Chapter 12

"Nh!?" Yahiko startled when a ball of crumpled paper hit his head. That time he realized he was lost in thoughts. The chemistry teacher was telling a death boring story about chemicals so nearly the whole class were sleeping. Yahiko slowly stretched the paper..

"He is staring at you without a blink.."

Yahiko crumbled the paper again and pushed it into his pocket. As if I need an information for realizing that.. He sighed and put his head on table again. He could feel the gaze of Itachi on his back from the morning.. Stop it already.. He thought as he shut his eyes..

Flashback-

"I don't know who is he." Naruto said in alert. "Slow that damn car down!"
"You're in that house for a long time! You should know!"
"I- wait! How can you know that?!"
"Answer my question!" Yahiko stepped on pedal harder, car started shaking.
"Yahiko! Oi! Yahiko! Slow down! Okay! Okay! I will say! I will say! But please slow down first! You will get us killed!"

"According to Sasuke.." Naruto started, panting slightly. ".. Also he calls him nii-san, he was abroad for 6 years, now he just came back and started living at their house. I don't know what is his bond to Uchihas but.. Looks like he is caring about Itachi too much. He always asks about him, always wanders around him.."

"I see.." Yahiko narrowed his eyes as he stopped the engine. "Get out."
"What?!"
"I said get out." Yahiko said without looking at him.
"Bastard!" Naruto snapped, pulled his cousin by his collar. "Now listen to me!"
Yahiko's eyes widened as he realized the anger in Naruto's eyes.
"I don't know what are you trying to do. But leave my lover's family alone." He gritted. "Itachi-san is not your type! He is not like the girls or boys that you used to know. He is very sensitive, he even tries to prevent Sasuke to see me because he worries about his future. Don't hurt him, so don't meet with him because you'll definately do it if you continue this bullshit! Leave him alone! Don't hurt him! Don't touch my family!"

Your family, huh? Bullshit.. Yahiko uncomfortably moved on desk.. You cocky bastard..

In the long-break Yahiko and his friends were sitting around a table in cafeteria. Yahiko startled when he felt an elbow poked his stomach. "Oi, oi.." Hidan smirked. "That fucker stares at you."
"I already know that." Yahiko said with a cold tone. "Why did you do such a thing?"
"Is it just me or you two just changed the roles hmm?" Deidara raised an eyebrow.
"Uh.. S-senpais.." Tobi chimed in. "Sasuke-kun's brother comes here! Hide me! Hide me! If he finds out what I did to his little brother-*gasp*" the masked guy shuddered when he realized Yahiko's ice cold glare.

Itachi reached to the table that males sitting around. There was a tense, deep silence that amazingly disturbed Kisame and Kakuzu. "Can we speak for a while?" Itachi asked coldly.
"No." Yahiko's answer was sharp and cold. He even didn't lift his gaze. Hidan smirked darkly as he realized Yahiko was seem to have no interest towards the bastard that caused him so much trouble. "But-!?" Itachi started angrily but he went silent as the albino friend of Yahiko stood up suddenly. "Are you fucking deaf!? He said he didn't want to talk to you! Get lost, fag-got!"

Itachi's eyes widened because of the unexpected reaction of Hidan, he blushed freakly and felt his eyes filled with salty tears. H-he just called me faggot in the middle of cafeteria!...

"Did you like that, fa- arrrrggghh!" Hidan screamed as Kakuzu caught his arm and twisted it behind his back.
"Say sorry." Kakuzu forced the silver haired's arm, caused him to scream in agony when he couldn't get any respond from Hidan. "I said say sorry."

"Are you fucking nuts, Kakuzu?!" Hidan whimpered. "There is no way that I say sorry to that motherfu-aahhhhh!" His gaze wandered on his friends and stopped on Yahiko who was looking at him like he would chop Hidan into pieces right then. Kisame's hand was on his shoulder, pressing him down on the chair and he was looking at Hidan with 'do it unless you have a death wish!' gaze.

Hidan gulped because of the heavy aura of Yahiko then dropped his gaze. "I'm sorry.." He murmured. "Sorry for what?" Kakuzu squeezed the wrist of silver haired.
"Fuck you Kakuzu!" Hidan cried out. "I am sorry for calling you faggot and other stuff!"

