Next chapter time! I know I said I would've done it a few weeks ago but I got lazy. XD A small spoiler for you, Heaven is going to have a weakness in here. That's all I'm saying.

Alone With The Enemy

Heaven's POV

We came to a warehouse when we heard of reports of someone attacking it. Turns out it was a Highbreed. Once we arrived it attacked us. It was shooting at Ben while Gwen was shooting her mana at it.

"It's trying to run. Cut it off," Gwen said.

Kevin jumped off the ledge and tried to hang on to him by the neck but it didn't work. The Highbreed threw him off across the room.

"I got it covered," Ben said while turning into Echo Echo.

The Highbreed jumped over Echo Echo and went behind me. Gwen fired mana blasts at him. I absorbed the ground and did a cartwheel while kicking the Highbreed.

"Nice going Mr. I got it covered," I said.

"Hey I'm all over it," Echo Echo said while him and his Echo Echo clones went after the Highbreed.

They went on top of the Highbreed and knocked him over.

"Don't touch me creature," The Highbreed said.

"Don't let him get in that thing it's a teleporter pod," Kevin said referring to the Highbreed going to the transporter.

I ran toward the Highbreed and tried grabbing him by the neck in a choke hold. Kevin threw a rock at the teleporter. I looked and saw the beam from the transporter hit us.

"You damaged the transmission field," The Highbreed said while we were being transported.

I fell off the Highbreed and landed on the ground. I looked around and saw we weren't in the warehouse anymore. There were rock formations and the ground felt like sand. Oh, crud I'm completely useless here. I won't be able to absorb anything to help fight the Highbreed. Ben was still attacking the Highbreed and I just stood there. I didn't know what I could do since my armor came off as soon as we were here. I wasn't paying attention to what they were saying since I was completely shocked. Of all the idiotic things for Kevin to do, he had to throw a rock on the transporter. Who knows how long we'll be stuck here for? I hope there's another transporter here so we could get home. The Highbreed and Echo Echo were still fighting until we felt the ground shake.

"Was that an earthquake?" Echo Echo asked.

The ground shook and then something came up from the ground. It was a massive worm-like creature with a large mouth ringed with teeth. It came up through the sand. I ran when it was coming after us. I looked and saw Echo Echo multiplying so he could have some back up with Echo Echo. They all went around the creature and he used a sonic screams.

"Thanks for the warning," I said sarcastically while covering my ears.

The creature went back into the sand and the Echo Echoes were thrown on the sand. The creature came back up from the sand by where the Echo Echoes were. One of the Echo Echoes went into the creature's mouth but he spit the Echo Echo back up again. I looked and saw the creature going after the Highbreed.

"Highbreed look out," Echo Echo said.

I'm surprised that it wasn't coming after me. I was very powerless. Echo Echo was using his sonic screams while the Highbreed shot claw darts at the creature. There was nothing I could do since it was all sand around here. The creature finally went back in the sand and stayed there.

"What was that thing?" I asked.

"A Dravek its kind is numerous on this planet," The Highbreed said while panting, "In this planet."

"Then we better get this off this planet before any more of them show up," Echo Echo said while walking past the Highbreed.

"We?" The Highbreed asked.

"Yes we. You couldn't defeat it alone, Heaven's useless here and I couldn't. If more of them come, our only hope of survival is to fight together. You know I'm right" Echo Echo said.

"Yea don't remind me Ben," I said angrily.

"I know no such thing," The Highbreed said.

"I don't like this any better than you do," Echo Echo said. "Um how do we get off this, this um planet? Whatever it's called."

"We are on Turrawuste a desert world useful only as a teleporter relays station," The Highbreed said.

"So how come we didn't beam into the teleporter?" I asked.

"The damage to the pod must've temporary shifted the focusing axis," He said.

"Can you fix it?" Echo Echo asked.

"If we find the teleporter pod station on this planet, we won't need to fix it. Simply avoid hitting it with a rock while it's activated," He said.

"You can blame Kevin for that one," I said.

"Ok smart guy where is it?" Ben asked.

"Impossible to tell," He said.

"Impossible for you maybe," Echo Echo said while sending a sonic scream to the north.

