A/N: Hey guys! Yeah there's another update. I know I said I wouldn' update again until after NEw YEars but I guess I lied... haha

Y'all asked for Danny's point of view so here it is. It's in third person though, because I don't want to have to deal in depth with a boy's mind haha. Enjoy!

Danny's POV:

Danny flew over Amity, scanning for anything that wasn't suppose to be there, his mind kept wandering though. His thoughts kept going back to Sam and how she didn't show up at lunch. He shouldn't have really been surprised, she seems to like spending her time alone and ignoring people. Danny sighed and let his eyes roam the town once again. He was over the park when he spotted her. Her raven colored hair and the sling were a good give away. He flew over her knowing he needed to address her about the attack as Danny Phantom.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw a girl stray from a group by a tree. He looked on curiously wondering what was going on. The girl suddenly put her foot out and Sam stumbled forward, falling. Knowing that Sam couldn't catch herself with her arm in a sling, Danny quickly dove down and caught Sam right before she would've landed on the ground.

His arms were wrapped around her torso and he carefully stood her back up. She moved her hair out of her face and stared at Danny, her eyes wide. She took a step back and her face fell when she recognized him. Danny looked at her skeptically not sure if she would run off now, knowing that it was him. Brushing his own hair out of his eyes he turns and glares at the group of girls, he didn't like it when people try to harm others.

Walking over to the girls, he asks them, "Did you intentionally trip her?" The girls eyes grew wide as they stood in front of Danny, clearly surprised he had showed up, let alone talked to them. A girl with a mess of red hair, finally piped up, "Yes," she says softly.

"You guys should know that is wrong." He scolds, figuring the girls were in middle school. "Why would you do that? She never did anything to you." Danny says gesturing to the group.

"Yeah," Snorts a brunette, "Never did anything, she just gets to hang out with-" Danny cuts her off not wanting to listen to how another girl supposedly gets more time with him than others. The same thing had happened to Paulina when he had to rescue her, but she seemed to take it all as a compliment, he thought to himself. All he was trying to do was help nothing more, yet girls seemed to get jealous every time.

"Go apologize. Now." He says, the annoyance of the girls jealousy and the fact that they tried to harm someone, made his voice seem colder than usual. The girls look back and forth between Danny and themselves before shuffling over to Sam and apologizing.

"Umm... No problem." Sam said slightly confused. The girls look back at Danny as if questioning if they apologized correctly, Danny gives them a small smile and the girls quickly hurry across the street giggling.

Danny began to walk over to Sam,but noticed how she backed up. Quickly stopping he slowly puts his hands up, but she flinches at the sight of them too. Dropping his hands to the sides as he says, "Please, don't run away again." He takes a step back to show her he doesn't have any intention to hurt her.

"I'm not going to." She attempts to say calmly.

"You aren't?" He asks eying her skeptically. Watching her carefully, he takes a step forward, when she doesn't immediately run away he takes another step.

"No." She says a bit of the edge he associates with Sam coming through as she answers his question. She holds up her hand, "Don't come any closer." He knew it was coming but Danny had still hoped that she wouldn't be frightened of him, even though she would never admit that she was.

Stopping, Danny rubs the back of his neck, it was a habit he did when he wasn't sure of himself. "You're okay, right?" He says asking about her fall and seemingly at the same time to ask if something happened at school to cause her to miss lunch.

"Yeah." She says. Danny relieved with her reply, remembered that he needed to ask her about the attack and if he could make it up to her, opening his mouth to speak he is cut off by Sam, "Whatever you are about to say, don't. I just want to be left alone and forget this ever happened, okay. I want to forget the attack and everything about it." Her eyes meet his before looking away, Danny got the sense that she included him or Danny Phantom in that 'everything'. "Now, please, just go." She turns away and walks off.

Danny stood there slightly dumbfounded, staring at her retreating figure. What the hell is wrong with her! Danny thinks to himself. I help the girl twice and all she does is leave with nothing but a rude comment. What the hell!

