So, I keep doing this a lot, but I've had a lot of stuff come up lately. Unfortunately, we've had some family tragedies and stuff come up. Big stuff to come back from. I'm back though! I've been reading fanfictions and missed mine so I've returned to finish it. Enjoy!

"Korra, honey, please!" Senna shouted from the other side of the door.

After Mako told everyone Korra was awake her parents made way to her room immediately. There was only one problem, Korra wasn't ready to see them yet.

"Korra, we just want to talk," Tonraq knew his daughter must be furious at them both but she needed to understand.

Mako listened to their pleas as he watched Korra just dig her face into her hands out of frustration. In a way he understood both sides. Korra was kept from a very important part of her life, a very important part of HER. Her parents only did it to keep her from being taken away and locked up.

Mako stood up but before he could take one step he was pulled back down.

"Stay," it wasn't a question, it was a command.

"Just let me talk with them for a minute," she nodded but hesitated in letting go.

When he opened the door her parents had just turned their backs. He made sure to close the door all the way before speaking.

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously," Sorry... I know it's not my place to say anything but, I think she just needs time to process everything, you know. She just found out she's the missing Avatar and everything. You've got to see it from her point of view, that's a lot to take in all at once. I know you guys were just trying to protect her but, she just needs a little time before talking to you guys."

Senna and Tonraq looked at each other, upset that they would have to wait a little longer to talk to Korra. Tonraq gave him a small smile and placed a hand on his shoulders," We understand. Thank you. It's good to know she has good friends watching over her. Come on, Senna."

Just as they were walking away Bolin slowly approached his older brother.

"Do you think Korra will let me see her?"

"Let's find out," Mako entered the room once more, Bolin following behind him, "Korra, someone else is here to see you."

She peered up to see Bolin peeking out from behind Mako. His hesitance to approach her made her smile a little, "You can come in, Bolin."

The brothers took a seat at her bedside and sat there in silence. Bolin decided to speak up," So, how are you feeling?"

"Pretty good. I feel a little sore but other than that I'd say I'm ok."

"Good, good," he casually rubbed his chin and stared at her for a minute before asking his next question," How's it feel knowing you're the missing Avatar?"

Korra's face fell and looked away from the both of them. Mako jabbed Bolin in the side, "What? Too soon?"

"No, no, it's fine. It's just... I'm the Avatar. The Avatar has all these responsibilities and I don't even know how to bend all for elements yet. It's a lot of pressure."

"Well, hey, look on the bright side! You've got me and Mako! Plus Uncle Narook, Emma, and your parents! You're not in this alone!" Bolin said trying to cheer her up.

She gave him a half smile but it quickly faded away," Problem. Amon."

"Oh, right, I forgot about him," Bolin rubbed the spots where Amon's goons electrocuted him.

Korra flopped onto the bed and growled in frustration," This is too much! Maybe if my parents had told me about this earlier I could of been more prepared!"

"Maybe you should talk to them. Give them a chance to explain everything," he suggested. He knew she was mad at them, but they had to talk sooner or later.

"Yeah, later when I get things figured out," she sat back up and looked out the window. If only the answer was so simple," So, what now? "

Mako had been a little too quiet as they conversed. Bolin took a glance at him. He was leaned back in the chair with his eyes closed. Was he asleep? He slowly tried to poke him the face but his hand was soon smacked away," I'm not asleep, Bo." Bolin glared at him and rubbed his hand.

Mako sat up straight in his chair. He thought back to the stories his parents and his Uncle Narook would tell him about Avatar Aang. He had many obstacles to face one being having to bend the other elements. He sought help from some of the best benders and his friends. With all his practice and hard work he was able to defeat Fire Lord Ozai," We do what Avatar Aang did."

Both Korra and Bolin gave him a puzzled look," Aang did a lot of stuff, bro. What stuff are you talking about?"

"He was already pretty good with his element, but had to learn to bend the rest of the elements, right? He traveled around a lot to find master benders to teach him."

"Bro, I don't think we have that much time nor money to be traveling around everywhere."

"We don't need to. We don't even need to leave Republic City. Don't you remember his friends helped him too? Katara was a waterbender, Toph was an earthbender, and Zuko was a firebender," Korra's face lit up," I can help her with her firebending and Bolin, you can help her with her earthbending."

Bolin punched his fist into the air," Oh, yeah, Master Bolin in the house!"

"But, what about my airbending?"

"I think I know someone who can help with that," all three heads looked up to see a very unexpected visitor by the door.

Bolin's hands flew to his face," No. Way!"

"Um, hi?"

Gah! I know I'm such a horrible person for not updating in forever and then stopping the chapter so short! Don't worry the next chapter should be up pretty soon. If not tomorrow maybe Monday. I work all weekend .-. I do feel like my writing is becoming sloppy so any constructive criticism is welcomed or just bounce off your ideas. Who knows you could see it come up in the story ;) Again sorry for the wait but please review and enjoy the rest of your day.
