Naruto stared the Hokage in the eyes, unwilling to back down. "You knew it would take me some time to finish with Kushina and return, it's not my fault you didn't think I'd last the full month."
Sarutobi Hiruzen, Sandaime Hokage of Konohagakure no Sato, couldn't help but stare at the young devil in front of him. One part in pride, how many men can boast of surviving one month filled with nothing but sex? Clearing his throat, Hiruzen eyed the young man. "It's not that I didn't have faith in you, Naruto, but rather... I have to wonder how you survived with nothing to eat or drink, no sleep, and no bathroom breaks."

Seriously, he didn't want those answers. If he could, he'd blank them from his memories. He now knew, unequivocally, why most of his Clan didn't bother going past two weeks. A sudden yawn escaped the young devil. "Are you done chewing me out yet, Jiji? I'm dead tired, and I'd like to get some sleep. Maybe I can come back in a week? I should be awake again by then."

Without another word, Naruto stood, gave a small bow of respect, and vanished into his Clan Circle, headed for home, and sleep. He wasn't kidding about being exhausted. His only compensation was that Kushina was just as tired, and had already headed for bed.

It was apparently not in their purview to undertake A-ranked missions, even if it the Genin in question were only at the rank due to inexperience as shinobi. However, since Naruto formally accepted it as a Devil Request, the Hokage could do little more than glare at him.
As a Genin-ranked shinobi, it was beyond Naruto's supposed ability. As an S-ranked DEVIL, however, Naruto was well within his rights to accept the mission. So he could quite honestly state, that he had done two missions simultaneously; protect the bridge builder from bandits as a Shinobi, and exterminate Gato as a devil. It was a nice little loophole that Naruto felt he was going to abuse in the future.
As to what happened with Gato's fall from power and his holdings/business... The last thing Naruto had heard about that was that Tsunami had taken up as the defacto fence for some of the more shady sides and auctioned them off or outright had Zabuza destroy them, for a fee of course. Devil's almost never worked non gratis, and Zabuza was hardly an exception to that. The shipping business was left largely intact, and Tsunami had it brought to heel within the first few days of her takeover, and apparently she had taken a small shine to Zabuza's methods because she kept paying him to help her out. Considering she had the entirety of Gato's funds at her disposal, Zabuza was only too happy to be her hired muscle.
Who knew that such such a sweet face held such sadism? Naruto prayed heavily that she never met Rias' Queen, Akeno. There wouldn't be a force shy of an archangel that would be able to stop them, and Naruto doubted even that would work. Especially if someone decided to reincarnate Tsunami as a devil.
Though Tsunami had given Haku a message for Naruto, whenever he woke up again. It stated that whenever he found the time, she'd be waiting to thank him personally for his help in ridding her country of that backstabbing Gato. Apparently he was very unhappy that his people had been spirited off under his watch, and has found the leaks in his border patrols, and dealt with them severely. He was, however, glad to hear that his people had found a new Lord to follow and wishes to hear from you soon.
I would advise a speedy message, sent as soon as you possibly can. His speech within the letter did not strike me as a man who enjoys being left to the last minute. As such I believe sending him an acknowledgment would be a very good idea.
Second, Gato's drug warehouses were emptied, and their contents burned in a controlled manner. We of Nami no Kuni have no need nor desire for such substances, nor do we wish to profit from them. The warehouses were then re-purposed back to their original design for the storage of our dried foods, such as fish.
Third, Gato Shipping, the main business itself, is now fully under my control. I have taken to renaming it Wave Shipping, and the re-fitting of Gato's old vessels has begun. While Zabuza-san sank a fair number of ships, he -by no means- destroyed all of them. Many were spared as the crews jumped ship.

