We hope you are going to have a lot of fun reading it!
Chapter 12: Let's Drop The Bomb
Silvy glances over at the sleeping Juarez with a loving smile and then she turns on the radio of the plane. She locks onto the channel of Base Q and is kind of happy to hear her dad talking.
"Do you have a clear visual on the plane?" Bob's voice sounds.
"Yes. Very clear. Request permission to proceed with mission, sir." Another voice answers and then there is a small silence.
"Permission granted. Drop it." Bob says.
Silvy looks with wide eyes at the radio and then glances at the sky above the plane. Without any further hesitation she grabs Juarez's flipper and drags him very quickly and roughly out of the plane. She had seen a military helicopter above the plane and she had some sort of idea that she knew what her dad was planning... She tries to drag Juarez as far away from the plane as she can.
Juarez wakes with a start as he feels how Silvy is dragging him roughly away from the plane. "What the snow-cone?" He murmurs and opens an eye curiously. "Um...What are you doing?" He asks Silvy.
Silvy doesn't answer Juarez as she drags him behind some bushes and puts her flippers on his shoulders to keep him low and shielded. After a couple of seconds the plane gets blown in a thousand pieces and Silvy shields her head too as she bites her tongue. "He did it... He actually did it..." She mumbles.
Juarez looks slightly wide-eyed at the explosion. He then turns a little to look at Silvy. "He, who?" He asks curiously as he heard her mumble.
"He- He as in my dad..." Silvy says silently as she swallows back some tears. She watches the burning plane for a couple of minutes before getting out a lighter and yanking some of his feathers out. Silvy then sets them on fire.
"AY*!" Juarez exclaims as Silvy plucks out a few of his feathers. He looks stunned and confusedly at Silvy as he rubs the spot where his feathers used to be. "Señorita, what was that for!?" He asks. He wonders how asking a simple question like that could end with a result of getting his feathers pulled out.
Silvy doesn't answer Juarez and she slides with the burning feathers to the plane wreck. She sneaks quietly into it and drops the feathers near the cockpit, before sliding out quickly and seizing Juarez's flipper. She drags him roughly and quickly away from the plane wreck.
Juarez starts to realize what Silvy is doing. "So...I'm 'dead' now?" He asks just to clarify if what he is thinking is correct or not.
Silvy nods and pushes Juarez more behind the bushes. "Well, that depends... If you don't give us away, you are." Silvy says a bit roughly. She still couldn't believe that her dad would be able to purposely kill his daughter just to get to one little criminal. She feels the tears burning behind her eyes but pushes the feeling of crying quickly away.
Juarez looks at Silvy as she pushes him. "Me? Give us away?" He says and gives a small snort. "Not likely, señorita." He says. He then glances away from the plane and Silvy towards the city in the distance. "So, anyway, if we get a move on now, we won't be sitting duckies for the inspection team and we can probably make it to Paris before daybreak." He says.
Silvy nods and glances back at the plane for a moment. "Well, what are you waiting for then?" She asks with a small laugh and then gets on her belly and slides quickly and swiftly away from the plane wreck. Juarez smiles a little and slides after Silvy away from the wreck towards Paris. Silvy, halfway their slide to Paris grabs Juarez's flipper and holds it as they slide towards Paris. She thinks sliding flipper-in-flipper is the best way to spend a slide towards the city of romance and passion.
Juarez starts thinking about something during his and Silvy's slide to Paris. He suddenly stops and stands up. "But, wait." He says thoughtfully. "We're going to need different aliases while we're here." He says and looks at Silvy. "Otherwise the French police will be on our tails muy rapido*."
"Aliases?" Silvy repeats thoughtfully. "Like... What exactly?" She asks before turning around and looking at the sight of the big city. She sees the Eiffel Tower and jumps a little excitedly up and down while in clapping her flippers. "We're going to Paris!" She happily says and continues her happy dance for a couple of minutes, while repeating herself constantly. "Paris!"
"Like... You know... Fake names to go by in public..." Juarez says as he watches her curiously as she happily dances around. "Seeing as how I'm 'dead' and you're now a wanted fugitive, too."
Silvy stops dancing and her smile drops a little as she looks at Juarez. "Oh... Yeah, right." She says kind of silently. "Do you have any suggestions?" She then asks him with a tiny smile.
