She wasn't happy at all.
Eddy and Kevin had watched as cyan's mom and went BALISTIC when her son was brought back from school unconscious by one of his old 'friends'
The shouting had lasted around three minutes before his dad had come out and sent them away quite calmly.
"Would you guys like some tea?" Edd asked offhandedly as they made their way to his house "or maybe some cake?"
Kevin at this point laced his hands with Edd's knowing that he only ever offered confections to keep up a masquerade that he was ok and everything was fine.
"No thanks" eddy said firmly "I want to know what the hell is up with you and these new kids!"
Edd sighed, "we used to go to some para-juvie sorta place together" he said in his relaxed informal tone "Ed knows, by the way. I told him to keep his mouth shut though"
"Ed knows?!" eddy and Kevin exclaimed in disbelief
"he was the first to find out" Edd said simply unlocking his door and entering his house "you guys can stay around an hour before they come"
"Who's they?" eddy asked looking at Kevin who shrugged and in turn looked at Edd in confusion
"cyan's parents aren't going to let this go" Edd said "I could get a prohibition collar for attacking him but he'll probably get one too" the teenager then gave a dark chuckle "it's going to tell everyone just who I am"
"You mean they're going to out one of those metal beepy collar things on you?" Kevin asked incredulously and Edd nodded, he remembered his dad explaining that that was what all the bad kids had to wear if they didn't behave after they were let out from the Lilith compound.
"probably next week so I won't be in school a while" he stated going to sit on his couch, before the teenager cud sit down there was an angry knocking at the door.
Edd frowned
"That was fast" he said going to the door and opening it. Suddenly two police officers charged in and roughly pinned Edd to the ground "Americans" Edd groaned from the floor
"Hey!" eddy exclaimed "wha'cha think you're doing?!"
"Dad?" Kevin cut into the chaos that seemed to slow everything down
"kevim, what are you doing here?" his father said looking up from the teenager he was currently handcuffing "shouldn't you be in school?"
"There was a fight and thing happened..." he said slowly
"Well, get out of here. You have know idea who this kid actually is " he said as he and his partner hauled Edd off the ground and started to take him to the police car
"Make sure you water my plants Ed!" eddy shouted "and lock my front door!"
Kevin watched as his father shoved his friend into his police car like a common criminal
"get back to school Kevin-now" his father said in a very harsh tone before getting into his car and driving away
Kevin looked at Edd who stared at the car drive off before walking back into the house
"What are you doing?" Kevin asked
"Watering his petunias" Edd said, "he's really serious about his plants" the teenager shrugged.

Kevin sat quietly at the dinner table not even glancing at his father
'Is it true?' Sarah had asked Kevin as he walked down the corridor 'is Edd like, just outta some weird foreign juvie?'
He knew that it was ian telling people because the bastard was avoiding him entirely.
"Ok, what's going on between you two?" his mother asked putting her hands on her hips and looking from Kevin to his father
"I arrested his little friend," his father said quite seriously "he was a boy who was still under the Lilith compounds watch and—"
"Boyfriend" Kevin corrected, it wasn't a lie but it wasn't the truth either. "Edd was my boyfriend" the revelation had made his father go a ghostly white
"You're gay?" he questioned with horror
"Bi, but whatever" Kevin corrected before asking his mother to pass the salt. She already knew about his sexual orientation
"Get up" his father said angrily "go to your room and think about what you just said!"
"fuck you" Kevin and his mother both chimed in at the same time which only served to infuriate Kevin's father, he hated it when his wife would 'tag team' with his son because it meant his opinion was null and void.
"I heard that their going to put an obedience collar on him" Kevin said "Is that even legal?"
"it is, as long as it doesn't do anything inhumane like shock him" his mother explained, she was a lawyer and ex-human rights activist "I promise your friend will be fine" she smiled
"Cyan's fuucktard brother has been going around telling people about the Lilith compound and that Edd used to be there"
"Talk to the principal" his mother said immediately "it probably won't stop him entirely but he'll get a punishment that will make you feel better" she smiled
Kevin then got up
"I'm gonna go visit Edd in jail" he stated, "I'll probably be back late"
"You're just going to let him leave the table?" his father questioned in an infuriated tone
Kevin didn't stick around for the following argument and was out of the front door before anyone could stop him.
Things were getting rough for Edd and he needed to be there for him.
