Naruto, Hinata, and Harry found themselves back in the first room with the destroyed plant.
"We're back in the first room" said Harry looking around
"That's good" said Naruto
They ran up the shaft only to hear growling coming from the trapdoor.
"Sounds like Fluffy is awake" said Harry
"Check it Hinata" he said
Hinata looked through the trapdoor with her Byakugan and saw that Fluffy really was awake.
"He is awake" said Hinata
"I will take care of this" said Naruto
He surrounded himself in Kurama's chakra and shot through the trapdoor. He growled at Fluffy causing him to back up and allowing Harry and Hinata to go through the trapdoor and all three left the room.
The next day the three of them were called to Professor Dumbledore's office. They walked into his office and saw Dumbledore sitting behind his desk.
"You wanted to see us sir" asked Harry
"Yes" said Dumbledore nodding his head
"Please have a seat" he said
The three of them sat down as Dumbledore said "I saw what happened to the mirror"
"Sorry about that" said Naruto sheepishly scratching the back of his head
"That is quite alright" said Dumbledore
"The stone was a fake anyways" he said with a wave of his hands
"Why was something like that here anyways with such easy protections" asked Harry
"I was hoping to trap Voldemort so I could find out how he survived that night and find a way to make him pass on" said Dumbledore
"So that was Voldemort" said Naruto
"I destroyed it with Kurama's chakra" he said
"What did he look like" asked Dumbledore
"It looked like black smoke rising out of Quirrell's body forming an ugly face" said Naruto
"So he was reduced to some form of spirit then" said Dumbledore
"Does this means he is gone for good" asked Harry
"I do not know" said Dumbledore
"Until I can figure out how he survived that night, we have to stay on our guard for his return" he said
"How were we supposed to get the stone out of the mirror" asked Hinata
"Only someone who wanted to find the stone but not use the stone would have been able to get the stone out" said Dumbledore
"So there was really no trap there after all" said Harry
"It was Voldemort's own greed and desire that kept him there" he said
"Yes" said Dumbledore nodding his head
Once they got back to the Gryffindor common room, Hermione asked "What did Professor Dumbledore want"
"He wanted to know how we protected the stone from Quirrell" said Harry
"So it really was Quirrell after all" asked Ron
"Yes" said Harry nodding his head
At the end of the year, Gryffindor won both the Quidditch and House cups.
When the students arrived at Kings Cross station, Naruto, Hinata, and Harry saw only James was there.
"Mom didn't come with you" asked Harry walking up to him
"No" said James shaking his head
"We are supposed to be coming home from our 'trip', so she decided to stay at home" he said
Once they left Kings Cross station and were out of sight, Yuki and Hoshi flamed them to just outside of Konoha. They then walked through the gates and went to the Hokage's office.
"Team James reporting in" said James walking into the Hokage's office
"Give me your report" said Sarutobi
Harry stepped forward and reported on everything that happened during their first year at Hogwarts. Once he was done he stepped back joining Naruto and Hinata.
Sarutobi thought about it for a moment before saying "I will credit you for completing a C-Rank mission and a B-Rank mission"
"Thank you Hokage-sama" said Hinata bowing
"Your class has recently graduated and were given their team assignments" said Sarutobi
"You will be joining them on C-Rank missions when they are ready" he said
"Dismissed" he said
Hinata went home and was immediately taken to her father's office.
"You are back from your training trip" said Hiashi
"Yes father" said Hinata
"Report" ordered Hiashi
"Our team completed a C-Rank mission and a B-Rank mission during our trip" said Hinata
"Your teammates probably did everything" said Hiashi
Hinata started inwardly growling at that.
"I am the one that killed the two trolls and Quirrell" thought Hinata
"I also helped by providing reconnaissance" she thought
"Let's go see if you actually learned anything" said Hiashi
He left his office with Hinata following behind him and went to the training area. Hanabi was already waiting there when they arrived.
"You are to have a spar with Hanabi to see if you have learned anything" said Hiashi
"Yes father" said Hinata and Hanabi
They both settled into their stances and started sparring. Just as they planned, their spar ended in a draw.