Juarez thinks for a moment and taps his beak with the tip of his flipper. "Umm... How about... Señora Bonnie and Señor Clyde Remarque?" He suggests with a small shrug and looks at Silvy again.
Silvy's beak falls a little open after hearing those two names. "What?" She asks as she looks at him with wide eyes. 'Did he just suggest we would go through the city of love as husband and wife? A married couple? A couple in love? Him?!'
Juarez looks at her. "What?" He asks back. "I just thought it'd be less suspicious for us to be under those faked married nombres*... I mean... Like for getting the hotel room and stuff..." He says slowly as he thinks on this. He blushes slightly as he thinks more on it. "But... We can always go on with pretending under different names if you want, señorita..." He says.
"No... No, these names are perfect." Silvy says with a smile before dragging Juarez further along to the big city.
Juarez nods. "Okay." He says as Silvy drags him. He is starting to think that this dragging business isn't as bad as he first thought. He follows Silvy into Paris and wonders silently about where she exactly is dragging him to in this big city.
Silvy happily drags Juarez to some kind of smallish hotel at the back of the Eiffel Tower, with a lovely view over the city. She opens the door for Juarez with a wide smile and a feeling as if she is coming home again. Juarez waddles inside the hotel with a smile. He looks around and nods some. He thinks that it all looks very bonita*. Silvy glances over at Juarez and can see that he likes the hotel. She waddles up to the counter and let Juarez do the word for them to get their room.
Juarez looks at the counter penguin. "Euhm. Room for dos, por favor." He says to the penguin.
The counter penguin nods and opens a book. "Nom*?" He asks as he gets out a pen and the book holding the reservations.
"Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Remarque." Juarez says with a glance back at Silvy.
Silvy smiles at Juarez with a small nod and waddles over to him. She softly lays her flipper around his waist and leans with her head on his shoulder. "We're just married. This is our honeymoon." She lies convincingly to the counter penguin with a really wide smile.
The counter penguin nods, not really paying attention to both. He hands Juarez a key. "Here you go sir."
Juarez feels a warm, tingly feeling when Silvy wraps her flipper around his waist and leans her head upon his shoulder. He tries to play as if this is perfectly normal for him. "Gracias, señor." Juarez says with a nod and takes the key from him. He then smiles at Silvy as he plays the newly wed husband. "Come on, mi corazón*." He says.
Silvy smiles lovingly at Juarez and continues to hold her flipper around Juarez. She gives him a kiss on his cheek, still playing the new wife. Juarez puts his flipper around Silvy's waist and starts waddling with her and the key towards the elevator. He presses the button for it. With a ting, the elevator opens its doors and Silvy waddles inside. She there lets go of Juarez and smiles at him with a small blush.
When they're in the elevator Juarez also retracts his flipper from Silvy with a small blush. "Euhm...You're a muy buena actriz*." He says as he presses another button in the elevator.
"Oh... Thanks." Silvy says silently and then looks a bit away from Juarez. "Thank you..." She says again, but she doesn't sound enthusiastic at all.
Juarez glances a bit curiously at Silvy at her sudden change in demeanor. He then looks back at the elevator door as he guesses that maybe he had said something that girls don't like to be told.
Silvy rubs her flipper with her other flipper and waits a bit silently for the elevator doors to open. When the ping sounds again, she grabs Juarez's flipper in hers and shifts really close to him with a happy and loving looking smile.
Juarez feels the warm tingly feeling again when Silvy does this. He guesses Silvy is acting the part of the new wife again. He smiles at Silvy and leads her towards the hotel room. When they get to it, Juarez opens it for Silvy.
Silvy smiles really widely and faked-lovingly at Juarez as she enters the room. When they are in the hotel room, Silvy just gives a small look at Juarez and then waddles to the bed. She takes out her mobile phone and looks at all the text messages and missed calls. "Delete... Delete... Delete..." She mumbles as she deletes almost all of them.
Juarez kind of curiously watches Silvy for a moment before waddling over to the window and looking out of it thoughtfully. A thought then suddenly hits him and he glances at Silvy again. 'Oh, holy snow-cone... I'm alone in a hotel room with a señorita that I know practically nada about.' He thinks kind of surprised.
"And... Delete." Silvy mutters and then sits up and looks at Juarez. "Say, when do you want to retry our revenge plans?" She asks him curiously.
"Hmmm?" Juarez mumbles and looks at Silvy. "Revenge?" He thinks for a moment. "Oh yeah, revenge... Ummm... No sé*, whenever, I guess." He says with a small shrug.
