chapter 11: winters darkness falls
xero and tenshi walked the ruined forest and it was dark "what happen here" tenshui askered with puzzled and xero sigh "i think thisu sed to be the fotast of magic" he sigh and notce some mushroom on the ground
it was then a group of armored fairys with steampunk shotguns had come "well what do we have here looks like a god damn stinking human piece of shit" cirno spat at them "humans are niot ment to be outside the human camp" growled rumia.
Rumia was chewing some gum and spitting everywhere which made xero feeldisgusted "i remember you you human hating scumbag" xero grinned with a psycho smile as he cracked his knuckles.
Cirno laughed "we'll be eating fresh human tonight girls" she laguthered and then charged forward but xero easly blocked her and kicked her into a tree "fucking try it you bitch!" he said and charged up a holy ball and slammed it into rumias face knocking her teeth out and leaving her bloody "i thought as much weakling" xero said as he charged forward and punched her over and over until nothing but a bloody mess was left "you treat humans like animals...then you will die like animals" xero said and formed a holy energy blade from his arm "eat this" he shouted and cut rumia in half ending her life once and for all.
"This is for every human that died by your evil hands youkai" xero spat
cirno tried to run and tenshi laughed as she fired a barrage of colorful magic at them "dont even try it baka" tenshi giggled and blasted the fairies killing them.
Xero cornered cirno and kicked her face first into the ground as she coughed up blood "please have pityon me" cirno cryed "I do have pity but you need to pay for your crimes" xero said as he kicked her upwards then teleported behind her joining his fists as he slammed her in the back back into the ground breaking her bones.
Xero landed and pressed his boot into her back "i am going to force you to live like humans do" xero said angryly as he grabbed her ice wings tightly and then with enhanced power ripped them outo f her back as bloody sprayed everywhere and cirno was screaming in agony "deal with it" xero said as he walked off letaving her to rolling around on theg round in pains creaming
xero then gave tenshi five as they did a badass husband and wife back to back pose "you showed them dear" tenshi smiled and hugged him.
Xero picked up one of the shotguns and strapped it to his back "we need to find the human village see what has changed these past few years" he sighed and they ventuered forward.
As they got there they noted a sign and it said yukari city and it was more industral but with nature and some steampunk things and it was full of yokai
they saw a fast food stand with a fairy at the front "human burgers get your human burgers very tasty" she smiled.
Xero wanted to kill the fucker but held himself back because of tenshi "we cant draw attention to ourselfs we have to blend in" tenshi said and xero nodded.
There was also a youkai prest on a st and chanting to a crowd "humans are scum humans are filth they would bring misery to the world but our god yukari had mercy and gave them puirpose in the new world" she said
then two police youkai in brass armor with guns came down "halt citizen here are your id cards" asked the offcers "we forgot it" xero said trying to get away fromt hem but they armed her weapons and got ready to kill "humans should be in the camp you will be exterminated now" shouted the youkari police armor and then a a strange shadoy figure in a clock appear and cut them down with a sword "over here" she shouted and lead them safty into an allyway and a secret door behind a house.
Inside the safehouse the girl took the cloak off and it was senae and xero smiled as he hugged her "i'm sorry for what my corrupted side did uyears ago" he said and huggedh er and noted she had a metal plate augmention thing around her stomach "it was a fatal found but kanako was able to use magic to keep me alive until they could augmentment me and give me new artifcal organs" she said.
Senae poured everyone tea and kanako came in "after you died xero yukari had her agents in key postions to take control and it first they said it was for the humans interests and people believed them as they passed new laws and acts to take more and more power until the youkai held all the keys and all the doors. Thats when yukari begin her coup with the help of the combined moon and yokai armys." senar said
then kanako spoke "they declare martal law and take power then after a while humans become second class citizens and over time they where sent to work camps to build weapons and items for the youkai elltes but not just that yukari is building a a magitech army to invade the outside world and turn it into a region of the new gensokyo if we let her win she will enslave all the humans forever" kanako sighed.
Xero sip his tea and ponder "if they do that then magic would return to the outside it would be chaos and the youkai would be rulers of all"
"then we must stop them" tenshi said
kanako came in and opened a box "i engineered these for you the metals are made from pure runestone" she said and inside the box where two large handguns named dragonsoul and darkedge and they had gold plating and runic engrvings on them "dynamite!" xero smiled as he posed with the guns and could feel his magic resonate with them
"we sent a message to yukari, thonight we free the camp" he smiled.
Later that night at yukari city gulag the humans where slaving away mining and building and being whipped and tortured by youkari guards.
The warden mystia loliriri was overseeing the camp "work harder you fuckers! Work longer! Better faster!" she spat and kicked a child "fucking humans" she laughed and gotted some of her guards to kick the boy while he was down "if you cant work then I guess you'll make a good snack" she laughed and thent he doors blew up.
Xero walked in dragging the body of a dead guard behind him "i'm going to pay you youkai fucks back for kenie and the others who died becase of you" xero smirked as he pulled the handguns out and started blasting the guards one by one as the bodies piled up
"KILL THAT FUCKER!" loliri screamed as more heavy armored guards came into the room and xero spun around shooting at them "BURNING BLAST!" he shouted and channeled fire magic into the guns blowing up a row of guards.
The humans cheered as xero took out the shotgun and blasted a magician youkai in the face killing her "boom baby" he laughed
fairy guards came in "kill him!" shouted the head fairy with green hair and they charged and attacked xero but he drew his blade and blocked there attacks as he cut each one day leaving a pile of bloody bodys and injured fairys screaming in pain from there wounds
xerofreed the humans "get out now, go tosafety you are free men now!" and the crowd cheered "Xero! Xero! Xero!" they chanted.
After finishing the last guard off he moved towards loliri "i'm going to pay you back for kenie, for billy and all the others that suffered" Xero shouted as he charged and then loliricast a flood of magic as xero manauvuered and dodged every blast and then started to slash at her over and over wounding her "FUCK YOU!" loliri screamed "GO TO HELL!" xero spat and punched her in the face breaking her nose.
Loliri tried to cast defensemagic but she was low on energy as xero teleported in front of her grabbing her by the neck and then punching her face over and over and over "yu damn youkai opressed everyone you made humans suffer" he cryed as he punched her again and again until she was dead and nothing was left of her "Xero stop now its over" tenshi begged as he let go of the limp body "they hurt so many people" he sobbed "come on klets get outo f here before yukari gets the army to reinforce it" tenshu said and they escaped back to the safehouse.
It was late at night and kanko had prepared a room for xero and tenshi as they rested in bed wondering about what would happen "yukari is not going to be happy about this she will want revenge." xero sighed.
Tenshui cuddled him "its not the gensokyo I remember, this was ag reen and happy land but yukari has twisted and perverted it." she sighed.
Xero lay back in bed knowing the true fight was coming "i miss the old gensokyo, the one that took me in three years ago, I miss training with pa...well and the scarlet devil masnion, my adventures with marasa and the others...I want that bitch to pay for ru ining this wonderful world" he said with sadness.
Tenshi kissed him "Lets make the most of this night" she smiled and they made out and xero gave himself to his lover and wife that night, knowing it may be the last chance to be happy before the battles to come.
