A few days had passed since her encounter with Mephiles. Jordi thought and thought about how kind he was to her. According to Phillip, or Shadow, Mephiles was a manipulating villain but she saw someone who took care of her. She was walking in the park, listening to her music and not paying any real attention to anything, when she ran into someone.

"Watch it!" The person said.

"Oh! I'm sorry," Jordi said. She looked up and saw a silver hedgehog with five pointy quills on the front of his head.

"Hey, you're Jordi, right?" He asked, she nodded. "I'm Tyler, Phillip's friend. I'm a volunteer at the hospital."

"Nice to meet you," Jordi said shaking his hand. Tyler was curious about her and wanted to know about her and Phillip.

"So did he tell you?"

"What do you mean?"

"That he was Shadow? And that you were siblings? And that you sold yourself to Mephiles so he wouldn't kill Shadow? And how you had to sleep with that creep for eighteen years? And that-"

He stopped when he saw Jordi's face in terror, his ranting about her being a prisoner caught Jordi by surprise and threw her for a loop.

"Oh," he said when he realized she didn't know about the last part. "He didn't tell you, did he?"

"Wha... What do you mean I had to sleep with him?" Jordi said shaken up.

"Maybe we should go someplace private."

"No! I need to know! What did you mean I had to sleep with him?!"

"He," Tyler didn't want to say it but he was forced in a corner and had to spill. "He raped you."

Jordi covered her mouth in shock.

"You knew what you were doing, you signed a contract saying if you went with Mephiles, he'd let Shadow live. Shadow was only a baby at the time."

"He... He lied to me!" Jordi exclaimed.

"But he didn't tell you anything."

"Not Phillip, Mephiles! He said we were lovers and I was everything to him. This went on for eighteen years?! Tyler, please, you have to tell me more."

"Well, alright. I'll take us to a place."

The two hedgehogs went off to a private place so he could tell her the true story.

"She hates me," Shadow said. He, Hope, Rose and his team were in the warehouse.

"She doesn't hate you," Rose said trying to comfort him.

"She does. This girl's world was already upside-down and I just come in and shake it up some more!"

"Shadow, you just need to give her some time to understand," Hope said.

"Jordi's been through enough, and I don't want to cause her anymore pain."

"I think Mephiles took the pie on that one," a voice said. The three turned to see Jordi and Silver standing there.

"Jordi. I... I didn't know you were there."

"Shadow," she walked to him until they were face to face.

Shadow braced himself for a slap, a punch, anything violent from her. But she didn't any of that, she wrapped her arms around him and embraced him in a hug.

"I'm sorry Shadow," she said to him. "I'm sorry for not believing you."

Shadow gasped, he didn't know what to think. She shouldn't be sorry for something that wasn't her fault. Shadow wrapped his arms around her too.

"I'm sorry too," he replied. The others were happy to see that the two were getting along. The hedgehogs let go and smiled at each other.

"I'm really glad you're my brother, Shadow," she said to him.

"And I'm glad you're my sister, Starr," he said back.

"And I'm glad you two are getting along," Hope added; everyone giggled. "Now Jordi, do you want to be Starr again?"

"Yes, Hope," she said. "Yes I do. I want to remember everything."

Hope fluttered around and two inhibitor rings appeared, she picked them up and gave them to Jordi. Jordi held onto them and was ready to put them on her wrists when a gust of purple wind appeared out of nowhere. It blinded everyone for a moment but when it cleared, the group saw the horrible sight. Jordi was being restrained by Mephiles and Scourge was holding onto her rings.

"Sorry guys but she's coming with us," Scourge laughed at the heroes.

"Let her go!" Shadow shouted.

"She's mine," Mephiles told him.

"I'm no one's," Jordi growled.

"Now my dear," he said petting her. "If you truly have your memory back, you know that you do."

"That's a lie!" Silver shouted. "That contract became void the minute Maria died. She was the witness and that contract said if one of the three signers died, the contract would be void."

Mephiles stared at Silver angry, Jordi took this opportunity to kick him in the foot and get away, running back to Shadow and the others.

"We still have you little rings here," Scourge gloated.

"Why don't you fight like a man, Scourge?" Rose shouted to him.

"Maybe I will."

He then plunged himself at the team, and the others gave it their all. Although he was greatly outnumbered, he was still a strong fighter; Jordi stayed on the sidelines watching Mephiles getting closer to her.

"My dear," he said once he got close enough, Jordi kept backing up.

"Tell me the truth," she shouted at him. "Why me?"

"Honestly," he started to say.

Then he raised his hand and slapped Jordi across her face. She gasped and held her sore left cheek. Then she felt her stomach getting kicked in, she fell to her back and Mephiles pinned her to the ground. He covered her mouth so she couldn't scream, she tried to get away but he was too powerful.

"Remember this," the demon said, he leaned into her ear and whispered, "one would rise against me, opposite but similar to my power. This one's flesh and blood will avenge them and win."

Jordi stared at him confused.

"What are you talking about?" She asked him.

"I know you're the one who would rise against me, and your dear brother is the one to avenge you. Why do you think I've been trying to kill Shadow? I'm trying to prevent that prophecy," he growled, then he looked down at Jordi's body and changed his tone. "But it never said I'd get a good deal out of this."

Jordi snatched up and tried to bite him but he moved away.

"Get off me!" She shouted.

"Who's going to save you?" He asked sinisterly; Jordi looked to her side and saw that Scourge had defeated the others. "It's just you and me now."

"No," she whispered. "NNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Suddenly her rings started glowing from within Scourge's pocket. The bright light blinded the two evil ones, Jordi managed to wiggle her way out from under Mephiles. The light energy gave the other strength again and they all got up from the ground.

Then Scourge got punched in the face by Knuckles' hard fist. This caused the green hedgehog to fall to the ground. Shadow took this opportunity to grab the rings from his pocket.

"Jordi, catch!" Shadow shouted to Jordi. He threw the rings and she caught them and slipped them on her wrists.

"Starr," she started to say the magic words.

"No," Mephiles whispered with a shiver of fear.

"Make..."

"No!"

"Up!"

A water ball suddenly surrounded Jordi; when it disappeared, she changed from Jordi to Starr. Starr looked at her new body, her blue and white dress and her new rocket heels and gloves. She had in her hand a staff with a ball of water on top, which had the ability to change into anything she wanted it to be.

"I'm back," she exclaimed; she turned to face Mephiles, she glared at him. "You're going down."

She readied her and her staff, she raised it in the air and slammed the butt on the ground. A giant shockwave was sent out which knocked the two off several feet. Starr ran over to the others.

"We gotta get out of here," she told them. "That shockwave isn't gonna last long."

Then they heard shouting coming their way, Scourge was at full charge to them. Starr pointed her staff to Scourge and he came right at it. The water turned into a dagger which plunged right into Scourge. Scourge gasped in pain, the others stared as blood came out of him. Starr pushed him away, the blade was covered with blood but it quickly turned back into a ball of water. Scourge fell to the ground and eventually died.

"Now Shadow!" Starr shouted to him.

"Chaos Control!" He summoned and they were all transported out of there.

Mephiles was left there watching, he stood over Scourge's corpse. He breathed heavily, his anger burned more.

"You may have gotten your memory back Starr the Hedgehog," he said out loud, "but I will get you alone and I will have you again!"

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Bit graphic at the end there, but I think it was time to kill Scourge off. Now it's a battle between hedgehogs!