Of Naruto's Peerage, the only ones to have bothered to actually receive their Evil Pieces were Ayame, Samui, and Hana.
The three of them had apparently decided that extra protection was necessary for the pregnant members of Naruto's not inconsiderable Harem. Now, however, Guren's allegiance was firmly with Ayame, and young Yukimaru was over the moon at getting away from his "Guren-Nee-chan's" previous boss. A boss that apparently experimented on the boy whenever she wasn't around. Guren was not happy to know about that little piece of information. So as both a show of loyalty and a form of revenge, Guren gladly gave up all she knew about her former employer, a man named Orochimaru.
That name had struck the aged Sandaime Hokage hard, as he had been Orochimaru's teacher once, and when they had caught him doing inhumane experiments on children, Hiruzen couldn't bring himself to kill his former student. A rather foolish bit of sentimentality, if you were to ask pretty much anyone else, but it was one that Naruto felt he might be able to sympathize with, if only from the opposite positions. Naruto knew he probably wouldn't be able to destroy Yugito if she ever went rogue on him.
Guren knew a surprising amount of information, from multiple base locations, to the fact that the recently started village of Otogakure (Hidden Sound) belonged to Orochimaru, and so much more it wasn't even funny. They even managed to oust an entire team of spies consisting of a supposed Genin cell and their jonin-sensei because of her, capturing them and sending them to ANBU T&I.
On a related side note, Anko was having a heyday with those four. They were being incredibly tight-lipped, allowing her to use many unorthodox tortures to extract information. One of which got the jonin to start talking... A complete, twenty-four hour marathon of repeated exposure to a video of one Maito Gai in a speedo, doing hip thrusts and many other exercises in a highly disturbing fashion, all alongside what appeared to be either his son or a small clone.
Naruto quickly shook his head. He didn't want that mental image any more than that jonin did. it was bad enough that Gai used to sometimes stand out front of the compound, yelling out his "youthful" challenges to Kakashi. That was put to an end when one of the Uchiha servants, who was acting as a butler, kindly advised Gai that he was "unyouthfully disturbing the rest of not only the others in the house, but the remainder of the neighborhood". ... The man was given an instant pay raise, and given a higher position of authority.
Naruto believed in rewarding such good work. The man in question was now happily married to one of the maids, with a young son of his own, and another child on the way. His wife was often seen in the Compound's hotspring with Tsunade, Hana and Mabui, relaxing and giving the two soon-to-be mothers advice. Kushina had apparently joined that little club, as she had visited Tsunade to see if the month-long sex had produced any results, and she was rewarded with the knowledge of her newest pregnancy.
Kushina was now expecting quadruplets, adding four to the count of Hana's twins, Mabui's single, and Tsunade's single; eight children on the way, and Naruto hoped that would be all for the time being. Naruto's thoughts were interrupted by Mikoto setting a cup of tea in front of him. He took the reprieve gladly, sipping lightly at the steaming beverage. Sighing, Naruto placed the cup of tea back down. "Thank you, Miko-chan. I knew that there would be a backlog from that month I spent with Kushina, but I hadn't expected it to be quite so much." He gestured to the large stacks of paperwork sitting on his desk.
Holding a small tray in both hands, Mikoto smiled. It was always nice to be appreciated. "You're welcome, Naruto-kun, but if it's so much trouble, why not delegate some of it to others?"
He ran a hand through his naturally unruly hair. "I've already done that, Miko-chan. All this is what can only be handled by me as Clan Head. Kushina could do a little of it, but in the end I'd still have to go over it, and approve everything." He shook his head and sank back into the comfort of his leather chair.
It was times like this that made Naruto question his sanity. WHY did he want all this again? ... Oh, right, he loved multiple women, he wanted a big family, and he, for some unfathomable reason, had wanted the responsibility of being his Clan's leader, despite Kushina's return to life.
Why didn't he take Miko-chan's advice and simply become a shadow-leader? Let Kushina run things in public, and he ran things behind the scenes. It was a sound plan, but by now it it was too late to implement as the entire Underworld, or at least the parts that gave a damn, knew he was the Head.
He could not understand just how Sirzechs made it look so easy... Wait, he had Grayfia to bust his ass back into line. Naruto gave a sidelong look at Mikoto and decided to save her the agony of trying to emulate the Lucifer's Queen, or giving Tsunade the idea for that matter, and see if he couldn't do something about the paperwork on his own.
If only he could do it all at once... Wait a second... Could he use Kage Bunshin? He thought about it for a moment before discarding it. Too unpredictable. What one thought would be a good idea and signed, another might decide to sign the counter argument. Though he supposed he could at least use them to read through the stacks... Nah, he'd rather not court the headache when he finally dismissed them.
Solo it was to be, then. Oh well. Live and learn, as they say.
Taking another sip of tea, Naruto picked up the next set of forms and nearly spit out the drink in surprise. Coughing heavily, he quickly passed the papers he was holding to Mikoto so he didn't accidentally get anything on them. Mikoto's sudden giggles in regards to what she was reading on those papers didn't really help him that much.
They were official Declaration of Servitude documents, citing the giving of one Inuzuka Kiba into the service of Uzumaki-Inuzuka Hana, to be used however she saw fit. Naruto could only assume this was part of Kiba's "punishment", to be forced into protecting Naruto's offspring or become a hunted Nuke-nin. The papers required only Naruto's and Hana's signatures for it to become legally binding.
Oh, the bitter irony for Kiba.
Although the Inuzuka male could have had it a great deal worse. As it stood, with Hana as his "owner", Kiba wouldn't necessarily be bad off. Hana was well-known for her kind nature, and gentle handling of a situation. In fact she was the primary reason there was so little friction with the addition of Naruto's new Tetsu no Kuni vassals. Hana had even gone ahead and assigned them rooms, duties, and got them each several copies of the current uniform for female servants; which just so happened to be a short charcoal-colored kimono with a white lower apron and tabi socks, and the Uzumaki Whirl in place over the left breast. There was a variation for married, older, or too-shy girls of a full-length kimono, but over all they seemed to enjoy wearing the current "official" uniform.
The male servants had decided years ago that they would have one uniform, and would stick with it. They had chosen traditional kimono and hakama in the proper charcoal color, and finished their look with the same white tabi socks. Simple, concise, and with the Uzumaki Whirl over the left side of the chest, they were unmistakable.
Naruto had to shake his head yet again. Damn side-tracked mind, he had work to do. He couldn't just play around like those kids in the courtyard with Hinata, while she practiced archery with her bow, Fail-not...
Crap. He forgot about the scroll filled with those items he had taken from Gato. He had as yet to categorize them, and decide upon whether or not to give them out to his people, or just lock them away in the Vault for the time being.
Screw it. THIS he could delegate. And he knew perhaps the perfect person for the job. He turned in his chair to Mikoto, only to find her naked with lust-filled eyes, and having placed the usual privacy-ensuring spells up.
