Thalia: Guys? Urgh. Oh, I know! Percy? I have blue cookies!
Percy: *jumping out the cupboard* What? Where?
Thalia: *laughing* Nowhere. Hm... Annabeth? I have your Yankees cap. It's mysteriously close to an open flame.
Annabeth: *jumping out of the same cupboard* What?!
Thalia: *laughing* Nothing. Now for myotp and Nico... Nico? I have your Mythomagic cards. They're dangerously close to a fire!
Nico: *silence*
Thalia: Nico?
Nico: *silence*
Thalia: Huh. myotp? I have the rights to this! I'm gonna give them to Rick Riordan! *mumbling* Even though they're actually his, in the first place.
Me: *silence*
Thalia: myotp?
Me: *silence*
Thalia: *to Percabeth* Guys, check everywhere. We need to find these two.
*after five minutes*
Percy: *coughing* Found them.
Me, Nico: *on rafters, kissing*
Thalia: Ew. Just... ew.
Annabeth: Aw! I knew this would happen! Wait, Nico, I thought you were gay?
Nico: Nope. I'm bisexual, and I love myotp.
Me: *makes a 'meep' sound of happiness*

We got back home and Percy went straight in, yelling "Guys, I'm home! Thals, guess what I bought?"
Thalia came jumping down the stairs, excited beyond belief. "Subscripts?" Percy nodded. "Sweet!" She fist-pumped the air. "Arty's just started cooking, so you go off and swim. Annabeth and I need to talk." She ordered. Percy grinned at her and nodded.
"See ya, Annie." He threw at me as he turned to leave. I blushed and Thalia froze.
"Wait. Perce? She lets you call her 'Annie'?" She sounded so flabbergasted, I nearly burst out laughing.
"Um... yeah. I guess so. Why?"
"She doesn't let anyone call her that. Not even us."
"Well, maybe I'm a special exception." He winked before leaving.

Thalia looked at me before dragging me to Katie's room. "I don't think you've adapted enough to sit in my room for a prolonged period of time." She said by way of explanation. As soon as we (Thalia, Katie and me) had sat down, she said, "Spill." And so I did.

"Ohmigod, Annabeth! You totally like him!" Thalia whisper-yelled.
"Shut up! I don't!" I denied. Katie and Thalia stared at me, disbelievingly. "Okay, fine. Maybe a little."
"Eek!" Katie squealed. She turned to Thalia. "Should we take her to Dite?"
"No. This is our mission. We love him most." Thalia answered, in a determined tone.
We eventually started moving away from Percy and talked more about Luke.

We heard a loud, harsh knock on the door. "Dinner's ready." An unfamiliar voice called.
Thalia rolled her eyes. "'Kay. Thanks, Trout."
"Shut up, Lightning Head." The voice answered, harshly.
Katie sighed. "Thanks, Triton. Tell Artemis that we'll be down in a second."
"Okay, Katie." We heard him walk away.
"That is so not fair. He's so mean to me and nice to you."
"You just have to be nice to him, Thals. It makes sense." Katie rolled her eyes.

I looked at my plate. Venison, pork and all sorts of meat. Barely any vegetables.
Percy dug in. "Nice hunt, Arty. When?"
"Literally the day you arrived was when I got back." I must've looked confused, because she clarified. "From my hunting trip."
"Arty hunts animals in certain areas." Katie leaned towards me. "There's no way she's risking jail for hunting, no matter how much she loves the sport."
"I heard that." Artemis said.
"I know." Katie replied, stuffing some pork in her mouth.

After dinner, Thalia pulled Percy aside and started whispering to him. Percy paled, but nodded all the same. In a normal voice, he said, "If it makes you happy, Thals, you do it." She smiled and he ruffled her hair, forcing a smile, before walking past me to the elevator.
"What did you ask him?" I asked. "He went a bit pale."
"I asked him if I could tell you the tiny mistake that one girl made to ruin the chances of a relationship with Perce."
"Oh." I couldn't think of anything else to say.
"Yeah. Um... let's take this to Katie's room." She herded both of us to the elevator and we entered Katie's room. "Okay, so the girl was called Rachel Dare, 'kay? She was really pretty and she seemed to be doing so well with him. She finally succeeded in making Percy love her, but when he went over to officially ask her to be his girlfriend, she got cocky. She told him that she knew that that was going to happen, that in the future he'd love her more than he loves his family and, what clinched it, more than he loves me." Thalia indicated herself. "Now, if there is one person in this family that Percy loves, it would be me. He puts my happiness before our family's which is before his own. That's why he let me tell you. Because he hates me being unhappy." Katie nodded in agreement. She didn't even look jealous. "So, when Rachel told him that he'd end up loving her more than me, he completely changed his mind and went there to officially cut off any ties." Thalia had tears streaking down her face, mascara and eye-liner running. "When he came home, the first thing he did was say that I'd always be his Number One girl, no matter who he ended up dating."
Katie comforted Thalia as she cried. Katie looked at me and I nodded. I rose and left to my room. The last thing I heard was Katie consoling Thalia by saying, "It's alright, Thalia. Rachel left and Percy's better now. He doesn't have depression anymore, right?"

What? I thought. Not possible. There could be loads of Rachel Dares in the world.
The thing was, I knew Rachel Dare, a.k.a. Red.
How? I hear you ask?
She was my cousin.
