Here it is ladies and gents; the final conclusion to my epic Crash Saga. Damn I can't believe I have been working on this series for over a year now and am finally wrapping it up. Where has the time gone? Anyway Thanks for all the reviews and let's get this puppy wrapped up shall we.
Chase climbed into Oxide's ship and started searching frantically for him. Chase was surprised with how big the ship was. It had three decks and multiple rooms. It was almost like a flying house. Chase would have been impressed if he wasn't so angry.
"You're way over your head this time kiddo." Chase heard Oxide say. Oxide turned around and saw Oxide standing off in the distance. "You're in my playing field now."
"This ends now" Chase growled out.
"Now that I will agree on" Oxide said "This does end now. But the one it ends for is you." Then robotic arms came out with black armor and placed it on Oxide covering every part of him but his face. Oxide then pulled out a sword out from his armor and started swinging it. Oxide lunged after Chase before Chase pulled out a sword of his on and blocked Oxide's strike.
"I don't know how your father came back kid. But this time around when I kill you, I'm going to make sure you stay dead." Chase kicked Oxide in the gut knocking him back a few feet.
"I don't think so." Chase said. Then they started clashing swords again moving from hall after hall. Chase looked up and he saw a second deck that might help give him an advantage. Chase leaped up in the air grabbed on to a metal pole hanging from the ceiling and swung and landed on the second deck of the ship. Oxide took out a blaster to try to shoot Oxide down but Chase just started running away from him.
"Hold still so I can blast you, you little vermin." Chase turned around and pulled out a grenade and threw it at Oxide. Oxide had to leap out of the way as the grenade exploded and destroyed one of the engines of the ship. The ship then started tilting at an angle as the engine caught fire and exploded. The explosion and tilt of the ship caused Chase to fall off the second deck and land on the ground hard. Oxide ran up to him and grabbed him by the neck and hoisted him in the air.
"You no good, little idiot this ship can't run on just one engine! You're going to crash us and kill us both!" Oxide cried out as he heard another explosion and felt the ship starting to lose a little bit of altitude.
"At least I am taking you out with me." Chase said
"Why you no good little…" Oxide started to say as he pulled out a knife ready to slit Chase's throat when he heard a voice come from behind.
"Don't you ever pull a knife on my son" The voice said. It was Crash's spirit again and he was mad. He grabbed Oxide's hand that held the knife and threw Oxide across the wall.
"Dad" Chase called out.
"I'm hear son!" Crash said. "Oxide looked up and saw Crash walking toward him with an intimidating look on his face.
"But how?" Oxide said in fear. Crash picked Oxide up by the neck and smashed him against the wall before throwing him down on the ground.
"I don't know how you came back!" Oxide said "But I'm going to make sure you never leave again!" Oxide said taking out his sword and swinging it at Crash only to see it go right threw him unaffected.
"What the…?" Oxide said right before Crash grabbed him and threw him across the wall. Chase ran up and picked up his sword to make sure he wouldn't use it again.
"No! It can't be!" Oxide yelled out again taking out his blaster and firing it at Crash. The shots once again went right through Crash like a ghost. Oxide stood up and started trying to run off.
"I will not be beaten by a ghost! I will not be beaten by a ghost!" Oxide screamed
"You won't be." Chase said grabbing him and throwing him against the wall and stabbing him with his own sword.
"You're going to be beaten by me!" Chase said. Oxide fell to the ground bleeding out. He was not going to get up again. Chase heard another explosion in the ship and knew the ship was about to erupt.
"You need to get out of here." Crash said walking up to him. "I'll stay behind and make sure Oxide doesn't escape."
"But father…" Chase started to protest.
"The explosion won't affect me. I'm already dead, but you need to get out of here."
"Thanks father." Chase said "For everything." Then Chase started running toward the exit of the ship as Crash picked Oxide up by the neck and held him high in the air.
"Why did you come back?" Oxide said, his voice draining.
"I came back to send you to hell." Crash said as he stared straight in Oxide's eyes and his own eyes started getting black and started draing Oxides soul out of his body. Oxide screamed as he felt his soul getting ripped out of him and drug to hell and his eyes quickly went black and Crash dropped him onto the ground cold and lifeless. It was over, Oxide was dead.
Chase ran to the escape hatchet and tried to open it but it was not opening. He tried shaking and pulling it as hard as he could but to no avail would it open. He heard another explosion on the ship and knew it wouldn't be long before the whole ship blew up. It was then that Crash walked up to him and smashed it open with his fist.
"How'd you do that?" Chase asked
"When you're dead you know no limits in strength, now go."
"But there's no parachute dad, and I can't survive a fall this high."
"There's somebody that will catch you trust me, now go." Crash said. Chase then took a deep breath and put his faith in his father and he jumped out of the ship and to his surprise Coco flew up in a ship of her own and caught him.
"I'm not losing another family member." Coco said grabbing his hand and dragging him inside her ship."
"Your timing couldn't have been any better." Chase said. As they were flying away Chase looked back around to Oxide's ship and saw Crash waving him goodbye as the ship blew up. A tear couldn't help but run down his cheek as he knew that the battle was over and that he got to see his father one last time.
It wasn't long before the ship landed back in Australia. The team had defeated the aliens on land and where now just waiting for Chase to return. Coco and Chase where greeted by the rest of the team and Penny ran up to Chase as soon as he exited the ship and kissed him. Penny was wearing a new shirt now because her last one got tore up in her battle with Galaxar.
"How'd it go?" Crunch asked Chase. "It's over. Oxide is dead. The world is saved."
"You did good kid" Crystal said. "Your father would be proud of you."
"Trust me I am." Crash's voice said from behind. The team turned around and saw Crash's spirit standing in front of them.
"Crash?" Liz gasped.
"How the hell?" Richard said.
"Father." Chase called up walking up to him.
"You don't think I would leave this earth without saying goodbye to you did you."
"You don't have to leave father. You could still stay here on earth as a spirit. You could be like Aku." Crash smiled and put his hands on Chase's shoulders.
"My mission here on Earth is complete my son. And now a new era begins with you as the Earth's savior. Trust me you will keep it in safe from all evil."
"I will my father." Chase said.
"Goodbye my son." Then Crash turned to the rest of the team. "Goodbye my friends I love you all." Aku then floated up to Crash.
"Ok Aku, lead me to the heavens." Then Aku and Crash soared up into the sky as the team watched on until they were completely out of sight.
"Man I saw it but I still don't believe it." Crunch said in shock.
"Truly Crash was Earth's biggest savior." Timmons said.
"So tell me Chase. What do we do now?" Crystal said
"Continue his legacy; make sure his legend never dies."
Crystal just smiled. "You truly are the Son of Crash."
Chase and the others made sure that Crash's legend never died and they continued to fight for truth and justice the way that Crash would have wanted them to, with Chase as the new leader and his girlfriend Penny and Aunt Coco right by his side. Together they made sure a threat like Oxide's never happened again and Earth could finally live the rest of its days in peace thanks to Chase, the son of Crash.