"What have I said about a warning?" I yelled. "I told ya I have sensitive hearing!"

"That way. It will take a day or more to reach it on foot, let's go," Echo Echo said. "Come on the sooner we get there the sooner we get home," He said while scratching his butt.

"Really?" I asked.

"Your kind disgusts me!" He said.

"Huh what did you say?" Echo Echo asked while looking at his hands.

"I will not allow such a filthy creature to spend a single moment longer in my presence," He said.

"Creeps you out? I can take care of that." Echo Echo said while pushing his Omnitrix, "See I'm really just a plain old human."

"That is even worse. Be gone foul thing. I shall traverse to the teleporter alone," He said.

Then the ground started shaking again.

"We'll have to watch each other's backs we don't want any more Draveks to get the drop on us, or under us you know what I mean," Ben said. "Now what?"

"If I am forced to travel with you then you must keep 10 paces behind me at all times," He said.

"But I'm the one who knows the way!" Ben said.

"Are you serious?" I asked.

"10 paces," He said.

"Fine whatever just get moving," Ben said.

We then started to make the journey to the other side of the planet.

"Phew hot enough for ya?" Ben asked trying to be funny.

I laughed a little bit.

"Yes," He said.

"No see I wasn't really asking it was just an expression. It means it is hot out," Ben said.

"It is obviously hot. I do not see the point of reiterating in what we all already know," He said.

"Just be glad that I didn't say it's not the heat it's the humidity," Ben said.

"There is no humidity! It is in fact the heat!" He said annoyed.

"I know," Ben said, "I was just trying to make conversation." He said softly.

The Highbreed knelt on the ground. We ran towards him.

"Do not touch me file thing," He said.

"Here," Ben said while taking off his jacket, "you can use it to keep the sun off your head."

Ben threw his jacket on the ground.

"I do not take charity from vermin. I merely require a moments rest," He said.

"Suit yourself." I said while grabbing Ben's jacket and putting it on.

I left the jacket undone, put the hood over my head, and put my hands in the pockets. Just because it was hot out I didn't mind wearing a jacket. With this weather, it's a little cold for me. I'm the cold one in the family.

"Rest won't cut it you're dehydrated already," Ben said.

"The one true species thrives in a much cooler climate," He said.

"Humans like it cooler than this too, but you're actually wasting away here! I've got something that can help us all beat the heat," Ben said while turning into Big Chill.

He was blowing cool air at the Highbreed. There was so much cool air it hit me. I was glad I had the jacket on.

"Desist, stop that this instant," He said.

Big Chill stopped.

"Why?" Big Chill asked.

"I did not request your assistance," He said.

"I know. Chill dude. See what I did there?" Big Chill asked.

"I do not," He said.

"I made a little pun. See?" Big Chill asked, "Hey what's that?"

There was a brown crater and it looked like there was water in it.

"Water," I said.

"Your powers of deduction are truly staggering," He said.

"Whatever. I'm getting a drink. I'll bring some back for the both of you," Big Chill said while flying towards it.

I saw those creatures come from the sand again around Big Chill.

"Ben watch out!" I screamed.

He froze the creature then came back towards us.

"It was a trap," Big Chill said.

"Gullible prey can often be lured by the right bait. Many creatures use this to their advantage," He explained.

"That thing's getting loose let's move," Big Chill said.

"You cannot issue commands to me! Mongrel, lesser beings do my bidding," He said.

We saw the creature getting freed from the ice Ben made on its teeth. It was coming for us.

"And I think we could fight," He said.

"Alright if you say so." Big Chill said while flying towards the creature.

He flew on the inside and froze it but it broke it again. I just stood around because there was nothing I could do.

"We can't keep this up much longer," Big Chill said.

"Follow my lead," He said.

"And do what?" Big Chill said.

"Freeze him," He said.

"Already tried that," Big Chill said.

"From the inside. Stay inside and keep him inside until I say otherwise," He said.

Big Chill went inside the creature and stayed in there to freeze him.

"Now!" He said while he shot claw darts at the creature.

Big Chill got out of the creature while he went back into the sand. The Highbreed knelt on the ground in agony again.

"Don't you dare. Leave me be," He threatened. "Now that the danger has passed I can locate water myself."

