Emerald's POV

Vale - Warehouse District

5:20 PM

After that risky encounter against the man in blue, Emerald, Roman, and Neo were able to get out in time thanks to Neo's illusions. Emerald was about to use a hallucination, but due to what the man in blue did to her before, she had a very hard time doing this.

But with some sheer luck, Neo was able to get them to another warehouse in time.

"Phew...that was close." Emerald said while holding her arm in pain, due to it being broken. "You alright Neo?"

Neo just nodded as a response. But once she did this, she coughed up some blood. Just as she did this, she shook her head in denial, contradicting her previous statement.

"God...I didn't expect him to just appear like that…" Emerald muttered. "At least we were able to get out…"

Looking back at Roman, Emerald just saw him face flat on the ground. But someone was missing, and Emerald knew exactly who it was.

"Wait...where's Cinder?" Emerald asked.

As a response to this, Neo pointed towards a medical bed just behind her. On this bed was an unconscious Cinder, as if nothing happened.

"Good, she's fine." Emerald said. "But...what about Mercury?"

Now Neo had a different reaction. Instead of showing where Mercury was, all she did was shook her head in denial. Not only that, but Neo pulled out a sign that said:

"I'm sorry…"

That alone made Emerald knew exactly what she meant.

"I see…" Emerald muttered while closing her eyes a bit. "It's not your fault. It's not like you could do anything…"

Seeing this, Neo just closed her eyes as if she was a bit disappointed.

"Come on Neo, we need to get going." Emerald said. "Let's patch up Roman, get more White Fang soldiers, and try to continue with our current plan."

Nodding as a response, Neo pulled out a first aid kit and started running towards Roman.

Dante's POV

Vale - Devil May Cry

4:50 PM

Meanwhile, Dante was seen resting on his chair and eating his last slice of pizza.

"Alright...no calls so far…" Dante muttered. "So much for doing work."

Though while Dante was still eating his slice, his store doors opened. What surprised him was that it was none other than Ironwood.

"So Ironwood, what brings you here?" Dante asked.

"This is something serious Dante." Ironwood said. "It's about your brother."

That response made Dante raised one brow and sigh in annoyance.

"Okay, what did he do?" Dante asked.

"Were you not watching the news?" Ironwood asked.

"Why would I? I don't even own a TV." Dante said.

"I knew I should've bought you one…" Ironwood muttered. "Anyways, many eyewitnesses state that he robbed the Schnee mansion just today. And now we don't even know what to do."

"So?" Dante asked.

"So? Aren't you going to do something about that?" Ironwood asked.

"I didn't really have any plans." Dante shrugged.

"Dante, this is serious!" Ironwood said. "Look, what if I–"

"Ironwood, still no." Dante said.

"Why?" Ironwood said. "If you don't stop your brother, he'll harm innocents."

"You don't know who my brother is then." Dante said. "As crazy as he is, I highly doubt he would go out of his way to murder innocent civilians like that. So tell me Ironwood, did he kill any of your men?"

"...Not exactly." Ironwood said. "Just knocked them out."

"See? That's a good sign." Dante said. "That basically means you have to leave him alone. He doesn't give second warnings."

"Regardless, I won't take that risk." Ironwood said. "Though why can't you handle him yourself? You did say that you always fought with him."

"But there's a reason why I try my best to ignore him." Dante said while standing out of his chair.

Just as he stood up, Dante's amulet dropped out of his neck.

"You see this amulet? You have any idea what it is?" Dante asked.

"...No. You didn't really specify…" Ironwood responded.

"This is my father's amulet. Well, half of it. My brother has the other half." Dante said. "I'm trying my best to keep as much contact away from him so he doesn't take this half of the amulet."

"...A bit curious, what happens if he gets that half?" Ironwood asked.

"Then he gets even more power than before." Dante said. "Do you really want to risk that General? Besides, he's not killing anyone right?"

"Dante…" Ironwood said.

"But!" Dante said while raising his finger. "If it'll stop you from asking me, then I guess I could check on him."

For a second there, Ironwood just stood there in confusion. After all that talk about not confronting Vergil, all of a sudden, Dante is willing to confront him. Odd…

"Though it'll cost you extra." Dante said.

