Hey everyone! So after finishing my classes and taking a long break, I'm now back in the game. I can't believe that my fanfic has 104 reviews, I never thought this will reach to that kind of number. Thank you everyone! And for this chapter, I felt you guys deserved a long chapter and a long chapter you will get. And I'm not kidding, it's 15 pages long! Holy crap 15! And another thing I want to say is…I'm actually almost done with this story. That right… Be My Pal is almost done, I don't know how many chapters are left. I want to say like 4 or 5, maybe 3 I don't know I'll let you know.

The day was finally here, the Monster University college reunion.
The factory has transformed into a party central. Every room was filled with blue and white balloons, streamers to wall to wall, old pictures from the 80s', trophies and other trinkets set on tables. Every monster were all nicely dress up, enjoying the snacks and chatting away with their old friends. Not many had changed for the past twelve years.
The Slugma Slugma Kappa sisters were very happy to see each other again and they were still athletic as they were. Jaws Theta Chi were still their scary-selves with pointy teeth and wide jaws and pleased to see George again. The orange monster was in middle of telling his career life to his pals while leaving some minor details such as the many incidents of him and socks. Python Nu Kappa were a little order but still pretty as ever and still the popular girls as many others girls chat with them. And of course, Eta Hiss Hiss have out grown their goth nature, but they stay close together and kept things to themselves. They would stand still, wave to other monsters, and cracked a smile or two.
Sulley was very impress that everyone he knew have all come for the reunion. He greeted to some monsters and talk to them and asked how everything was going for them. He now stands at the side of the Laugh Floor, observing the party. Sulley see his friends coming in with batch of more cupcakes and cookies.
"Hey it's Oozma Kappa!" a monster cried out.
All the monsters cheered as they saw them, even the other Kappas clap for them. Years ago they heard rumors about what happened on the Scare games and the incident with Mike and Sulley but that was from the past. That was the year that Oozma Kappa showed that anyone can be a scarier and every monster looked up to them.
"Hello monsters!" Art greeted.
"If everyone is still hungry we brought us more snack, so please help yourself and enjoy" said Barson putting the snacks on the table. All monster cheered more and gathered around the table.
The Oozma bothers including Randall and Celia greeted Sulley.
"Hey I thought you said you weren't coming" said Sulley as he smiled and raise a brow to Randall.
"Eh, your pals needed some help with carrying the snacks" answered Randall.
"Yeah, he wanted to come" Art blurted out, not noticing the look Randall was giving him.
"No I didn't!"
"That's not what you told us" Squishy butt in the conversation.
"I said I would come and just watch." And that was the honest truth from Randall. He said that he would help but he wasn't thinking of interacting with other monsters, just observe them have their fun while he leads back on a wall so no one would notice him, he had always done that whenever the company throws parties.
"Dude it's okay I get it, you wanna see your old friends, like everyone else" Art put an arm around the lizard, giving him a brotherly hug while Randall just rolled his eyes.
"If I had any old friends" Randall thought to himself.
"We were talking to our old greek councils, did you know they got married?" said Terry.
Sulley blinked in astonishment, "Wait…Brock and Claire? Really?"
"I know, who knew they would hook up" said Terri.
"You know I heard that Dean Hardscrabble could be showing up here" said Don while drinking his apple juice.
"Wow, the legendary scarier herself is actually coming" Randall said with amazement, "Is she still teaching?"
"I don't think so, last I heard I think she retired three years ago" said Don.
"Mike actually mention about her being really frightening but I think she sound like a lovely person" said Celia, her snakes agrees with her.
"Hey, where is Mike anyway?" ask Squishy.
The group heard a pair of small rushing feet coming to them, it was Mike. "Sorry, sorry! I'm here, sorry I'm late but I had to pick up something."
That something pop up behind Mike and greeted the monsters.
"HI!" Boo waved to her friends.
Randall's fronds rose in panic, "What the- Wazowski!" he grab the green monster by the horns and dragged him to a near desk, ignoring the little guy's yelp.
