River's eyes snapped open. The sound of screaming made it hard for the scientists to keep her unconscious. She felt blood rush to her face in anger of hearing the Doctor in pain. Even if it wasn't HER Doctor, she still felt just as protective.
River yanked on the straps, realizing how tiered she was the half human stopped. She looked around to see what was happening, between the oxygen mask and her being retrained to a table, the view was very limited.
A bright light fallowed by screaming beamed to her left side. She pulled and streached to see but the restains were perfactly fitted.
The screaming went on for a long time till the light slowly died down, even then she heard gasps and jerks.
A young voice pipped up near the chamber, "If we keep use it at 65% like this well be able to power 28 of our ships!"
"We'll take a break for now, and lock miss Melody with her parents." Madame Korvarian answered.
Suddenly 12 guards surrounded River as they undid the straps and carried her to the cell. Amy embraced her daughter along with Rory.
"Are you ok?" Amy's shaky tear drowned voice asked.
"I'm fine, I feel a lot better but what about you?" River pushed a tear from the red head's cheek.
"The truth," the young companion looked up through the bars, "how can I be ok when I look at him?"
River turned then gasped in horror. A small tear made its was down her face as she looked at 10.
The Time Lord hung pitifully, his skin so pale it almost matched the pure white walls behind him. His hair plastered with sweat along with the rest of his body. His eyes were squeezed shut while his teeth gritted. A look of pain and fear spread across his face as the Galifrayian hung there.
River closed her eyes and turned back to her parents.
"What are they doing to him?" She shakily asked.
Rory quickly responded, "To me, torturing him." he spat.
"and to them?" River held her father's arm to get him to calm down.
The roman took in a long deep breath, "They're taking energy out of him and using it in the ship, or killing him if u want it short."
"But if they kill him in the past then-"
"They know, that's why they're doing it..." Amy trailed off while looking into her daughters eyes.
River sighed, she glanced around the room noticing all the soldiers and scientists leaving the room. Only 4 remained, 2 by the Doctor's chamber and the other 2 by their cell.
Even though she was hurt and exhausted, looking at the poor Doctor made River confident.
"We need to get out of here." The blond whispered to the Ponds.
"Really? I hadn't noticed!" Amy quietly shouted towards her and quickly referred it. "I'm sorry, I just-"
"It's fine." River's understanding eyes looked onto her mother. "I've figured it out."
"Already?" Rory asked.
"Yes, it's like a map in my head, like the Doctor I'm good at making plans." The half human looked into both of them. "Before I tell you I need to know that you're BOTH in, but I'm not going to sugar coat it, it will be dangerous."
"Count me in, anything to teach these thick heads who's family they shouldn't mess with." The centurion narrowed his eyes and smiled.
"How about you Amy?" River turned toward the firery haired companion.
"Do you even have to ask? Anything to see the face smile again." she slowly leaned closer, "Geronimo right?"
River and Rory quickly in unison,
"Geronimo."