"Doesn't matter. If it'll stop him, then it's fine by me." Ironwood said.

"That's what I like to hear." Dante responded. "So...where do I start?"

Just as Dante said this, a loud explosion was heard from a distance. Telling from how far the explosion was, Dante assumed it must be somewhere down south. The only places of interest that would be down south are the docks and...warehouse.

Dante then remembered what happened the last time he went to the warehouse district. Knowing this, he knew exactly where to go.

"Nevermind. I think I got it." Dante said.

"Do you need help?" Ironwood asked.

"No. I'll be fine." Dante said. "Besides, you said you wanted to reduce as much casualties as possible right? Well you can do that by not sending Atlas soldiers to their death."

"Well if you put it like that…" Ironwood said.

"Exactly." Dante said. "Now I best hurry before any more warehouses get destroyed…"

Grabbing Rebellion, Dante placed it on his back and started walking out of his store. Just as he was about to leave, Ironwood just called out his name.

"Dante." Ironwood said, prompting him to turn around. "If you were going after your brother regardless, why did you tell me all of these things?"

With a deep breath, Dante started approaching Ironwood.

"Just know that if you ever ask me to do any of these things again…" Dante said. "Remember that I'm not doing this for you."

Dante proceeded to kick his store door open and left Ironwood all by himself. Even though he knew a bit of Dante's relationship with Vergil, he was still a bit curious on Dante's change of mind.

Vale - Warehouse District

5:00 PM

Walking towards the warehouse district, Dante finally made it to the scene. As expected, he saw an exploded warehouse and numerous police cars. Sure, he also saw some ambulances and a few Atlas soldiers, but that was pretty much it.

Dante walked towards the crowd of authorities to see what exactly did he miss.

"Back away citizen…" Cop 1 said to Dante.

"Ugh...not this crap again…" Dante thought. "And then one of them is going to recognize me…"

"Stand down officer." Atlas Soldier 1 said. "He's here to help."

"I knew it…" Dante muttered. "So, talk to me officer…"

"Half an hour ago, there was a huge explosion that blew up this warehouse. Similar to the one explosion a few days ago." Cop 1 said.

"Apparently, there was a cast amount of Dust being stored in this warehouse." Cop 2 said. "Looks like something caused all that Dust supply to explode at once."

"Geez...again?" Dante asked. "Talk about unlucky."

"Tell me about it…" Atlas Soldier 1 said.

"I also noticed that a few ambulances are present." Dante said. "Anyone got injured?"

"...Not exactly." Atlas Soldier 1 said. "They're just here to pick up the bodies…"

"Basically...they're all dead." Cop 1 said.

"I think he knows that officer." Atlas Soldier 1 said.

"How many casualties?" Dante asked.

"More than 50." Cop 1 said. "Most of which are White Fang members…"

"White Fang?" Dante asked.

"A terrorist group to be exact. Composed of numerous Faunus all over the world." Atlas Soldier 1 said. "Looks like they were operating some kind of Dust operation."

"But that's classified for now." Cop 2 said.

"Of course it would be…" Dante muttered. "Though you said most of them were White Fang members. What'd you mean by that?"

"One of them looked like a civilian." Cop 1 said.

"Mind if I look at him?" Dante asked.

"Sure. I'll show you to him." Atlas Soldier 1 said.

Following the Atlas Soldier, Dante started approaching ambulance stretcher that was covered in a blanket. Curious to see what was inside, Dante slowly pulled up the blanket to see who was inside.

All he saw was a grey haired man with numerous scorch marks on the left side of his face.

"What happened to him?" Dante asked.

"Telling from his scorch marks, he was presumably killed by the explosion." Atlas Soldier 1 said. "But what's weird is that he has numerous stab wounds in the chest and leg area. Luckily, we were able to get a quick glance on what exactly stabbed him."

"And that is?" Dante asked.

"Blue broadswords." Atlas Soldier 1 said. "But before we could take them in for investigation, they just shattered like glass."

The description that the Atlas Soldier gave to Dante made it point towards Vergil's Summoned Swords. Now Dante was even more curious to where Vergil could be. He can't linger here any longer.