"What are you doing?" hissed the lizard as he let go Mike.
"What? What did I do!?"
"Mike you weren't supposed to bring Boo" Sulley whispered so no one would hear.
"I know, I know! I was visiting her and she really wanted to come…I said just for five minutes" Mike quickly said, "Besides she's wearing her costume."
"That costume isn't going to fool everyone!" Randall whispered back.
"Hey, as long as Roz isn't around we're in the clear" Mike explained and turn to Sulley, "She hasn't come back from the business trip right?"
Sulley thought about it, "You know, I haven't heard from her in a while. The last time she called me was last week, something about needing to back to the CDA."
"So she's working on an investigation?" asked Randall.
Sulley just shrugged, "Don't know, its top secret she said."
"Roz is always the mysterious woman, I wouldn't worry too much about it" Mike said.
The trio then saw the little girl with Sherri and the Perry twins grabbing as many snack as she can in her tentacle hands. They all smiled at her cuteness but the little moment was interrupted when the monsters suddenly staring cheering for someone who standing at the entrance of the Laugh Floor. Squishy tapped Mike on the shoulder as he see who the person was.
"Guys…' he said with disbelief, "look who finally showed up."
Sulley, Mike and Randall saw who it was, and this monster wasn't alone as four other monsters stand beside him. It was them, Roar Omega Roar. Oozma Kappa haven't seen these guys since the day they graduated out of Monsters University. And now there they were, with Johnny Worthington who was waving and smiling that same smug they seen before. Johnny friends Chet, Chip, Javier, and Reggie didn't look like they change one bit.
There was only one thought that was going through Randall's head: "Oh-no not them…"
Roar Omega Roar were saying their hellos and giving hugs to their old friends until Chet spotted Mike out from the crowd. Chet walked up to Johnny and he saw where the crab was pointing. The royal purple monster smile grew wider as he walks to the group.
"Well, well, look what we have here" said Johnny with is smooth and sly voice, "gentlemen, it's been a long time."
Sulley, who puts on a weak smile, shook his old roommate's hand.
"Hello Johnny" he only said.
The rest of the Oozma brothers stared with unsureness and were not very pleased by the glowers looks from the rest of the Roars. Johnny noticed Mike staring up at him and he chuckled.
"I see killer still works here", he said as he pats Mike on the head like a child, "How's the scaring going Wazowski?"
Mike knew what he was trying to do and tried not to show how hurtful that comment was. The green eye ball inhaled and comment back, "Technically I make kids laugh but yeah, it's going just fine."
"Well all rightly then, just as along you're not…cheating" Johnny whispered the word close to Mike's ear.
Sulley had enough of this, after all these years Johnny is still a bully and still mistreating his best friend.
"Stop it Johnny. Mike didn't cheated I did so leave him out of it" said Sulley.
"Oh James I thought you knew better" Johnny had a disapproval frown, "you and I know that this little green ball was never scary, you didn't have to cheat for him."
The Oozma brothers were now glaring at Roars, putting their hands on Mike's shoulders to support him. Even Celia was getting fed up with the nasty comments.
Johnny held up his hands in defense and smug that same smile again, "However, I'm glad that your buddy found something that's more suitable for him and his size.
"Awww snap!" Chet snapped his claw and the rest of the boys smiled and giggle at their leader's comment.
"OKAY THAT'S IT! LEMME AT HIM!"
Mike was about to jump on Johnny but Randall grabbed him by the head. The green monster was getting sick of being insulted by this guy. Mike tried to throw a punch or a kick at the royal-purple monster but Randall had a stronger grip on him so he wouldn't get too close. He understand why Mike would just lash out like that. He handed Mike over to Sulley as he turned his attention back to Johnny.
"Why don't you bug someone else, Worthington" Randall glared with annoyance.
The Roars were surprise to see the one monster they thought they never see again.
"Boggs you're here too, good to see you my man" said Johnny who was not intimated by the lizard's stare.
Chet noticed the long faded scar on Randall's face.
