Just a real quick chapter.
Don't own anything, just Ava and Ren.
To say Tsunami was surprised by the two new guest sitting in her kitchen would have been and understatement.
Of all the things she may have expected, all of the horrible, bloody things, a limping pack of ninja, two of which had tried to kill her father, was not what she thought would come into her kitchen. None of them had escaped some kind of injury, except for the pink haired girl, and two of the leaf ninja were all but unconscious. They had appeared with the older girl supporting her brother and another brunette while the blond boy held up the raven haired child, the adults bringing up the rear and her father, son, and the younger kunoichi kept to the middle.
The woman did the only thing she could think of. She opened the door wide and went to find the first aid kit. Which lead to her current placement, bandaging Sasuke while Sakura watched on. Ava had taken the time to put her brother in the corner with the order not to move and had went on to caring for the injuries of the other boy, Haku.
"So what are you two going to do now that your contract here is up?" the teenager asked, tightening one last bandage before letting the boy go, a bloody knife that had been in his shoulder threatening to stain the table. Zabuza looked at her, something sharp in his eyes as she met his gaze, looking entirely to happy with the outcome of the day.
"This place is nice enough, if the economy would improve. With the money that he-" he jerked his head to the boy collapsed in the corner, "handed over I can stand not to take another job for awhile. Easier than being on the run constantly…"
"Actually there's probably more back at his hide out, if we could go back," Ava hummed quietly and gave a pointed look to the silver haired man, who sighed and came to her non-verbal call, offering his injured hand.
"You could come back with us," Naruto shot in, and the other occupants of the room looked at him in surprise.
"What?" Zabuza asked dubiously, and Ren grunted as he opened his eyes.
"That is a possibility. I mean, the Hokage is pretty lenient, and you guys aren't loyal to Kiri anymore. Besides, it wouldn't be the first time he's let an ex-missing nin join us," his head was resting on the wall and Tsunami could see the tiredness radiating off of him. With a frown she finished her job with the younger boy and went to get water for everyone.
"That is true," Ava agreed, accepting the cup Tsunami handed her, "our clan is actually from Kumo, but after the last war everyone but our mom died. She hated the place after that and left."
Haku gave Zabuza a watered down version of the look that the mother often received from her son when he wanted something offered, and the man gave a sigh.
"Join Konoha? You must be crazy."
Which was really parent talk for; probably.
