Here is the first gym battle of Jatius. Enjoy the chapter.
I woke up and looked at the clock. It was 10:21am. "Well I slept in." I thought to myself. Serena was fast asleep in my arms, I could hear Totodile and Pikachu snoring in the corner of the room.
I close my eyes, I try to think of strategy for every pokemon ever found. I get to about a hundred different strategies before I heard Serena moan awake. I guess I looked like I was still asleep because Serena woke up and starting running her fingers through my hair. I wanted to see what she does to me when I'm asleep so I kept pretending I was asleep. Serena started to whisper a story to me.
"You know Ash, I've waited 10 years to see you again and this has been better than what I thought." She stated. Hearing that made me almost smile but I had to keep it back. "Your the best Pokemon Trainer I've ever met and I get to say that I'm dating a future Pokemon Master." She laughs. "I want you to know that I will always love you no matter how many wins or losses you accumulate throughout your journey." She pauses before saying the next part. "I just can't wait to be called Mrs. Ketchem and grow old and have kids with you." I feel a tear on my chest. " I'll always be here no matter what, I love you Ash." With that she rests her head back on my chest.
"I love you too Serena." I say opening my eyes and looking her in the eye. "I always have and always will, No matter what." I say smiling at her and I plant a kiss on her lips. She sheds another tear and smiles with blush on her face. She kisses me back and this time it was longer and more passionate. I could tell that this was a "I love you" kiss and not a "I want you now" type of kiss because there wasn't as much tongue and the kisses weren't fast. They were long and meaningful. All I could think about was why she was emotional all of a sudden. Serena gave me one last kiss and stopped to smile at me.
"What?" I asked laughing at her just staring at me.
"Nothing, I still can't believe we're dating." She says happily.
"Well we are, and I love you." I say giving her that goofy smile that she loves. "We should get up." I state.
"Yup, you got to get ready for your gym battle today!" Serena says enthusiastically and she jumps out of bed and heads into the bathroom to take a shower. I get out out of bed and go to the chair in the corner. I wake up Totodile and Pikachu, both give a long yawn before waking up.
"Morning guys, how was your sleep?" I say walking back to bed. I lay on the bed and turn on the Hoenn League Championship.
"Pika pi chuu!"(it was great!) Pikachu answered.
"Toto."(same.) Totodile agreed.
"Well that's great guys because we have a big day today!" I said enthusiastically. This caused the two of them to nod in agreement and talk about how they're going to kick ass.
"So after Serena gets out and I get ready we're going to train extra hard today!" I announce to the both of them. Saying that actually got them more hyped and pretty crazy with excitement.
About five minutes later Serena comes walking out of the bathroom with just a towel around her chest. "You can take a shower now." She simply said and walked back inside.
"Alright guys, don't do anything crazy while I'm in there ok." I tell them and I get nods in agreement.
I walk into the bathroom and see Serena has taken off the towel and is doing her hair in the mirror naked.
"Are you becoming a nudest?" I asked jokingly.
"Only around you Ashy." Serena replied looking at my reflection in the mirror. "I didn't want your pokemon to see me naked ok."
"Why is that?" I ask taking off my boxers and turning on the water in the shower.
"I don't know I just don't feel that comfortable with others seeing me naked." She responds, now staring at my naked body.
"You pervert." I say to Serena laughing and waiting for the water to heat up.
"I'm the pervert?!" She asks. "The first thing you did once you got in her was stare at me!"
"Yes, but anyone would with a body like yours." I say and grab her ass.

"Nothing." She says with a smirk. "Just turn your body this way."

"Thanks Ashy, but it's kind of a habit now." She says staring into the mirror. "Go train with your Pokemon, I'll be out in like ten ok." She says giving me a smile.
"Alright." I say. I give Serena a kiss and walk back into the bedroom. Just as I walk in Totodile performed a RKO on Pikachu, who acted as he passed out.
"We should use that today." I say laughing at this. I simply got a couple of laughs from the three of them. "Well let's go, Serena's going to meet us out in the practice field." This caused the three of them to jump up on me with excitement.
Walking Out to the lobby I had Totodile on my head, Pikachu on my left shoulder and Gible on my right. This caused a couple people to stare and laugh at this sight but we found it just as funny.
Luckily this Pokemon Centre had a indoor practice arena that was heated. I walk in and immediately let out the remaining Pokemon on my team. Charizard, Snorlax, Donphan, Pikachu, Totodile, and Gible now stand in a line facing me. This is my moment for those epic motivation speeches.
"Today we have our first gym battle." I start. "Today we show the Jatuis region that we aren't a push over or a trainer anyone can beat!" Now my Pokemon are getting mad. "All of you I've known for a long time and I know that you may not be the biggest or last evolution but inside you have the same motivation I do! To be the best.." They all nod. "I know that I've gotten the best Team anyone can assemble but I've got to ask you guys this question: Are you ready to show not just the Jatuis region, but the whole world that you are the best and will beat anyone that dares appease you!?" I yell and suddenly All six of them tell there loudest and shoot Their most powerful attack into the ceiling. Luckily it was able to take a hit. "Then let's go into this gym and kick ass today!" I finish and they all start chanting "We're the best!" In their own language.