"Whoa dude, what happened to you?" the crab said pointing at it only to have his claw slap away. Randall was not in the mood to explain his scar.
"When was the last time we saw you?" asked Johnny.
"Since you kick me off your team" Randall said bluntly.
"Don't take it to heart Boggs, I was only trying to do what was best for my faculty."
Before Randall could come up with a smart comeback he see Boo toddling back to Sulley holding a dumpling in her tentacle hands.
"Hey Kitty, is this a real eyeball?"
The ROR see the little monster and bursted into a fit of laughter. Boo turned to the laughing monsters watching them with curious eyes.
"Kitty? What an adorable nick name Sullivan" Chet laughed while Sulley was glaring at him.
"Um, who are you guys?" Boo asked with a raise brow.
"We were once the baddest and scariest team on the university campus squirt" said Chet, " we're Roar Omega Roar!"
"Oh, so you're those jerks Mike mention-" Mike quickly covered Boo's mouth, not wanting to tick off the ROR group.
"What?"
Nothing, she said nothing!" cried Mike.
Johnny just chuckled and looked down at the little monster girl, "And who's this cuttie pie?"
"That's my niece" Randall didn't stop himself in time from saying that out loud and everyone was staring at him. Randall glances at his friends silently asking them to just play along.
Boo pushed out of Mike's grip and stared up at Johnny with a stern face.
"Yeah, I'm his niece so you better leave him alone or I'll scare you away" Boo tires her best to do a roar which only made the bullies laugh even harder. Johnny pats Boo on the back as he calmed his laughter and whiped a tear away.
"I like you kid, you have a lot of spunk. Now I'll let you go play with the rest of your adorable friends."
"Not so fast jaw face!" Mike hopped in front Boo so he could glare face to face to Johnny, "You insulted me in front of my friends and my girlfriend, you and I are going to settle this once and for all!"
"Oh really Wazowski, and how are we going to settle this?" asked Johnny who air quoted on the word 'settle'.
While the friends tried to break off the stare down, Boo stood there wondering if she should help them or stand aside so the grow-ups would handle it. She takes her attention back at her eyeball dumpling. Looking at it suddenly gave her an idea.
"Hey, wda' about a game of dodgeball?" she spoke out getting the monsters attention.
"Did somebody say dodgeball?" George call out.
The little monster nodded, "Yeah that could settle…um, whatever is going on. It could be like the scare games, with lots of fun and no cheats. Fair and square."
"That's a great idea Boo" Mike cheered and turned to the Roars with confident grin, "You hear that Worthington, we're gonna beat you in a game of dodgeball!"
Johnny only smirked his signature grin, "Fine with me. I love a good challenge, right boys?"
The Roars nodded for approval ready to play against Oozma Kappa once again.
"Wda' say guys, let show those lousy Roars what makes Oozma Kappa A-OK" said Mike.
"Yeah!" cheered the Perry twins.
"Finally, some action!" cried Art.
"I don't know. I was never good at sports but I'll give a try" Squishy said nervously.
"Sorry fellas, I love to play but I can't keep up like I did in the scare games" Don said sadly.
"Aw that's all right Don, you can support us by cheering us on" said Sulley, "Hey Randall do want to take his place?"
The lizard filched his head at the poka-dotted monster with a raise brow, "Uh, are you serious?"
"Yeah you're one of us now. So do ya say, brother?" said Art.
From the beginning, Randall used to despise the Oozmas from winning every tournament. But now that he's actually hanging out with them and gotten to know them, they weren't as bad as he thought they would be. Plus beating Johnny in dodgeball and giving him a piece of mind would lighten up his day. He smile his razor sharp toothy grin.
"All right guys, I'm in"
After an hour of clearing everything away and every monster finding a spot to sit, the teams get themselves ready for the big dodgeball game. Chet noted to his leader that they need one more member for the team. Johnny scans the Laugh Floor to see if there is anyone with a special skill for their team. He see a bat-like monster flying to a cupcake on the table.
"Excuse me you sir."
Barson looked over his shoulder to see Johnny was addressing to him.