He put, what looked like vines, into the sand and they were lowering down there.

"Ew gross," Big Chill said.

"You said it," I said.

"There is water below the sand if one looks deeply enough. There," He said.

"I didn't know you Highbreeds were some kind of plant," Big Chill said.

"We are not some kind of anything. The Highbreed is the only kind," He said.

By now, Ben was back in his human form. It was about sunset. This planet had two suns, or maybe one was a moon. I really couldn't tell. Ben and I found some water and drank it. We got up and continued to walk behind the Highbreed. Then we heard a noise.

"Did you hear something?" Ben asked.

"I heard nothing except you human, which is the same as nothing," He said.

"Ha-ha," Ben said sarcastically.

"I believe I am beginning to grasp your concept of humor," He said.

The ground started to shake.

"More Draveks underground?" Ben asked.

"Worse," He said.

"Oh come on worse?" Ben asked.

We turned and it looked like there were cockroaches with spikes for legs behind us.

"Dasypodidae," He said.

"They're little how could these guys possibly be worse than Draveks?" Ben asked.

"A bullet is small and it's worse," I said.

They came closer and started to crawl on me. I tried swatting them off me but there were so many. I noticed that Ben turned into Swampfire. He threw fireballs at them.

"This will only take a second," Swampfire said while throwing fireballs at them, "And when I say a second because I think this might take me more than an hour," He said while running.

Because of the flames, the Draveks went off me.

"Guys this way," Swampfire said.

The two of us ran up where Ben was. I stood on top of the rock he was on. The Highbreed was on the other side. He blasted a rock right when the Highbreed was coming up. The Highbreed was sliding down the hill and I grabbed him so he wouldn't go down.

"You're welcome," I said.

"How dare- you filthy- unhand me," He said while getting out of my grip.

"I saved you and this is the thanks I get?" I asked getting mad.

"What is with you? You don't like the creatures I turn into I get it, but come on Heaven was saving you! Cut a girl some slack once in a while," Swampfire said blowing up in the Highbreeds face.

The Highbreed started to walk away.

"Thanks," I whispered.

Swampfire just shook his head at me.

"10 paces behind," Swampfire said annoyed.

It was nighttime and we were still walking. Swampfire was mumbling to himself then made a small fire with his finger for light. I zippered Ben's jacket up because it was getting cold. We kept walking until Swampfire stopped.

"This is as good a place as any to set a camp for the night," Swampfire said.

"No, we shall walk through the night," He said.

"No, we shall camp here for the night," Swampfire mocked.

"I would not use such an insolent tone with me, lesser creature," He threatened.

"Oh really?" Swampfire asked.

"You have not yet dealt with me at my full strength. See how the cool night air has become to restore me," He said.

"Yea I've noticed," Swampfire said.

"I shall carry on from here on my own," He said.

"Alright go then," Swampfire said.

"You have outstayed your usefulness to me," He said while turning his back.

"So have you," Swampfire said.

Then we heard a roar.

"We shall camp here for the night," He said.

Swampfire made a campfire and turned back into himself. We were sitting on a boulder together.

"Pull up a boulder, sit down," Ben said.

"So your infernal pit can deplete me of my strength? I think not," He said.

"It's a campfire. It's a tradition to sit around it and you know talk," Ben said.

"Can we sing the Shut up Sean Song?" I asked happily.

"What?" Ben asked.

"Nothing," I said smiling.

"To you, for what conceivable purpose?" He asked.

"My name is Ben-Ben Tennyson," Ben said.

"My name is Heaven-Heaven Levin," I said, "What's yours?"

"I am known as Corine Reinassic III, seventh son of the noble Highbreed house of Dirassa, direct descendant of the pureblooded High Order of Raseckt. Heir to the-" He said before Ben interrupted him.

"I'm gonna call you Reiny," Ben said.

Ben was sticking a stick into the fire to keep it from going out.

"That is disrespectful Ben-Ben Tennyson!" Reiny said.

"It's weird despite the fact that we don't trust you any farther than Humungasour can throw you it's still pretty cool how we managed to work together to survive. I mean we may not be friends exactly but we're not full on mortal enemies anymore either," Ben explained.

"You and I are enemies," Reiny said.