Silvy gives a small half-laugh. "You haven't forgotten about revenge, have you?" She asks as she waddles over to him with a sly smile. "Or did you just have other things on your mind..."
"Euhm..." Juarez gulps a little silently as he looks at Silvy. He thinks he'd like to avoid this question. "Euhm...Um...Hungry?" He says in attempts to change the topic.
"Food? Really?" Silvy says as she brings her flippers to her side with a small snort. "You give up on your revenges because you're hungry?" Silvy asks, not letting Juarez change the topic that easily.
Juarez looks at Silvy kind of nervously. "Euhm...No...I was asking if you're hungry now..." He says still trying to change the subject.
"Ooooh, we're giving up on revenges because some fille* might be hungry?" Silvy laughs. "What kind of criminal works that way?"
"Euhm..." Juarez looks at Silvy. "Well... A decent number will postpone because they're hungry... Or lazy... There are thousands of random reasons really..." He says and kind of starts inching slowly back away from Silvy. "Some criminals, a very small amount really, get a bit distracted by señoritas..."
"Oh... And are you one of those?" Silvy asks with a sly smile as she waddles closer to him and lets her flipper twirl a feather on Juarez's chest. She first looks a bit at it before looking Juarez right in his eyes. "Mhmm?"
Juarez looks at Silvy and swallows nervously with a blush. His heart is pounding and his thoughts are racing and aren't making this any easier for him. "Heh..." Juarez tries to think of something to say, but his brain and his mouth won't work. He just remains staring almost frozen into Silvy's sparkly blue-gray eyes.
Silvy waddles a bit closer to Juarez and looks him right in his eyes. "I'll take that as a yes..." She says softly and then lets go of Juarez's feather and kisses him passionately on his beak. She lays her flippers around Juarez and gets herself really, really close to him. Juarez looks really surprised at Silvy for a moment with his heart pounding really hard before fainting.
"What?" Silvy mutters as she holds an unconscious Juarez in her flippers. "Juarez?" She asks softly as she shakes him, but he doesn't reply. She then drags him softly to the bed and takes the moment that he isn't on her tail-feathers to call her dad. She waddles to the bathroom and sits down with her phone.
"General Bob, speaking." She hears her father say and Silvy gets immediately a bit angry. "Dad. Why would you try to kill me?!" She says angrily and taps her feet as she waits for an explanation. "Dear, where are you?" Says her dad, completely ignoring her. "As if you're not tracking me at this very moment..." Silvy returns with a snort. "Why do you want to kill me, daddy?" She asks again. "Euhm... Kill you?" General Bob says and Silvy snorts again. "Well, if it's that hard, save it. I don't care." She says angrily in the phone and hangs up on her dad. Then she turns it completely off and waddles out of the bathroom.
Juarez wakes up a bit dizzily on the bed. He sits up and shakes his head a little bit to shake away the dizziness. He then realizes that he must have fainted when Silvy kissed him and his eyes widen a little. 'Oh, snow-cone, you really screwed up again, Juarez...' He thinks silently to himself with a small, silent sigh.
Silvy waddles in the room and sits on the bed with a smile. "Slept well, honey?" She says softly as she pretends nothing weird has ever happened.
"Huh, wah?" Juarez mutters as he looks at Silvy. He actually is a little surprised that she is still here. He had thought that she had left, seeing as how most girls probably don't take too kindly to the guy she's kissing fainting like he had. "Euhm...I guess..." He says kind of silently.
"But don't think you're freed of me that easy, Clyde." She says with a laugh as she tips his beak with her flipper.
Juarez looks at Silvy with a small, almost sheepish grin. "Right, of course not, Bonnie." He says as he sits up more on the bed.
Silvy smiles at Juarez and then looks around for a bit. "So... What about dinner, Clyde?" She asks with a happy sounding laugh.
"Mmm..." Juarez thinks for a moment."How about out to un restaurante*?" He suggests with a small shrug.
"I know just the place!" Silvy exclaims after hearing Juarez and she grabs his flipper and drags him enthusiastically out of their room.
Juarez lets Silvy drag him out. "Um, okay." He says.
Silvy nods happily as she drags him quickly through Paris. Juarez observes around them as Silvy drags him. He thinks Silvy must have been in Paris before to know it so well.