"Me?" he said pointing to himself.
"Yes you. How would to play on our team?"
"Um…sure I guess" Barson simply applied.
The bat flyer files over to his boss, "Um Mr. Sullivan they want me to play on their team, is that okay with you?"
"Oh don't worry about it Barson" Sulley who wasn't bothered by this, "Now they have enough members so we can start the game."
Cherri, Don, and Celia were sitting in front with Boo sitting on Celia's lap. Smitty and Needleman were gathering all the colorful dodgeballs in the basket and rolling it to the empty center of the Laugh Floor. Carefully they arranged the balls in a straight line for the players. As Smitty and Needleman move out of the way, Brock and Claire were now in center with microphones in their hands. The couple never thought they will be doing this again.
"THE DODGEBALL GAMES! YYYYEEEAAAHHHHHH!" Brock screamed into his microphone in excitement causing everyone cheer loud.
His wife rolled her eyes, "Okay honey clam down" she said blandly.
"Welcome everyone to the Monsters University college reunion here in Monsters Incorporated. Today we be hosting a dodgeball tournament between two rivals."
"THAT'S RIGHT CLAIRE! YOU'VE SEEN THEM COMPEAT IN THE SCARE GAMES MANY YEARS AGO, NOW HERE THEY ARE AGAIN! ROAR OEMGA ROAR VS OOZMA KAPPA!
The crowed cheered to the teams, Boo was shouting good luck to her friends only to stop when the light flicker for a second, lucky no noticed.
"Now we all know how the rules goes, whoever can knock all the players out of the team wins" said Claire.
"BUT REMEMBER, THIS IS NO ORDINARY DODGEBALL GAME AND THESE ARE NO ORDINARY BALLS!"
"The red balls are normal but other colors are different. For example, the green balls are covered in slime, it will stick and slow down the player.
"THE PURPLE BALLS ARE FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT AND IT WILL COME BACK AT YOU. BUT ONE BALL TO LOOK OUT FOR ARE THESE" Brock holds up a blue crystal ball with a small rope tied on top, "THE DISCO BALL! ONE TOUCH OF THIS BAD BOY AND YOU BE NON-STOP DANCING!"
"I wanna touch them" Art comment.
"No Art! Not a repeat of the toxic challenge" hissed Mike.
"Players, are you ready?"
"Of course" said Johnny.
"Ready when you are" said Sulley.
"ALL RIGHT! LINE UP AND GET READY!" Brock held his arm up as the players line up, ready to grab the dodgeballs.
The Roars felt confident that they surely win this game, having to play many sports before this will be easy for them. The Oozmas were also ready to get their game on, a little nervous but ready.
There was silent in the room until Brock gave the signal as brought his arm down.
"GO!"
As fast as they can, each team ran towards the row of balls and grab as much as they can, Art on the other hand, ran to the disco ball.
"I have to touch it!" he cried.
Mike in one quick swoop tackled Art to the ground. The crowd flitched and went "OHHH!"
"OH! AND THE GAME START WITH ONE OF THE OOZMA TACKLING THEIR OWN TEAMMATE!"
"No Art! Don't do it!" cried Mike as he tries to restrain the odd shape monster.
"I have to!"
The rest of the Oozmas each grabbed the dodgeballs but only one purple and all red ones. The Roars grabbed all the good balls showing they have the advantage. Sulley and the gang quickly backed away to avoid getting hit. Terri and Terry tried to throw the red ball at Chip only to miss and Chip throws a slime ball at them, the twins dodged it and goes to find another ball. Sulley and Randall throws three red balls to Johnny and Barson. Johnny dodges and Barson uses his tail to bounce the balls back at the team.
"So far, no one is out but things are about it get intense!" said Claire as she and Brock watch closely.
Boo cheers for her friend, quietly whispering, "C'mon guys, you can do it."
Mike was able to calm down Art as the two grab two of the dodgeballs. Mike grab the slime ball and throws it to Chet, it only mange to get the claw monster's legs stuck. Chet struggles to break free, he was able to get the goo off but he was little slower than before.