"Anyways...you guys continue with your little investigation over here." Dante said. "I'll be looking around if there's anything else that would help."

"Go ahead." Atlas Soldier 1 said.

Dante left the crime scene and started walking towards the other warehouses.

4 minutes later…

But just as he left, he found absolutely nothing. Likely since he wasn't given any hints or leads on where the hell to look. So for the past four minutes, Dante was just wandering around the warehouse district with no traces of Vergil.

"Great...nothing." Dante said. "Besides, it's not like Vergil would travel all the way here for nothing…"

Walking further down the warehouse aisles, Dante still found absolutely nothing.

Well, that was until his problem stood right behind him.

Turning around, Dante just saw Vergil standing right behind him.

"Still looking for me I see?" Vergil asked. "And I thought I was supposed to do that…"

"There you are…" Dante said. "You caused quite a commotion out there. Not only did you blow up a warehouse, but you also killed more than 50...Faunus...or whatever they are..."

"You gotta do what'd you gotta do…" Vergil muttered.

"And why would you do that?" Dante asked. "Just wanted to throw a hissy fit at this world?"

"That's something you should find out on your own…" Vergil scoffed.

"Of course you'd be like that." Dante said while rolling his eyes.

"Before we could converse any further, you seem to have something that is mine…" Vergil said.

Dante knew exactly what he was looking for. Gripping onto his amulet, Dante just slowly walked away from Vergil.

"Okay, now you're going for this amulet?" Dante asked. "Where were you for the past few days? Cause honestly, through"

"Had to familiarize myself to this world." Vergil said. "Besides, every time we do these types of scrimmages, it always ends in a tie. So I decided to give myself an edge this time."

"Regardless…" Dante said while pointing Rebellion towards Vergil. "You know I can't let you do that."

"You'll find out soon enough…" Vergil said while getting Yamato.

"I was hoping you'd do that." Dante said while grabbing Rebellion with both of his hands.

Running towards Vergil, Dante tried swinging Rebellion towards him. With no struggle, Vergil just parried every single swing, causing Dante's Rebellion to bounce back. Still affected by the flinch, Vergil used this chance to teleport right behind Dante.

Once behind Dante, Vergil gripped onto Yamato and smacked him in the back with his scabbard. Vergil then pulled out Yamato and swung it once towards Dante, knocking him back a few feet. While Dante was still trying to recover from the knockback, Vergil teleported towards him, pulled out Force Edge, and swung it towards Dante. After a few swings, Vergil executed Million Stabs and started stabbing Dante numerous times until finally launching him back with one strong stab to the chest.

Vergil was going to dash in with Stinger, but recovering from the attack, Dante pulled out Kalina Ann and shot a rocket straight towards him. Immediately after, Vergil pulled out Yamato and slashed the incoming rocket into numerous pieces. Just as the rocket was sliced, Dante teleported right behind him with Trick and slashed the back of Vergil's head with Rebellion, staggering him a bit. Dante pulled out Agni and Rudra and swung them towards Vergil numerous times. After a few swings, Dante dashed in with Jet Stream, slashing Vergil even more. Dante then pulled out Cerberus and followed up with Revolver, spinning violently in the air while smacking the nunchucks towards Vergil's head.

Before Dante could land the final blow, Vergil parried the attack with Force Edge and teleported backwards.

Pulling out Yamato, Vergil started slashing the air numerous times. While it looked like it did nothing, Dante started noticing numerous Judgement Cuts heading towards his direction. To dodge all of them, Dante started dashing left and right with Sky Star and teleporting upwards with Trick. Approaching Vergil, Dante tried firing Ebony and Ivory towards him. But instead of catching each bullet, Vergil just teleported away from Dante's flurry of bullets.

Appearing right under Dante, Vergil pulled out Beowulf and launched him further into the air with Beast Uppercut. After landing, Vergil summoned numerous Summoned Swords and fired them towards Dante, juggling him a bit. Teleporting right above Dante, Vergil used Lunar Phase to somersault kick him numerous times until finally launching him back down with one powerful heel kick. The impact was so powerful, it actually caused Dante to create a small crater on the cement.