"That was quite the speech there." A voice said, I turn around.
Standing in the door way was the person that tried raping my girlfriend.
"What do you want Calem?" I ask rudely. My Pokemon pick up on my hate towards this kid and start growling at him.
"I want a chance to win her back." He says walking up to me.
"What makes you think she'll want to be with a rapist?" I say sizing him up.
He starts chuckling. "I'll tell her you cheated on her with May."
"I didn't and why would she believe you?" I ask. Out of the corner of my eye I see Serena now standing in the door way listening to the conversation.
"I'll make it up, And photoshop it." He says smiling.
"Serena knows I would never cheat and who would trust your word over mine?"
"If I have a photo, me." Calem says holding up a photo of a screenshot of some random porno with the faces of the guy and girl changed as me and May.
"That's so fake it's not even funny." I smile.
"Doesn't matter I'll convince her that you cheated."
"Do you think I cheated Serena?" I ask looking over Calem's shoulder.
"Not at all sweetie." Serena says walking up to us. This put a surprised look on Calem's face as he turned around and looked at her. Before he could say anything Serena sacked him with her hardest kick. Calem instantly feel to the ground holding himself.
Serena then walks up to me and made sure Calem was looking before giving me a deep passionate kiss. Calem just shed a tear and roiled over.
"Let's go win you this badge." Serena whispered.
"Yah, I'll go get May and we can head out ok." I state and I walk to May's room while Serena watches my Pokemon.
I knock on the door an wait. No reply. I keep knocking. No reply. "May it's Ash, we've got to go." No response. I try opening the door. No luck. I decide that she might've left already and is waiting in Vonctaria City.
I walk back to the practice arena to find Serena hiding behind Charizard, who is protecting her from a Steelix. I notice that each of my Pokemon has picked a battle with each of Calem's Pokemon who was standing behind his Steelix. Serena notices me and gives me a "I need help" look. I sprint towards Calem and football tackle him. Since Calem was so close to Steelix his face went straight into its tail, knocking him out.
Calem's Pokemon turned around to see there trainer knocked out and stood down rather than attacked.
I ran towards Serena and grabbed her hand. Before I could ask weather she was ok or not I pulled her towards that exit. My Pokemon followed me as we ran through the lobby and out the door.
Once got outside we ran straight towards the nearest clothing store. Once inside we stopped to catch our breath. "Are you ok?" I ask her.
"Yah, we just got up and charged at me." She started to cry. I pulled her in for a hug. The store clerk overheard what happened and greeted us.
"Hello, can I help somehow?" The young man asked.
"Can we just use your change rooms?" I ask and receive a nod.
We walk to the back of store. I return all my Pokemon except Pikachu and continue.
Once we got into the back we changed into our winter gear and walked out the store. Thanking the man on the way out.
"Alright let's go to the gym!" Serena states, feeling better now.
"Do you know where it is?" I ask.
"Go to your right for about three blocks and it should be right there." The man from the store says.
"Thank you so much sir." I say and we start walking that way.
Once we get to the gym we stop and stare at it. I love seeing the look of a gym I'm about to beat.
We walk in and instantly I notice it's just a plain battle field. "Hello?" I call out.
"I see you made it Ash." Marc said as he walked out from a shadow in the corner.
"Yes and I'm here to challenge you to a gym battle!" I yell.
"Well then I accept." he says smirking. We both walk towards each side of the battle field. Serena walks and sits on the bleachers with Fenniken in her hands.
A referee appeared. "This will be a three on three battle! Only the challenger is allowed substations. Let the battle begin!"
"Go Donphan!" I yell and let Donphan out.
"Let's go Peliper!" Marc says and let's out his Pokemon.
"Donphan use rollout!" I command and Donphan starts rolling towards the water-type bird.
"Peliper use Hydro Pump." Marc says and Peliper unleashes his attack. Donphan was knocked back because of this.
"Use Stone Edge!" I yelled and countless rocks flew towards Peliper. About half of them hit but was enough to hit him out the sky and fall. "Now quickly use rollout." I said and Donphan quickly sped towards the bird Pokemon that was laying on the ground. The attack thankfully landed and Peliper was knocked out.
"Peliper is unable to battle, Donphan wins." the Referee said raising his left hand.
Both of us ended up returning both our Pokemon. "Go Gible." I said and let Gible out.
"Come on out Zebstrika." Marc said letting out the electric Zebra like Pokemon.
"Gible use dig!" I commanded and Gible went underground.
"Zebstrika use thunder wave on the ground!" Zebstrika unleashed the move, paralyzing Gible underground. "Now use Flamethrower in that hole." A flamethrower was unleashed from Zebstrika into the hole that Gible used to dig. I could hear the pain he was in.
"Gible return!" I announce and return him. "Go Charizard." I say and let him out. "use your Flamethrower!" I yell and he unleashes a more powerful attack. When the attack was over Zebstrika fell to the ground.