Randall see Johnny throws a purple ball at him, the lizard ducked and turned to see the ball was coming back to him. He turns invisible and ducked again.
Reggie throws a disco ball to Mike who quickly avoid it but failed to notice Art going to the crystal ball.
Javier had four purple balls and with a sinister grin throws them to all of the Oozmas.
"LOOK LIKE THE OOZMAS BETTER HELD FOR THE HILLS, THOSE PURPLES BALL ARE FLYING EVERYWHERE!"
And they did just that to avoid them. Squishy went to hide behind the tallest laugh canister. He doesn't' like this game at all. He heard his mom and Don encouraging him
"Com'n kiddo! Show them whose boss!" cheered Don.
"You can do it baby!" Cherri cried out.
Squishy see a red ball rolling and goes to pick it up. He noticed that Chet was still slowing down, so with all his might he throws the ball…and it was a direct hit.
The crowd cheered.
"WOAH! IT'S A HIT!" cried Brock.
"Looks like one of the Roars are out" said Claire.
Cherri jumped and screamed for joy, "WAHHH! That's my boy!"
Chet couldn't believe it, he was out. Squishy was impress himself. Johnny was ticked off and turn his attention to Squishy, and he smirked again.
"All right boys new plan" he said and then shouted, "hit the small fry!"
The Roars grab their dodgeballs aimed all of them to Squishy who screamed in fear and went to hide.
Reggie knows he hid behind the canister and throws the ball to knock it down revealing the frightening monster. Javier throws four purples at him and Squishy ran for his life.
"AHH! Look out!" he cried.
Mike can only watch, "Calm down Squishy just…" he see that Art touch the disco ball and was about to scold him but Art was dodging the balls by dancing. "Squish, just do what Art is doing!"
Art was doing great dodging but everyone was more impress by his dance moves. Squishy tries to copy his friend's moves only to get hit on the head and pretty much everywhere by many purple balls.
"Oh, that has gotta hurt! And Oozmas lose a member from their team" announced Claire.
Squishy goes to sit with mom and his step-father, he was embarrassed when his mom wouldn't stop hugging and kissing him.
"That's it" Randall mumbled to himself. He grabbed a red ball and a slime ball and handed a purple one to Sullley.
"Sullivan, take Chip down. I'll deal with slobber here."
Sulley nodded to the plan and throws the purple ball to Chip. The monster ducks but didn't see it coming back to him and was hit on the back of the head. Randall throws the slime ball right at Reggie, it landed in his big mouth. As Reggie tries to spit out Randall throws another ball at him and he was out.
"A DOUBLE HIT" yells Brock.
'Way to go guys!" Art call out not noticing a ball was heading right towards his face.
"Sorry" Barson apologized.
Just then Javier throws a slime ball at the Perry twins. It hits them right on their tentacle legs, Terri and Terry were stuck and couldn't move.
"Terry! What do we do?!"
The older brother see a purple ball rolling right by them.
"Terri quick, try to grab that one" cried Terry as the youngest brother tries to reach with his arms.
The twins managed to get the ball and throw it before they were hit and out. The purple ball goes and hits Barson, he didn't react in time to avoid it.
So now it was Mike, Randall and Sulley vs Johnny and Javier.
"Oozma down to three and Roars only have two left. Who will win this game?" said Claire.
The teams were getting exhausted but the game was not over yet. Javier picks up a disco ball aims it to Mike. The green eyeball was too busy to avoid the ones Johnny was throwing at him and the disco ball whack him on the head. Mike then started dancing.
"LOOKS LIKE THE LITTLE GREEN GUY IS GETTING HIS GROOVE ON!" cried Brock.
Mike tries to stop dancing but couldn't control himself anymore, "Oh-no, my hands are in the air like I just don't care."
Randall grabbed a purple ball and throw it to hit Javier but it missed twice. He tried again but his ball clashed with Javier's ball and it bounced back. Randall ducks but for Javier, because his ball bounced back, he got hit the face and the purple ball came back and hit him again. Now it was only Johnny that was left remain.
