Harry Potter and the Dinomagi Chapter 12
On they continued towards their final destination where they could call for help and get off the island. However Harry was unaware of the plan between the six young women which would decide the course of the future. However all had no idea that Fate herself was about too get involved in all of their future's and bring about a new age in the Wizarding World.
After a few hours they finally came to a compound of some sort and like the last building, it looked like the forest was taking it back. They entered by the front gate and followed Harry around the edge so as to keep a look out. It was a slow progress, but they managed too get to the steps before quickly going up at the very edge and looking through the doorway. Heading inside they found it was empty and looking back they found nothing outside either. Harry quickly rushed the young women inside before following and heading straight to another door.
Looking inside he again found nothing and again rushed the young women inside. He then followed and closed the door, thankful that it didn't squeak. He then started too move the vegetation away from the consoles until he found the radio he was looking for.
Hermione was keeping a close eye on Harry for when he found the radio so she could shoot it. She knew that it would attract attention from unwelcome animals. However she felt that all these women should have a chance too know their Soul Mate before deciding too give him up for good. However when Harry finally found the radio she found that she couldn't shoot it as it was already damaged well beyond working functionality.
"Great. Sorry ladies but the radio is completely fried. It's going too take a couple of weeks too get it fixed I'm afraid." Harry said as he unplugged it. "So it looks like you're stuck with me as the only male company on this godforsaken Island."
With that he walked over to what looked like a set of drawers and started searching through them. After a few minutes he found what he was looking for and started sorting everything out until.
"Katie could you come here for a couple of seconds please."
"Yeah sure. What is it Harry?" She asked as she walked over to him before standing next to him.
"Can you turn around so I can put this stuff in your pack? We'll need it in order too repair the busted up radio." Harry replied looking up and putting the last handful of wires down with the rest of the stuff.
Katie turned around and Harry opened the bag on her back and placed the parts he needed into it. When he was done he picked up the radio and put that in the bag as well. When done he knew that there wasn't anything else so he walked back to the door and before opening it he turned back to the young women.
"Right since that's it we need too get out of here and make our way to where we need. It's pointless staying here as this would be good hunting grounds for Raptors so we will rest at the next building. So if you're ready then let's go and pray that we don't have anything after us while we're out in the open."
With that Harry opened the door and pointed his gun out before opening it further and looking out. He quickly stepped out and moved to the side closet to the exit and gave a hand signal to the rest. Tonks was the next one out and as she looked around, she moved to the other side of the door. Then the rest came out the same way and joined Tonks which Harry was glad too see that they had learned something from him. When the coast was clear Harry lead them to the main door with Tonks bring up the rear. Harry looked out at the complex that he could see and saw nothing so quickly stuck his head out for a better look and still saw nothing. Harry then led the women out and around the edge of the complex until they got to the gate and finally left into the jungle once more.
They moved away from the complex as quickly as they could without attracting attention from any carnivores. They made their way deeper into the jungle heading for their backup plan which was pointed out by Harry. So for the next few hours all seven made their way through the jungle, listening for anything dangerous nearby.
"Harry how long till we get where we are going?" Hermione asked her best friend.
"Not long Hermione, so please try not too complain about it. Remember don't waste your energy as you may need it later and if you use it now you won't have it when you need it. Which is why we're going at the pace we are, it will keep us loose and warmed up without using too much energy. So just relax Hermione and enjoy a nice stroll and we'll be there in the next couple of hours." Harry replied to Hermione's question even though everybody was listening.
So for the next hour they walked further into the jungle not knowing that something was about too happen.