"Sam!" Danny yells after her, trying to control his anger. He notices her pace slow when he called, but she doesn't respond to him. He quickly flies over to her, "Sam." He says. She turns to look behind her and Danny sets down directly in front of her. She yelps when she turns back around, facing him. Danny's eyes narrow as his anger begins to show. Sam takes a step back when she meets his penetrating gaze.

"No." He says, anger beginning to lace his voice.

"Wh-what?" Sam stumbles across her words. Danny didn't know if she was scared or confused but he didn't care at the moment.

"I won't go. You're not walking away from me. Not this time." He recalls all the times Sam has stormed off from him, the day he met her at school to now, as she is walking away from him.

Sam's eyes narrow at him."This time?" She says with a bitter laugh. "I ran from you once. I've only seen you once." Danny mentally hits himself. He was being careless, of course she had only met Danny Phantom once. However, he is quickly over it.

"You're infuriating! I'm trying to help! Most girls usually like it when I save them! But you just seem to get pissed off. You don't even know anything about me or what happened!" He begins to shout at her. He normally would never do this but Sam seemed to keep pushing his buttons and he was tired of it.

"Sorry, that I don't come running to you like a freaking lost puppy! I can take care of myself." She shouts. Her good hand clenching up into a fist. "And I don't know anything?" She continues to yell. "I know all I need to know. I have finally got answers. I know who you are. Heck! I know what you are. You're a freaking ghost. You are no better than the ghost that gave me this!" She spits at me. Danny's anger is suddenly gone. She thinks I'm like the ghost that attacked her? "I don't care if you supposedly brought me to the hospital or not: I don't want you to do anything for me! I just want to be left alone!" She storms off again, but Danny doesn't even attempt to follow her. Her words repeating themselves in his head.

...

Danny leaned against a nearby locker. He didn't particularly want to go to class, especially after yesterday. He knew he would eventually have to though, as the tardy bell had just rung. His head hit the locker but he didn't care, at the moment he was too tired, he had an early morning with Technus, but it was nothing he couldn't handle.

"Hey Danny." His eyes flash open and his head snaps up. Danny frowns at the sight of her.

He sees her brow furrow as she looks at him in confusion, but she continues, "I'm sorry for not meeting you at lunch but-"

"No Sam, don't apologize. You don't need my help, you don't want to talk to me, you just want to be left alone. I get it. Bye" Danny states and turns around leaving Sam in the middle of the hallway.

"Excuse me?" He hears Sam say in shock. He hears her footsteps as she hurries to catch up with him. She stops in front of him. "Where did all that come from? I was going to come but-"

"Sam stop. I get it-"

"I was going to freaking come! It's not my fault that Paulina is a colossal b!tch and her prank backfired and got Star! I went to help her during lunch, okay?" Sam's temper was back, but so was Danny's.

"It doesn't matter Sam!" He shouts at her. The anger from yesterday back full swing. "I won't bother you anymore! Go be by yourself! Go hate on everyone and everything you see!" He shouts at her referring to himself in the last sentence. What she said last night had really hurt. It wasn't his fault he was half ghost! He tried to always do what was best and having her say that about him was like someone saying he was never human. Danny's voice lowers and he speaks with venom, "I expect it by now." He turns a corner and leaves Sam standing frozen in the hallway.

Quickly going intangible before Sam comes, Danny leaves school and flies back home. He was done. He couldn't take her anymore. He wanted to be her friend. He wanted to help her, but every time he tries it just blows up in his face and he was tired of it. Tired of her.

Danny was walking through the streets, bored. He was going to go to Tucker's house but Tucker had wanted to play the latest version of Doom. Danny had laughed and rolled his eyes at his best friend but let him play. Now he had nothing to do as their didn't seem to be any ghosts in town right now.

Danny sighed to himself but kept walking, hoping for something to come up to keep his mind occupied. He was passing by some rundown building when he heard a man's voice, " I know of a way to fix that." Danny, thinking something was wrong quickly changed into his ghost form. He ran around the side of a building to see a man with his arms around a girl. The girl let's out a whimper and the man moves his head down.