The royal-purple was upset, he did not want to lose to the Oozmas again. "I'll get those losers" he thought to himself.
Mike finally snap out of the dancing and was able to control his body again. He then see that Johnny was about to throw two dodgeballs at Sulley's direction. He quickly run in to Sulley and jumps in front of him. In slow motion Mike puts his arms up to stop and balls and wailing out, "Nooooo!"
The balls smacked him in the face and his only eyeball.
"Oh my goodness, Michel!" cried Celia.
"Looks like the green guy is out" said Claire.
Randall and Sulley goes over to see Mike.
"Mike! You okay buddy?" Sulley asked.
Mike only opened his eye every weakly, "Guys…I don't think I can make it. Randall I need you to finish this game and take down Johnny.
"Aren't you being over dramatic about this?" Randall said.
"Do for it the team…do it for me…" Mike weakly said. Randall just rolled his eyes and looked up to Celia.
"Your boyfriend's fine!" Celia sighed in relief.
"Hey Boggs!"
Fronds rose at the call of his name and turned to see Johnny staring at him.
"C'mon why are you helping them out? I thought you wanted to be part of the big leagues. I thought you wanted to fit in with us."
Randall narrowed his eyes at him. There was a slight urge inside him to go up to the monster and just punch him in the face. He glances at Boo as the little girl smiled and waves at him. That seems to calm down Randall. He and Sulley grabbed a few dodgeballs, getting ready to take down the last player.
"After you kick me out of the team, it made me realized I was never going to be with the big leagues" said Randall to Johnny.
"But after hanging out with these nerds..." he looked back at his brothers and grins and familiar smile.
"I think I'm OK where I stand."
And with that Randal throw the purple ball to Johnny but the monster dodge it, just like Randall planned it. The ball comes back but Johnny ducked again. Sulley throws a red ball to the purple one and it bounce back to Johnny's direction. The royal-purple monster wasn't fast enough to dodge it and the ball hit right on his chest. He stumbled and fell to the ground on his rear.
The whole audience cheered.
"THEY DID IT! THE WINNERS ARE OOZMA KAPPA!" Brock scream into his microphone and gives his wife a hug. The Oozmas were louder than the audience as they rush to Sulley and Randall, congratulating them.
"That was amazing!" cried the Perry twins.
"You two really killed it out there" said Art.
"You make a really good team together" comment Don.
"Yeah, I guess we do" Sulley said as he puts a friendly arm around Randall. The lizard didn't returned the hug but he'll let it slide.
As the Roars help their leader up, Sulley walked up to Johnny holding his hand to him.
"Hey Johnny that was a great game. No hard feelings?" Sulley said.
Johnny just glared at him but shook his hand anyway, "I'm impress James, you and your team can do a lot when you don't cheat. But next time, we'll take you down."
"If there is a next time" Sulley just rolled his eyes and smiled.
Johnny simply 'humph' and walked away with his boys.
"You handled that very well, Mr. Sullivan" said an elderly wise voice.
Sulley turned around to see his old dean of scaring. Abigail Hardscrabble still have the same scary appearance with her dragon like wings and her many centipede legs. The only difference was Hardscrabble was wearing a nice white blouse than her office clothing that she wore at MU.
"Ms. Hardscrabble, this is a surprise" said Sulley as he shakes her hand, "I thought you weren't going to come."
Hardscrabble chuckled lightly which was something Sulley never heard from her, "Oh I wasn't going let myself be late, especially for this occasion."
"Hey everyone looks who's here" Sulley called to the others. The Oozmas were very surprised to see their teacher again. They all greeted her.
"It's good to see you again Ms. Hardscrabble" Mike politely.
She nodded with a smile, "Same to you Mr. Wazowski. Are you still surprising monsters with your new career?"
"I'm sure am. In fact I like it better than scaring" Mike said with honesty.
"Good."
"So are you still teaching at the university?" asked Sulley.
"No, I think you've already heard that I have retired. As for the university they are now hiring comedies for teachers."