A bit pissed off, Dante kick flipped off the ground and grabbed onto Rebellion. Before Vergil could dive towards him with Helmbreaker, Dante parried the attack thanks to his Royalguard style. Just as he parried the attack, Dante teleported right above Vergil and dove in with Helmbreaker, slamming Vergil down towards the ground.

Landing right in front of Vergil, Dante pulled out Beowulf and kicked Vergil towards a nearby warehouse, making a huge dent towards its wall. While Vergil was still trying to pull himself out of the dented wall, Dante dashed in with Beowulf and punched him straight towards the warehouse wall, launching him inside the warehouse.

Once Vergil was out of the warehouse wall, Dante dashed towards Vergil again with Stinger and launched him towards the other wall of the warehouse. Equipping Beowulf again, Dante punched Vergil straight towards the warehouse wall until he was outside again.

Rolling out of the warehouse, Vergil finally recovered and looked forward, only to see Dante approaching him.

Teleporting towards Dante, Vergil pulled out Beowulf and tried punching him straight in the gut. But to retaliate, Dante countered with another punch from Beowulf. Countering blow after blow, Dante and Vergil continued punching with Beowulf. After a few punches, Dante and Vergil charged up some energy and started exchanging kicks. While Dante executed Beehive, Vergil countered with Kick 13, clashing numerous kicks in the process. After all of that, Vergil and Dante dashed in with a Straight punch and clashed with one another.

The sheer force of the attack actually launched both of them back a few feet.

Looking forward, Vergil pulled out Force Edge and threw it towards Dante, executing Round Trip. In a similar fashion, Dante pulled out Rebellion and threw it towards Vergil, also executing Round Trip. However, Vergil's Round Trip was more devastating since it was actually ripping the air around it, as seen from the black aura that was surrounding it. Likely due to Vergil's Concentration level. Because of this, Force Edge dove towards Dante and started slashing him numerous times, staggering him a bit until he finally parried it with Royalguard.

Teleporting right above Vergil, Dante dove in with Killer Bee from Beowulf, stunning Vergil a bit. But to maximize the damage output, Dante started jump-cancelling off of Vergil and repeated his usual combo. Mid combo, Dante pulled out his Shotgun and started firing numerous rounds off of Vergil. He then jump-cancelled off of Vergil and started firing even more rounds until it finally knocked Vergil back a bit.

Just as Vergil recovered, Dante dove in and swung Nevan towards him, knocking him back a bit while slashing him in the process.

"So much for all that talk…" Dante said.

Angered by this, Vergil pulled out two Fire Dust Crystal and started crushing them. Of course, this confused Dante a bit. But after some time, a fiery like aura started surrounding Vergil. Once this happened, Vergil activated Devil Trigger.

"YOU'RE GOING DOWN!" Vergil screamed.

Saying this, Vergil teleported right behind Dante while holding onto Force Edge. Teleporting right behind Dante, Vergil swung the sword towards his body.

What surprised Dante was that Force Edge all of a sudden had fire properties applied to it. Because of this, the sword charred Dante's skin a bit.

Still swinging his sword towards Dante, Vergil summoned numerous Summoned Swords that circled around him, similar to a barrier. The sheer amount of hits Vergil was getting onto Dante was so much, he started seeing Dante struggle a bit. Swapping into Beowulf, Vergil launched Dante into the air with Rising Sun. Teleporting back towards the ground, Vergil jumped straight up and started attacking Dante with Yamato, executing an Aerial Rave in the process. Not only that, but Vergil jump-cancelled off of Dante and continued with the Aerial Rave, damaging him even more. After the combo, Vergil pulled out Force Edge and dove down with Helmbreaker. But after all of that, Vergil followed up with Stinger, launching Dante back a bit.

"Playing rough huh?" Dante asked. "Two can play that game."

Slamming his fist onto the ground, Dante activated Devil Trigger as well.

Equipping Nevan, Dante hovered towards Vergil while firing a gigantic beam of electricity with Thunderbolt. To dodge this, Vergil just casually dodged it by teleporting out of the way.