Danny didn't process what he was doing, his instincts just take over, as the mans lips made contact with the girls face so did Danny's fist with his chin. The man landed a few feet away and appeared dazed as he began rubbing his chin, disoriented from the impact of the blow. Danny glances at the girl to make sure she wasn't hurt in anyway. When his eyes landed on her face a chill went down his spine. This girl just keeps showing up, he thought to himself.

" I swear you're going to be the death of me." He groans. Grabbing the man roughly by his arm he forces him onto his feet."Can you stay here while I take him to the authorities?" Sam nods her head, tears still in her eyes, despite her attempts to rub them away.

Danny flies away with the man in tow. The man stayed quiet the whole way, probably because he was still disoriented. I should've knocked him out, Danny thought to himself. Either way it was for the best that the man was so quiet, because Danny was flying much faster than he should with someone, but he needed to hurry back so that Sam wouldn't leave and get herself in a bigger mess.

Danny made the man and himself intangible and throws the guy in a cell before rushing out to give the police a report on what happened. Not sticking around for any possible small talk with the officers, he flies off, praying that Sam is still there.

Danny landed back where the guy and Sam had been but Sam wasn't there. Running his hands through his hair, he quickly flies around the area until he spots a figure under a light post.

Landing about ten feet from where Sam sat with her knees pulled up to her chest, he spoke, "You didn't stay where I told you too." He speaks trying to keep all emotion out of his voice. She jumps at the sudden sound of his voice. Danny walked closer to the lamp-post to be in the light. He watches Sam to make sure it didn't frighten her, surprisingly though she didn't react. He looked her over one more time to make sure she wasn't hurt as she responded.

"I...umm... I wanted to get out of the alley." He nods his head understanding her intentions for once. You wouldn't want to stay in the place that you could've been potentially... He stops himself. He didn't want to think about what would've happened if he hadn't shown up

"You're more trouble than your worth." He sighs rubbing the back of his neck. "He didn't do anything to you, right?" He asks needing to be reassured that he didn't come too late. She shakes her head and looks down at her boots. "Why don't you call your parents to come pick you up?"

She begins to reach into her pocket before stopping. She shakes her head as she speaks, "My parents won't be home until tomorrow, and he made my phone fall out of my hands when he grabbed me. I don't know where it is." She says shrugging her shoulders. "I can just walk home." She says her voice soft.

Danny sighs and crouches down next to her, "I don't normally do this," He begins to rub his neck again, "But I could take you home. I don't really trust you to walk home without getting into some sort of trouble again."

She stays quiet for a little contemplating the question, "Okay." She says slowly. "You can take me home. I don't really want to walk home after... that. But... uh... how do you plan on taking me home?"

A smirk is on Danny's face as he gets up. "You'll see." He says with a wicked gleam in his eyes. Their arguments almost forgotten as he thinks about how she will react.

He leans in and picks her up bridal style. He looks down as he hears a gasp from her. The smirk on Danny's face only growing at her reaction, and we aren't even in the air yet, he laughs to himself.

Her hair was being blown away from her face as Danny flew with her in his arms. He watched her carefully wondering what her reaction would be. A smile soon stretches out across her face, lighting up her eyes and making her seem full of life. Danny gasps at her smile but quickly looks back up, his face burning slightly. He sees Sam look up at him from his peripheral vision. She seemed to stare at him forever. A slight chuckle from Sam brings a small smile to his face. "Where do you live?" He asks. She gives him her address and soon they are touching down.

Setting her down on her porch, she shifts her feet awkwardly and mutters a "Thanks." Danny gives her a small smile before flying off. He didn't want to ruin the peace that seemed to be between them. It was slightly odd because neither one had apologized, yet despite the reasons for seeing each another again, that night was strangely peaceful. Danny got to see a side to Sam that he wasn't even sure existed. That smile. He kept thinking to himself. He would definitely have to find a way to take her flying again. He thought a smile of his own crossing his face.

A/N: So there it is... My grammar was definitely not the best in this chapter. So I apologize. Also this was such a long chapter to write! I will be happy to go back to Sam's POV. Which it will be Sam's POV for the next chapter.

Y'all got a look into Danny's mind so I hope y'all are happy with a little insight. I don't think I will post another chapter tomorrow but you never know haha.
