As the screen showed a new area, writing appeared on the screen.
South Side Of Wall Rose, Trost District.
All the cadets that lived in trost payed more attention to the screen.
Wealthy Business Man were talking in a small excluded room. They looked worried but more about their own safety than anything else.
"What do you think of what we are meant to make these reports saying Shingonshina has fallen to the Titans?" One of the men demanded as the screen zoomed in on them and their conversation.
"Are they verified?" Another rich looking man said, leaning forward "The outcropping has held for a century it makes no sense!"
"Nothing makes any sense anymore" Eren grumbled to himself.
A man with a grey beard standing up, turned to him and replied "Whether are not they are verified, the refugees are certainly flooding in like plague rats, they're at least 500 accounted for in the boats"
A mutter of angry voices broke out in everybody, how dare that man talk about those poor people like that!
Sasha cringed, remembering what she had thought once refugees had started coming into her homeland, she felt so guilty now!
Connie noticed how uncomfortable she looked "You okay?" He muttered.
"I'm fine" Sasha sighed, not wanting to go into detail about what she'd been thinking about. All I'd was worried about was the food they were taking up but I shouldn't have, these people have lost their homes!
"The question is, how prepared are we if Shinganshina is in ruins?" A younger man said worriedly.
"Come now" Another man said "Surely Wall Maria is enough to hold the Titans at bay, don't you think?"
Levi said bluntly "If they think that then they're idiots" His eyes glanced side ways at Hannes.
Hannes read between the lines and looked down, ashamed.
The men were all silent.
The cadets could practically feel the fear the men in that room on the screen were feeling.
"Dam it all!" A man at the front of the table snapped "Anyway its sliced, the situation is terrible, are hands are tied. I say we make appeals for the central government for help"
Petra raised her eyebrows, did they seriously think the govermemt would care enough about them to help? All it cared about was keeping itself fat and happy, no matter the cost, she could tell from all the adults expressions, they were all thinking the same thing.
One of the bigger men nodded then turned around as someone barged into the room, slamming open the room.
It was a garrison solder and he shouted "Wall Maria has been broken through! The-the Titans! They're in!"
One of the men gave a horrified gasp.
The scene changed, a Titans foot hit the ground, leaving a huge dent.
Eren shivered.
Titans came through the hole, hundreds of them, Hannes watched on from a rooftop.
You're fine, you're fine, relax, you'll be going to the Military Police, never to see those blasted things Jean repeated to himself over and over again in his head to shake of his fear.
The screen scanned up Hannes to his terrified face and wide eyes.
"This is the end" Hannes said.
Someone whimpered from the cadets, they couldn't hold back their fear.
How can the survey corps go out and face those things? Connie wondered, looking at Petra, Hange and Levi, they must be mental.