Teleporting right behind Dante, Vergil just punched his back with a fiery punch from Beowulf, knocking him back several feet back. Before Dante could recover, Vergil dashed in with Force Edge via Stinger and pushed Dante towards a nearby warehouse. Stuck in the wall, Dante tried to get himself out. But before he could, Vergil just punched him inside the warehouse.

Vale - Warehouse

5:10 PM

Busting through the warehouse wall, Dante recovered a bit and looked forward, only to see Vergil slowly approach him. Standing up, Dante pulled out Ebony and Ivory and aimed it towards him.

"IMPULSIVE!" Vergil said while running towards Dante.

Just as they started approaching one another, they noticed that they were not alone in the warehouse.

Stopping their attacks, Dante and Vergil jumped back and looked to their right. All that the two saw was bunch of people. One of these people was a girl with green hair while the other looked like a girl themed off of Neapolitan ice cream.

While Dante didn't know exactly who these people were, Vergil looked at them as if he has seen them before.

"YOU!" Vergil screamed.

"You!" The green haired girl said with some fear.

"WE'RE NOT DONE YET!" Vergil said while dashing towards the girl.

Seeing this, Dante tried intercepting Vergil's attack by dashing in. But with no hesitation, Vergil just pushed him out of the way and tried slashing the girl with Yamato. While the girl was able to dodge out of the way, she was just a few centimeters away from getting her leg cut off.

Ready to swing Yamato again, Vergil turned towards the girl. But before Yamato could slice her, Dante teleported in and blocked the attack with Royalguard.

"YOU'RE FACING ME FIRST!" Dante exclaimed.

With no response, Vergil just pushed Dante away a few feet with Force Edge.

While Dante was pushed away, he landed right next to a medical bed. Looking at it, he noticed someone resting on it. What he noticed was that the person on this bed was the exact same person that tried robbing that Dust Store back when he first visited Vale.

The red dress. The black hair. The glass heels. It was the same person.

Seeing this, Dante knew that he had to kill her. But before he could swing Rebellion towards the lady, that ice cream lady from earlier just kicked him back a few feet.

Knocked back from the attack, Dante just landed right next to Vergil, who just looked beside Dante. Just as they did this, they deactivated their Devil Trigger.

"Yeah...no." The green haired girl said while backing away from Dante and Vergil.

"Oh no you don't!" Vergil said while dashing towards the girl.

Though just as he slashed them, the girl and ice cream lady shattered like glass, as if they were an illusion. Not only that, but Roman and the lady in red disappeared as well.

"I see you made some friends…" Dante said.

"I could say the same." Vergil said while sheathing Yamato. But just as he did this, he gripped onto the weapon and turned back towards Dante. "But that's not important…"

Dante can't help but sigh at how persistent Vergil was.

"Again with all this power crap…" Dante said while holding onto Rebellion. "Alright then, if you want this amulet that badly, then let's get this over with."

Scoffing a bit, Vergil pulled out two Gravity Dust Crystals, crushed them, and started absorbing some of its essences. Once Vergil did this, the air around him felt like it was pushing outwards.

"Y'know...I need to do that one day…" Dante thought while running towards Vergil.

Once near Vergil, Dante dashed in with Sky Star.. But instead of doing anything, Vergil just stood still as if nothing is going to happen. Likely because the aura surrounding him repelled Dante a few feet back, as if Vergil parried his attack without actually parrying it.

Seeing this, Vergil teleported right in front of a staggered Dante and swung Force Edge towards him. The amount of strength Vergil applied on this swing, plus the small impact enhancement from the Gravity Crystal, pushed Dante so far back, he actually collided with numerous shipping crates and pushed all of them back.

Now stuck on the walls of a shipping crate, Dante teleported out of it and dashed towards Vergil. Instead of diving in head first, Dante teleported right above Vergil with Beowulf ready. Just above him, Dante dove in with Killer Bee. Unlike last time, Dante was able to dive in hard enough to bypass the Gravity-like aura surrounding Vergil, staggering him a bit. After just one Killer Bee, Dante slammed both of his fists above Vergil's head, executing Hammer and causing Vergil to fall face flat on the ground. With Vergil now on the ground, Dante teleported into the air and came crashing down with Helmbreaker, damaging Vergil even more.

To get out of range, Vergil teleported backwards and stood back up on his feet.