"I guess it wasn't a complete waste of time after all" said Hiashi
"You are now equal to someone two years your junior" he scoffed as he left
Hinata looked down while Hanabi growled. Hinata then took Hanabi back to her room. Once inside, Hanabi asked "How could he say that after what you did"
"I only told him that my team completed a C-Rank mission and a B-Rank mission" said Hinata
"He thinks that Naruto-kun and Harry did everything" she said looking down
"But you were the one who took out those creatures and killed that nuke-nin" said Hanabi
"I know" said Hinata
"But it doesn't matter" she said looking up
"As long as those that I care about know the truth, I'm fine" she said hugging Hanabi
Hanabi smiled as she returned it.
Naruto walked into his empty apartment and sighed.
"The fall can't come quick enough" thought Naruto
"Hopefully we can get some missions that will allow us to leave the village" he thought
James and Harry were walking through the Uchiha clan compound on their way home when Harry saw Sasuke training with Itachi.
"I heard you're finally a Genin Sasuke" called out Harry
Sasuke turned around saw Harry and James standing there.
"I am" said Sasuke nodding his head
"But I got the worst possible teammates" he said
"What is the matter with them" asked James
"One of them is my biggest fan girl and the other is a civilian that thinks he is invincible and can do anything now that he is a shinobi" said Sasuke
"I'm sure once you get a 'real' mission they will get better" said James
"You sure are lucky Harry that you don't have to do those chores disguised as missions" said Sasuke
"They're tradition Sasuke" said Itachi
"Every Genin have to do them" he said
"Besides them" grumbled Sasuke
Itachi continued to train Sasuke while James and Harry continued on their way home where Lily was waiting for them. Once there, Lily hugged and kissed Harry before he went up to his room.
A few weeks later James was smiling proudly seeing a blonde nine tailed kitsune, an indigo eight tailed kitsune, and a phoenix in the place of Naruto, Hinata, and Harry.
"Congratulations on finally completing the Animagus transformation" said James
"Now you just need to work on doing the transformation faster and faster until you do it instantaneously" he said
The next day Team James was called to the Hokage's office. When they arrived they saw Team Seven was already there with an old man with a sake bottle.
"You wanted to see us Hokage-sama" said James
"Yes" said Sarutobi nodding his head
"You are to join Team Seven on their mission to escort the bridge builder Tazuna back to Nami no Kuni" he said
"We don't need them" said Hiro crossing his arms over his chest
"Yeah, Sasuke-kun could do it all by himself" cheered Sakura pumping her fist in the air
"I see what you mean Sasuke" said Harry
"You have my sympathy" he said
"Thanks" said Sasuke
"Team James has experience outside the village that you will need on this mission" said Sarutobi
"Dismissed" he said
"Meet at the gate in one hour with gear for a long term mission" said Kakashi
The Genin nodded as they left along with the client leaving only Kakashi and James with the Hokage.
"Why are you sending two teams on a C-Rank mission" asked Kakashi
"Because I believe that this is not a real C-Rank mission" said Sarutobi
"We have learned that Gato has bought out all the docks and shipping companies of Nami no Kuni" he said
"With Nami no Kuni being an island country, he is in control now" said Kakashi
"Tazuna must be building a bridge and is worried that Gato is going to send someone to kill him and destroy the bridge" said James
"But they don't have enough money for a higher ranked mission" he added
"That is correct" said Sarutobi nodding his head
"That is why I am sending your two teams" he said
"You are one of our best Jonin Kakashi and should be able to handle whoever Gato sends" he said
"While James' special skills and those he taught his team would be a big help on this mission" he said
"I trust you know what I want you to do" he asked
"Yes Hokage-sama" said Kakashi and James bowing
They then left the Hokage's office to go get ready.
They arrived at Konoha's gates some time later and saw their teams were already there with the client.
"Let's go" said Kakashi
They all went through the village gates and were on their way to Nami no Kuni.