"Really?" Mike said almost in amazement.
"Yes" the retried dean said, "Although I will be honest, when I heard monsters are making kids laugh I was against it for a while. But now I see how much energy laughter can bring. How did you discover this Mr. Sullivan?"
"I um, I help a human get back home when Waternoose was planning to kidnap children" said Sulley.
"I see" Hardscrabble had heard the story of Waternoose's evil plot and how the human child was involved with it.
"Well, thanks to your bravery and being leader of CEO, let's pray that no event like that will happen again."
"Yes ma'am" Sulley agreed.
"And Sullivan, your family will be very proud of you" said Hardscrabble, it was last thing she said before she walked away to talk with the other teachers.
"Was that Dean Hardscrabble?" Boo asked to Randall.
"Yep."
"Cooool" Boo whispered, "What does she mean by against laughing?"
"Against means when somebody not on aboard on the things they don't like" Randall explained.
"She doesn't like laughter?"
"Not all monsters believe that laughter is the answer. There are some that still want to scare because, we were born and taught to be scary. Sometimes it's hard to accept change."
Now that he was thinking about it, he used to think like that. He was against the whole laughter thing, but now it doesn't seem to bother him as it did before.
"I hope that doesn't last forever" said Boo, "laughter can bring good thing for monsters."
Randall smiled at her innocence and ruffles her costume hair, "I think it's time for you to head home."
"Awwww, I can I stay for the dance?"
"No."
"Randall don't party crasher I'll dance with her" said Mike, "C'mon kiddo."
Randall growled at the green monster, "C'mon pal, she having fun. Ten more minutes okay and then we'll take her home."
The lizard sighed, "Fine. Ten minutes and no more."
Indeed there was a dance, all the best DJs came to play oldies songs for all the monsters. Music from the 80s' to 90s' and to crazy jazz. Mike and Boo danced for a while and they switch, Mike with Celia and Squishy with Boo. Don and Cherri danced romantically on the dance floor and the Perry twins danced with one of the PNK girls. Sulley was dancing to the music too until he sees Barson flying to him.
"I gotta go, my wife just call me to come home."
"All right see ya later Barson. Hope you had a good time here" Sulley said waving good-bye to him.
"Oh I sure did, see ya Mr. Sullivan."
Every monster, expect Randall, danced all day and having a great time at the reunion.
Sulley then notices the time, "Wow, its seven'o clock already?"
"Boo's been here too long" said Celia carrying the little girl, "her babysitter is probably looking for her."
Celia handed Boo over to Sulley, the girl was pretty tired from all of the partying of the reunion. Sulley smiled down at Boo as he holds her.
"C'mon Boo, time to go home."
"Kitty, can I take the last cupcake with me?" yawned Boo, rubbing her eyes.
"Sure Boo go ahead."
Sulley puts Boo down and she makes her way to the table.
Suddenly the lights started to flicker catching everyone's attention.
"Whoa, what's going on with the lights?" asked Mike.
"I don't know, this shouldn't happen" said Sulley.
All the lights in room suddenly shut down which didn't bother anyone since monsters are used to working in the dark. Boo however is a different story, she yelp and couldn't see anything. She was so frighten of how pitch black it was in the Laugh Floor. She can only hear the mumbling from everyone around her; she heard someone calling her.
"Mary! Mary, where are you?"
"Randy, I can't see." As Boo tries to find him she tripped on her own feet.
Then the lights suddenly turn back on which was a relief to everyone, but that did not last long. Boo got up rubbing her sore head and saw every monster was looking at her. Her head piece of her costume fell off revealing her human features.
All everyone in the room screamed, running in every direction to left and right.
"A HUMAN CHILD!"
"NOT AGAIN!"
"EVERYBODY PANIC!"
"DON'T LET IT TOUCH YOU!"
"Mary!" Randall grabbed the little girl and carried her out of crowding chaos. He quickly rushed to where Mike, Sulley and Celia were standing.
"Take Boo home, we'll calm down the crowd" Don called out as the Oozmas tries to keep the monsters tranquil.