"This is going nowhere…" Dante muttered. "Well...guess I have to use this sometime…"

Clashing both of his fists together, Dante summoned a shadow clone of his own with his Doppelganger style.

Dante started teleporting towards Vergil, whereas his clone started dashing in with Stinger. While Vergil blocked the clone's Stinger, Dante teleported above Vergil and used Aerial Cross with Agni and Rudra. Landing right in front of Vergil, both Dante and his clone pulled out Beowulf and started punching Vergil numerous times. After a basic combo, Dante and his clone executed Killer Bee simultaneously. Dante and his clone then followed up with Hyper Fist, punching Vergil at such a fast rate, it still bypassed his Gravity enhancement.

With that done, Dante and his clone punched Vergil out of the warehouse. Not only that, but the sheer force of the punch actually cancelled out Vergil's Dust enhancement. So apparently, if you take too much damage, you can actually cancel a Dust enhancement. The more you know I guess…

With Vergil's enhancement finally gone, Dante dispelled his clone and started approaching the stunned Vergil. With Beowulf still in hand, Dante started delivering numerous kicks and punches towards Vergil. With all of his strength, Dante started charging up a small ball of light and threw it towards Vergil, executing Zodiac while launching Vergil back even more.

Recovering from the attack, Vergil stood up and pulled one last Gravity Dust Crystal and one last Fire Dust Crystal. Crushing them like usual and absorbing their essences, Vergil transformed into his Devil Trigger form once more.

"THIS MAY BE FUN!" Vergil said while holding onto Yamato.

Dashing towards Dante, Vergil swung Yamato straight towards his gut, causing Dante to gasp for some breath while waiting for the wound to heal off. Vergil then pulled out Force Edge and started slashing Dante numerous times with it. After a few slashes, Vergil used High Time to launch Dante into the air while following him. Quickly pulling out Beowulf, Vergil started dive kicking in with Starfall. Like Dante, Vergil started jump-cancelling off of him and continued his barrage of Starfalls until finally landing back on the ground. With both of them standing still, Vergil pulled out Force Edge again and dashed in with Stinger, pushing Dante back a few feet.

Standing back up, Dante gripped onto Rebellion, activated Devil Trigger, and started running towards Vergil while dragging his sword on the ground.

In a similar fashion, Vergil gripped onto Yamato and started running towards Dante.

Near each other, Dante and Vergil started clashing weapons, similar to what they did back on top of Temen-Ni-Gru

"THIS IS QUITE FAMILIAR…" Dante exclaimed.

Showing no response, Vergil continued pushing Yamato towards his brother. On the other hand, Dante did the exact same thing with Rebellion. So much so that the middle of each of their blades started heating up due to how much tension was going on.

Dante remembered what happened the last time this happened. If he wanted to prevent this, he had to really put it all in. And he did. Dante actually saw Vergil struggling to fight back, as seen when both of his arms started shaking back a bit.

"COME ON! IS THIS ALL YOU GOT?" Dante said.

While Dante was too busy pushing downwards, Vergil pulled out a Fire Dust Crystal out of his pocket and dropped it on the floor. Still struggling, Vergil moved one of his feet forward and proceeded to crush the Fire Dust Crystal. But instead of actually absorbing its essence, Vergil immediately pulled Yamato out of the way and made a spark by dragging it on the ground. This one spark, plus the Fire Dust in the air, caused a small explosion that pushed both Vergil and Dante away. Vergil was able to teleport out of the blast radius, although Dante wasn't, causing him to be slightly damaged from it.

Recovering from the attack, Dante just looked up to see where Vergil was at. But instead, Dante just saw Yamato go through his chest. Dante turned around, only to see Vergil holding onto the chain of Dante's amulet. Pulling Yamato out of Dante's chest, Vergil just pushed Dante back towards the ground.

Because of how much damage he received during that fight, Dante deactivated Devil Trigger and started bleeding out for a moment. Deactivating Devil Trigger as well, Vergil just walked towards the limp Dante.

"Don't expect this to be like last time…" Vergil muttered.

Picking up Rebellion, Vergil used it to impale his chest, causing even more blood to bleed out of Dante's chest.