"Look, it is just by the Seine!" Silvy says happily as she shows a little restaurant. She waddles happily to a table for two and sits down.
Juarez looks and nods. He follows Silvy to the table for two and sits down also. "Say, señorita, you sure do seem to know Paris well... Have you been here before?" He asks curiously.
"Yes, I've been here before." Silvy answers a bit vaguely with a nod.
"Alright..." Juarez says, still looking a bit curiously at her. A waiter comes with the menus and Juarez gets one from him with a nod. "Gracias."
Silvy takes the menu with a foul look at the waiter and she mumbles something indistinctly under her breath. She then opens the menu and lets her flipper run over all the possible choices. "Oh, come on, Silvia, you can do this!" She says silently to herself.
Juarez looks over his menu and makes his decision on what he is going to order. He then lays the menu down and looks at Silvy.
"Come on, come on, come on, choose something, no matter what, just something something..." Silvy tells herself while looking wide eyed at the menu in her flippers. "Go for it, just take the first thing you see and like..." She says out loud, but she can't seem to focus on it as her eyes wander off constantly from the thing she sees the first.
"Señorita?" Juarez says as he looks at her. "Would you like for me to choose something for you?" He asks, it looks to him like Silvy needs help with her menu.
Silvy looks over the menu and nods a little. "Yes, please." She says a little silently with a small blush.
Juarez nods and looks at his menu again. "Okay... What's your thoughts on fish crêpes?" He asks and looks over his menu at Silvy.
Silvy looks at Juarez and nods. "That sounds nice." She says with a smile.
"Okay." Juarez says with a nod and a smile. He then waves at the waiter to come and take their order.
Suddenly, when the waiter comes over to the table, Silvy frowns and growls a bit. She scoots a little away from him in her chair before picking up the napkin and tearing it angrily apart. She growls a bit silently as she does so. Juarez looks a bit weirdly at Silvy first before looking at the waiter. "We both would like to order the fish crêpes, por favor." He tells the waiter.
Silvy angrily continues to rip and tear on her napkin. She growls less silently now and her flippers move more violently.
The waiter glances at Silvy as he writes down the order, then he leaves the table quickly. Juarez watches him go and then looks at Silvy curiously. "Everything alright, señorita?" He asks. Silvy glances angrily at the leaving waiter and then, while continuing to rip on the napkin and growling, she nods. "Perfectly. Alright." She growls under her breath.
Juarez just looks at her even more curiously. "Um... So... Murdering one's napkin is just something you Americans like to do?" He asks curiously and a bit amusedly.
"No-what?!" Silvy says as she lets go of the napkin and looks at Juarez with a confused expression. A man waddles past and looks curiously at their table. Silvy jumps up, with an almost dangerous angry expression. "What are you looking at?!" She yells angrily. "Mind your own business!" She screams almost in his face with anger sparkling off her face. "All the purple daffodils..." She mumbles with a snort when the man waddles quickly past and just shrugs her tirade from himself.
Juarez looks at Silvy with his head tilted some. "Say, señorita, shouldn't you...I don't know...Calm down some before you blow our cover?" He asks in a whisper to her.
Silvy looks a bit confused at Juarez before calming down a little. She clears her throat a little. "Of course, of course, Clyde." She says a bit silently with a nod and she shifts some in her chair.
"Bueno." Juarez says with a small nod and sits back in his seat again. He takes out his cell phone for a minute to check what messages he might have from not having been with it charged up recently. There is only one text message on it that is really important. He clicks it to open and reads it silently. 'J. Need you back here ASAP for new details on our newest plan. - H.' The text reads.
Silvy looks curiously at the boy in front of her. She tilts her head a little as she watches Juarez reading his text. 'Let me guess... His criminal friends need him back already...' She thinks silently as she swallows back a tiny bit.
Juarez finishes reading the text and rolls his eyes a little and doesn't even bother replying to the text. He puts his phone away with an apologetic smile. "Sorry, señorita, I had to read a moron's text." He says with a small, forced laugh. He had never thought of calling the head of the Stanton Gang a moron before...But he can't say he didn't like thinking it before. The simple fact that Henry texted him to come asap just meant 'come whenever you want' to Juarez and that is exactly how he is going to treat it also.
Silvy nods a bit and then takes a sip from her drink. She tries a small fake smile back. Just when she was starting to thinks she had found someone who could possibly be the right one, someone she might really, really like, and he was too occupied with his criminal activities and friends. It was just her luck.