"Zebstrika is unable to battle." The ref says.
"That's some Charizard you've got there." Marc says. "Go Hydragon!" Marc let out his third and final Pokemon. This Dragon type Pokemon looked bigger and tougher then the rest of any Hydragons I've ever seen. "I'm not going to be beaten three times in a row!" Marc said to me.
"Return Charizard, let's go Donphan!" I announce. I figured if I saved my best Pokemon for last and weakened his Final Pokemon. "Use rollout continuously." I tell Donphan, who started to roll furiously towards Hydragon.
"Hydragon.." Marc said and Hydragon grabbed Donphan and stopped him in his tracks.
"What?!" I ask in shock.
"Dragon breath." Marc said simply and Donphan was engulfed in the Dragon type attack. Then was knocked out.
"Gible, let's go!" I say and let out Gible. "Use Draco Meteor!" I command and Gible unleashed the most powerful Dragon type move known.
Hydragon tried to to dodge as many as possible, but got hit by two back to back.
"Use your Draco Meteor!" Marc said.
"Quickly use dig!" I command and Gible Buries himself underground while the Meteors continue to hit the ground. "Now bite." I say once the showers of meteors are over. Gible explodes out of the ground and bites into Hydragon's left foot.
"Get him off!" Marc commands but Hydragon can't shake Gible off. "Use Dragon Breath on him!" Marc commands and Hydragon looks down and unleashes the attack.
Somehow Gible dodged it and Hydragon actually hit his left calf, hurting himself and screaming in pain.
"Great now release and use Draco meteor!" I yell and Gible does what I say. However Hydragon catches the attack and launches it down at Gible.
When the dust clears, Gible is knocked out. I look down at Charizard's Pokeball. He is my last hope now. "Go Charizard!"
Charizard immediately shot a powerful Flamethrower into the sky and stared at the opposing Hydragon. Hydragon just stood there, Heavily breathing.
"Charizard use Flamethrower!"
"Hydragon, Dragon breath!"
Both Pokemon unleash their attacks and they both are equally strong.
The attacks cause an explosion and both Pokemon are staring intensely when the dust clears.
"Charizard, use dragon claw!"
"Counter with your dragon claw!"
Charizard and Hydragon speed towards each other with both of their right hands glowing purple. Right before an attack could land, Charizard dives a bit lower and hits Hydragon across the chest.
The both now land on opposite sides. Hydragon is badly hurt but continues to fight. Charizard on the other hand is completely fine but looks like he could pass out any second.
"Charizard, grab him!"
"Hydragon use dragon breath!"
Charizard flys towards the other Pokemon. He dodges the attacks and grabs Hydragon.
"Up!" I yell.
Marc can't think of anything to say while he watches his Pokemon get carried to his ending.
"Seismic toss!" I yell louder. Charizard flys in a circle three times before nose diving to the ground. Just before the ground he throws Hydragon to the ground and lands. He roars loudly and shoots a large and powerful flamethrower into the sky.
The dust clears to reveal that I've won. "Hydragon is unable to battle, Ash wins!" The referee announces and raises his arm on my side.
Serena immediately ran and gave me a hug and a kiss. "That was amazing!" She says, hugging me more.
"Yes it certainly was young man." Marc said walking over to me. "That was a great battle, here is the Vonctaria City gym badge: The Hydron Badge." Marc handed me my first gym badge of this region.
"Thank you, it was a great battle." I say, shaking his hand.
"So where are you going next?" Marc asks.
"Where's the nearest gym?" I reply.
"Pretty far actually, it's about a three week walk to Edtris Town." He says. "First you have to go over the Jagged Mountains, and those are very dangerous when trying to get over."
"Well we better get going then." I suggest.
Suddenly the door bursts open. "Ash Ketchum! How dare you leave without me!" May yelled.
"You weren't in your room when I knocked..." I reply. I see in the corner of my eye that Marc has steeped away from this.
"Then you wait for me so I could watch you!" May says, continuing to yell.
"I'm sorry ok." I reply with my head down.
"That's all I wanted, now whats next?" May asked.
"Heading to Edtris Town, about a three week walk." Serena said.
"Well better get going then." May said and walked outside into the freezing cold temperature.
"I can tell this is going to be fun." I say to Serena sarcastically. She laughs and agrees with me. We each put back on our outside clothes and walk outside.
"So which direction do we head?" I ask.
Serena pulls out her digital map and looks at it. "This way." Serena says, pointing East.
"Let's go!" May says and walks ahead of me and Serena.
We hold hands as we walk to the second part of this regions eight challenges.

I updated again! YAY! Haha I'm really sorry for the long wait but I have another excuse ok! The chapters at the beginning would barely hit 1k words and now I'm typing quadruple that! I was a slow writer to begin with and now I'm quadruple as slow...sorry. Anyways, for you Canadians out there! Edtris Town is Edmonton and the Jagged mountains are the Rockies. The towns/cities the will visit(in real life names) are Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax. If you have anymore CANADIAN CITIES!