"But we've been able to see past our differences, probably because I know what it's like to be- well not a Highbreed exactly but a whole bunch of other aliens creatures kind of like you. Thanks to this," Ben said while showing his Omnitrix, "I get to walk a mile in other life forms shoes, so I can totally understand what it's like to be them since I have been them," Ben explained.

"I mean," I said putting my hand on the bolder and absorbing it up to my wrist, "even though I'm a half breed I know what it's like to be a different species," I said making my hand just skin again. "I may not be like Ben but I know what it's like to be different."

"Such presumption, but what else is to be expected from genetically inferior creatures?" Reiny asked.

"I-I don't… what?" Ben asked confused.

"Why would I, a Highbreed, be the slightest bit interested in befriending the revolting likes of you?" Reiny asked.

"We're just trying to be nice here," Ben said while standing. "Find some common ground or something."

"You and I are more than near enemies. Highbreeds were the very first race in the universe. All species hence, other than pureblooded Highbreeds, are nothing but mongrels, hideous abominations of nature especially humans. As soon as I no longer require your aid for my own protection Ben-Ben Tennyson and Heaven-Heaven Levin, I shall eradicate you and there will be two less vermin infesting a grateful universe," Reiny explained.

"You can't really believe all that, not after everything we've been through, not after the way we've been helping you," Ben said.

"When you both weren't trying to kill me," Reiny said. "You are tired human I shall take the first watch."

"Oh no, I'm wide awake you get some sleep I'll take the first watch," Ben said.

The Highbreed glared at Ben and he listened. I was tired to so I would need some sleep. Ben laid back on the boulder and I positioned myself so I was laying on his stomach. He had one arm around my waist. Then I fell asleep.

I was in a white room. I guess Ben fell asleep at the same time as me. I saw a bubble with a viewing screen. I decided to go in it and see what Ben was dreaming. I saw that Ben and I were on a cruise ship. We were on the outside on the top deck and were by the window for viewing the outside. Ben and I were sitting next to each other. He was joking around that we might sink like the Titanic and crash. I started to laugh and agree with him jokingly. I knew we weren't going to crash. The wind was blowing and it was peaceful being on the curse. Away from the aliens and away from the drama. I haven't felt at peace since before everything that happened. I mean I like that we fight aliens but sometimes that can get stressful especially with being with the Highbreed now.

I heard a scream and felt myself being pulled. I opened my eyes to see Reiny right above us about to shoot his claw darts. It was directly at a Dravek by us. I yelled a little bit and Reiny grabbed it with his hand. The Dravek bit him. He tossed it to the ground and Reiny's hand came off.

"Can you regenerate it?" Ben asked.

"I am not a lowly homo plasious," Reiny yelled.

"But it can be healed?" Ben asked.

"Not from such an injury as this. Not in these conditions," Reiny said.

Ben tuned into Swampfire, ran over, and grabbed Reiny's hand that was on the ground. He then vined Reiny's hand back to his arm. Then Ben turned back into himself.

"Better?" Ben asked.

"Why would you help me?" Reiny asked.

"Why would you help us?" Ben asked in the same tone.

"It was in my own interest to stop that creature from harming you two," Reiny said.

"Yea, well it's in interest to help anybody who needs it," Ben said.

Ben and I were sitting back on the boulder and Reiny was sitting with his back away from the fire. Our hands were held by the flames to get heat. The ground was shaking again and the both of us got up. Reiny shot his claw darts at the boulder since it was moving. Ben went and put his foot on it and smiled our way. Then a Dravek came up and Ben was flown over towards us. Reiny went by the Dravek and shot at it. The Dravek kept following Reiny when he was running.

"Ben-Ben Tennyson, Heaven-Heaven Levin!" Reiny screamed.

I ran and grabbed a torch that was on the ground and ran toward the Dravek. I grabbed on to a spike on it and climbed to his head. I ran the length of his back until I got to the teeth. Once I was close enough I threw the torch in his mouth. I jumped off the Dravek and Reiny got off. The Dravek let a fire breath out and retreated into the ground.

"Maybe you were right, maybe we should walk at night," Ben said while we walked off.

We kept walking in silence until I started to talk. We were walking next to Reiny instead of us having to be behind him.

