger School! Everyone said I was too serious, a geek, very bossy and a jerk. I was voted most likely to be an angry boss in the school yearbook and I'm Not sure if that was a category when I came in. Nothing they said about me is true. At least I don't think anything they said about me is true. Never mind that. Right now I don't want to talk about painful memories. I want to talk about how I saved the day.
I got all my pokemon ready and told them their roles. I have to say my plan was much different than what I am used to doing. After my pokemon and I knew exactly what we were doing we entered Radio Tower. A few seconds later I was surrounded by Team Rocket grunts. Those grunts must be on high security right now because this is the quickest I ever was surrounded.
"Who do you think you are messing with our plans," said a grunt.
"We're going to have to take you away. We have a special place for people who try to mess with our plans," said a grunt. The circle started to close in.
"Ditto! Transform into me," I screamed. Ditto's transformation was perfect! Even the eyes were right!
"You plan is impressive but it has a flaw. We all know you're on the right side," said a grunt.
"She's actually on the left side," said a grunt. The grunts started to argue about which side I was on. This was the perfect chance.
"Ditto, use smoke screen," I said. Smoke screen made it really hard to see. Ditto and I spun around to make it more confusing. After a few seconds I let go of Ditto so it would run to the control room which Team Rocket recently added. I heard the door locks from the outside which is perfect for my plan. Another convenience was that there was a button next to the door that locked the entrance to the building. The twist to the plan was that I would stay so the grunts would think I was the Ditto. This was very dangerous but I knew if the grunts fell for it the grunts were practically putting themselves in jail.
"I can't believe that dumb girl thought we would fall for this," exclaimed a grunt. As tempting as tempting as it was to make a run for it I knew I had to stay still.
"We all know the girl ran to the control room and left her ditto here," said a grunt. The grunts ran to the control room without taking a second look at me. Once the grunts were a good distance away from me I followed from behind them. The grunts didn't look the slightest bit suspicious. They didn't even look behind themselves once. They are so gullible!
After a few minutes Ditto went in the control room. The grunts chased it until they caught it in a corner. After all the grunts were far enough I walked to the front of the room.
"Did you really think that Ditto was me," I asked as I grabbed on the door. The grunts turned around.
"We are going to put you on our wanted list below Lyra and get you," screamed a grunt.
"Sorry. It's too late," I said as I locked the door. I started to hear the grunts screaming and fighting. After a few seconds I heard a switch being pushed. All the lights went out.
"All systems are shutting down. The emergency lights will turn on. All entrances exits will be blocked for the next hour," said a robotic voice. A few lights turned on. I guess that took care of grunts coming in and out. All I had to do was find Lyra. The only frustrating thing about the shut-down was that I had to use the stairs. You don't want to know how many rooms I went in before I found Proton, Petrel and Silver.
"What do you want," exclaimed Petrel.
"Don't worry guys. She's just the lazy girl from Slowpoke Well. All she did was watch Lyra," said Proton.
"You can call me lazy all you want but I locked all your grunts in the control room. In the confusion they shut the power off. You might want to fire them if you escape. I'm Suzy. Don't forget it," I said.
"That's why you shouldn't hire everyone who wants to be a grunt," exclaimed Silver as he started to look at Proton.
"Don't start looking at me like that," exclaimed Proton.
"Guys! We have to find out what we will do with Suzy," exclaimed Petrel.
"l guess Lyra's battle for her freedom will not be after all. She'll have to defeat all of us but I will be first," said Silver.
"Who will escort Lyra," asked Proton.
"You and Petrel," answered Silver.
"What will we do with Suzy," asked Petrel.
"Her freedom will also depend on this battle," said Silver.
"My freedom will not depend on a kid's battle," I exclaimed.
"Lyra is the only one who can battle. You are a ranger. Pokemon caught in pokeballs are immune to the effects of the styler so you are defenseless," said Silver.
"My loupunny knows bounce so we can bounce out of a window anytime we want," I retorted.
"You do know you're on floor 20," said Silver.
"DARN IT," I screamed. Loupunny is great at jumping but she has her limits. She can't handle jumping from this high. I guess my freedom does depend on a kid's battle. This stinks. -