With nothing else to do, Vergil just pocketed Dante's amulet and started leaving the warehouse district. Meanwhile, Dante was just bleeding on the floor with Rebellion in his chest. He tried moving, but to no avail.

Before he lost consciousness, Dante just saw a crow flying towards him. What Dante wasn't expecting was the crow to turn into a person. In this case, Qrow.

"Don't worry. I got you." Qrow said while pulling Rebellion out of Dante's chest. "Now, let's bring you to a–"

"I don't need medical attention." Dante said while getting up. "I could brush it off…"

"Jesus…" Qrow mumbled while being a bit shocked. "I thought you were a goner for a moment."

"I'm a half-demon remember? I could just brush it off…" Dante said while feeling his chest. "It just needs time…"

"Lucky you." Qrow said. "But still, you took quite a beating there."

"Why didn't you help me then!?" Dante asked.

"Hey, I just came here." Qrow said. "I just saw you with a sword in your chest and decided to help you out."

Saying this, Qrow just stood up and turned away from Dante.

"A thank you would be appreciated…" Qrow said.

"...Whatever…" Dante scoffed. "Look, let's just head back to my store and tell Ironwood what happened."

"I was thinking the same." Qrow said while walking away from Qrow.

Emerald's POV

Vale - Warehouse District

7:00 PM

Thanks to Neo's illusions, Emerald and the others were able to flee to another warehouse in Vale. But even then, they were still shocked at what happened just now.

"Neo, you saw that didn't you?" Emerald asked Neo, who just nodded as a response. "God, to think that there's two of them."

Hearing this, Neo just pulled up a sign.

"Should we do something?"

"What? No!" Emerald exclaimed. "The last thing I want to do is get myself killed. Right now, let's just focus on what we were doing before."

Neo pulled out another sign just as Emerald was done talking.

"Should we contact Adam?"

"Maybe." Emerald said. "But after today, I highly doubt that he would give us anymore soldiers."

Shrugging a bit, Neo pulled out a first aid kit and started walking towards Roman. On the other hand, Emerald turned towards Cinder, who was just seen lying unconscious on the floor.

"Maybe Watts could help with this…" Emerald thought.

And that's the end of this chapter. Now, I'm going to focus on my other fanfiction "Final Fantasy: A Brave Remnant". So don't expect a new chapter in a few days.

DemonHunterofDBS:
I will say this only once:
No.
I will not do a story that I don't like writing. That just ruins it for me.
Don't get me wrong. I don't hate Dragon Ball Super. But I hate writing about it due to how stupid overpowered the characters are, which is why I stopped watching it after that Kefla crap.

I looked into Cocotte and I immediately thought...no. Shipping like that is so weird. I would not do it. Ever.

Also I hate doing romance fanfictions. Not because I find them cringey, but because I can't write that kind of stuff.

Another thing to note is the power consistency. I'm sorry, Goku and Vegeta are way too powerful for Dante. Not only are they stronger and faster, but they have faced way bigger threats than him. So no again.

Finally, you put so much detail into it, how the hell am I going to have fun writing this. It's so forced that I can't even do anything unique out of it.

So in short. No. I will not be writing this fanfiction.

Sorry.

It's safe to say he did.

-Yup. He's dead. For good this time.
Besides, he didn't really make that big of a difference to the plot, so it's safe for him to be killed off.

Oh...Shit...sorry about that.

-It doesn't seem OOC in my perspective. Honestly, they only activate Devil Trigger just to get shit over with. But I will probably remember that in the future.

-Thanks dood.

-Same.

-Yes. Yamato could cut through anything.
-Yes. Beowulf can probably strike harder.
BUT that doesn't excuse the fact that Vergil had no means of fending off Sephiroth's attacks.
Supernova. Heartless Angel. Both of these attacks can basically weaken Vergil severely and he could just finish him off with a single sword swing.

Besides, even if Sephiroth gets injured, he could always heal with Restore Materia, which he mastered by the way.

Sure, there's the argument that Sephiroth can only use those things in Safer form, but Kingdom Hearts and Dissidia say otherwise.

Justinping:
Thanks. That's quite a comparison right there.

No. He won't be in it.
Maybe.