"Thanks for saving us back there…again," I said.

"This is a huge thing, a sign of personal growth. Proof that underneath it all Highbreeds aren't really so bad. That despite those terrible things you may have said before, you really do want to try to be friends with humans," Ben explained.

"Half human," I said.

"Still human nonetheless," Ben said.

It was sunrise and we finally got to the transporter.

"There it is! Come on!" I said while running towards it then stopping when I noticed Reiny wasn't following, "Not the 10 paces behind thing again…"

"Go home Heaven-Heaven Levin and Ben-Ben Tennyson. I shall remain here," Reiny said.

"Did you hit your head or something? There's the transporter. We could finally get off of this sand trap of doom and get back to our lives," Ben said.

"I have spent to long with you Ben-Ben Tennyson and have therefore myself become contaminated," Reiny said.

"Contaminated?" I asked.

"As clearly evidenced by my uncharacteristic behavior, risking my own life to save you, lowly humans." Reiny explained.

"Reiny, what you did was a good thing," I said saddened by his response.

"I have obviously become infected by your mongrel influence and am now myself unclean," Reiny explained.

"But even if we believed that was true. Why stay here?" Ben asked.

"In self-imposed exile as it should be. For I can never return home or anywhere. I could infect the rest of my kind. The only honorable choice- is to remain here," Reiny explained.

"No," Ben and I said.

"Because all lesser beings other than pure unadulterated Highbreeds much be expunged from the universe including myself," Reiny said.

"I thought we had gotten through to you!" I said.

"I thought you had changed," Ben said.

"This much is true. I have changed and now I must pay the price," Reiny said.

The portal was started up and a blue glow lit it. Ben and I grabbed each other's hands as we made out way into the portal. We looked back at Reiny with a sad look and then we jumped inside. We landed back at the warehouse. We landed on the floor and stood up. We unlinked hands as we saw Gwen and Kevin.

"Ben/Heaven!" Gwen and Kevin exclaimed while running towards us.

Gwen hugged Ben and I hugged Kevin.

"You guys gave us a big scare," Kevin said while using both of his hands to ruffle both Ben's and my hair.

"Where's the Highbreed? Did he get away?" Gwen asked.

"I doubt it," Ben said sadly.

Edit 4/13/17: Wow it only took me a few days to edit all these chapters again. I'll admit it, it was really fun reediting all these chapters to what they should be. It was nice getting back into writing Heaven. I hope these chapters show the better writing skill that I have. I shall see you in Chapter 14. (Which ps, is a fanmade one because of what happens next chapter.)

That is where it ends! I'm sorry it took almost a month but I'm not in the mood to update… It's not because I lost interest for this story, it's because of my own personal problems. Other than that, do you like this chapter? The "Shut up Sean Song" Is a parody of SpongeBob's Campfire Song Song. XD My friend made that up for our friend Sean. XD I was actually tempted to put the lyrics in here but I didn't. Most likely, neither of them are reading this but anyway… XD The dream that Heaven had was based on a dream I had about my crush and the trip to Philly I had last year where we went on a cruise ship. XD

Well here's some important information: The poll on my profile is still going on so if you want to vote on it go do that. Also I made two new OCs. I'm debating whether or not to put them in here… I made two twins who are Harvey's and Mrs. Levin's kids and Heaven and Kevin's stepsiblings. They are two years younger than Heaven. If you guys want me to throw them in here in a fanmade chapter, I will. I might throw them in here in the 3rd season though.

Actually, I made 4 new OCs but the other two cannot be in here since they are Heaven and Ben's future kids. XD I might make a future fanfic with them… I just don't know when. XD

About the next chapter: Ok so the next chapter is Good Copy, Bad Copy I don't know how I'll do that since it's a copy of Ben, Albedo, and they don't know it's not Ben… I don't know how I'll do it since Heaven is, mostly, always with Ben if not Kevin. I'll figure it out next weekend. XD

Questions: What are your opinions on this chapter? Do you like that I have Heaven with Ben when she can be with him? Do you know the weakness that Hev had in this chapter? If you don't it was that she couldn't absorb anything. Since everything was mostly, sand. XD If there are any flames I will use them to roast smores!