Itachi was still in shock, his face was still red his widely opened eyes were still staring at Hidan who was on the verge of crying out of anger and embarrassment.

"Let's hear what you want to say.." Yahiko stood up nonchalantly then walked towards a far corner like nothing happened. Itachi pulled himself together than followed him to there.

"Yeah.." Yahiko looked around like he was searching for girls. "I am listening.."

Itachi frowned.. He was confused like hell.
What the fuck?
He was shaking me by my shoulders and saying that he loves me at our first meeting.. Then we did it and during that he was saying 'love you' constantly.. But now.. He doesn't even look at me.. What the hell happened!? "Did I do something wrong?"
"Nope." Yahiko replied as he smiled sexily.. towards a girl that was just passing by...
"At least look at me while we are talking.." Itachi's blood started boiling with anger. "What do you think you're.."
"I am.. The sexiest, the most cool, the most wanted guy of this school.." Yahiko said mercilessly, turned his head towards Itachi and deprecated. "What are you?"

Words pierced Itachi's chest like sharp knives. "I-I see..." Murmured he then lowered his gaze.. He had already mentally preapared himself for this.. It was obvious, isn't that.. I knew that it would end like this.. But still.. Why I am feeling terrible?.. "Everything.. Was.. A lie.. Wasn't it?.."

"...yep.. Everything..." The answer came late but it was clear..
"The nonsence that you said about loving me was a lie as well.." Itachi murmured under his breath.. Unfortunately, Yahiko had heard that.. Shutting his eyes with an unbearable pain, he bit his lips to not scream 'sorry'..
"Hah.. I had fun.. It had to end someday, anyway.. Thanks.." Itachi said without lifting his head.. His voice was happy..
"Do not come near me again." Ginger added with a rude tone when Itachi attempted to go away.. "You're not good enough to hang out with me."

*SLAP*

A loud slap was echoed all around the cafeteria as people saw Yahiko's bright orange strands moved in the air.. Itachi's hand was still on air.. He was panting slightly..
"Hai.." He said as a tear rolled down his flushed cheek.. Muscles had moved almost by themselves, Itachi couldn't help but landed a heavy slap on Yahiko's cheek. Yahiko didn't turn his head even after Itachi left with angry steps.. The shape of Itachi's hand was glowing red...

"W-what we gotta do!?" Kisame asked in alert, lowered his voice to a whisper.
"Stay calm.." Kakuzu said. "If you go near him, it will worsen."
"Damn, but he is just standing in the middle of cafeteria.."
"Oh, gawd.. I can't believe my eyes hmmm.. What a courage that slapping Yahiko in the middle of cafeteria.."
While the group of males were hesitating about going near Yahiko, ginger pulled himself together and headed towards the table. His bangs were hiding his eyes and the half of the dark red, hand shaped rush.
"Eck!" Tobi scared like hell and ran away.. Kisame gulped worrily..

"So... Can we think that you two slept together?" It came out that Kakuzu was the only one who has enough courage to ask such thing.
"Yeah." Yahiko answered without a hesitance.
"Was that bad, hmmm? Is that the reason why you ignore him?" Deidara continued.
"No.. They were the most awesome hours of my life." Ginger smiled bitterly.
"Ahh.. So.. Why are you acting like this?.. He was behind you like a tail, during the day."
"I knew.. The reason that I want to get rid of him is, I want to protect him.."
"Wha?!" Kisame arched an eyebrow. "What did you say!?"
"He is naive.. Extremely naive.." Yahiko explained. "If he continues hanging out with me..." Chocolate brown gaze of Ginger moved towards the table far away from them.. His gaze locked on the girl who was talking with her friends.. "..he will be hurt at the end.."
"Konan, huh?" Deidara lowered his eyebrows.
"I can't do that to him..." Yahiko put his head on table with a sad sigh. "It's like I send him to death.."
"What did Konan do?" Sasori leaned down Deidara's ear, whispered.
"I will tell you later.." Deidara replied with another whisper.
"I deserved that.." Yahiko murmured with a sad tone.