Juarez takes a sip of his own drink. "I really should get a new phone with a different number while we're here..." He mumbles thoughtfully to himself. "Seeing as how Juarez is 'dead' and so should his phone..." He then looks at Silvy with a small smile before tossing his phone towards the trashcan. The waiter walks up with their food at this moment and looks really weirdly at Juarez as he sets the plates down on the table.
Silvy looks at the phone and trashcan for a moment and then growls angrily at the waiter. She glances at him really angrily and grabs Juarez's napkin to tear apart. The waiter gives Silvy a look also before he goes. Juarez watches the waiter go and looks curiously at Silvy. "Do you and him know each other?" He asks curiously.
Silvy growls more as she looks after the waiter. "Maybe." She says angrily.
Juarez raises a nonexistent eyebrow. "And I take it if you do know each other, that you two have problemas?" He asks with a slightly tilted head.
Silvy glances angrily at Juarez. "Not. Now." She growls before clearing her throat and looking innocently around. "So what do your criminal friends want from you? Money, assistance, diamonds, dead bodies?" She asks silently and curiously.
"Huh?" Juarez looks confusedly at Silvy for a moment. "Criminal friends?" He repeats and thinks for a moment. "Oh..." He then shakes his head. "I wouldn't exactly call an evil gang leader an amigo, señorita... More like a guy whom tells you what he wants you to do and if you don't do it threatens to kill you." Juarez says with a small, forced laugh and a shrug. "He just wants me to come for him to explain something to me... But, I'm dead." He says with a sly grin. "So... I don't think I can come unless I'm to be a ghost or a zombie." He says with another laugh.
Silvy laughs a bit and nods. "Alright." She says. "I'm glad you're not a zombie or ghost though." She says with a laugh before kissing him softly and quickly on his cheek.
Juarez blushes a bit with a smile and a nod. "Me too." He says. He then looks at his food kind of curiously. "Now how the snow-cone is someone supposed to eat one of these thingies?" He mutters, looking at the fish crêpes with a slightly tilted head and a slightly funny look.
"Easy, like this." Silvy says as she shows Juarez how to eat the crêpes and she has almost perfect table manners when she does so. She smiles at Juarez as she eats.
Juarez watches how Silvy eats hers and copies what she does to the best of his ability. He tastes the crêpes thoughtfully. "Could use a little salsa..." He mumbles to himself before looking at Silvy. "Did I say that out loud?" He asks.
"The thing about salsa?" Silvy asks with a laugh. "Yes, you did." She says. "I agree with you, though, this really could use way more salsa." She laughs as she continues to eat. "But it isn't really something that normally goes with this dish."
Juarez nods with a small laugh. "I guess it wouldn't be, yes." He says and eats on his food. He still thinks it could really seriously use salsa.
Silvy nods and smiles lovingly at Juarez. She thinks his clumsiness with the dish is really cute and she stops eating for a moment to give him another kiss on his cheek.
Juarez smiles at Silvy and takes a sip of his drink. 'So, this chica likes salsa, too?' He thinks. 'And the fact that she is willing to runaway from her padre to be with me... She actually likes me?' He thinks with hidden surprise. 'A good-looking señorita really, actually likes me? Not bribed? Not ill? Actually likes me?'
Silvy smiles widely at Juarez as she finishes her crêpes. She takes out her mobile phone for a moment to turn it on. She sees her dad has tried tracking her down a couple of times and called her again. She silently deletes the voice-mails without listening to them and then turns off her phone with a snort again.
Juarez looks curiously at Silvy as he finishes his crêpes. "Your padre?" He asks curiously.
"Yeah..." Silvy says silently with a nod. "Most of them are from him, yes." She says as she swallows a bit as she looks into Juarez's green eyes.
Juarez nods and looks back into Silvy's blue-gray eyes. "Alright." He says and takes a sip of his drink and finishes it. "You want to know something strange?" He asks after thinking for a moment.
Silvy nods. "Sure." She says as she also takes a sip from her drink.
"My padre used to work with your padre..." He says and looks at her. "Though I can't ever remember mi Papá saying anything about General 'Bobby' having a hija*..." Juarez says with a really small laugh.
"No, me neither... Though my dad didn't ever tell me much about any of his friends." Silvy says. "It made me wonder if he even really had friends." She laughs.