The four monsters took off, taking one of the mini go-carts to drive over to the simulator room.
"I knew this would happen!" Randall snapped, "I told you never to bring her to this reunion!"
"I'm sorry, I didn't know that was gonna happen" cried Mike.
"Randy I'm really sorry" cried Boo who felt that she really messed up.
Randall just sighed, "It's not your fault. I take the blame I should have watched you better."
"No Randall, I'm mostly responsible on Boo so it's my fault" said Sulley.
"Guys it doesn't matter whose fault it is. What's important is to take Boo home now" said Celia.
They stopped near the hallway that leads to the simulator room. Sulley quickly leaded the way and opened the door.
"Okay let's hurry before-"Sulley stopped dead on his tracks and the others stop as well. They see that Boo's closet door, wasn't there on the station where it usually stands. They took step closer but Mike yelp in pain and he holds his foot to see tiny pieces of wood underneath his feet. There was wood scattered all over the floor. A shredder machine was nowhere to be found.
"Wha…what happed?" Boo said, her voice was quiet but distress.
No one couldn't explain it, it was too unbelievable. Randall knew something is definitely wrong here, obviously someone have broken in the room and shredded Boo's door.
But why?
The doors behind suddenly closed with a loud clash, everyone turned to see two large heavy looking monsters glaring at them. They never seen any of these two at the reunion.
"Whoa whoa whoa, who are you guys? What's going on here?!" cried Mike.
"Hey boss, what cha' we do with them?" said one of the large monsters.
Out from the shadows another monster appeared, and one that the five new very well. He was very big but ugly. His body had scales like a crab but with long eight legs like a spider. His skin was still grey and wrinkly as before. He was wearing an orange shirt with numbers on the side pocket. And a pair of five eyes glaring daggers at the five friends.
"Let me have a word with them" he said.
Sulley was speechless, he holds Boo tightly and close to his chest. Boo definitely remembers this guy and her pupils shrank from fear, she turned away not wanting to look at him. Sulley finally finds the words to say.
"W…Waternoose, your…your-"
"Back? Yes I am. I heard of a reunion party and I decided I should drop by to see the wonderful faces I miss. I'm very astonish to see your face again, Boggs."
"You mean you escape from prison" Randall hissed in disgust.
"About that…I made my escape a month ago really."
The four monsters eyes were wide of shock.
"But enough of that, you all came in such perfect timing."
"What are you talking about?" Celia demanded.
"Oh you haven't noticed that I turn on the emergency lights?"
"What did you do to our laughter supplies?" cried Mike.
"I simply turn it off, we won't be using that anymore" Waternoose explains, "in fact everyone tonight will be doing things the glorious way…the scaring way."
The way Waternoose said that last part send chills to Boo's little spine. They all hear more chaos coming from outside, getting louder and hearing someone saying: "Help they're everywhere!"
"I want my company back Sullivan" Waternoose said in a sinister voice, "now make things easier for me and hand me the child."
"You will NOT touch her!" growled Randall as he jumped on the large monster knocking him out.
Sulley did the same, he holds on to Boo while he uses his other arm to punch the other monster in the face.
"RUN!" cried Sulley.
The four made a dash in the hallways, the large monsters went looking for them.
As group keep running, they found a back door that leads to the parking lot. The sun was setting low as the skies grew darker and darker. Sulley, Mike, Randall, and Celia kept on running and protecting Boo from Waternoose's goons. None of them even look back to see if they were being chased. As they run almost out of the parking lot they see an RV driving right by them. The RV stops and Squishy opened the door. It seems that all the Oozmaz managed to escape.
"Quick get in!" cried Squishy.
They jumped into the vehicle with Don behind the wheel and they drove off. They droved away from Monster inc not knowing where to go or what to do.
So that was Ch12! Please let me know if there's any mistakes and I will fix that! Man this was a long one, and I'm really sorry guys. A lot of stuff happened and it's alot to take in but I'll try to explain more of it in the next chapter, and thank you so much and see ya!
