CHAPTER 12: Fancy Meeting You Here!

Petey stood in the bathroom drying himself off as he just got out of the shower. He was going to be spending the night working at Scott's bar as the bartender called in sick. He finished drying himself off before walking into the bedroom to get dressed. The pitter patter of little feet could be heard walking down the hall as Jack walked into the bedroom and climbed up on the bed.

"Do you have your bag packed for the night?"

"Yep all ready."

Petey nodded his head and pulled his shirt on. He finished getting ready as Jack hopped off the bed and grabbed his backpack. They walked out of the house and across the yard to next door. Jack ran up to the door and rang the doorbell as the door opened up moments later. Ajay was greeted with big smile from Jack as Petey walked up behind him.

"Joey is in the living room watching a movie with Chris."

"Be good Jack and I'll see you in the morning."

"Kay."

Jack waved to Daddy before disappearing into the house. Petey stepped up onto the porch and watched his son run into the house.

"Thanks for the last minute save Tink."

"Anytime Pan just don't get into to much trouble tonight."

"I won't."

He couldn't help but to laugh at his best friends comment as the exchanged goodbyes and he walked back to his house and got into his car and made his way to Scott's bar.

Clair walked down the hall and stood in the doorway of her best friends room. Molly looked up from the book she was reading to see the look on Clair's face as she knew that look. She placed the bookmark in her book to mark her spot before closing the book and setting it down in front of her.

"What do you say we go out and have a little fun in town before you have to go back to work?"

"I suppose a little fun won't hurt and I could use some."

Molly nodded her head before placing the book on the nightstand and getting off the bed. She walked over to her closet and opened the door and looked at her clothes try to decide what to wear. Clair had gone back to her room to go get ready as well. A few moments later Clair walked back into the room to do her hair and makeup with Molly.

"Who knows we may even run into that guy you really like. What's his name again?"

"Pierre. And I doubt it. Why would a married man be at the bar when he's got a family at home to take care of?"

"Who's to say he's married? And he could be hanging out with the guys."

"The fact that he's got a 5 year old son."

"Oh that don't mean nothing.

Molly just shook her head as there was no arguing with her best friend. She wasn't going to mess around with a married man and mess up his family. She leaned forward putting the last of her make up on before putting her things away.

Petey was at the bar getting things ready for the night as he put the last of the glasses away. He made sure everything was filled as the first customers started making there way in. They wasted no time ordering drinks and soon he was busy.

The girls made it to the bar as they walked in and looked around. They seemed slightly out of place but it didn't seem to bother Clair any. A few guys looked at them as if they thought they could get them. Clair looked around to find the bar before nudging Molly. The two walked over and sat at the bar. They were still getting odd stares making Molly a bit uncomfortable. Molly looked around to see if she could find the bartender so they could order drinks. Petey was making his way back to the bar after taking a round of beers over to a table. He stuck the tray under the counter before pausing seeing who was on the other side of the counter.

"Pierre?"

"Molly...what are you two doing here?"

"Clair wanted to go have a fun night out before I went back to work. Don't tell me you work here too?"

"No not all the time. One of the other bartenders called in sick at the last minute so Scott asked if I could fill in."

"Seems like no matter where we go you two always run into each other."

Molly gave Clair the sideways look as if to tell her to shut up. Petey couldn't help but to give a small smile as he leaned against the bar.

"Can I get you ladies anything?"

"I'll take a Long Island..."

"Petey...err...Pierre is fine."

"Ahh yes Pierre."

"Mojito please."

He nodded as he made quick work making the girls their drinks. He made it seemed like he did this every night for a living. Which he did when he was younger working at Applebee's. He poured the drinks and slid them in front of the girls.

"Merci beaucoup Monsieur."

"Je vous en prie ma chérie."

Molly couldn't help but to blush as she was a bit speechless. Clair on the other hand grinned as she kept her focus on him. He stood there with a bit of a sly smirk on his face. He wasn't all that good with his French but working around the world as much as he did he managed to pick things up here and there.

"Excuse me ladies."

He walked over to the cooler and pulled several beers out. He popped the caps off and sat them on the tray as he walked over to a table and traded the group their empties for another round. He raised the tray above his head and made his way back behind the bar and put the empties away. He checked on the rest of the customers before walking back over to the girls.

"You're quite the waiter there Pierre."

"Blame Applebee's for it. I worked as a waiter when I was younger."

Molly couldn't help but to look him over with the tight shirt he was wearing. It showed off every muscle from his arms to his chest and abs. She already knew what he looked like without his shirt on as she couldn't help but to smirk a little to herself. She paused for a moment feeling a set of eyes on her as she slowly looked up to meet the gaze of Pierre. She blushed slightly taking a sip of her drink.

"It will be good to have you back again. I kinda missed seeing you around the halls."

"Oh? I didn't think anyone would really miss me. Not like I've been around long enough to be missed."

"Not everyone pays as close attention to things as I do."

He looked up and excused himself once more as he walked down to the end of the bar to take care of a customer. Clair watched him before nudging her best friend.

"I think he's hitting on you."

"No...he wouldn't. He's got a family."

"Oh will you knock it off with this. He really likes you."

"Stop Clair it's not going to happen."

Clair rolled her eyes and shook her head as she took another sip of her drink. Molly watched Petey make his way around the bar as he made it look like it was nothing. She couldn't help but to think about what Clair said. Petey finished with his customers as he walked back over and looked at Molly. She seemed to be off in her own little world and not even realized it. Petey leaned over and looked at her causing her to snap out of her dream world she was in.

"Sorry….I was just thinking about things."

"Oh and what might they be?"

"Just things is all."

Molly played with her glass trying not to get caught with thinking about the man that stood in front of her. She took a sip of her drink before placing it back down in front of her.

"So Pierre Molly says you are quite the wrestler."

"Oh really?"

Petey leaned against the bar counter looking between the two ladies as he was rather interested with what Clair had to say. He grinned to himself wondering what else Molly has told Clair.

"And what all has she told you?"

"What a sweet, charming and handsome guy you are."

Molly blushed a bright red from embarrassment. She could feel the heat in her cheeks as she tried to hide her face. She wanted so bad to just knock her best friend right off that bar stool. Clair was doing a damn good job at embarassing her best friend. Petey grinned even more as he pushed himself up from leaning on the bar.

"Well tell her what a lovely, beautiful, young lady she is."

He looked at Molly as she was still hiding her face as he smirked before excusing himself once more to take care of customers. Clair smirked to herself and finished her drink as Molly composed herself as best she could. She slid off of the bar stool as she pulled some money out and left it on the bar counter.

"I swear I could have knocked you off that bar stool for what you did."

"What? I know damn well you like him."

"Doesn't mean you need to flaunt it."

"He likes you too I can tell."

Molly shook her head as she quickly made her way out of the bar still a bit embarrassed with what happened. She just hopped that Petey didn't think she was a total dork. She wasn't sure if she would be able to show her face to him when she would get back to work.