Juarez laughs a little. "Yeah, my padre used to go on and on and on and on about your padre." He says. "If your padre had a fan-club, I think my padre would be the head of it." He laughs.
Silvy laughs a bit. "Not that he really deserves a fan-club." She says. "Or at least I don't think he does." She mumbles behind it.
Juarez shrugs a bit with a laugh. "I wasn't staying he should or shouldn't have one, señorita." He says.
"True." Silvy says with a laugh and then moves her flipper a bit closer to Juarez's one.
"Sí." Juarez nods, rather oblivious to the fact that Silvy moved her flipper closer. "So, would you care for dessert or something?" He asks with a smile.
"Sure..." Silvy says as she actually pays more attention to her flipper which now reaches the point of Juarez's.
Juarez nods and still pays no attention to their flippers as he looks around and wonders when the waiter is going to come back by so he can ask for the dessert menus.
Silvy bites her tongue a bit and then lays her flipper on his and looks into his green eyes.
Juarez feels Silvy's flipper on his and looks at the flippers and then into Silvy's blue-gray eyes.
Silvy slowly bends over the table without taking her eyes off of Juarez's and then kisses him passionately on his beak. Juarez kisses Silvy passionately back. She breaks the kiss after a little while and looks happily and lovingly into Juarez's eyes. 'He didn't faint!' She thinks happily.
Juarez looks lovingly and happily back into Silvy's eyes. 'Wow...' He thinks.
Silvy smiles widely at Juarez. She then looks a bit down, before looking back at him with a loving, but not yet as wide smile. Juarez still smiles at Silvy. He can't believe that he, whom has always had trouble with girls, actually has found a girl that likes him. A girl that hadn't ran off when she had kissed him and he had fainted. He can't think of a time that he has been happier. Silvy smiles at Juarez and can easily see in his eyes that he probably hasn't been this happy in a while. She swallows back a bit and tries to still put up her loveliest smile.
Juarez still happily smiles at Silvy a little longer before clearing his throat and blushing a bit and looking away. "Euhm... So... Euhm..." He says he attempts to start up a conversation, but can't really come up with anything. He blushes more and feels a bit foolish.
Silvy looks for a moment at Juarez before looking at the table for a moment and swallowing again. "So... How would a normal day seem to you when you aren't imprisoned?" She asks a little curiously.
Juarez thinks for a moment and taps his beak. "Ummm... Let's see... Besides having to do the occasional thing for Henry and the rest of the gang, or similar things for mi madre... Like nothing much..." He says with a small sigh. "I typically spend a lot of time hiding from police and sometimes plan some revenges... Knife collecting, I always find time for that... And always sneak back to Peru to check on my plane and house... I typically have a lot of cleaning to do there after penguins like your dad have searches in it..." He says and thinks more. "I used to play guitar in my cousin's band... But... Since we haven't been as close, I haven't been doing that anymore..." He thinks some more and looks at Silvy. "And that's about it... Not all that interesante, I know..."
"No, it is interesting enough." Silvy says with a sweet smile as she glances quickly down at her phone. "What kind of things would this Henry let you do?" She asks with her sweetest smile possible and she sets up some puppy-eyes.
"Ehm..." Juarez's smiles fades some. "'Let' is not the right word... More like 'make me do'..." He says quieter. "Normally, it's something like him needing me to go help... Erm... Mur-... Ehm... Do away with some penguins..." He says carefully. "And occasionally play back-up for someone else... Training younger members on how to use a knife properly... Help sometimes with 'treatments'... Though that's rare..." He says, his voice getting quieter and more ashamed with each phrase.
Silvy nods a bit. She knows perfectly well what he is talking about and to be honest, she isn't the least bit shocked about it. She fakes a slightly shocked expression though. "Oh-okay." She says, trying her best to sound a little bit afraid like every other penguin would be, but not too much to scare Juarez away.
Juarez nods a little and looks at the table silently. "I really hate it though... I really do..." He says silently.
"Wha-?" Silvy kind of exclaims. She had expected that he would say something way different, but then recovers quickly and smiles a little at Juarez. "I bet you do..." She says softly and she rubs his flipper with hers.
"Hmf... No, you don't get it... No one does..." Juarez says silently, shaking his head and he thinks for a moment. "Actually, scratch that, one penguin I knew did and he died... Same way as I probably will one of these days..." He looks silently at the table. This conversation has shifted really uncomfortably for him.
