A/N:I am very sorry about how I had to end this, I was playing on a hard copy, and I lost the cartridge I was playing on. I will be starting another run, however. It will be the hack sacred gold, which amps up the difficulty to a ridiculous level.

Chapter 12
After fighting a few trainers on the route east of Mahogany Town, I ran across the ice cave. A few moments in, a Swinub attacked. After catching it, I moved on. As I slid across ice for a while, I found an HM for Waterfall. 'This will be a good replacement for surf on Tori.' I thought, as I continued on. I helped Kimono Girl Sayo get off the ice that she was frozen to, shaking my head, before continuing on. She nodded at me and left, presumably to join her sisters. As I came to the end of the icy cave, I saw Lance. "W-what are you doing here?"
"I am here to kill you." He sent out his Dragonite, and commanded it to attack me with hyper beam. I saw my life flash before my eyes quickly, before the hyper beam went through my chest. I had died. I awoke in a realm of gray, in front of Arceus.
"You have had an unfortunate fate, young child." Arceus said, looking at me sadly.
"W-where am I?"
"You are in what you humans call purgatory, and you have two choices."
"What are they?"
"You can choose to try again, but it comes at a price."
"W-what? I can live again?"
"Yes, but you must fight and deal with Lance."
"I had absolutely no chance to prepare for that fight."
"I will ensure he doesn't pull that again, but your journey will be harder this time, and you MUST succeed, for the fate of many worlds."
I awoke in my bedroom, unbelieving at my weird luck.
